SPEAKER_00 (00:15):
Hi there, welcome
back to the Create Your Day
podcast.
I'm your host, Jen Cody.
Thank you so much for beinghere.
This is a great episode, so setaside some time.
We are going to dive right intothe facts that we're in the
final 90 days of 2025.
I know.
It's really kind of mind-blowingfor me.
(00:36):
And I want you to not spiral, right?
This is not about going into, ohshit, I've not done anything I
was going to do this year, whichI know you do because I do it
too.
90 days, actually, it's a lot oftime.
It's plenty of time for us tocompletely transform something
in our business and our life aslong as we are strategic about
(00:59):
it.
And that's exactly what we'regoing to do today.
How do we make these last 90days count?
And how do we make them countfor real?
Right?
So I want you to think about thegoals that you had for this
year.
You know the ones, right?
They were big goals.
You can't you set them onJanuary 1st.
You maybe had that fresh startenergy.
(01:19):
Who bought a new journal?
You definitely had goodintentions.
And now it's October.
And if you're like a lot ofpeople, you look at those goals
and you think, well, that didn'thappen.
And why didn't it happen?
Maybe one of those goals feelsreally far away, like laughably
far away.
Maybe there was something youwere planning to launch in your
(01:40):
business and it's still sittingin a Google Drive somewhere or
in a folder in your room.
Maybe you promised yourself thiswould be the year you take care
of yourself and you actuallyhave not taken a day off.
I bet there's lots of you thatcan relate to that.
And here's where a lot of peoplebeat themselves up.
They make them that this meanssomething about them.
I'm here to tell you this is notthat you're not disciplined
(02:02):
enough.
It's not that you're notcommitted enough.
It's not that you're notsuccessful enough.
So I want you to stop that rightnow.
Stop doing that to yourself.
The reason most goals don't getachieved really has nothing to
do with your worth or your workethic.
It simply has to do with thefact that you may not have a
strategy or a strategic planbehind you to achieve them in
(02:26):
the first place, which basicallymeans you had a wish, not a
goal.
And wishes without systems,they're well, they're they're
just wishes and they're notgonna come true.
So let's focus today on whatactually works.
Like I said, 90 days is enoughtime to create real change.
This is the critical part.
(02:47):
You have to be willing to getstrategic instead of just
staying busy.
Because I know lots of you outthere feel like, well, I'm so
busy.
I don't know why my goalshaven't happened because I've
been busy 24 hours a day for thepast entirety of 2025.
So I want you to think aboutsomething for a second.
What is one thing in yourbusiness that if you achieved it
(03:10):
in the next 90 days, it wouldmake a measurable difference?
I don't want you to think about10 things.
Not the first 10 things that popinto your head.
This is not about a completebusiness transformation.
I want you to choose one thing.
I'll give you a few examples tochoose from, but just pick one
of them.
So maybe it's hitting a specificrevenue milestone or goal in a
(03:34):
financial sense.
Maybe it is, like I said, launching something that's
sitting in a folder somewhere.
Maybe it's building a systemthat you have the time to
actually take off.
Maybe um it's hiring help, delegating, right?
That's a big one.
Or filling, uh getting newclients, filling like a pipeline
of new clients so that you canreally start 2026 really strong.
(03:58):
So pick one thing.
It doesn't have to be one ofthose, it could be one that's
all yours, but that's it, justone.
What I have learned after yearsof working with people, the ones
that really break through, they're not trying to do
everything.
So I don't want you to try to doeverything.
I want you to get laser focusedon the right thing.
And now we'll get tactical aboutit.
(04:19):
Because if we're going to makethe 90 days count
professionally, we need to dothree things.
And I want you to actually dothem, not just listen and think,
yeah, that's a good idea.
So actually do these things.
First, I want you to look atyour numbers.
Not if you're driving, but ifyou're not driving, pause this
and go look at your numbers, whether that's in QuickBooks,
(04:40):
uh, your latest PL, your bankaccount, what whatever you use,
your spreadsheet, I don't know,if you just in your mind
somewhere, know what yournumbers look like.
Hopefully you have a systemaround this.
So think about what your numberslook like.
Go look at them.
Where are you when it comes toyour revenue this year?
