In 1978 two teenage boys took a trip from their hometown Metamora in Michigan to the world's most famous beach, Daytona Beach in Florida never to be seen again.
This is the first of two parts of this story where we cover the investigation of the two boys and how it took a private investigator to get the ball rolling.
