Speaker 1 (00:14):
Hey guys, tell w are you welcome into a Tuesday
morning episode of the Daily Juice podcast. My name is
Matt Pelt. You guys can follow me across all my
socials at Sports Talk Matt, and we're back after another
winning night two and one. Last night, baseball comes up
a run short Red Sox in the Rays four runs
in the first five, not five runs in the first five,
So we missed on that unfortunately. But the Florida Panthers

(00:39):
very good night. They win the game easily six to one,
but Brovski again goes over on saves. That was the
play of the day. Play of the Day now moves
to eight and one in the month of June. If
you are new to sports gambling, okay, and I bet
a lot of you guys are. I'm serious. I've been

(00:59):
doing this for a while. This is a really fun.
It's kind of like a game. So every day I
make three bets. Right of those three bets, Mike Mayor
Mayo at Mike Mayor on the Discord Channel, he picks
one of the three in which he likes the most.

(01:22):
I don't know what the criteria. I don't know if
it's gut, I don't know if he just like comes
up with it and was like, yeah, I like that.
I don't know. I've no idea. We've never actually I
don't want to know what he uses to determine it,
because it is working. We have hit eight of nine
in June. We have hit eleven of the last twelve.
If you're going to bet one thing each day from

(01:45):
this podcast, the play of the day is what you
should be betting. I have never been associated with anything.
And I'll put this in the discord channel. I'm gonna
get this pulled today. What our record is in twenty
twenty five, it's gonna be something bonkers, okay, And look,

(02:06):
it's gonna cool down. There's gonna be some regression to
the mean that just what happens. You're never gonna have
something that's gonna hit at I mean, right now, it's
hitting at a ridiculous you know, basically a ninety percent clip.
It's not gonna consistently hit like that. But for right now,
in this part of twenty twenty five, why not if
you're gonna bet one thing and that's it, You're gonna

(02:28):
make one bet every day. The Daily Juice Betting pros
Play of the day is ridiculous. It's the only word
I can use for it. Okay, again, we're gonna cool off,
We're gonna go through a cold stretch. We always do.
It's just how it works and how it goes. But
if you've been betting anything from this podcast the play

(02:49):
of the day, and the next question is going to
be from a lot of you guys who watch this
on YouTube who are not part of the Discord channel
or are not on the app. Go download the app,
all right, it's free. You can go and see it underpicks.
The Daily Juice Play of the Day is on there

(03:10):
every single day. It's by like two or three o'clock Eastern.
It's when it at the latest it goes up most days,
it's upright around lunchtime. It'll go up. So you can
watch the Daily Juice. You can try to predict if
you want, which one you want to jump in on.
If you're ever caught between betting something and not betting something.
If we've picked it for the play of the day,

(03:32):
I would play it. Just my word of advice, I
would bet it. That should be your tie breaker, that
should be your what you're going to weigh on another side,
simply because that has been so good in twenty five.
We've got a really fun thing rolling with us. And again,
whenever you call this out, whenever you point out again
I'm not superstitious. I'm a little stitious. Whenever you point

(03:55):
this out, the gambling gods punish you and they're like, hmm,
talk your talk. H So if we go cold for
the next like three days, just deal with it and
we'll get back on the winning track. But over the
course of the entire year so far, eight and one
in June is eight and one in June. We're a
third of the way through the month and we're eight

(04:16):
and one. We're up seven units basically, so littly know
a little less six and six point seven or something. Okay,
if you aren't doing great individually, make one play and
have it be the play of the day, and that
is all. Guys. Have you subscribed to the Betting Pros
YouTube channel If you have not, and you want to

(04:37):
win this signed autograph Paul Pierce Jersey, well you better
do so, and then comment on this video. Give me
do something fun in the comment section. Okay, to win
this Paul Piers Jersey. Thanks to Priccene auction. I'll ask
this question. Okay, what type of content do you guys

(04:58):
want from the Daily Jew? Now not obviously winners, okay,
but like, tell me, tell me, is there something lacking
from the podcast you would want more of? If you
tell me to get to get to the picks faster,
I'm going to delete your post. Okay, maybe delete you.
I don't care about that stuff. Okay, don't critique the

(05:19):
method in which this podcast is taped. You're not going
to change what I'm doing. But from a content standpoint,
is there something that you would like us to get
into more? Is there something you're confused about? Is there
a betting topic you want me to explain? Is there
a certain type of game bet that you don't understand,
or a certain sport you'd like me to handicap more
or get involved with less? Just give me some feedback. Okay,

