Speaker 1 (00:14):
Once up, guys, how are you happy? Sunday?

Speaker 2 (00:16):
Welcome in to another episode of the Daily Juice Podcast
with me Matt Perrelt. You guys can follow me across
all of my socials at Sports Talk. Matt and I
am freshly back from UFC three seventeen at Temobile Arena
in Las Vegas. And yeah, so there's losing and then
there's losing. Both stink, But I'm not that angry about

(00:40):
what happened last night. I hate losing baseball because baseball
is just pure frustration. I don't really mind what happened
last night. It stinks to lose. Okay, being down one
point two five units is not great, But for the
entire week, we're down three point five units. Now, I've
lost more than that in a single day before, so

(01:04):
it's just been kind of a week of paper cuts.
It's five straight losing days. I'm not gonna I'm gonna
full transparency. You guys know what we do here. I
tell you the truth. Everything that I do, I bet,
I play, we track it good bad, whatever.

Speaker 1 (01:17):
These are the bad weeks. These are the weeks.

Speaker 2 (01:20):
I always remind you, guys, whenever you're talking about how
hot the podcast is or how great the podcast is.
I'm always like, eh, remember June and July, these are
fade months for me. Okay, I lose, you can win
if you fade my bets, and I don't get angry again.
I don't get mad if you guys fade my bets.

(01:40):
I get angry if your jerk's about it. Okay, if
you're a jerk and you write something stupid, either on
the Discord channel or on my Twitter account, whatever, you're
a smartass, Okay, you're gonna get the horns. But if
you just do it quietly, do your thing and be
thankful and listen to the podcast, leave a review, write
something whatever, help the podcast in some way, and go

(02:04):
cash your check or go cast your chips, or go
cash your tickets, whatever it is. Right. So, I'm not
really angry about you doing that. I'm angry about how
you handle it. I understand me for a second. But yesterday,
I'm not mad about what happened yesterday.

Speaker 1 (02:18):
Okay.

Speaker 2 (02:19):
One, the rovol Van fight was unbelievable. Dana White called
it a top ten fight in the history of the
UFC in the postgame post fight press conference. I would
agree top for me personally, watching it live in person. Unbelievable.
First round. Van was phenomenal. Second round roll Ofvall, don't

(02:41):
I don't get the judge at thirty twenty seven, Okay,
I really disagree. Ravall won that second round. I mean
he outstruck up nearly two to one in significant strikes.
And then the third round went to Van. I mean
that was the right decision. Van knocked him down late.
He was off balance, but he knocked him down. There's
clear or knockdown of Roval and that's why the win

(03:02):
happened for Van. It wasn't dominant, it wasn't like he
blew him out. It wasn't like it was a bad bet.
I'd make that play all the time. It was an
even money bet. Wrong side of it, but even money bet.
It's not the big of a deal like it's okay,
that's just gets gambling.

Speaker 1 (03:17):
Okay, so you lose it.

Speaker 2 (03:19):
The second bet Pintosia France inside the distance that came
in easily. Also Pantosia by submission. If you bet that,
that cash. So that was good. So we got a
plus two to fifty bet on that to come in.
And then to Pooria and Olivera. I mean tip your
cap to to Poria. I mean, the guy is an
absolute his nickname, we need to come up with a

(03:42):
better nickname, because he's just a destroyer, like he's Colossus,
like he's unreal what he has done to every fighter
that he has gone up against. Guys who don't get
knocked out. Max Holloway doesn't get knocked out. To Poria
knocked him out. Volganovski, Volganovsky doesn't get knocked out. He

(04:03):
knocked him out. And I said it going in that
if Olivera did what he said he was going to do,
he was going to get knocked out in the first round,
which is what Daporia predicted. I mean, according to Dana White,
that's Muhammad Ali type stuff to predict that first round
knockout and then go and do it. Mystic Mac. I
told you about that yesterday last night, about Mistic Mac

(04:25):
and contain McGregor. That was the last time we saw
somebody like this that said I'm gonna do this and
then they go out and do it in combat sports.
Why did Charles or Charles Olivera go forward. I thought
he might have had him with that leg lock. I
thought there could have been a heel submission coming there
and you know something a heel hook coming. But to

(04:46):
Pori got out of it. And when he got out
of it, Olivera just lost it. I don't know what
caused his defense and what caused him to go so
aggressively towards Taporia. I mean I literally said it to
the guy me, I'm in trouble because Olivera was playing
with fire. You don't go into a firefight with that guy.

