Speaker 1 (00:14):
Lots up.

Speaker 2 (00:14):
Guys, how are you welcome into a Sunday morning episode
of the Daily Juice podcast.

Speaker 1 (00:18):
My name is Matt Parolt.

Speaker 2 (00:19):
You guys can follow me across all of my socials
at Sports Talk Matt, And yes, this is a day
of podcast. Okay, there's going to be a taping of
the podcast for tomorrow for Monday morning. That will do
on Sunday night. But due to the fact that last
night I was looking at the numbers and there were
no there was nothing up, I mean from numbers. It
was just a gobbly gook of blank pay you know, props,

(00:41):
and everything was just empty. So we decided to push
the podcast to a Sunday morning tape. So I'm taping
this day of This is not normal, and this is
not we won't do this very often, but this is
because it's the last day of the of the first
half of Major League Baseball's regular season, so we go
to the All Star break as of tomorrow or home
run derby tomorrow. So we're into like, this is literally

(01:03):
the wonky week, right, This day is really wonky. So
if you want to tread lightly and you want to
drop your unit size, this is not a bad day
to do that just because of the lineups. And you know,
some players are playing in the All Star Game, some
players are going to the Home run Derby. Some players
are just going to Barbados and just getting away from

(01:24):
it all. So like, where are their brains? Where's the bullpen?
Is a manager going to empty the bullpen? Is a
manager not going to use the bullpen? Like it is
such a difficult day today in terms of the last
day of the first half, and everyone has vacation tomorrow.
Think about your own work, right, how do you prepare
for that Friday before your vacation.

Speaker 1 (01:45):
You're not exactly locked in?

Speaker 2 (01:46):
Okay, right, You're not exactly like right there and you
your nogget and everything is exactly how it's supposed to be.
So I tend to lean towards pitchers when it comes
to what happens here. They're one player, one person, and
genuinely speak. When they're on the mound by themselves in
a major League baseball game, They're not going to play around.

Speaker 1 (02:04):
Their brains aren't wandering.

Speaker 2 (02:05):
But offenses, I don't touch totals, like in terms of
like overall totals, I don't touch them. I don't think
you can touch them, to be quite honest, and I
bet streaks even more so than I do normally, simply
because I don't know what we're gonna get today out
of these lineups, out of anybody. So that's how I
approach today, and that's why we tape the podcast today.

Speaker 1 (02:24):
Now for yesterday, it was a losing day.

Speaker 2 (02:26):
Yesterday, still a winning week, but Red Sox won one nothing,
so we lost on the run line. More in the
Red Sox here in just one second, they've won nine
straight baseball games.

Speaker 1 (02:36):
Tigers do not get there.

Speaker 2 (02:38):
They got housed by the Mariners, blown off their blown
out astros. They did win an extra as they saved
the day for us on that one and one on
player props down my point one units on that, so
two and three day for us down one point one units.
Now while we go through the prop betchets sheet, and
I got two player props for you on the podcast.
Plus I got two plays for us as well. Here

(03:00):
full unit places for games happening today. Reminder that you
guys can play around with Betting Pros Premium right now
when you go and download the Betting Pros app and
use the code juice. This is a good time to
do this right now during the All Star break, because
you can take a look at some other sports and
maybe you haven't always look. Maybe you're good at player
props in baseball and you want to take a look

(03:21):
at the WNBA prop bet cheat sheet.

Speaker 1 (03:23):
Great time, do it seven days for free here.

Speaker 2 (03:26):
It might help you get through the All Star break
when there's nothing really going on here for Major League
Baseball and it's sort of like, you know, the desert
of the summer when it comes to betting. Use the
code Juice when you download the Betting Pros app in
the App Store or Google play Store seven day free
trial to Betting Pros Premium for all the prop bet
cheat sheet, prop but Analyzer and everything else. Use that

(03:47):
code Juice after you download it in the upgrade screen
on the Betting Pros app.

Speaker 1 (03:52):
All right, let's get right into it.

