It’s Tuesday, February 2nd 2010. Winter has taken a foothold in the small Woodwardville Community in the heart of Odenton, Maryland. It’s late in the evening when Margaret Ridgely and Michael Temple return to their home on Williamsburg Lane. The unsuspecting couple would have no reason to know that within minutes their whole world would be turned upside down.
It is now 2018 and Anne Arundel County Police Homicide detectives have exhausted every lead and resource at their disposal while investigating Michael Temple's murder. Their investigation has seemingly come to a standstill until detectives learn of an emerging technology in the forensic study of human genetics. It’s September 2008, and the fall equinox is knocking on the door of the small, tight-knit community of Brooklyn Park, Maryland. The silence of the early morning hour is shattered by the unmistakable sound of gunfire. The body of 25-year-old, Rudolph Turner Jr., lies motionless on his mother’s bedroom floor.
It’s July 2019 and the dog days of summer are in full swing. Families throughout Maryland are enjoying the best that the season has to offer. The Hill family has unwillingly become an exception to that idea. Their patriarch, 44-year-old David Hill, is missing.
It’s the end of another summer season and the start of a search for answers for the Morales family. It’s September, Labor Day weekend in 2021 in the heart of Pasadena, the sounds of crickets chirping and the hushed cityscape is shattered by screeching tires and broken glass. 52-year-old Mario Morales is dead
The leaves have already started to change at that time of the year, it’s the 13th of October 2018 at the Chesapeake Glen Apartments in Glen Burnie. She’s not in her apartment, her car is in the parking lot, she hasn’t been heard from, and her friends and family are concerned. 45-year-old Melanie Meleney is missing.
On November 18, 2019, officers responded to the Morris Hill Community on the
outskirts of Baltimore for a shooting. When officers arrived they found the victim, 28-
year-old Xavier Green, known by his family and friends as “X”, on the back porch of his
Morris Avenue home. Xavier had been fatally shot, he was pronounced dead at the
scene.
On January 28, 2011, at approximately 10:51 AM, officers responded to the parking lot of 7319 Ritchie Highway in Glen Burnie for a shooting. Upon arrival, officers located the victim, Myra Elizabeth Cason, inside her 1994 Suzuki Sidekick with gunshot wounds to her upper body. Ms. Cason was 63 years old and a retired Anne Arundel County School Teacher.
