Hello listeners, and welcome back to the Cult next Door Podcast.
It is officially spooky season around these parts, as you
can tell if you're watching this on YouTube or Spotify,
and in the spirit of spooky scary things, I'll get
the scary news out of the way first. We're not
going to have a regular episode today. This is just
a teaser that you are listening to or watching right

now for next week's episode. So next week, Ashley and
I are going to do a Halloween scary stuff from
the churches that we were in kind of episodes. So
we'll look at some of the teachings from worldwide and
worldwide offshoots like the church that I grew up in,
Crusade Church. We'll look at some of their literature and

videos about what they thought about Halloween. Just spoiler our
alert very against it. It was very scary. It was
a portal to demons. Speaking of demons, we will also
talk about some demons and even not just ones that
you might know from the Bible or some other sort
of extra biblical texts and things, but from Crusade demons

like pretense and ones that might look like group things
like that. So we're just going to kind of do
an all encompassing kind of spooky episode, so keep an
