A flat Sunday with a record of 2-2 for host Matt Perrault takes him to the end of the month of June. The Play of the Day is 18-10-1 but overall, June hasn't been great. Matt is looking to end June on a strong note for the Monday episode of the Daily Juice.

Speaker 1 (00:14):
What's up, guys? How are you happy? Monday?

Speaker 2 (00:16):

(00:38):
Sel If you ever have an audio issue, always go
over to YouTube search Betting Pros and you will find
the Daily Juice Podcast. Okay, we're gonna forget about last week.

Speaker 1 (00:47):
That was a losing week. We're gonna brush it aside.

Speaker 2 (00:51):
We've got a couple of days left here in the
month of June to see if potentially maybe I guess
we have one day, right, we have today left that
we could potentially, if we do well today, maybe come
up with kind of a flat month. I know we're
down for the month, but maybe maybe we get back
to even for the month, but probably not Yesterday kind

(01:14):
of a frustrating day for us. Tiger's run line gets there,
So remember the Tigers for Tuesday when they win. It's
been basically a month with them winning on the run line.
The play of the day was the Red Sox and
the Blue Jays over nine and a half that went down.
We have now gone eighteen ten and one in the

(01:34):
month of June for the Betting Pros Daily Juice Play
of the Day, and we went one on one on
the props under seven and a half k's for Spencer
Streyder came in, but we took a shot on a
plus money play on a RBI to be driven in
by a Blue Jay.

Speaker 1 (01:52):
It did not happen.

Speaker 2 (01:53):
George Springer did not deliver for us SO two and
two on the day, down point two units. Massive paper cut,
but not a winning day for us SO. Six consecutive
days where we have not won here today, so we
have been ice cold. If you faded yesterday, sorry you
didn't really do much for you. Kind of a flat
day either way when we go to and two. So

(02:13):
we're going to go right back to it here when
it comes to the place, I'm gonna give you two
baseball plays here on a Monday, and I'm gonna put
two Major League Baseball player props on the Betting Pros
app once again.

Speaker 1 (02:25):
You're going to go and search at Sports Talk.

Speaker 2 (02:27):
Maatt on the app, or go to bettingpros dot Com
Slash Sports Talk Matt and you will find the plays. Hopefully,
you guys found those props yesterday, you'll find them today
Here on a Monday for Major League Baseball. This is
the month of June, July, Monday, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays.

Speaker 1 (02:45):
There's just not a lot to better Hoficiites baseball, So
buckle up, boys and girls. This is kind of where
we are.

Speaker 2 (02:51):
Yes, there very well could be a futures podcast coming
up this week as I'm going to be traveling, so
they're very well maybe a podcast based on futures either
Major League Baseball, some awards things we may jump involved
with here, so stay tuned for that. But for the
most part, we'll have daily picks on Major League Baseball.
It has not been a good month or a leads

(03:11):
last couple of weeks for baseball, but the whole idea
is try to mitigate the losses as we get packed
to August in September, as we roll into football. It's amazing,
but we are only two months away from football preseason.
Football gets going here in about four weeks with the
Hall of Fame game, so we're not far. Okay, we
just got to get through the next couple of weeks

(03:33):
and we get to baseball.

Speaker 1 (03:34):
Sorry, to get to football after baseball.

Speaker 2 (03:37):
Before we give you guys the two plays for today
on the podcast, let's talk about the Daily Juice app.
Have you downloaded this?

Speaker 1 (03:46):
Now?

Speaker 2 (03:47):

have the Betting Pros tools that are available, the betting
systems which are available. They let you customize your betting
systems by sport, bet type, and time. I'm frame to
find the best opportunities using real time data and expert analysis,

the Betting Pros app today or go to Bettingpros dot
com slash systems to learn more and elevate your betting
strategy and to start making smarter bets. Download the Betting
Pros app Android and Apple stores at the moment. Now
for that, okay, let's start talking about one total and

(04:34):
then we'll get to one run line bet that I
want to get into here for today, it is a
smaller schedule, okay, So whenever we're talking about a smaller
schedule for Major League Baseball, we got to be a
little bit more selective because we don't have as wide
of a menu to go and jump in here on
a Monday like San Diego's at Philadelphia, New York Is