Not where you hoped you'd be,not where you're pretty sure you
(05:03):
are, where are you actually?
And now I want you to think ofthe goal that you had for
yourself for the end of theyear.
What's the gap between those twonumbers?
Now think about how does thatgap fit into your business,
right?
Everybody's business isdifferent, but I want you to
think about how does thisparticular gap, where you are
(05:23):
now to where you want to be onDecember 31st financially, and
break it into daily goals, notmonthly, not weekly, not
quarterly for this quarter.
What does that gap look like?
So let's just say, you know, you're off by, I don't know,
$60,000.
I want you to take that$60,000and break it into a daily goal.
(05:46):
So what does that look like?
How much do you need to beworking towards each day to hit
to uh bridge that gap?
Because when you break it downlike this, it makes it not vague
anymore.
It's not scary.
It's actually a concrete blackand white number in front of
your face.
And it starts being almost, you're gamifying it.
It's something you can actuallyplay the game.
(06:09):
And it's only when you do thismath that you can wake up each
day and say, okay, my goal todayis to do$600 in business.
It's to sign two new clients,it's to sell X amount of these
things that I sell, whatever itis that you do.
You know, if you're in realestate, it's closing on two new
(06:29):
houses, whatever that lookslike.
So break this down into smallerchunks so that you're not
working in your business withoutknowing exactly what it's going
to take to hit the goals thatyou're looking for.
And then the next thing I wantyou to do is I want you to think
about the fact that the problemis not that you're not working
(06:50):
hard enough.
I know I keep saying that.
The problem really is thatyou're working on the wrong
things.
So I want to do something rightnow that could be a little
uncomfortable.
We're going to look ateverything on your plate and
ask, is this actually moving metowards my 90-day goal?
So think about what's on yourcalendar right now.
(07:11):
Is there an event that youcommitted to?
Um, if it if there is and it'snot bringing you the clients or
strategic partnerships oraffiliates that directly impact
your goal, cut it.
Are you planning to do some sortof free training or some sort of
social media event, maybe forexposure?
(07:32):
If you've done that in the pastand it does not convert to paid
clients, cut it.
Is there a project that youstarted earlier this year that
you're still kind of tweakingand tweaking and tweaking?
If it's not generating revenueyet or building your list, press
pause.
And I know this can beuncomfortable because right now
you're listening to me andyou're like, what about my
(07:52):
visibility?
What about developing myrelationships?
What about keeping my optionsopen?
I want you to understand youhave 90 days.
You don't have time foractivities that might work
someday.
You only have time foractivities that are going to
work right now.
And I am not telling you tobecome some ruthless, burnt-out
(08:13):
hustle machine.
I swear.
I'm really not.
I just want you to be strategic, and there is a huge difference.
Strategic focus means that youwork smarter.
It means that you're not wastingenergy on things that don't
matter.
It actually creates more spaceand less stress because you're
not spinning your wheels on busywork.
(08:34):
So please trust me on this.
90 days is enough time for us toget done what we need to get
done, but not if we're going tobe wasting time.
We have to be super strategic onwhere we focus for the next 90
days.
So the reason a lot of peoplecan't seem to focus on these big
goals is because they're so busyputting out these daily fires.
(08:54):
Every single day starts withgreat intentions, right?
And by, I don't know, 9, 10, 11a.m., you're dealing with
crises, crises, crises thatshouldn't exist.
Why do they exist?
But we have no choice in themoment, right?
We have to take care of them.
So in these next 90 days, we aregoing to work on preventing
fires instead of fighting them.
(09:17):
And here's what that looks like.
For the next week, I want you totrack every urgent thing that
pulls you away from strategicwork.
Every interruption, everycrisis, every I just have a
quick question that comes yourway.
At the end of the week, look atthat list and ask, which of
these could have been prevented?
And what I mean by that is, isthere a system?
(09:39):
Is there a boundary?
Or is there a way for you tohave better communication that
could have prevented thosethings?
We're going to do this for oneweek.
That's it, because we don't havetime to do more than that.
How many of those things couldhave been prevented?
My guess is probably close to80% of them.
And that's what you're going tobuild.