(05:42):
let's let's do a little. It's June, okay, before we
get to the fall. That's you know, basically like five
to seven thousand of you every day watch this podcast
on YouTube and same amount listen to it so on
Spotify on Apple. I see the comments, So go ahead
and write comments if you want there, But mostly it's
in the comment section on YouTube for the Betting Pros

(06:03):
YouTube channel. When you're gonna if you want to win
this thing, be subscribing to the Betting Pros YouTube channel,
but also leave a comment. But use the comment. Let's
let's use that space for something productive. Tell me what
you guys are either wanting, wanting more of, wanting less
of for the podcast and don't be a you know,
don't be a wy so guy here. Okay, let's let's
use it for productive stuff. Additionally, we have an offer

(06:27):
that's still available right now from no vig. This being
a peer to peer marketplace. Being a peer to peer
sports book, which is legal in most states. You're competing
against other users, not necessarily the house. In every market
that you're betting into, you might get better lines than
traditional books. You also can set your own lines if

(06:47):
you want as well. No commissions or heat and hidden fees.
It uses a coin deposit system, but you do bet
with real money, you'd win real money. You can use
the code daily Juice for a fifty percent off your
first coin purchase up to twenty five dollars. Check it
out now at Bettingpros dot com slash juice. That's bettingpros
dot com slash juice. Okay, so the Red Sox first

(07:11):
five missed yesterday, We're coming right back. I told you
I'm gonna bet it all week. We're gonna bet it again. Okay,
it's an experiment, and sometimes experiments don't work. But four
four and a half was the number. It fel four
the sixth inning and the seventh inning. The two teams
combined for five runs. That was frustrating. So we were

(07:32):
off it by a single inning. But let's see if
we get it tonight. Red Sox are throwing Lucasgilito. Now
you want to talk about guys who just are absolute
dumpster fires at home, that would be Lucasgilito. Lucasgilido at
Fenway Park has an ERA of ten point four to seven.

(07:52):
He has started four games, only one loss. They score
for Lucasgilido because they know they have to batting average.
And I actually laughed when I saw this. The opposing
batting average at home for Lucasgilito is four thirty eight
four thirty eight, okay, sixteen point one sixteen and a

(08:15):
third innings worth of work, nineteen earned runs, four home
runs given up six walks for Lucas Gilido. Yikes. The
Rays very well might get this number themselves. Urfee. Probably
not a horrible idea to jump in on the urfee
Red Sox. By the way, I have had four games
consistently a straight go to the over the nurfy hit.

(08:38):
Neither team scored till the fourth inning last night, which
is somewhat surprising. But Boston's games have gone eleven nine
nine six ten seven eleven seven ten eight, So that
is five straight games have gone over. If you want
to bet this game just over nine, I like that.
I will bet that as well, over nine. But first

(08:59):
five he's the experiment play of four and a half again,
and we're gonna jump in on it. I don't care
that one of the better pitchers for Tampa is throwing
in Ryan. I always say this kid's this kid's name wrong,
po pia Pot right, so you say it Piapot Ryan
Piapot for the Tampa Bay Rays on the road, he

(09:23):
has a two point three to five ERA pretty good
one and two record twenty three innings worth of work
to six earned runs, posing batting average of one ninety eight.
But the Red Sox score for Lucas Gilito, so they
get a couple of runs, score two or three runs
in the first five off. Ryan and Gelido should do
the rest for us and should give us the first
five over over four and a half. Second bet all

(09:46):
baseball today. By the way, second bet again. I told
you we're going to jump in on this, and this
is somewhat frustrating because it's expensive as holy heck, but
we're betting it because well, it's the Rockies. The Rockies
at home have six wins six The Rockies are an
absolute horrible baseball team. We know this. They have twelve
wins overall and on the run line this year, the

(10:09):
Rockies are twenty three and forty two twenty three and
forty two at home. This year, the Rockies have an awesome,
unbelievable record on the run line of h is the
worst let's see second was ten and twenty one, ten
and twenty one, thirty two point three percent of the time. Now,

(10:29):
the Giants were a really good team on the road
in the beginning part of the year. They're one of
the best over teams. They haven't been great recently, but
they are eighteen and fifteen on the run line this
year on the road, and they're facing obviously a team
that they expect to beat consistently and beat them quite badly.
And when you're competing in our division like the National

(10:51):
League West, these are games you have to win. The
Giants come into this game winning five games in a row,
beating the Braves four to three, three to two, and
five four all off the run line, three two six
five three two sixty five against the Padres, all off
the run line. So they are due, if you want
to call it that, to have a big breakout night

