morning episode of the Daily Juice podcast with me Matt
Perult at Sports Talk Matt, are the socials? The handles
to follow me coming up here across all of my socials,
And well, we're going to keep the backwards hat three
straight days. I think it's the first time I've worn
a backwards hat for three straight days. But when you're

(00:35):
five and two over the last two days, okay, we're
gonna take it. Red Sox Braves under play of the
day that cashed Padres and the Mets. Well, the Padres
rallied ooh boy, down four too, four runs in the eighth.
They win the game six to four. They win, Mets win.
They need a bit of a rally too, I believe.
And the Aces win easily, although we got a little

(00:56):
dicey at the end there. The Aces win and cover.
So it's a three and oh day up three point
one units winning week if you count. Like So that's
June first, right, So that's the start of the month.
So I was gonna say that was no, it didn't
come to May, so May still was flat. That was
June first, because June second, Sorry, getting my day is confused,

(01:17):
but good start to the month. Up three point one
units on the month for June one day in and
so we're gonna leave the hat backwards coming up here
for that. Three plays all in baseball, Okay, buckle up.
No WNBA none, no games till tomorrow, No hockey till Wednesday,

(01:39):
No NBA basketball till Thursday. I guess we should be
thankful we have baseball to bet on. If you want

(02:46):
dot Com Slash Playoffs. That's bettingpros dot Com Slash Playoffs.
All right, we hit with the Red Sox yesterday, and
let's we hit the under with the Red Sox. They're
now at home up against the Angels. Richard Fits. That's
a really unfortunate nickname. Do the math. If you know
don't know what I'm talking about, do the nickname. Richard

(03:08):
Fitz hoo boy. Richard Fitz has a four point five
ERA at Fenway, oh in one record. He pitched one time,
six innings, three earned runs. It's not awful. It's a
small sample size, but they're coming back. The Red Sox
have lost every game this guy has pitched so far
this year three to two loss, six to two loss,
three to two loss, five to one loss. Fitch is

(03:32):
going up against Tyler Anderson. Tyler Anderson, well on the road,
has a four point seven to eight ERA. He's one
in oher in twenty six and one third innings worth
of work, fourteen earned runs, six home runs given up
on the road in twenty six and a third innings
worth of work opposing betting average of two forty five.
That's not good. They lost the last start to the Yankees,

(03:55):
where he only gave up one earned run. It was
a three to two loss. But his road starts five
earned on the road at the Athletics, four earned on
the road at the Dodgers, two earned on the road
at the Seattle Mariners, nine to three loss, eleven to
nine win, ten to five win. I think this game

(04:17):
could go over. I think the Red Sox might lose
this game to the Angels. They beat the Braves yesterday,
taking two of three from Atlanta, which was extremely needed
for the Red Sox given what they have been looking
like over the last two weeks. Huge hit by Trevor Story,
but it was all in the first inning. They scored

(04:39):
three runs on a basis loaded double triple yea double
by Trevor Story. That was all the runs they needed
for Garrett Crochet, who struck out twelve Braves in seven innings,
and the bullpen actually did their job. A little hairy there,
but they did their job. We bet the under. The
under came in on the flip side. I'm betting the over,

(05:02):
but not for the game, rather the first five. I'm
gonna start to ride this Red Sox trend of being
one of the best offenses in the first three innings,
but they're not doing anything the rest of the way.
It's amazing. Red Sox mashed the baseball in the first, second,
and third innings. After that not so good. Total was

(05:23):
five in the first inning, the little juicy at minus
one twenty five. But push potential. Let's lay it Red
Sox angels first five over five at minus one twenty five.
Second bet. Let's talk about the A's at home here

(05:44):
today after losing to the Toronto Blue Jays, I bet
the run line yesterday. I had a crazy day yesterday.
I went six to h yesterday. I hit everything like
yesterday was like a dream. I hit the WNBA play.
I hit five bets in baseball, including betting the Toronto
Blue Jays on the run line. We got burned. I
just came back and betted again eight four that game.

(06:06):
We should not have I should not have cashed that.
The Blue Jays scored six runs in the eighth inning.
They were losing four to two. They scored six runs,
or I guess there was three to three to two.
They were losing, and then they gave up one in
the eighth it was four to two, and then they scored
six runs and won the game eight to four. Oh my,
But in the series against the Blue Jays, the A's

(06:28):
gave up twelve, eleven, eight and eight. Now, you could
say that's Toronto being at home and there are a
much better team at home hitting the baseball than on
the road. There's a lot of truth to that, but
the A's are still one of the most prolific over
teams at home in Major League Baseball. The A's go
over sixty four percent of the time at home. Eighteen

(06:49):
out of twenty eight games have gone over for Sacramento.
On the flip side, the Twins don't score all that much.
In fact, the Twins on the road are one of
the worst over teams in all of Major League Baseball.
They're one of the best under teams on the road
in Major League Baseball. They're eighteen eleven and three to

(07:10):
the under. That's sixty two percent of the time to
the under. So why am I betting over? I'm betting
over because Luis Severno is pitching in this game here
for the Oakland A's or the Sacramento As. Luis Severno
at home so far has a six point two ERA
zero to four. He's given up twenty eight earned runs

