Speaker 1 (00:14):
What's up, guys? How Why are you welcome into a
Wednesday morning episode of the Daily Juice podcast with me
Matt Perraltz. You guys can follow me across all of
my socials at Sports Talk Matt, and boy was the
weather a story last night. Unfortunately only one of the
player props went off and that was the one that lost.
Because it's pretty much been a two and two run
here for us, it turns into a one and two

(00:37):
run because of the rain out, but because we got
the prop bet or sorry, we got the run line right, which,
by the way, the run line, well guess we bet
two run lines. The Rangers run line was the play
of the day. So we wind up starting the month
off with a one and oh, Mark, that's cool. And
then unfortunately it was a one nothing win for the Pirates.

(00:57):
We were right there for us to go ahead and
go two and our on this, so instead it's a
one in two day instead of a two and one
day because well Pittsburgh couldn't muster more than one run
to in support of Paul Skein, so that was a
rough end there, but that would have been a plus
one thirty five cash for us, and said it's plus
one twenty, so we were profitable there. We won money

(01:18):
doing that up point two units. That helped to make
up for the h to one on the player prop,
which was Paul gold Schmid under one and a half bases.
He got a couple of hits there, so we got
wrong and the other one was rained out. So one
in two down point three units on that day for yesterday,
but a good start for the play of the day
here for the month of July. All right, today is

(01:39):
the second of July. Today is known as seven oh
two day, seventh July oh two, the date. The area
code for Las Vegas is seven oh two, which makes
sense because this is the final time you will see
me for an overnight episode of the Daily Juice podcast
here with this backdrop for about a month now. Tomorrow

(02:01):
you're going to get a very early episode of the
Daily Juice on that I'm going to jump in with
some player props, or rather player futures for us from
Major League Baseball. Okay, I'm going to explain them. I'm
gonna tell you at least two there might be three
that I'm gonna jump in with here that are going

(02:22):
to be betible at most sportsbooks for us here for
the rest of the year. So we haven't gotten involved
much here except we've gotten involved with the wins and
losses those futures. But now we'll get into Championship Pennant Division,
you know, MVP markets, Rookie of the Year markets, all

(02:45):
those available for us here in Major League Baseball. So
that will drop at night normally, but I'm gonna tape
it in the morning, and then I'm gonna fly pretty
much all day back to the East Coast, and then
once I get to where I am going somewhere around
nine or ten o'clock on the East Coast, I will
publicize I will put out that episode of the Daily
Juice podcast, So just stay tuned for that. For the

(03:07):
next forty eight hours or so, things are going to
be a little bit different, So we won't have really
actual plays for Thursday, but we'll have a futures Major
League Baseball Futures bet and then I'll be back. I'll
be where I'm supposed to be on Thursday, going forward
into the fourth of July and everything else for us
here for the Daily Juice Podcast. Now we are offering

(03:29):
something new for the month of July that is a
Jim Palmer signed baseball. Do you want to win the
Hall of Famers autograph on a baseball nineteen ninety for
Jim Palmer? This baseball can be yours if you are
subscribed to the Betting Pros YouTube channel and you simply
comment on this video. Not hard, very simple, write whatever

(03:51):
you want and this could be yours. Coming up at
the end of July in the beginning of August, we
will pull one lucky poster and make sure that you
are a subscribed to the Betting Pros YouTube channel, and
if you are, you will win this sign baseball by
Jim Palmer, thanks to our friends at Pristine Auction dot com.
Do that simple and you could wind up winning this

(04:13):
very cool piece of sports memorabilia. Okay, let's start with
the Cubs and their game up against the Guardians. So
we went against Imanaga in his last start. That was
a mistake. Imanaga is four and two with a two
point five to four ERA. His whip has been good.

(04:33):
He's got a little bit over a point sixty seven
k's per nine. He's been very consistent at home. His
strikeout rates a little bit lower than what it has
been on the road, but it's still pretty good. The
under on his strikeout props, by the way, seventy five
percent of the time that has hit for Imnaga so
far this season. Maybe a little preview of what the

(04:55):
prop BET's going to be for tomorrow for us here
today on and I'll explain more how to find the
prop bets here in just one second. Tanner bb is
going up against Minaga four and eight record, three point
nine ERA. BB has been good recently, about six point
four strikeouts per game for him over his last five starts.

(05:17):
The over in his strikeout props have been pretty profitable.
Road performances, though, have been a bit inconsistent. Hasn't been
striking out nearly as many batters on the road as
he has at home, which is typical for Tanner Bibby
for most of his career. The Cubs, well, we know
what they do. They score runs, and they score runs
at home. Suzuki's been tremendous here in the first half.
Cubs are averaging over five and a half runs a

(05:39):
game over their last ten contests. They are also slugging,
which one of the best in baseball with their overall
slugging percentage up against a Guardians team that does struggle
to score. I mean, frankly, they just do. I mean,
ramierge is great, but they don't score a ton of runs.
Under four runs per game two point six runs per
game over their last ten a three six six slugging

(05:59):
is one of the worst in Major League Baseball. Look, the
Cubs bullpen is decent. It's top ten in save percentage.
They've been reliable. The Guardians have been great. I mean,
that's what the Guardians do is rely on their bullpen.
But when you're losing, it's great. You know when you
have a great bullpen, but it only matters if you're
holding a lead. If you're trailing, it's just gonna hold