(11:12):
here and score a bunch of runs. Now, Carson Pomquiz
is going for the Rockies at home. He has an
array of twelve point four to six uh huh, you
heard me, twelve point four to six oh one to
one record. He's pitched in just one game, but he
give up seven runs, six earned, in four and a
third innings. And his only start at home that was

(11:34):
against the Phillies. He gave up ten hits in that game.
Like I mentioned, he got wrecked. So I mean he's
pitched three games on the road, it hasn't gone that
much better, five two and four earned runs. The team
has lost every game he has started, and they've lost
every game on the run line in which he has started.
What are we betting run line? It is expensive. I

(11:55):
don't love laying one sixty, but I said I was
going to, So we're going Giants on the run line
and minus one sixty for this game coming up here
tonight at cores Field. Again, I don't love laying this
type of number, but in the game so far this year,
the Rockies won the first matchup between these teams, but

(12:15):
these next all four games were in San Francisco, four
nothing sixty three nine three for the Giants. So the
three and one straight up and three and one on
the run line against each other. So I think some
books are going to go to two and a half.
So let's grab it at one and a half minus
one sixty for the Giants for one point six units.
And finally, here tonight, we're gonna talk about the Pirates

(12:38):
and the Pirates money line up against Sandy ALCNTRA and
the Marlins. The Pirates have won four games in a row.
The Pirates they've won five to four to two, one two,
one ten three against the Marlins yesterday. Marlins, as we know,
are a complete dumpster fire, and Sandy al Contra on

(12:59):
the road has been the epitome of that. On the road.
This year, he has a twelve point eight one ERA.
Do you sense a trend here as to what I'm
betting today? Twelve point eight one zero to four in
five games started. In just nineteen and two thirds innings
worth of work, Sandy L. Contra has given up twenty
eight earned runs opposing batting average of three sixty six. Now,

(13:23):
that's not as bad as Lucas Giulito at home at Fenway,
but three sixty six is three sixty six, and the
sample size is not that small for Sandy L. Contra.
Last time out, though, wasn't awful against the Rockies, still
lost to game three to two, six innings, two earned runs.
But against Tampa four nothing loss, five innings, four earned runs.

(13:44):
Against the Dodgers a seven to four loss, five innings,
five earned runs against the Reds six innings, three earned
runs loss. Last time he won a game at home
was back against Washington. The last time he won a
game on the road. I mean, you look at the
road numbers against beat the Dodge, those are the padres.

(14:05):
On the twenty eighth of May, he went four innings,
gave up six earned runs, but the offense scored ten
runs for him, so he won the game, but it
wasn't thanks to him. Against La five and a third
five earned runs against the White Sox loss five and
two thirds four earned runs against the Dodgers two and
two thirds, seven earned runs. Sanduel Contra home or on

(14:27):
the road has not been good, and it's a cheap price.
I know he's facing Mitch Keller, and I know Mitch
Keller has not been great at home this year. He's
zero to five four point seven to six opposing batting
average of two eighty three, twenty four earned runs and
forty five and a third innings worth of work. But

(14:48):
there's a butt there. In his last game against the
Houston Astros, he was awful six and a third six
earn runs, but the start before that against Milwaukee, he
wasn't awful. Six innings, one earned run, two to one
win against the Reds. The bullpen went and choked it
up and coughed it up because he went six innings

(15:08):
and gave up one earned run, So he wasn't good
as last start, but the two starts before that at home,
Mitch Keller wasn't bad. He was pretty good. We need
that version of Mitch Keller here today against the Marlins,
and then the Bats need to stay hot against Sandy L. Contra,
take the Pirates on the money line, and yes it's
a scary bet given it's Mitch Keller, but let's ride

(15:29):
the hot teams. Fading the bad pictures. You know, we're
fading Sandy L. Contra today, We're gonna fade Lucas Gildo today,
and we're just gonna go and find and try to
try to find bad pictures and take advantage of numbers
that maybe you know to our benefit Carson Pomquist as well.
So pictures who can't get guys out, let's fade them.

(15:49):
Those are our three bets here for today. Red Sox
raise over four and a half first five that should
say first five at mass one twenty five one point
two five units down there, Giants run line at mice
one sixty laying the one and a half runs at
one point six units in Pirates money line at mice
one twenty for one point two units. Those are the
place for us here on a Tuesday's Daily Juice Podcast