Not all at once, becauseremember, we're doing strategic
(10:01):
focus, but one system a week forthe next 12 weeks.
So maybe this looks like in weekone you're creating a
decision-making framework sothat the people that work you
work with, if you have a team, they stop asking permission,
right?
You give them a framework.
If A equals B, if B equals C,the answer is yes.
(10:22):
The answer is no.
This is a system you can putinto place.
Week two could be creating anFAQ document so that you're
stopping answering the samequestions all the time.
Week three, put somecommunication protocols in place
so not everything is seen as anurgent matter.
So you see where I'm going withthis, right?
One system per week, and byDecember 31st, you're going to
(10:44):
have 12 new systems that preventchaos in your business.
How amazing is that?
That alone is going to changeyour entire business.
Never mind just the 90-day goalthat we have here.
So while we're thinking aboutdoing all of this, right, your
business goals matter.
But you matter more.
(11:04):
So did you set personal goalsthis year?
Those probably got pushed to theback burner as soon as things
got busy.
Right?
We always want to prioritize ourself-care, our relationships,
our hobbies, right?
I'm going to make more time toread every night.
The health goals that we have, all of the things that we
promised ourselves that we wouldprioritize once things calm
(11:25):
down.
And as you know, things do notcalm down.
We have to create the calm.
So let's talk about how to makethese 90 days not only count for
you, your business, but also foryou.
So stick with me for a second.
I want you to think aboutDecember 31st.
You wake up that day, you'relooking back on the year.
(11:46):
What's one personal thing youwant to be able to say you did
for yourself?
And again, not 10 things, justone.
I'll give you some things tothink about, food for thought.
Maybe it was establishing amorning routine.
And establishing a morningroutine that makes you feel
human, right?
Not like a robot that's doingthings because you think it's
(12:07):
what you're supposed to do.
Maybe it's reconnecting withyour partner beyond like the
small talk that comes with twoexhausted people trying to
remain connected.
Maybe it's moving your bodyconsistently, reading actual
books instead of just businesscontent, taking a real vacation,
not checking your email, whatever it is.
(12:29):
Think of one thing that you wantto be able to say between now
and December 31st that you didfor yourself.
Write it down and put thissomewhere that you're going to
see it every single day.
On your bureau, on your mirror,on your laptop, whatever it
looks like, in your wallet, somewhere on your refrigerator.
I'm gonna just keep spouting outdifferent options for you, but I
(12:52):
want you to put it somewherethat you're going to see it
every single day.
These goals, these personalgoals, they do not happen by
accident.
They are not the byproduct ofsomething.
They don't happen when you haveextra time.
They happen when you make themnon-negotiable.
So if you barely have time foryour business, how are you
supposed to add in personalgoals too?
(13:13):
We're not adding, we're actuallyintegrating because your
business and your life, they'renot separate buckets.
They're interconnected.
When you take care of yourself, you show up better in your
business.
When you feel in control of yourbusiness, you have more energy
for your life.
So we're not talking aboutadding more to your plate.
We are building a life thatsupports your business and a
(13:38):
business that serves your life.
So, what does that look likepractically?
When you start every day with 30minutes, that's just for you, no
email, no Slack, just you.
And again, let's go back tomovement, moving your body,
journaling, reading something, meditating, whatever that is.
(14:00):
Can you carve out 30 minutesbefore the chaos starts?
Now, this is the part where thatmay mean setting your alarm for
30 minutes earlier than it isnow.
This will change your lifebecause this is going to be 90
hours over the next 90 days.
(14:20):
90 hours invested in yourself.
Actually, it's not, it's 45hours, right?
So we're 30 minutes a day for 90days, 45 hours over the next 90
days.
45 hours that you have investedinto yourself.
That's not selfish, that isstrategic.
You will start your daygrounded, you'll make better
decisions, you will beresponding instead of reacting,
(14:44):
and you will be leading insteadof surviving.
You want to be the leader ofyour life, right?
You don't want to just surviveevery single day.
So, what are some things you canput in place to help make this
easier for you?
These will be weekly.
So I want you to pick one thingeach week that you're not going
to compromise.
It will be a non-negotiable, nomatter what fires pop up.
(15:06):
So, weekly, remember, so make itsomething that is special and
also doable.