(06:22):
down the opposing offense and you're hoping that the team
winds up winning. So Cubs are twenty six and seventeen
at home, they have been very profitable. On the money line,
they have won very They've won more than two thirds
of their games. On the run line, they've been good.
The Guardians are under five hundred. On the road, they've
lost seven of ten. Give me the run line. I'm

(06:44):
gonna jump in with again here on this because here
we are again. It's the same thought total is nine.
I don't think the Guardians score all that much, but
I do think the Cubs will score here in this game.
Cubs win, but I think we're gonna go ahead and
jump in on plug money like we've been doing here.
Home team, better pitcher, run line. We've gone one in one,

(07:06):
one in one. Let's see what happens here today with
Imnaga at homing against the Cubs plus one twenty or
home for the Cubs plus one twenty against the Guardians
for one unit. Second bet, we're gonna go to the
Blue Jays and the Yankees. The Yankees are gonna get
swept on the road against the Blue Jays. The Blue

(07:27):
Jays have won the first two games of this series
five four and twelve, five twelve five. Yesterday, Springer had
a career high seven RBIs, and well, the Yankees are
only up by one game on Toronto for the American
League East, the Rays are only a game and a

(07:49):
half back at forty seven and thirty nine. The Yankees
are forty eight and thirty seven, and they're gonna turn
around and throw Will Warren tonight the right handed pitch.
He's got a four point three seven ERA, but on
the road, it's a five point five to four ERA.
We're in the posing batting average of two sixty five

(08:09):
twenty third twenty three earned runs in thirty seven and
a third innings worth of work one in two record.
Now the team has won four of his last five starts.
But while Warren was decent against the A's at home
five innings, no earned runs on the up, against Baltimore

(08:30):
he gave he went and gave up two and six
and a third in three against the Angels in six innings.
He has been bad at times on the road, although
he's great against the Royals one inning sorry, he went
five and two thirds, no earned runs and a one
nothing went over the Royals, But against the Dodgers he
gave up seven earned runs eighteen to two loss there,

(08:51):
and against Colorado he gave up two earned runs in
four innings. I don't know if I'm throwing Will Warren
out there, hoping for him to be a stopper here
against a very hot offense for the Blue Jays, and
on the flip side, they're throwing Jose Barrios, who at
home this year has a three point four to eight
EER a two to one record opposing betting average of

(09:13):
two twenty seven, just twenty one earned runs in fifty
four in a third innings worth of work, and the
team has won five of the last six games started
by Jose Barrios. And I'm gonna get plus money on
a home dog going for a sweep. This isn't just
I mean this is You can argue the logic of
this and say it's a bad bet. Mad the Yankees

(09:35):
are due. I'm just betting streaks. I'm betting the home dog,
and I'm fading Will Warren. I like the offense a
lot for the Yankee, for the Blue Jays here against
the Yankee pitching against the Yankee bullpen. Look, I could
be dead wrong here, but I'm taking the home dog.
Give me the Blue Jays at home at plus one

(09:55):
twelve one point fifteen, depending on wherever you're gonna go here,
get the best price in the Blue Jays money line
Toronto against the Yankees at plus one twelve for one unit,
and the run Cubs on the run line against the
Guardians at plus one twenty for one unit. Now, I've
gotten a bunch of messages from folks not knowing where

(10:15):
the props are, and there'll be two more coming today.
Listen to me, okay, listen the Betting pros app. You
must download the Betting pros app on the app search
at Sports Talk Matt. It's the same handle on every platform.
You see this little thing right below me on the

(10:36):
YouTube channel on the YouTube video at Sports Talk Matt.
That's for x Twitter, but it works for everything. It
works for TikTok, it works for Instagram, it works for
the Betting pros app. So that's number one. Download the
Betting pros app. Search at Sports Talk Matt. Number two.

(10:57):
Go to your desktop and type in Betting pros slash
Sports Talk Matt. That's where you'll find it as well.
They'll be listed under my bio. It's easier on the
app because it'll tell you two active bets right there
under my name right there, so you don't need to
DM me. Okay, go back and rewatch or re listen

(11:20):
to what I just said about how to find the
player props. You must download the Betting pros app. If
you have not downloaded the free Betting pros app yet,
do that before you ask me any questions. Okay, so
that's been the prevailing thing when someone had asked me
and I've gone. Have you downloaded the app? The answer
is no, where are the props? Get my frustration? Okay,

(11:47):
need to download the Betting Pros app in the App
Store in the Google Play Store. Then go search at
Sports Talk Matt and if you still can't find my
player props there, then DM me let's have a winning day.
We haven't had one of those in a while. Be
watching for not just one podcast, but later today you'll
get another one coming out for baseball, but this one

(12:09):
won't be for games on Thursday. It'll be a baseball
futures podcast coming out for the Daily Juice. As I
am traveling tomorrow back to the East Coast. My name
is Matt Paroli. You guys can follow me across all
my socials at Sports Talk Matt every morning. Wherever you
guys get your podcasts, it is the Daily Juice.