(05:08):
Nobody should. Patty Pimlet is going to be a massive
dog in that fight, and he's going to get put
to sleep. That is not a fighter who has the
game plan to go and fight against an Ilia to Poria,
Van and Toporia both winning fights the way that they
won their fights last night really interesting. There's been a

(05:30):
long standing theory amongst boxers that if you could somehow
avoid being taken down that real boxing talent, real hand speed,
that there's nobody in the UFC that would keep their
consciousness against a real boxer because the four ounce gloves

(05:51):
combined with real head movement, combined with real handspeed, there's
nobody who can handle it.

Speaker 1 (06:00):
You're going to go to sleep.

Speaker 2 (06:01):
Boxers like legitimate top of the line Canelo Alvarez tight boxers,
if they were to put on four ounce gloves and
go into the octagon, they would sleep pretty much everybody.
But the problem would be the stand up gets taken
to the ground and you're dead. Because you have no
BJJ experience, you have no grappling experience, you cannot do it.

(06:24):
So if you combine handspeed like Van Intoporia with the
talent that they have as a boxer, I mean, watch Van.
That right hand is glued to his chin. Just great
boxing technique that Van has. If you don't take that
guy down, and I do think that Pentosia is going
to walk right through Van because he's going to take

(06:44):
him down. I know he has a ninety one percent
takedown defense, but if that thing goes to the ground, goodbye,
game over.

Speaker 1 (06:50):
Pantosia Wednsday. It's not even close.

Speaker 2 (06:52):
But and he's thirty five years old, so it was
entering that realm of thirty five where it's like, uh oh,
but I need to see a lot of Van's takedown games.
Twenty three, that fight will be a thirty five year
old against a twenty three year old. Oh my, massive
difference there. But the handspeed and the boxing talent with
both guys' ability to keep themselves upright. I mean, Rovalla

(07:13):
had no interest even going to the ground. I couldn't
believe it. Like I thought, like, okay, after the first round,
I thought he would at least attempt it.

Speaker 1 (07:19):
He didn't. He help boxed him.

Speaker 2 (07:20):
And then the third round, I'm like, okay, a takedown
will be awesome, Like, how about just an attempt? How
about just slow him down? How about give him the
theory that you might take him down? Nope, that was
a mistake.

Speaker 1 (07:30):
But here, no there.

Speaker 2 (07:31):
Awesome performance for Van, awesome performance, awesome card, awesome night.
I don't mind losing money when I have that much
fun at fights, I don't mind losing money. It's not
a big deal. It's worth the price of entertainment to
go there and have that. So we go to Sunday,
we go to today, and I'm going to give you
guys two baseball bets fade away, and then I'm going

(07:51):
to do what I told you I was going to do.
I'm going to wait for the prop bet cheat sheet
to get the lineups, and then I'm going to put
two Major League Baseball play props on the app. You're
going to go and download the Betting Pros app and
search sportstalkmat or go to bettingpros dot com slash sportstalkmat
and you will see the plays on the desktop or

(08:13):
on your app. You will see the two player props
that I will put up somewhere between I don't know,
like ten and twelve noon ten am and twelve known Eastern.
I'll put those plays up for us here. Once we
get the lineups, once we get the data put into
the prop betcheat sheet from Major League Baseball, we'll jump
in on a couple of props here for today, both

(08:35):
at half a unit to win a half unit, will
bet to win a half a unit. Okay, so you're
going to do that. Additionally, remember that you have an
offer while you're going to download the app. Well, why
not do this Betting Pros Premium use the code juice
on the upgrade tab. Seven day free trial. You can
see all of the prop betcheat sheet. You can see
all of the propt analyzer. You can take a look

(08:55):

to be able to go and make plays, picks and
predictions and things you like prop bets and plays you
like and picks you like it everything else. Betting Pros
Premium seven day is free. Download the Betting Pros app
use the code Juice to get that seven day trial,
and then go and search my name at Sports Talk
Matt and you will see the two Major League Baseball
player props that I'm going to bet off. The prop

(09:17):
bet cheat chet coming up. If we are successful in
doing that on Sunday, I'll do that all week. I'll
do that Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, I'll do all week.
Quick reminder on that I'm traveling Wednesday, so most likely
you're going to see the Wednesday the Thursday morning. The
Thursday edition of The Juice will be taped Wednesday pretty