So, can you fit in a date nightevery week?
One, it doesn't have to be thesame night every week, but can
you fit in once a week datenight?
Can you fit in time for yourselfto move your body three times a
week?
Maybe there's friends that youdon't get to see, right?
(15:27):
How many of us are keeping trackof all of our relationships on
our little mini computers, thesephones that we're carrying
around?
And that's our touch point.
Can you set aside time toactually pick up the phone and
speak to a friend every week?
Maybe you love to be creative, whether that's journaling,
drawing, writing, whatever thatlooks like.
(15:49):
Can you find creative time oncea week?
Just one thing per week thatreminds you that you're a human
being, not just a businessowner.
And from it reminds you thatyou're a human being that you
like to be.
You want to be doing things thatmake you like yourself.
So I want you to take one thing, put it in your calendar, treat
it like a doctor's appointment.
(16:11):
Treat it like a client meeting.
Because honestly, it's moreimportant than that.
It's more important than theclient meeting, it's more
important than the doctor'sappointment.
This is time that you arecommitting to yourself.
And we can go back, oh, it's gotyears ago.
There's an episode, I will putit in the show notes when I find
out what episode it was.
(16:33):
Every time we make promises toourselves and break them, we are
breaking trust and we areteaching ourselves that we can't
be trusted.
Let yourself learn over the next90 days that you can be trusted
to commit to yourself.
It's so important.
Okay, stay with me for the nextweek as you're doing these
(16:55):
things, pay attention to yourenergy.
What's draining you, what'sfilling it back up.
Not what you think should, because you may be surprised,
right?
Maybe something that you feellike should be filling you up is
actually draining you, or viceversa.
Figure out what actually does.
And what I mean by that is maybeyou thought like going to your
weekly networking event wasenergizing for you, but now
(17:17):
you're realizing you come homeexhausted and a little resentful
that you're behind on what youwanted to do that day.
Maybe you thought working solo, like in a um in your home
office, would feel reallylonely, but you're realizing
that that's actually energizingfor you.
So pay attention and start towrite down what's draining you
(17:38):
and what is energizing you.
In the next 90 days, we do nothave time to waste and we don't
have energy to waste.
So there are things that aregoing to be depleting you.
We want to protect your energy.
It is a limited resource.
So this means we start saying noto things that drain us, even if
they seem like goodopportunities.
Start saying yes to things thatfill us up, even if they seem
(18:02):
indulgent.
Imagine that.
Like that sounds like it hurtsto even think of doing that.
How do I say no to somethingthat seems like a good
opportunity while I'm saying yesto something that feels almost
indulgent and selfish?
This is what we do for 90 days.
It's how we live our best livesand be in our optimal shape
mentally, emotionally, to takecare of what we need to take
(18:25):
care of to hit these goals.
Our energy determines ourcapacity, and our capacity
determines our results.
This is not selfish, it's notindulgent, it is, say it with
me, strategic.
Okay, so we've talked about thewhy, we've talked about the
what.
We need to talk about the how, right?
Because how can we not get intohow you're going to actually do
(18:48):
this?
Inspiration is great, butinspiration without
implementation is just metalking at you.
It's entertainment, and you didnot tune into this podcast to
feel good for 20 minutes andthen do nothing about it.
Let's build out this 90-day gameplan.
Okay, month one, days onethrough 30.
Write this down.
The first month is all aboutgetting clear and building
(19:11):
momentum.
So for the first week, we'regonna talk about strategic
clarity.
Complete that brutal revenuereality check.
What do you need to close thatgap for this year?
Define your one professionalgoal and your one personal goal
for the next 90 days.
Calculate what do you need to doeach and every day to hit these
(19:32):
targets, and then set up yourtracking system, which we're
gonna talk about in a second.
Week two, priorities.
We're going to audit everythingon your plate.
You're going to cut what is notsupporting your 90-day goals,
pause, and if you don't want tocut it completely, press pause.
Set up a tracking system so yousee like where are these fires
(19:53):
that could be prevented, andthen create your first fire
prevention system.
Remember, we spoke about that.
What are the things that arestarting fires in your world
that could be prevented with asystem?
Week three, foundations.
