Speaker 1 (00:14):
What's up, guys, How are you happy? Saturday?

Speaker 2 (00:16):
Welcome in to another episode of the Daily Juice podcast.
My name is Matt Perelt. You guys can follow me
across all of my socials at Sports doc.

Speaker 1 (00:23):
Met and we are back after well.

Speaker 2 (00:25):
I don't know how we did yesterday because frankly, it
is nine o'clock on the East Coast and I am
not going to stay up for the Giants game. That
money line play was the play of the day though,
so I don't know how the betting Brough's play the
day went, and I don't know if we had a
winning day or not. Because we did get the over
correct for the Cardinals and the Cubs over nine and

(00:45):
a half. I did not get the prop right. Well,
actually I don't know about the prop yet, so we
gotta wait and see how that plays out.

Speaker 1 (00:53):
But I don't believe you know, no, that missed.

Speaker 2 (00:55):
So that's a quarter unit there down, so that should
be we're down a little more than that. We were
a quarter unit down, so we're still up for the day.
But if the Giants money line comes in, we win.
If the Giants lose, it's a losing day because of
the quarter unit we missed on.

Speaker 1 (01:09):
That I did want to bet.

Speaker 2 (01:11):
I'm mad at myself because I had PCA to hit
a home run and then I deleted it. So Flores
was the other one, and I forget what the other side,
but that one missed from a home run. Oh Buxton
for the Twins, I had him to hit home run.
So that home run fourth of July home run parlay
missed for a quarter unit. But the Cubs Cardinals goes
over Giants.

Speaker 1 (01:31):
We don't know.

Speaker 2 (01:32):
Props go one in one on the day, and that
parlay missed at a quarter unit. But I had I
thought PCA would go deep and PCA hit hit two
home runs. I mean, the Cubs and the Cardinals were ridiculous.
That game should have flown over. It went over, but
it should have flown over given the number home runs
that the Cubs hit in that game. So I'm gonna
keep rolling today with kind of what I've done all week.
I've got two bets for US, one total, one side,

(01:55):
and then two player of props that will appear on
the Betting pros app I'll tell you how to get
that here just one second if you don't remember, but
I want to take one quick second to answer a
couple of people's questions.

Speaker 1 (02:05):
You guys have.

Speaker 2 (02:05):
Been tagging me and asking me and dming me to
comment and give you my opinion on the gambling bill
or the gambling provision in Donald Trump's new overall budget proposal.
And this is about the ninety percent winnings. This is
not the podcast to get into that, Okay. It very

(02:27):
well could be the focus of August Sharp's report. Okay,
so stick around for that. I think we'll get into
that topic in August. Once at all, once the dust
settles and all of the armchaired tax experts on gambling
Twitter can calm down, I think we'll have a more
reasoned conversation and a more level headed conversation to be

(02:51):
had about this and just how many people in America
is this going to affect? And why is the entire
gambling world losing its mind? And why was the bill
put in? Why was the provision put into the bill?
I should say, And we saw a lot of people
fight back, a lot of politicians, Nevada politicians. Frankly, we're
very against it and we're very angry about that provision

(03:15):
being in there. So how does it impact the onshore business?
Versus offshore business and professionals in America, and so we'll
cover that coming up in August during the Sharps Report,
but I'm not going to cover it here, so I
don't have a lot to say about it at the moment.
I'll probably say more about it during my other show,
The Bostonian Versus the Book next week, but as of

(03:38):
right now, I don't have a comment. As of right now,
I don't have a solid opinion on it, and I
will form one eventually, but right now, I feel like
there's a lot of people who are talking in a
way that they are sounding like they know what they're
talking about, and I'm not exactly sure they really do
know what they're talking about when it comes to tax
law and tax the tax code overall. So I know

(04:01):
people are saying it's pretty simple. The tax code is
never simple. It's never really what it what it looks
like to the layman. There's always loopholes, there's always different
things to get into. So just for those asking, that's
why I haven't commented, and I'm not going to, at
least not here on the Daily Juice podcast. Let's talk
about our friends at Novig for just one second. Because

