Prime Minister Anthony Albanesi has condemned Israel for the quote
denial of aid and the killing of civilians, including children,
seeking access to water and food in Gaza. It comes
after a recent UN report that Israeli troops have killed
more than one thousand Palestinians trying to access food. In
a statement released by Albanesi earlier today, the PM described

the situation in Gaza as having quote gone beyond the
world's worst fears. Albanesi reiterated calls for a two state
solution and called on Israel to comply with its obligations
under international law. The Coalition criticized the PM's statement for
failing to quote place any blame on hamas a listed
terrorist organization for the delays in aid reaching the people

The UK and Australia have signed a new fifty year
treaty aimed at solidifying the Orcus Defense Pact. It follows
recent uncertainty over a US review into the Submarine Pact.
Announced by the Pentagon last month. Defense Minister Richard Miles
and Foreign Minister Pennywong have downplayed concerns, saying it's quote
natural for a new government to undertake such a review.

The ministers were in Sydney today for talks with their
British counterparts, with both countries agreeing to underpin ORCUS with
a new pact. Miles called the agreement quote as significant
a treaty as has been signed between our two countries
since federation. UK Foreign Secretary David Lammy praised the stability
of the UK Australia relationship, which he said, quote hold

US President Donald Trump has welcomed Australia's decision to lift
restrictions on American beef imports. Biosecurity laws have banned y
US companies from importing their beef to Australia due to
concerns about viral diseases in cows. These restrictions have caused
trade tensions with the US, with Trump specifically calling out
Australia during his Liberation Day tariff address. However, the government

has now walked back the ban following a quote rigorous assessment.
Agriculture Minister Julie Collins said, we are assured that the
supply chain and the traceability and the safety of any
food coming into Australia is safe. In opposed to truth