(09:41):
early in the day. My flight's at eleven forty five
Pacific time in the morning, and I don't get to
where I'm going in New Hampshire till like nine nine
to thirty Eastern time, so I'm not sure when i'll
tape it, but I'll probably tape it before I end
up traveling, and then i'll post it. And there's a
chance that it could be I don't know. I don't

(10:01):
I don't think I'll do Baseball Futures, but it might
be a baseball futures day. I don't know what we'll see,
but I'm traveling on that and we haven't done any
baseball futures what to our obsides wins and losses. So
we may want to get involved with some future markets
coming up here in the next couple of days. So
as I travel on Wednesday, okay, let's get to the
plays here for today it's schoolable day. And when it's

(10:26):
schoolble day, we like to go ahead and take a
look at the Tigers. Now, when the Tigers are playing
anybody but the Royals, we like looking at Schooble. You
know what's interesting about the Royal about the Tigers. So
the Tigers, they haven't won every game, but on the
games that they have, they have won. This is kind
of crazy. You have to go back to the tenth

(10:47):
of June for the Tigers to win a game and
have it not go sorry, the fourth of June, excuse me,
the fourth of June for the Tigers to win a
game and have it not be on the run line.

Speaker 1 (11:00):
Now they're losing games.

Speaker 2 (11:01):
Okay, they are losing games, but when they win starting
on from the fourth of June, Okay, on the sixth
of June three to one, four nothing, five three four
one eleven five, seven to three, nine two nine, three
eleven four eight nothing, ten to five. When they win,

(11:22):
they win by more than one run. Now again, they
have lost a bunch of games in between. Okay, but
they either win on the run line or they lose
the game outright. With schoobl on the mound against the
Twins and Chris Paddock, it's really hard to see Schooble losing.
He has a two point three ERA. He is seven

(11:45):
and zero at home. He has a two thirteen opposing
batting average at home and fifteen earned runs in fifty
eight in a two thirds innings worth of work. Schoolble
has won four straight starts, all on the run line
and the home game games. The last time he lost
a home game was against the Royals. Like I mentioned
the Royals back on the twentieth of April, the home

(12:09):
games have been won seven to nothing, two to one,
on the ninth of May, six to five, on the
fourteenth of May, five nothing, three to one, nine, two
eleven four. Were just gonna bet the run line with
Schooble and the Tigers to beat the Twins. Today it

(12:31):
is not that expensive to bet it here on this
we're laying juice. It's never great to lay juice with
the run line play, and it's also never great to
bet a team who is at home on the run line.
But it's schooable, so I'm comfortable doing this. The spread
is seven, if you can believe that, but it's minus
one twenty five. We're gonna lay it minus one twenty
five with the Tigers in schooble on the run line

(12:55):
to win by more than one run up against Minnesota
for one point twenty five units. Bet number two we're
going to go to the Boston Red Sox and the
Toronto Blue Jays. So these teams the last two days
have played some really interesting games. First game was a
nine to nothing loss by Boston. They got housed, but

(13:18):
the game went over. Yesterday it was a fifteen to
one win. Boston broke out in a big way. Over
nine cleared it easily. Boston cleared the total by themselves.
So we are two and oh to the over so
far here in this series. Well, the Red Sox are
throwing Walker gas Can Buehler, who I'm not sure if

(13:41):
he has a bad start today, I don't know if
Walker Buehler is going to be kept, if the Red
Sox may not just straight up cut the guy. I
know they signed him to come in, but he's been atrocious.
The team has lost five of the six starts he
has made dating back to the twenty fifth of May,
and the runs he has given up five, eight, three,

(14:04):
five and five over his last five starts, Holy crap.
The final scores have been nine to five, eight nothing,
four to three, nine, six and five nothing.

Speaker 1 (14:17):
Now the one.

Speaker 2 (14:18):
Fear, obviously is the Red Sox offense when it comes
to a total like this. But Walker Bueller is gonna
get hit. Eric Lawler is a lefty and he's going
for Toronto. He's not bad at all. He has a
two nineteen ERA, a three and one record and opposing
batting average a one ninety five two six earned runs
in twenty four and two thirds innings worth of work.