(04:22):
they have an offer for you, guys that you can
take advantage of right now with the code daily Juice.

bettingpros dot com slash juice. That's bettingpros dot com slash
use to take advantage of the offer from our friends
at No Vague. Okay, let's start with the Red Sox

(05:06):
and what they did yesterday against Washington. Eleven to two.
Red Sox mashed yesterday. Now Red Sox have won three
out of four. Trevor Story had four hits. Red Sox
pounded Nationals pitchers. Same two teams go at it here
today with Walker Bueller on the mound against Mitchell Parker.
Here's an interesting stat for the Boston Red Sox. They

(05:28):
are number three in Baseball for RBIs against left handed
pitching this season one hundred and twenty nine.

Speaker 1 (05:36):
They're tied with the Tigers.

Speaker 2 (05:38):
Only the Yankees have more RBIs against left handed pitching
this season, a one to thirty one for one hundred
and thirty one Red Sox and the Tigers one hundred
and twenty nine. Red Sox are betting two sixty nine
this year up against lefties, Tigers are betting two seventy two.
Tigers have the best RBI or have the best average

(06:00):
against lefties. The Red Sox have the number two best
average as a team against left handed Who's going today well?
Mitchell Parker is going today the lefty for the Washington
Nationals at home. He has a three point seven to
eight ERA, with a four and four record an opposing
batting average of two fifty seven. He's given up twenty
one earned runs in fifty innings worth of work for

(06:22):
Mitchell Parker seven four, ten, six three one eleven nine
for the last four games in which he has started,
and he's gone five six, six and three in a third.
Is given up three three one in six earned runs.
So not not great for Mitchell Parker here in terms

(06:43):
of what he has done recently. Pitching wise. For a
Red Sox perspective, Walker Buehler is an absolute gas can
four five, eight, three and five earned runs in his
five starts in the month of June.

Speaker 1 (06:57):
Horrible Red Sox.

Speaker 2 (06:58):
They lost four of those five games started by Walker Buehler,
final scores of five to three, nine to five, eight nothing,
four to three, and nine to six. The total for
this game is nine and a half. And look, the
Red Sox scored eleven yesterday by themselves. I don't know

(07:19):
if they'll score eleven here today. But Walker Bueller is
going to get hit. Walker Buehler is going to give
up runs today. He's just I mean, his era is
six point four five and the Red Sox have no
choice but to keep running him out there, and eventually
he's going to give up runs. I mean, the Red
Sox now are only asking him to go four innings.

(07:40):
He's gone four or the least three starts have been
three and a third four and four innings worth of work,
eight five and four earned runs. So in those not
in those nine and a third innings worth of work,
Walker Buehler has given up seventeen earned runs. Like he
is not imj league Baggs well pitcher. He's just not

(08:03):
Red Sox Nationals over over nine and a half here
today between these two Red Sox probably win Red Sox score.

Speaker 1 (08:12):
I like a team total for the Red Sox over too.

Speaker 2 (08:15):
I like that, but I'm just gonna play the game
over because Walker Bureer I think gets hit pretty good
here today by Nationals bats over nine and a half
at minus one twenty two. Second bet for us here today,
We're gonna go and take a look at those Tigers.

Speaker 1 (08:29):
Why well, they're.

Speaker 2 (08:30):
Playing on Fox against Cleveland on the road against Logan Allen,
left handed pitching pitcher. We told you about what the
Tigers have done against lefties this year, number one average
against lefties at two seventy two, number two in RBIs
with one hundred and twenty nine, and they're facing a

(08:51):
lefty in Logan Allen, who hasn't been great at home
for He has a four to thirty one ERA, a
three and four record, a two six six posing batting average,
nineteen earned runs, and thirty nine and two third innings
worth of work. In his last start at home against
Saint Louis three innings sorry, six innings, three earn runs,

(09:13):
against Toronto five and two thirds, three earned runs. Both
those games were losses for Logan Allen at home for
the Cleveland Guardians. On the flip side, the Tigers turn
around and throw Casey miz who's eight and two with
a two point eight six ERA overall, little higher on
the road three point five e ARRA on the road