(04:55):
at Toronto. I don't mind the over there, but my gosh,
Yankees went over. You gotta watch that because I think
they may have busted out of their slump. First time
since June eleventh we saw a game for the Yankees
go over was yesterday. They scored ten runs themselves against
the A's, So I leaned towards the Toronto Blue Jays,
who scored five yesterday against the Red Sox. But that

(05:17):
game was trending directly to go over, and the breaks
got thrown on on both teams and a five to
three win for Toronto. So while I leaned towards the over,
with Max Scherzer on the mound in Carlos Rondon at
eight and a half, I could easily see this game
go under. So much like yesterday when I told you
you know, the under was the trend play, but I

(05:38):
wasn't betting it. Same thing here with the Yankees in Toronto,
the over would be the trend play here with Toronto
overs and the Yankees scoring a ton of runs twelve
of them yesterday winning twelve five over the A's.

Speaker 1 (05:51):
But I got to see it.

Speaker 2 (05:52):
I'm gonna wait and watch to see how Toronto and
the Yankees get together. Maybe it's a good player prop
game for us to be in too. We'll see how
the prop betchy sheet handles that coming up for tomorrow.
But instead, let's look at the Cardinals and the Pirates.
This is wild. Have you guys been seeing what the
Pirates are doing. The Pirates whipped the Mets, and I

(06:14):
mean whipped the Mets to the point where the Mets
had to go and have a team meeting before the
game yesterday and they lost twelve to one. I mean,
great team meeting, guys, O'Neil Cruz homer twice, nine, nine, two,
twelve to one. The Pirates didn't just beat the Mets,

(06:35):
they embarrassed the Mets nine to nine to twelve runs
scored for a Pirates offense.

Speaker 1 (06:41):
That's bad.

Speaker 2 (06:43):
So here are the Cardinals coming in and Eric Fetti
going Now. The Cardinals are equally coming off of a
three game sweep of the Guardians on the road. They
scored five, nine and seven themselves five nothing, nine to
six and seven nothing. Two of the three games were

(07:03):
shutouts of the Guardians. Now that's good pitching for the Cardinals.
But with Eric Fetti going on the mound here with
a three and seven record and a four point one
to one ERA. Eric Fetti on the road this year
has been better, but he's one in four ERA of three,
posting batting average of two, twenty seventeen earned runs and

(07:23):
fifty one innings worth.

Speaker 1 (07:24):
Of work for Eric Fetti.

Speaker 2 (07:26):
But you look at the game logs for him, and
I mean last time out against the Cubs seven earned runs.
He gave up one in three on the road to
the White Sox and the Brewers, but gave up two
to Texas and three to the Blue Jays, sorry to
the Orioles in an eight to one, in five to
two loss. He's gone win loss, win, loss, win loss.

(07:49):
For the whole month of June, He's two wins, three losses.
So this will be a win. You want to go
by this by the trend here, this would make a
win for the Cardinals today. However, on the other side
is Andrew Heeney going and he's been on paper he
was good early, but late it's not been good. Seven

(08:10):
earned against Milwaukee, seven earned against Detroit, three earned against
the Cubs, but all three of those games were on
the road. His last home start with six innings, one
earned run and a two to one win over the Phillies.
But the problem with that is that was a long
time ago. That was on the seventh of June. This
number is juiced to the over eight and a half.

(08:30):
And I'm gonna bet the over. The bats are hot
for the Pirates and the bats are hot for the Cardinals,
and neither pitcher really scares.

Speaker 1 (08:38):
Me all that much.

Speaker 2 (08:39):
Neither pitching makes me go, oh yeah, this guy's gonna
come out here and just absolutely shut down the opponent.

Speaker 1 (08:45):
I think we get offense on both sides. Again.

Speaker 2 (08:48):
The Cardinals five nothing, nine to six, seven nothing their
final scores. They pitched really well, but the Guardians couldn't score.
The Pirates just whipped the Mets all three of their games,
going over. Two of the three games where the Guardians
and the Cardinals went over. Let's just ride the offensive
train here. Over eight and a half for the Cardinals

(09:08):
and the Pirates. By the way, if you want to
talk about history, We had shutouts last night, three nothings
shut out in Detroit, a two nothing shut out Houston
of the Cubs, and a seven nothing shut out of
Saint Louis against the Cardinals. That made it three or
more shutouts in five consecutive days in Major League Baseball.

