There are many factors that can contribute to changes in home prices, including economic conditions, supply and demand for housing, and local market conditions. In general, if there is a greater supply of homes for sale than there are buyers looking to purchase them, it can put downward pressure on home prices. Similarly, if there are economic or market-specific factors that are causing people to be less confident in the housing market, it can also lead to declining home prices.