(09:34):
three and two record, opposing batting average a little bit
higher than I would have liked at two seventy five,
but seventeen earn runs and forty two and two third
innings worth of work on the road last time out
against Tampa Bay in a nine to three win, five innings,
one earned run against the Orioles two starts ago on
the road five and a third, just two earned runs,

(09:56):
but the bullpen got lit up, lost the game ten
to one, one four and two thirds of innings against
the White Sox on the road and a three to
two loss in extra innings, but only two earned runs
given up there. So last three road starts have been
very good. The team has won overall the last three
games started by Casey Mice and the price isn't bad

(10:19):
here left hander. With the Tigers' ability to match lefties,
Casey mice on the on the bump. If they score
four runs, they're most likely going to win this game.
The money line price isn't that bad about you know,
a dollar thirty or so for the money line here
with the Tigers. I'm gonna bet the Tigers. Give me
the Tigers on the money line to beat the Guardians here.

(10:41):
And the Tigers are a team that losing back to
back games to the Nationals now having an off day yesterday,
have a chance to play here today or I guess sorry,
they're playing right now, excuse me to play the Guardians
right now. It's two to one Detroit through six, so
they are playing note off days. They're playing today, but
a chance to snap the two game losing here up
to one on the Guardians, I think they bounce back

(11:03):
here with Casey Maiz on the on the mound here
they're Cleveland, by the way, leads the season series three
games to one. So if the Tigers win tonight currently
going on, I think they win tomorrow, even up the
season series at three at three games a piece between
Detroit and Cleveland. Here Detroit trying to win their twenty
fifth game on the road this year. Cleveland trying to
win their twenty first game. Move over five hundred. They're

(11:24):
twenty and twenty at home so far. Detroit Cleveland money
line Tigers at minus one thirty two. All right, So
the two Major League Baseball player props that you can
go ahead and jump in with it, they're gonna be
on the Betting Pros app. I'm going one in one
like every day and I'm trying not to, so hopefully

(11:44):
we're do a two and oh day at some point.
I mean it's been one in one, one and one,
one and one. We're only betting to win a half
a unit. Okay, don't bet full units of this toty
guys this before. We're not betting full units half unit plays.
But to find the player props, you're going to go
to the Betting Pros app in the App store or
Android Google play Store. Download it's free. Then go and

(12:05):
search at sports Talk Matt or go to bettingpros dot
com slash Matt, and you will see the player props
right there on my bio.

Speaker 3 (12:14):
You will see the two plays that I make each.

Speaker 1 (12:16):
And every day.

Speaker 2 (12:17):
We wait for the lineups to be announced and then
we jump in and play it.

Speaker 1 (12:21):
So so far.

Speaker 2 (12:22):
It's been an interesting experiment. I like figuring this out.
This is we're not betting full unit, so we're not
committing a ton to this. We're just betting one unit
a day, trying to find our.

Speaker 1 (12:32):
Way through it.

Speaker 2 (12:33):
We are now four and I think we're four and
seven on this on the week. I think that's right.
They were four and seven so far on this. So
it happened before like this with the NBA player props.
We have to kind of find our niche. We have
to find our way, what works, what doesn't, What to
punch into the prop betcheat sheet in order to find

(12:54):
the right formula to find the most value in the
best wins, the most likely wins. And we did that
for the NBA, and we went, you know, sixty eight
and thirty eight whatever we did last year in the
in the in the NBA, it took us a while
to figure it out. Same thing's going on here from
Major League Baseball. So we'll get it right. We're figuring
it out. We'll find the formula that works. But one
in one's not horrible. It's not great. It's losing, obviously

(13:16):
because I'm the juice, but it's not horrible. So we'll
keep rolling keep at it here today. Two more player
props coming up later on today. My name is Matt
parolog You guys and follow A Miercles all my socials
at Sports Talk Matt every morning wherever you guys get
your podcasts.
