From The Daily Os.

Speaker 1 (00:09):
It's Friday, the thirteenth of June. Here's what's making headlines
this evening.

Speaker 2 (00:14):
The Israeli defense forces have today fired missiles at nuclear
and military facilities in Iran. Iranian state media reports the
leader of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, a military force
alongside its army, has been killed. It comes amid international
discussion about Iran's nuclear capabilities, including negotiations with the US
to limit its activities. Israel is now in a state

(00:37):
of emergency, with residents warn to prepare for retaliation over
the coming days. Iran has since launched a counter attack
on Israel, while leaders are calling for a restraint, fearing
it could spark a broader Middle Eastern conflict.

Speaker 1 (00:53):
Just one person has survived the crash of an Air
India flight bound for London's Gatwick Airport, which plummeted into
to a residential area shortly after take off from Ahmdabad.
The Boeing seven eight seven eight Dreamliner was carrying two
hundred and forty two people when it crashed less than
a minute into the flight. Local officials say many more

(01:14):
people have died in the impact zone. Although the exact
figure is not yet known, it's India's worst aviation disaster
since nineteen ninety six. Indian Prime Minister Nearendromodi called the
crash heartbreaking beyond words, saying quote in this sad hour,
my thoughts are with everyone affected.

Speaker 2 (01:34):
Prime Minister Anthony Alberzi has traveled to Fiji today to
meet with his Fijian counterpart and reinforce his government's specific priorities.
It begins a week long trip for Alberanesi, who will
also be traveling to the US and Canada for several
meetings with world leaders. In Canada, he will be attending
the G seven Summit, which is a group meeting of

(01:54):
seven of the world's largest advanced economies. Alberanzi told ABC
Radio earlier this year week that he plans to speak
with US President Donald Trump at the G seventh summit
about the relationship between Australia and the United States, including
the recent tariffs.

Speaker 1 (02:12):
And today's good news. Researchers have developed new sunscreen safety
protocols aimed at protecting coral reefs. More than eighty percent
of sunscreens contain chemicals that can be harmful to coral
and marine life. However, the University of Derby in England
has developed a new certification system to help consumers buy
ocean safe products. During testing for the Reef Protection Factor system,

(02:35):
research has verified one product called Coral Care, which contains
ingredients that help coral grow. The university said the sunscreen
not only avoids harming coral reefs, but actively nourishes them,
making it the first sunscreen of its kind.

Speaker 2 (02:51):