Speaker 2 (03:54):
I'm betting streaks, okay, So I'm betting the Red Sox
like there's just no The Red Sox are at home
today after a one nothing lead Garrett Crochet or one
nothing win. Rather, Garrett Crochet was unbelievable yesterday. Nine innings,
three hits, no earned runs, nine K's just making a

(04:15):
case for him to go and win the cy Young Like,
I know, everyone's saying it's schooable, it's schoolble. Are you
are you sure that it's gonna be schooble. I'm not
sure it's gonna be schooble. With the way that Crochet
is currently pitching. He's ten and four with a two
point two to three ERA, and he's gone and looked
really strong over the last month month and a half
for himself. I mean, he is just dominating hitters in

(04:39):
Major League Baseball. And he's had one bad start, really
two bad starts the Yankees on June the seventh and
the Reds on June on June the thirtieth, But everything
else has been zero two, zero one one one earned
runs over the last month and a half. Crochet has
been tremendous at home. He's a two point three five

(04:59):
r on the road, two point one to three right
he eight and one on the road. By the way,
Garret Crochet, the second half of the year, we're gonna back,
but unfortunately we just didn't get there with the run line.
We got the Astros wins that kind of saved everything.
But the Red Sox today look to close out the
first half of the regular season on a ten game
winning streak. They are five and one against Tampa and

(05:21):
they get to go and throw Brian Beao. I'm not
in love with Brian Bayo, but you can't talk about
you can't knock out whether you gots throwing the baseball.
Right now, the team has won back to beck starts
by Brian Beao ten two, five to three. He's gone
nine innings complete game in his last start with two
earn runs, So you could say, Matt he threw one
hundred and seven pitches, So maybe that's a dangerous spot. Maybe,

(05:42):
but the Rays don't really hit, and they aren't hitting
right now. So Red's huge win. Five innings, two earned
runs for him, and the bullpen did not pitch yesterday.
No one from the bullpen came out for the Red Sox,
so they have everybody. So if Bo gets out to
a little bit of a trouble spot and maybe he
only goes four today and they bring in the bullpen.
The Red Sox bullpen during this run has been very good,

(06:06):
huge for them. Our favorite name that I can never pronounce,
Ryan Ppo. I think I said it right. Ppo is
going today for the Rais and he is not bad
on the Road's got a three point seven to two era,
a one in three record, a two twenty posing batting average,
fifteen earn runs and thirty six innings worth of work
for him. But the team lost his last start in
two of the last three, including a absolute destruction on

(06:28):
the road against Baltimore where he went one in two
thirds innings, give up four earned runs and the team
gave up twenty two earned runs to the Baltimore Orioles.
Last two starts on the road for Tampa with Ryan
Ppo both have been losses four to two loss to Detroit,
a twenty two to eight loss to Baltimore like I mentioned,
and a three to one loss to the Red Sox
back on the tenth of June.

Speaker 1 (06:50):
So oh to three.

Speaker 2 (06:51):
Last three road starts for Ryan Ppo and the Timpa
Bay Rays. We'll keep it rolling here. Red Sox money
line is not expensive today. Let's just bet the streak
with Boston and to keep it going to win ten
in a row heading into the break Red Sox money
line at minus one sixteen for one point one six units. Okay,
I mentioned coming in with streaks. The Milwaukee Brewers are

(07:13):
red hot. They have won six games in a row.
They're fifty five and forty and they are one game
behind the Chicago Cubs in the NL Central standings. Look,
it's the Nationals. They've won the first two games of
this series eight three and six to five. We bet
the run line two games ago and it came in
for us. Freddy Peralta is going on the mound here

(07:36):
for the Milwaukee Brewers, Freddy Perlta. The team has won
five consecutive games with Freddy Peralta on the mound and
the team is five sorry, three and two on the
run line, but two and h three and oh sorry.
Over the last three starts on the run line nine
to one, seven to two, nine to three against the Pirates,
on the road against the Mets, and at home against

(07:58):
the Dodgers, he's given up zero earn runs, two earned
runs and three earn runs the last four starts for
him during this run. And if you go back to
Saint Louis a three to two win, he gave up
one earned run. Freddie Pelton has been really really good.
Run line is minus one ten. We're gonna go and
take it and take a shot at it. Maybe it's

(08:19):
a one run lead in that I want to one
run win and that burns us. But this has been
a very good team at home for the Milwaukee Brewers.
The Nationals are not a good team on the road.
They're twenty and twenty nine thirty two and seventeen Milwaukee.
They got one of their best pitchers going. Their offense
is Humming that scored six and eight runs in in
the first two games of this series. Sure, they gave

(08:40):
up five runs to the Nationals last night, but eight
three win in Game one. Let's get another eight to
three win here to go into the break for the Brewers.
Red hot run line not money line. Run line for
the Brewers at minus one ten one point one units.

