What's up, guys? How are you welcome into a Thursday
morning episode of the Daily Juice podcast. My name is
Matt Perrault. You guys can follow me across all of
my socials at Sports Talk Matt. And we're back after
kind of another bummer night. So we're kind of bumbling
and stumbling our way out of the month of January.
We're gonna still wind up up. I wanted to get

to ten units. We're not gonna get to ten units.
We're giving a little back, including one point two we
gave back last night. Both college basketball bets go down.
We had been doing well in college basketball. In fact,
we were feeling like we could get back over five
hundred in college basketball. But that's not gonna be the

case if you're losing a couple of games. Last night.
We are sixteen eighteen hour, sixteen and twenty on the
year so far for college basketball. It's you know, it's
still not horrible because we're still up over six units
for the month. But we're giving a little back here.
We get the Celtics team total, right, that was the

ad that we had at sixteen and a half. Boston
scored sixty eight points against the Chicago Bulls, but West
Virginia got housed at home by Houston and Wisconsin had
a three at the buzzer to lose by five. It
missed until they lost by eight unfortunately, So we lose
both those college basketball bets and we wound up down

one point two units a one in two day for US.
So in terms of how the week is going, it's
really not been a great week for us so far.
We were up on Monday, down a little on Tuesday,
down on Wednesday, so so far, what that's one point two,

it's one point four, so we're down point five for
half unit. We're down a half unit so far for
the week. So not horrible, but we got time to recover.
Just not a great week so far. Not a great
stretch here for us in the month of January. Okay,
a couple of things. I will do NBA player props today.

I liked that Celtics bet. It came in at sixteen
and a half. We bet it, so I didn't do
player props. I will do player props tonight on the
NBA for the games in the association. So you're gonna
go to the betting pros app. You're going to download it.
Then you're going to search at Sports Talk Matt, and
you're going to follow me on the app. That will
give you a notification as to when I post the

player props. At least two, maybe three. We'll see as
to how we'll roll with this tonight, but NBA player
props for sure will hit you. So I have an
NBA player props coming later. I have a college basketball bet,
and I have an NHL bet. So we're going to
cross off all three sports here on Thursday. More than
three bets because we'll have two or three player props,

but three sports NHL, NBA and college basketball to be
covered here tonight. For us, let's start in the college
basketball ranks with the game of the night. Oregon is
at UCLA. Yes, this is a Pac twelve game that
used to be no longer. Now we're looking at Big ten.
So here's Oregon, who they're six and three on the

road this year ATS. However, things are not going great
for Dan Alman's club. They're nine and eleven ATS overall.
They are two and seven ATS in the Big Ten.
They haven't covered in four straight games. They are three
and seven ATS over their last ten. It's not been good.

They lost to Minnesota on the road as favorites in
their last game minus four. They lose by eight. They
were laying twelve and a half to Washington by eleven.
They went at home against Purdue, they were favored by
two and a half points and they lost by seven.
They were laying two and a half to pen State
on the road and they won by one. Didn't cover

last four games. Did not cover six of the last
seven games not covered so far here for Oregon. On
the flip side, Ucla hasn't been great. But UCLA when
they played against Oregon in their first matchup, they were
on the road as dogs and they won the game outright.
They were catching three and a half points and they

won the game outright. Now they shift back to home
where they are four and a half point favorites. Opened
at four, now four and a half. Ucla is eleven
and ten ATS. They're not much better by the way
in the Big Ten they're three and seven, but they
are seven and four ATS at home, and like I mentioned,
they've already beaten Oregon one time this year. They beat
usc on the road in their last game. They were

one and a half point favorites. They won by six.
They've won four games in a row, they just only
cover two of them, and that was following a four
game losing streak and a five game in six game
stretch for UCLA. Mc cronin's team has really pulled out
of this nosedive, beating Iowa by twenty four, Wisconsin by two,
Washington by five, and usc by six. I like Ucla here,

even though kempom has this as only a three point win.
Four straight wins for UCLA. They're at home and Oregon
has not been great this season, and really things are
not going right at all for the Oregon Ducks. They've
lost to Illinois, Ucla, Purdue in Minnesota. I think they
lose again here, unfortunately to UCLA. For them, I'll lay

the four and a half points with this because I
think there's some real places where UCLA is going to
take advantage. Defensively, they're twenty first inefficiency. Mccronin's team is
going to be effective. You could bet the under this
game too, by the way, if you want to thirty
second for efficiency for Oregon, they are eightieth in effective
field goal percentage one hundred and sixtieth for UCLA. Defensively,

but UCLA is a team that offensively they've been better
than in recent years. They're not great still offensively, but
fifty fifth in offensive efficiency, eighty third effective field goal percentage,
they are eighty third and two point shooting. They're one
hundred and forty six in three point shooting. Oregon defensively
has been okay, fortieth in efficiency, seventieth ineffective field goal percentage,

sixty third and three point defense, and one hundred and
second in two point defense. I just think this is
a tough matchup here for for Oregon on the road
at Ucla. This is a ten to thirty Eastern time
start on Fox Sports one. I like mc cronin's team.
Heck of a game to be had here, and again,
if you want to just bet the under, I don't

hate it. If you want to bet the under in
this game. I it's a little low. It's one forty
and a half. It's a little low. So there's potential
for this game to go over instead of just going
to lay the four and a half points. Home team Ucla.

go to hockey the Vegas Golden Knights are at home
against the Columbus Blue Jackets. Columbus is the number one
over team in hockey so far this year. They are

the under over their last ten games. But this is
where it can be a little bit deceiving. They're four
and one to the under over their last five games.
They're two and one to the under over the last three.
On the flip side, you look at the Vegas Golden
Knights and where they are over their last ten games,

and Vegas has been scoring. They're five to four and
one to the over over their last ten games. Over
the last five, they're three to one in one In
the last three for the Vegas gold Knights with the over,
they're two and one. This total is six and a
half or six. If you get six and a half,
I don't mind betting under six and a half, but
you can find a six, which gives us a really

good push potential. We're looking at most likely number one goaltenders.
Columbus is a team that just gives up a lot
of goals and Vegas. En Hill is probably a net
for Vegas. His games have gone seven five, seven nine
in his last four starts. He's given up four goals

in three of his last four starts. He hasn't been great.
So on the flip side, Vegas is scoring a bunch
of goals. Vegas scored three against Dallas, four against Florida,
three against Dallas, four against Saint Louis in their last
four games, so they're scoring. We know that inden Hill

hasn't been great. He's been giving up goals. We know
Vegas tends to play at home, tend to play a
little more to the over than what they normally do,
and so far this year to the over at home,
Vegas is flat. They're fourteen and thirteen to the under
actually at home this year. But generally speaking, they do

play games that tend to lean towards the over, especially
when it's six. I think you can play under six
and a half if you like the under, fine to
six and a half, I'd rather take a shot on
the over and take it maybe with an open net,
or maybe it's a four to two final and we
wind up getting ourselves a push six is the number

I like to bet on. I like to bet overs
on six. I don't mind betting under six and a half,
but when against the six, I'm going to take the
shot and bet over just because of open nets and
scoring opportunities. So to me, I think the shot we
take is on the over over six for Vegas here
in their game at home against the Columbus Blue Jackets tonight.