(09:32):
That has never happened. That is a record. So how
many shutouts do we get today? Just got to find
the games that will have shutouts because if you can
find that, bet the under and you're gonna.

Speaker 1 (09:42):
Be sitting pretty.

Speaker 2 (09:43):
But five straight days where Major League Baseball saw games,
three of them with shutouts. Don't know what's going on
right now in Major League Baseball. It's a wonky time.
Let's go to the Red Sox. It's Garrett Crochet day,
the same way that we were riding yesterday with the
Tigers and schoobl The second best pitcher in the American

(10:06):
League is Garrett Crochet. Krochet has been absolutely dominant for
the Boston Red Sox at home and on the road.
Crochet is seven and four with a two point zero
six ERA, but the lefty at home has been absolutely solid.
Now Crochet has had seven or more strikeouts in each

(10:28):
of his last four starts at home. He has a
two point nine to seven ERA at Fenway Park, and
in his last start with the Yankees, he went all
the way to the ninth inning and he gave up
that solo shot to Aaron Judge. But at home a
two point one to three ERA. He does not have
a win yet. He's zero and three. I think that
ends here tonight. Now, he's only pitched one time at

(10:51):
home in the month of June, and that was eight
and a third, four hits, one earned run, just that
home run.

Speaker 1 (10:58):
That's it.

Speaker 2 (10:58):
He had seven ks in that game. In the month
of June, Garrett Crochet has had ten k's, eight ks,
seven k's, nine k's, and twelve ks. If Garrett Croche
goes and does what he is capable of doing against
a reds lineup that is prone to strike out, the
Red Sox should win this game going away. Now, he's
going up against a rookie that could very well win

(11:21):
the Rookie of the Year just depends upon what he
looks like. For Chase Burns, he has been a highly
touted prospect. However, Chase Burns came in and struck out
five in a row to start his career. Against the Yankees,
but he gave up three earned runs eight k's overall,
three earn runs on six hits in five innings.

Speaker 1 (11:43):
They won the game six to five.

Speaker 2 (11:45):
The Red Sox offense, look, when they face rookies at
Fenway Park, you gotta learn how to pitch to Fenway Park.

Speaker 1 (11:51):
It's not easy.

Speaker 2 (11:52):
You can leave balls up in different places. You can
get hit pretty hard. The Red Sox offense has been
relatively de since even though they got you know, they
haven't been great overall. A bray you at four US
four RBIs last yesterday. Rafaela has been decent. Trevor Story's
playing some of the best baseball he's played in a while.
For the Red Sox. They scored fifteen runs against Toronto

(12:14):
two games ago, and the offense could have gone and
scored more. They just couldn't get the big hit yesterday
against Toronto or against a bullpen for Toronto.

Speaker 1 (12:22):
The Reds look, Eli Deda Cruz is tremendous. He's tremendous,
but their offense it's so feast or famine. For the Reds.

Speaker 2 (12:29):
They could score one hundred or nothing, and against Garrett
Crochet I would lean towards the nothing I get plus
money on the Red Sox on the run line.

Speaker 1 (12:38):
I know it's at home. It's the same bet that
I made yesterday.

Speaker 2 (12:40):
It's not smart to bet the run line at home,
but Red Sox on the run lines plus money plus
one ten Red Sox Garrett Crochet, We're gonna back them
here at home. Cardinals pirates over eight and a half
at minus one fifteen and the Red Sox on the
run line up against the Reds at plus one ten
for one unit in one point one five units. The

(13:02):
two Major League Baseball player props will be put up
about the same time I put up yesterday, somewhere around
you know, noon Eastern time. You will get the two
Major League Baseball player props that I'm going to bet
from the prop bit cheat sheet. Go and search at
sports Talk Matt on the Betting Pros app and also

(13:24):
picks and get the plays for today's Major League Baseball
player props.