(07:32):
in forty and two thirds innings worth of work, posing
batting average of two seventy four. He's given up four
home runs. Like I mentioned, twenty eight earned runs in
forty and two thirds innings worth of work. That is awful.
That is awful for Luis seve Reno. Joe Ryan, though,
he's been okay on the road two point three one

(07:55):
ERA three and one record nine earned and thirty five
innings worth of work and pouting average of two to
oh five. But he has had some decent starts on
the road lately. Tampa Bay score a one urned run,
six to nothing win over Tampa against a three to
nothing win over Milwaukee. He went six gives zero arn

(08:17):
runs against the Red Sox. He lost the game six
to one. He gave up one, but the Red Sox
scored six runs on him. I just think with the
way the A's are pitching, They're a gas can for everyone,
and I do think that given Severnno, I think the
Twins are good to score four to five themselves. I
think the A's are good to score four to five themselves.

(08:39):
I'm gonna play the over nine. It's a little bit
risky with the Twins. But again, the A's are such
an overt team. Their bullpen is taxed after what just
happened in Toronto with how many runs they gave up
over that four game period. They come back home against
a Twins team that can hit. Nah, we're going over
over nine for one point one? Well, what's that one

(09:01):
point eight? One point one to eight units for that?
And then I have to have a two leg money
line parlay. I'm addicted to it, just when I need
to find plays. The Rockies are awful, as we know,
and when they're on the road, we're going to just
constantly fade them, because how can we not. The Rockies
have three wins. They're three and twenty eight on the road.

(09:23):
That is absolutely insane. Miami is fourteen and seventeen at home.
I'll give you that to you. But with Marquez on
the mound, we have to bet on them. On the
Miami Marlins, Marquez is zero to four with a nine
point four to two ERA three forty six opposing batting
average three forty six opposing batting average, four home runs,

(09:44):
given up, thirty earned runs in twenty eight and two
third innings worth of work. He's given up more earned
runs here on the road than he has given up
or he has pitched innings so far this year. That
is und Now it's Max Meyer, and I'm not saying
Max Meyer is unbelievable, but he's got a three point

(10:07):
four eight e RA A at home two win one record,
posting abouting average of two sixty three thirteen earned in
thirty three and two thirds innings worth of work. He
has lost three of his last four starts. That's not
good at home though, two to one loss to Chicago,
a nine to four win over Tampa, and a nine
to six win over the A's in his last three

(10:29):
starts at home. We're taking the Marlins to beat the
worst team in baseball in the Colorado Rockies with marqueads
on the mound, and we're gonna go ahead, and we're
gonna pair that up because we need a dance partner
to jump in here, and with a limited Monday schedule,
it's kind of slim pickings here. But we're gonna come
in and take the Tigers. I know the last time

(10:51):
we took the Tigers it didn't work out all that
well for us, but that was a one nothing loss
to the Royals, and now we really have a clear
understanding that when it comes down to the kryptonite for
the Tigers, well, no good. When the Tigers are up
against a really good pitcher or a gainst their best
pitcher in schoolble throwing against them. But they're on the

(11:12):
road against the White Sox who are twelve and fifteen
at home. Okay, they have eighteen wins. They have twelve
of them at home. I'll give you that. But it's
Jack Flaherty who is pitching here. Jack Flaherty on the
road hasn't been great. It's time for him to get
going here, he said a five point zero six era.
He's one in three in twenty six and two thirds's
worth of work, given up fifteen earned runs. That is

(11:35):
not good. But he won his last start on the
road five to four against Toronto. Gave up two earned
in five and two thirds innings worth of work. Just
talked about how good Toronto is hitting the baseball at home,
lost to the Angels, lost to the Astros, lost to
the Braves of the Brewers, rather in his three previous starts,
lost to the Dodgers. This guy needs to get going here.

(11:56):
Jack Flaherity was expected to be one of the nice
new additions here for this rotation is supposed to be
much better than what he has been, and what better
way to do it. It's against the Chicago White Sox,
who are going up against Jonathan Cannon, who is great
so far at home one point one seven ERA, one
to no record, fifteen to a thirty innings worth of
work two sixty seven imposing matting average. But the team

(12:19):
doesn't win when he pitches six to four loss to
the Mets, six to two, loss to the Cubs six
uh they five to one win and ten over Cincinnati.
It was a bullpen two to one loss to the Royals,
a seven to three win at home against Houston, a
ten to three win over the A's on the road,
and then all losses in the other five games, straight

(12:42):
losses four to two, three one sixty one seven four
one nothing. I'm taking the Tigers. It might burn me.
I'm taking the Tigers. Call it a gut feeling, whatever
you want to call it. Fading the White Sox, fading
the Rockies, just going to keep on doing what we
are doing here today and or baseball. All right, so
good day yesterday, Let's continue it hopefully today, Red Sox

(13:06):
Angels first five. That should say that should say first
five over five, Sorry I left that off. Red Sox
Angels first five. And that's kind of funny. So we
get to see who listens to the podcast and who
actually just watches and fast forwards here. That's a typo
first five over Red Sox Angels, A's twins over nine
for the game MS one eighteen and Tigers Marlins Monday

(13:28):
line parlay at plus one twenty three for one unit.
