to talk about some blessings on the day We're going to talk about blessings

Listen, I'm so glad to have you guys here I'm so glad to talk to you here We're
getting to this first teaching on today Hope you guys have enjoyed my previous two episodes.
With my lovely wife Who's happened to grace it,
guys I'm so glad that she was able to be here with me and talk
on um on on on two episodes

on on the last two all right guys
so let's get into it and let's talk about this thing on the
day and let's talk about some blessings
guys of blessings blessings blessings blessings in the
testimony of teaching that weave through the
scriptures blessings emerge as threads of divine grace and
favor bestowed upon humanity so let

us embark on an exploration of blessings through the
lens of scripture drawing upon passages that illuminate
the nature and the origin of these divine gifts at
the heart of understanding blessings we find the beauteous in the gospel of
matthew chapter 5 verses chapter verses 3 through 12 where jesus outlines the
conditions of being blessed these verses out highlight the blessings are not

merely Merely rewards for the righteous,
but comforts for those who endure hardship with a spirit of humility, love, and faith.
Blessed are the poor in spirit, for there is the kingdom of heaven.
Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted.

Here blessings are despicited as promises
of god's presence and kingdom for
those who embody spiritual poverty and mournfulness
another fact of blessing is
revealed in the old testament particularly in numbers
chapter 6 verses 24 through 26 when we found the era the the ironic blessings

the lord blessed you and keep you the lord make his face shine upon you and
be gracious to you the lord turn his face to towards you and give you peace.
This ascent vindication exemplifies the desire of God's protection,
grace and peace to rest upon his people.

(04:47):
It signifies that blessings are not only spiritual or material benefits,
but also a very presence of God's favor and peace in our lives.
Dives diving deeper into the concept of blessing
psalms 1 verse
1 through 3 offers a vivid picture of
of the righteous individual who delights

in the law of the lord blessed is
the one who does not walk and step
with the wicked or stand in the way in the
way that sinners take or sit in the
the company of mockers but who delights in
the law of the lord and who meditates on his law day and night this passage

teaches us that the blessings follow those who immerse themselves in god's word
and live according to his pray sets such individuals are like are liked.
Are linked to trees planted by streams of water yielding fruit in season in
a season a metaphor Therefore, for a life that is both grounded in faith and

flourishing in blessing.
In James chapter one, verse 17 shifts our gaze to the source of every good and perfect gift.
Every good and perfect gift from above coming down from the father of the heavenly
lights who does not change like shifting shadows.
Idols here blessings are attributed directly to

(06:14):
god immutable giver of
all that is good in our lives reminding us
of the divine origin of every blessing we receive in
weaving together these scriptural threads a portrait
of blessings emerge painted with the strokes of
divine favor grace and provisions blessings are
both a comfort to the afflicted and

(06:37):
a reward to the righteous they are of the manifestation of
God's presence in our lives and the good gifts he.
Generously bestows upon us through understanding
and appreciating the manifested nature of
blessings as spigoted in scripture we are invited to live
lives that seek and align with God's will and thereby opening ourselves to the

(06:59):
fullness of his blessings let's align ourselves with God on today let's align
Align ourselves with his word and with what he does.
Let's get in. Let's get in step with the spirit.
Let's get in step with the spirit right now.

(07:19):
Let's put away the things that are that are set to harm us, the things that
are set to come against us.
Let's let's no longer partake in the way of the world.
And let's do it. Let's do God's way.
So when we say align, what does that look like, right?
To align ourselves with the divine, with the divine will and the fullness of

(07:42):
blessings despicated in the scriptures, we embark on a journey of spiritual reflection, right?
So it's time for us to have some reflection, right? Reflection,
transformation, and commitment.
We just talked about commitment. This process involves several steps,
each drawing us closer to the harmonious existence with God's desires for our lives, guys.
First, we immerse ourselves in the teachings and the wisdom of Scripture,

(08:07):
dedicating time to read, meditate and pray over the word of God.
Like the blessed individual in Psalms one who delights in the law of the Lord
and meditates on it day and night.
We, too, should find joy in guidance in God's word, allowing it to shape our
thoughts and actions and decisions.
Let's get into our Bibles. Let's read our Bibles and let's try to understand

(08:28):
our Bibles. And then let's apply what we are reading in the Bible to our lives.
OK, secondly, we embody the posture of humility and openness to the Holy Spirit,
recognizing our need for divine guidance and correction.
The Beatitudes teach us the values of spiritual poverty, mourning the meekness
and pathways of experiencing God's kingdom and comfort.

(08:49):
In acknowledging our weaknesses and limitations, we become receptive to the
transformative work of the Holy Spirit in our lives. So, guys, being humble.
Right. It's important for us to be humble, even even,
you know, when God has bestowed upon us and blessed us so much,
has given us so much that we do not take up the spirit of pride in that moment

(09:11):
because we know that God has given and God can take us.
OK, fourth, we cultivate the spirit of gratitude, recognizing every good and
perfect gift as coming from the father, as highlighted in James chapter one, verse 17.
Gratitude reliance our hearts
with god's generosity prompting us to acknowledge his provision

(09:31):
and carrying our lives it also guards us against
taking god's blessings for granted and encourages us
us to use what we have received for
his glory god we thank you for for every time that
you've given us a blessing god god we thank you for every time
that you've given us a miracle oh god thank you god
finally we commit to a community of faith where we

(09:51):
can grow be held accountable and
practice the love and service the service commands by
christ the new testament emphasizes the importance of fellowship
among believers as a context for encouragement mutual
support and spiritual growth within this community we
learn to bear one another's burdens celebrate
each other's victories and to walk in unity of

(10:13):
spirit and purpose okay guys listen by
taking these steps we align ourselves more closely
with god's will making making our lives uh
fertile grounded for his blessings to
flourish as we walk this path we not only experience
the richness of god's grace and favor but also
become beacons of his light and love in a world that desperately needs it guys

(10:38):
listen god has blessings for you as a matter of fact god wants to bless you
but you gots to be in line you gots to be all the way in line guys you gots to be.
Ready to do the walk and to do the work on yourself okay it's no other way around
it you're not going to be able to beat it and even even even if you you think you can hit a shortcut,

(11:04):
i don't really encourage you not to do it right walk the path that god has given
you to walk right so that you can receive the blessings that god has for you
that god wants for you real fast i forgot to do it in the last episode so you're
going to get to this episode,

unto you that fear my name shall the
son of righteousness arise with healing in his
wings that's malachi chapter 4 verse 2

lord help me overcome my fears by filling my
mind with positive thoughts and my life with
positive actions okay so hope

it all rests on you it's all up to you it's
not up to nobody else nobody else can do it

it experience it for you you got to be able to do it for yourself you got to

people to talk to people to communicate with to talk about you know this thing
that we this walk this walk that we We have.
OK, because it's not it's not going to be a perfect walk. Sometimes you're going to stumble.
But the goal is to to to fix it, you know, to be as much like Christ as humanly possible.