I want you to block yourcalendar this week for this kind
of strategic work.
(20:14):
Put some focus time on thecalendar.
Does not have to be a lot.
Just put it where you can atleast three days this week.
Then I want you to think aboutthat morning routine.
Like, what does your morningroutine look like?
30 minutes for yourself.
If it can't be in the morning, that's okay.
This is we we write our ownrules, right?
(20:36):
Maybe your 30 minutes that's foryourself is going to be at
lunchtime because you know thateverybody's busy and you can go
take a walk and clear your head, and that is what works for you.
Maybe your 30 minutes is in theevening.
All I ask is that your 30minutes is with no one else
around you.
No one, no thing.
Okay?
Then I want you to schedulethose weekly non-negotiables.
(20:58):
What are the things you're goingto commit to?
Maybe it's a date night, maybeit's gym time.
What is the one thing or twothings that you're going to be
on your calendar non-negotiable?
And then you're going to startyour energy audit.
What is draining you?
What's filling you up?
Week four, you're going to buildyour next system.
(21:20):
Look again, what could have beenprevented if I had a system
around it?
They're there, I'm telling you,every single day that you're
dealing with crises that couldhave been prevented.
And in week four, I want you toalso review your first month's
metrics when it comes to yourtracking, right?
Are you hitting those dailygoals?
If you're not, this is the timewhere you're going to adjust the
(21:41):
strategy based on what isworking.
And now in week four, you'llalso plan month two's
priorities.
Because in month two, we'regoing to move from foundations
to momentum.
And this is where a lot ofpeople stop.
They're like, well, this didn'twork, but I don't want you to be
(22:02):
most people.
The second month is aboutpushing through because this
initial excitement about, yeah, damn it, I'm gonna do this, I'm
gonna be the best version ofmyself, I'm gonna see this
through.
And this is where your systemsbecome your best friend because
when that excitement wears off, this becomes discipline.
And discipline is easier whenyou're not recreating the wheel
(22:23):
every day.
Okay, so first thing, you'regoing to create a weekly CEO
hour for yourself.
Every week, pick a day.
You're going to spend one hour, ideally on a Friday would be
nice, or Saturday morning.
You want the week to be over atthis point.
So every week you're going tospend one hour reviewing what
(22:44):
worked, guess what?
You're going to do more of that.
What didn't work?
Guess what?
You're going to stop doing that.
What did you learn?
Apply that.
You know, what would you dodifferently?
And then what's the plan fornext week?
Schedule it.
Put it on your calendar.
This one hour is going to keepyou from drifting.
It keeps you from falling backinto being reactive and it keeps
(23:05):
you strategic.
Now we need some accountabilitybecause you do need someone to
answer to.
And I don't mean that in like ashamey way.
I mean it like I said I wasgoing to do this and someone is
going to ask me if I did it kindof way.
We all need this.
So this could be a businesspartner that's checking in with
you, a mastermind group.
If you're part of the leadershipFacebook group, which is free to
(23:28):
join, get in there.
Let us be your accountabilitypartners.
Maybe you're a coach.
Ask your, I'm sorry, maybe youhave a coach, ask your coach to
hold you accountable.
Even if you just have a goodfriend that you trust that can
text you every Monday asking howyour progress is doing.
The specific person doesn'tmatter.
It's having someone thatmatters.
(23:50):
The next thing you're going todo in month two is you're going
to celebrate.
And this, a lot of people doskip this, but I'm promised this
is actually the one that makesthings sustainable.
So every single week in monthtwo, I want you to write down
three wins.
Now, let's define what a win isbecause these are not three
(24:10):
things you completed.
They're not three boxes that youchecked.
These are three things that youare proud of.
So maybe you had a reallydifficult conversation that
you've been avoiding doing.
Maybe you did say no tosomething that was not bringing
you closer to your goals.
Maybe you showed up and just putin the work on a day that you
(24:31):
really didn't feel like it,because that happens.
That's fine.
I want you to celebrate theeffort, not just the outcomes.
Because if we're onlycelebrating when we hit the big
goals, we are burning out beforewe get there.
We need to celebrate the smallwins along the way so that we
can build momentum that carriesus through those hard parts.