Speaker 1 (08:57):
Down on that, all right.

Speaker 2 (08:58):
I normally give you guys the play props on the
betting pros app, but I'm not going to do that
obviously because of the limited time you guys will have
to bet this. But I want to go to Miami
in Baltimore and Uri Perez, who has been really good
his last two starts, one earn run and zero earned
runs given up the last two times that he hit
the bump. And I don't like Baltimore's offense right now.

(09:20):
They got shut out last night six nothing by Miami
and looking like a team that just wants to head
on out into the All Star break. Right now, Uri
Perez is two and two with a four ERA, but
on the road he's been a little bit rocky four
point nine to six one in one, but he's been
really really good late. Team is three to zero in
his last three starts. He's given up one zero in

(09:43):
three earned runs over his last three starts, a twelve
two win over Cincinnati on the road. His last road start,
five innings, one earned run. Let's duplicate that today Minnesota
for one win, six innings, no earn runs will take
that as well, Uri Perez. According to the prop Bitch
cheat sheet, this is a seventy six percent cover probability,
a twenty four percent expected value play, and a five

(10:06):
star play on top of that number is said at
two and a half earned runs for Uri Perez of
the Marlins, and we're going to go under Uri Perez
under two and a half. It's a little expensive at
minus one sixty, but when we're only going to bet
it to win a half a unit, okay, it's not
you know, you can bet full units if you want Okay,
that's perfectly fine if you want to bet full units,

(10:26):
but since we're only going to bet it for a
half a unit, I think it's okay to jump.

Speaker 1 (10:30):
In on that.

Speaker 2 (10:30):
With that at point eight units at minus one sixty
for Uri Perez under two and a half earned runs
today for the Marlins up against the Baltimore Orioles. Second play.
Going back to the prop bet cheat sheet, this is
a sixty four percent probability, a seventeen percent expected value,
and only a four star play. However, Hunter Brown's been awesome.

(10:55):
I love what he has done. He's coming off of
one of his worst outings of the first half, where
he gave up six earned runs to the Cleveland Guardians
in a ten to six loss, and the starts before
that he had given up two zero in one earned run.
He gave up two earned runs up against Minnesota. The
number when we set to two and a half, I

(11:17):
mean he just gave up six.

Speaker 1 (11:20):
Look, he might be running out of gas.

Speaker 2 (11:22):
He might be a tough, a little tired on this,
and the prop pitt chic sheet likes him to give
up two earned runs today. I said a sixty four
percent cover probability, even though it's a four star play.
I still like it. I think Hunter Brown is going
to give up, and he's up against a pretty good
I mean obviously a pretty good or not a very

(11:43):
good offense here in Texas, but I like it. I
like the Rangers to score two runs today. Again, these guys,
I don't really know where they're going to be. Are
we getting lockdown shutout performances? I mean, Houston is fifty
six and thirty nine currently the Races are twenty one
and thirty on the road. But a five to four

(12:04):
win last night after a seven to three win in
the first game for the Rangers, who scored I mean
that's four seven and four runs scored by the Rangers,
So their bats are a little hotter one of what
they have been here.

Speaker 1 (12:16):
Get a two run home run.

Speaker 2 (12:17):
And we go over here and two earned you know,
go in five innings, give you up two earned runs
is not a bad thing at all. We're gonna follow
the prop bet cheat sheet here, Hunter Brown over one
and a half earned runs at minus one twenty four
point six units. All right, So our plays for today
Red Sox money line minus one, sixteen Brewers run line
at mine one ten uri Perez under two and a

(12:39):
half earned runs and Hunter Brown over one and a
half earned runs for us Here on a Sunday. My
name is Matt Paroz. You guys can follow me across