(14:40):
The team has won the last four times he has started, ten,
six eight one. The last two games for games started
by Eric Lawler, they score runs for this guy five two, six, four,
three and one to the over in games started for
Eric Laala for the Toronto Blue Jays. We know what

(15:02):
Walker Buehler does the combination of these two guys together.

Speaker 1 (15:07):
This is offense.

Speaker 2 (15:08):
I know it's Sunday, wonky things can happen, but I
just think we're gonna see offense here for both of
these teams. I think we have a high scoring game
total is nine and a half, where it's used to
the over minus one twenty. Let's bet the over one
point two units down Red Sox and the Toronto Blue
Jays to go over here with a one thirty start

(15:28):
time at Fenway Park. Whether it's gonna be nice eighty
five degrees in sunny, ball should be flying out of
Fenway Park. And for the most part, these guys have
played some pretty high scoring games so far. Toronto leads
the series six games to three so far, but we
have seen over the last five times these teams have
played ten, two, seven, six, four to two, nine to nothing,

(15:53):
fifteen to one. When the teams get together, they generally
have high scoring games.

Speaker 1 (15:58):
And with Walker.

Speaker 2 (15:59):
Buehler and Eric Lawler, I think we're gonna see runs
being scored for both teams over nine and a half
for the Blue Jays and the Red Sox for one
point two units. Now, before I'll give you one extra
play here if you want to make it. And I
almost made this official, but it's Sunday and I'm petrified
to do it. Have you guys seen the trend involving

(16:21):
the New York Yankees? This is absolutely wild. The last
time a Yankee game went over was back on the
eleventh of June against Kansas City. Total was eight and
a half. It was a six to three win for
the Yankees. Since then, every game has either pushed or

(16:45):
gone under for the Yankees, including yesterday where it was
nine and a half and it was a seven to
nothing loss to the A's. Final scores have been unbelievable
involving the Yankees. One three four two nothing, one nothing,
four nothing, three two seven three five three nine nothing,

(17:07):
four to two six' one five four seven to one three.
Nothing so what do we do here? Today, well the
easiest answer would be to bet under ten because the
number is. Ten but here's the. Problem the problem Is
Marcus strohman is pitching for The.

Speaker 1 (17:24):
Yankees this is the.

Speaker 2 (17:26):
Problem Luis, severino as we've talked about him on the,
road very. Good now we got touched up at his last.
Start he's two in one era now is two point
two seven after getting rocked Against detroit for seven earned
runs in five innings worth of work in his last road.
Start but before, That royal's one arned run in seven

(17:46):
and two Thirds, houston one arned run in six innings
Against San, francisco no urn runs in six innings Against,
texas one arned run in five. Innings like this guy
was consistently giving great road starts for The. A's so you,
go all, right bet under ten Sever reno's the, problem all, Right,

(18:06):
SORRY i Mean Marcus stroman's the. Problem excuse. Me his
e ray at home is thirteen point five zero to one.
Mark he has two starts at home where he's gone
five in a third and eight earned runs given up.

Speaker 1 (18:20):
In five in a.

Speaker 2 (18:21):
Third home, starts home innings on opposing batting averager three
sixty For Marcus. Stroman he's only pitched in three games this. Year,
okay he's coming off the injured. List he's been on
the il now for a, while and now he's making
his first start. Back do you want to back a
guy who's making his first? Start if you, do bet,
under you want to bet the? Trend bet. UNDER i

(18:44):
Just i'm so cold THAT i don't really want to
bet this because it feels like this could be a
really high scoring, game in particular with the bullpens getting.
INVOLVED i, mean we've had two shut in this, series
one by The, yankees one by The. Ace so do
both teams score? Today it's very possible that both teams

(19:06):
will score under. Ten if you want to bet, trends
bet under ten for The yankees and The. A's sixteen
consecutive games have not gone over either under or a
push for The, yankees dating back to the beginning Of june,
basically so under. Ten want to bet a trend under
ten for? That you want an extra play for The

(19:27):
yankees and The, eights But i'm not betting that BECAUSE
i JUST i don't trust.

Speaker 1 (19:32):
It so plays for.

Speaker 2 (19:33):
Today tigers run line minus one twenty five for one
point twenty five. Units Red Sox toronto over nine and
a half at minus one twenty fade away if you would,
like given five straight losing, Days Red sox lost six
in a row and then they won fifteen to, One
so maybe we're due to have a big four and oh.
Day i'll give you two player props In Major League
baseball on The Betting pros app later on, today go