Okay, we're on month three.
(24:52):
Now this is the month to scale.
We have the foundations done.
Our momentum is carrying usthrough.
Now it's time to accelerate.
We want to scale these results.
So the first thing we're goingto do is look at what's working
and double down on it.
I know this sounds obvious, buta lot of people actually don't
do it.
So if your email campaigns areconverting, send more emails.
(25:13):
If your discovery calls areclosing, book more calls.
If your morning routine ischanging your life, protect it
with every ounce of your beingand make sure it happens every
single day.
Don't use this time to startchasing new strategies.
We're doubling down on what'salready working.
And then at day 60, I want to dolike a little gap analysis.
(25:34):
Look at where you are versuswhere you wanted to be.
If you're ahead of the game, great.
How can you leverage thatmomentum?
If you're behind, what needs tochange in the final 30 days?
Right?
We now have 30 days left.
So it's a good time to audit andsee what's going on.
This isn't about beatingyourself up.
We're just being honest andstrategic.
(25:56):
And then that year and vision,we can start thinking about
December 31st.
What do we want to say that weaccomplished?
Not what we wish we did.
But what are we actually goingto do in these final 30 days?
Get specific, get focused, andget it done.
Okay?
Now, there's one thing that canderail all of this if we don't
(26:21):
address it.
And I'm talking about the voicein your head that says, this
sounds great, but I don't havetime.
Or I'm so overwhelmed, I can'teven possibly add one more
thing.
Or I've tried all this before,it never works for me.
90 days isn't enough time.
Blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, yada, yada, yada.
That voice is a liar.
(26:42):
It is lying to you.
Let me be really clear aboutsomething.
You have the same exact 90 daysas everyone else.
The people who are going to hittheir goals, they're not doing
it because they have more timethan you.
They're doing it because theyare using their time better.
Right?
They are using their timedifferently than you are.
(27:02):
They're not busier, they're morestrategic.
They're not working more hours, they're just working on the
right things during those hours.
And they're certainly notsuperhuman.
They are systematic.
And the biggest lie that voicetells you is I don't have time.
You have time.
You have 90 days.
You're spending it on thingsthat don't matter.
(27:24):
And I'm going to prove it toyou.
Because you're going to do thischallenge over the next three
days where I want you to trackevery hour of your workday.
Every single hour.
Just of your workday.
I bet, I'm willing to bet, Idon't know what I'm willing to
bet, but I'm willing to bet, atleast five hours lost to
(27:46):
unnecessary meetings.
Okay, so that might be in aweek, not in three days, but
you're going to lose time tounnecessary meetings.
You're going to lose time, losetime to social media
masquerading as like our marketresearch.
And you're going to lose time toperfectionism on things that
don't matter.
There is enough time.
You do not have a time problem.
(28:08):
You have a priority problem.
And the only way to fix apriority problem is to get
really, really honest about whatmatters and then be ruthlessly
protective of your time.
There is, you know, I don'tthink you actually believe you
don't have time.
I think you're scared ofsomething else.
I think maybe you're scared thatyou're going to try really hard
(28:30):
for 90 days and you may stillfall short.
Because if you fail when you'rereally trying, what does that
say about you?
Some of you may even be scaredthat you'll actually succeed.
Because if you can prove you cando this, you'll have to keep
doing it.
You won't have the excuse of I'mjust not good at follow-through
anymore.
Or you won't have the excuse ofthat you're still in the
(28:52):
building phase.
We all know what that comfortzone is like.
Or maybe you're scared thatfocusing on these goals means
having to say no to otheropportunities.
And what if you do make thewrong choice?
Listen to me.
The only wrong choice is nochoice.
The only real failure is stayingstuck in the same place for
another 90 days because you weretoo scared to commit.
(29:16):
You do not need permission to goafter what you want.
You don't need to wait untilthings are less busy or until
they're less chaotic or lessuncertain.
Things will always be busy.
Chaos is a part of life.
Uncertainty is life.
You're waiting for perfectconditions that will never come.
(29:37):
You are allowed to prioritizeyourself.
You're allowed to focus on onething instead of everything.
You're allowed to say no to goodopportunities in service of
great ones.
You're allowed to want more andto go after it strategically.
You don't need anyone else'spermission for that.
But if you need to hear it, I amgiving you the permission now.
(30:00):
These 90 days are yours.
What are you going to do withthem?
Let's take 10 seconds of quiet.
And I want you to ask yourselfone question.
What is the one thing I need tohear right now to actually take
action?
(30:30):
What came up for you?
What was it?
Whatever came up for you, that'syour answer.
Trust it.
I want you to trust yourself, and I want you to use this 90
days to show yourself that youcan be trusted.
Okay, we are coming up on ourend here, but before we wrap up,
I want to give you an exactaction plan for this week
(30:53):
because, like we said,inspiration without
implementation is worthless.
Okay.
Get out a piece of paper, open anote on your phone, whatever's
easier for you.
Write these down.
My one professional goal for thenext 90 days is blank.
My one personal goal for thenext 90 days is blank.
(31:15):
Be specific.
This is not make more money.
If it's financial, it needs tobe have a number attached to it.
It's generate 60K in newrevenue, whatever that is.
Personal, it's not take bettercare of myself.
It's work out three times a weekor stick to Whole Foods,
whatever that looks like.
(31:36):
Specific goals are achievablegoals.
Okay, the next thing you'regoing to do is tell someone,
text one person right now.
Get in the Facebook group.
If you're not in the leadershipgroup, get in there right now.
Tell them your 90-day goals.
Ask them to check in with you inone week about your progress.
(31:57):
Accountability is just thedifference between good
intentions and actual results.
So this week, I want you tostart today, right?
So right now you're going tocomplete that brutal revenue
reality check, pull up thosenumbers and face them honestly.
Then you're going to block yourcalendar for the next 90 days.
Schedule your strategic worktime, your non-negotiables, your
(32:19):
weekly CEO hours.
If it's not on your calendar, itwon't happen.
Do your priority purge.
Look at everything on yourplate.
Cut everything not supportingyour 90-day goals.
Yes, it's uncomfortable.
Do it anyway.
Track those fires, the crisis, every interruption, every single
time there's an urgent thingthat pulls you away from
(32:40):
strategic work.
Just track it.
You're going to solve it nextweek.
Take your first CEO hour, reviewwhat worked this week, what
didn't, and what you learned.
Plan next week based on thatdata.
For this month, after you getstarted, then you're going to
build your first system in weektwo.
In week three, you're going toset up a dashboard to track your
(33:02):
goals.
And in week four, you're goingto review that first month and
make any adjustments that youneed.
You don't need fancy systems forthis.
You need simple, you needsustainable.
So here's what works fortracking, a simple spreadsheet,
even a notebook where you'rejust writing down your daily
targets.
Did you hit your goal today?
Check.
Did you do your morning routineor your evening routine?
(33:24):
Check.
That's it.
A simple, simple, simpleprocess.
For blocking time, use yourregular calendar.
You do not have to go buyanything special.
Color code it if it helps.
Maybe strategy is in blue, personal times in green, CEO in
yellow, pink, whatever works foryou.
Visual reminders help.
Accountability, text thread,right?
(33:46):
Who are you going to be texting?
A weekly call with someone, aFacebook group, your coach,
whatever actually works for yourlife.
Don't overcomplicate it.
The best system is always, always, always the one that you
will actually use.
And I want to leave you withthis.
90 days from now, you are goingto be somewhere.
(34:08):
The question is where?
You could be in exactly the sameplace you are right now,
wondering where another threemonths went, making the same
promises to yourself about nextyear.
Or you could be looking back atthe most focused, productive,
transformative 90 days you'vehad in years.
The difference between those twooutcomes, it's not luck, it's
(34:30):
not talent, it's not moreresources, it's not more time,
it's not support.
It is making a decision rightnow, today.
Are you going to be strategicwith these 90 days, or are you
going to let them slip away likethe last 270 days did?
Your business won't builditself, your goals won't achieve
(34:50):
themselves, and this year won'tgive you any do-overs.
You've got 90 days, 90 chancesto show up, 90 opportunities to
choose your future instead ofdefaulting to the past.
Let's make them count together.

next 90 days, I send a weeklystrategy email every single

that serves your life.
