Speaker 1 (00:01):
You're listening to The Daily Ticket with Sean Brace, Philly's
first daily sports gambling show. Let us see it down
on Fox Sports Radio The Gambler. The action starts here.

Speaker 2 (00:14):
Yes, indeed, Daily Ticket Shaw Brays, Sean Bernard and Luke
Arcaney with you here.

Speaker 3 (00:19):
Sam Oustri is going to join the party.

Speaker 2 (00:21):
Are resident Nick fan, So I'm sure he's gonna have
a lot to say about this firing.

Speaker 4 (00:25):
He was very.

Speaker 3 (00:26):
Adamant that it was not going to happen. Need to
pull that sound up. Uh, he is shocked.

Speaker 2 (00:31):
So I can't wait to hear his thoughts on all
things Nicks firing Tom Thibodeau after five seasons, four out
of five, made the playoffs, back to back, fifty plus
wins in the regular season, and oh, by the way,
just had the most successful season in franchise history or
with the franchise in the last twenty five years. Making
the Eastern Conference rouse not good enough?

Speaker 3 (00:51):
All right, we will.

Speaker 2 (00:52):
Stay with the Knixt conversation and we'll let you know
if Jay Wright gets that phone call or not. But
of course Luke Arcane does a great job covering all
things Phillies four crossing broad and of course covers the
Phillies for us here on the Gambler as well all
things major League Baseball. I want to fire up DraftKings Sportsbook,
Luke and take a look at some of the numbers
that mattered the most for tonight's game between the Blue

(01:12):
Jays and the Phillies, as we need them to find
a victory up north of the border. But before we
do that, allow me to just ask this question, because
they're for real and the you all.

Speaker 5 (01:24):
One is clock high in the sky and deep to right. Hernandez,
this back, this one is long gone.

Speaker 6 (01:30):
End of the pavilion, A lead off home run for
Francisco Lindor, who rocked it over the weekend against Colorado,
his fourteenth.

Speaker 3 (01:39):
Home run of the year.

Speaker 2 (01:41):
It pains me, it should pain everybody, but we have
to be realistic with this conversation. And no more am
I saying that this team is just a little bit
of a flash in the pan. And maybe I shouldn't
have been saying it in the first place. I wasn't,
but I know there's a lot of people that did
have that opinion. I was more under the impression that, hey,
look as the season goes on, and I think we're
going to see one team separate themselves from the other,

(02:03):
and I thought specifically the Phillies would be that team.
Still might happen, as it's only June third, but man,
the Mets have that look. They have that vibe. Lindor
leads off the game against the Dodgers. They just took
two or three against LA in City Field last week.
This is a team that has played some pretty good competition.
I think they were nineteen now nineteen to ten against

(02:24):
teams with over five hundred record. Lindor is a serious,
realistic MVP candidate. Yes, And they go out to LA
in a game that I didn't think they had a
chance of hello winning and take game one. It's a
four game series, Luke, I have to ask you your
thoughts on the Mets right now. With thirty eight and
twenty two top of the division, no one's asking for
an NL East conversation as far as winning it now.

(02:46):
But when you want to take a bigger approach on
this Mets team, this roster, this pitching staff, what are
you saying right now?

Speaker 4 (02:54):
Yeah?

Speaker 7 (02:54):
Well, first of all, we need to pump the brakes
on the Francisco Lindoor MVP Conference thing.

Speaker 4 (03:01):
It's just it's just not gonna out.

Speaker 7 (03:04):
He's probably about five guys in the National League.

Speaker 5 (03:08):
It's June third.

Speaker 4 (03:10):
Okay, So all right, so we can't say that that's
had that look?

Speaker 3 (03:13):
Are you wait?

Speaker 7 (03:14):
Wait?

Speaker 3 (03:14):
Wait, wait wait?

Speaker 6 (03:15):
Do you take so hey old tany out the conversation?
Who's having a better season right now in the NL?

Speaker 5 (03:21):
Kyle Tucker?

Speaker 4 (03:22):
Do you want what? Do you want? Three names or
four names? Can? I'll give you Kyle Tucker? P Crow Armstrong?

Speaker 3 (03:27):
And nobody knows who crow Armstrong is?

Speaker 4 (03:30):
Well your darned right.

Speaker 7 (03:31):
Shut The kid is nasty, he's good good.

Speaker 6 (03:37):
Who's who's had the look on June third?

Speaker 4 (03:42):
Last year?

Speaker 3 (03:42):
You have to wait until the playoffs shober.

Speaker 2 (03:45):
But nobody's gonna do that. Shober versus Francisco Indoor? Right now, MVP,
who you got Amy?

Speaker 4 (03:51):
You're looking at stats?

Speaker 7 (03:52):
The answer shore like his ops is a hundred points higher,
he has seven more home runs, he has more RB high.
It's like it's it's let's let's pump the breaks back
a little bit, people, please.

Speaker 4 (04:06):
The guys got it eighty ops?

Speaker 2 (04:08):
Lord, come on, man, alright, it was me, it was me.
I'm staring it up a little bit up, staring up,
it was me, Well.

Speaker 7 (04:15):
I do have good news after you're starring it up.
Bryce Harper is actually in the line as we expected.
We have a line up tonight, uh Stott leading off
turner short Harper and back in the three hole shoter
hit and clean up Alec Boem, Nick Castianis, Max Kepler,

(04:37):
j t Real Nico, and Brandon Marsh in center with
Christopher Sanchez on the mound. So Bryce back then the
lineup looks normal again.

Speaker 4 (04:46):
So a nice little chance for the Phillies to get
back in the win.

Speaker 3 (04:48):
Calm tonight.

Speaker 5 (04:49):
Will they Yeah?

Speaker 4 (04:51):
They will love it? Yeah? Why yeah they will?

Speaker 3 (04:53):
Why Francis is really Bowden Francis.

Speaker 7 (04:58):
Voden Francis fifteen home runs this year so far, the guy.

Speaker 5 (05:03):
Who kid Bodenden.

Speaker 7 (05:06):
Yeah, I don't know that was his first issue, but yeah,
they're he he hasn't been having that great of a year.
The Phillies actually tend to play fairly wellish over the
last you know, so many years in Toronto. Obviously, I
think we all remember the the Schwarber three home run
game there last year.

Speaker 4 (05:27):
He's a guy that I do like.

Speaker 7 (05:28):
Tonight he has a home run off of France in
the past as well as Harper. But now that's a
good spot for the Phillies to get back in the
win column. Tonight, the lineup's all back. I think it's
normal again. So yeah, a nice little three game set here.
This is really, honestly a nice little six game stretch

(05:48):
here for the Phillies. They have three against Toronto and
then three against the Pirates in Pittsburgh this coming weekend.

Speaker 4 (05:55):
They avoid schemes.

Speaker 7 (05:56):
In Pittsburgh, so a nice little weeknd or a week
for them to get sort of rack up some wins
here before they play a team that has two MVP
candidates over Francisco Lindor in the Chicago Cubs.

Speaker 2 (06:11):
All right, well, I look at this team today and
I would like to see them find a way to
win a game up there in Toronto, north of the border.
Bets coming your way here, give us a give us
a play or two that we need to be firing.

Speaker 3 (06:24):
As far as on the same game parlay slip.

Speaker 7 (06:27):
Yeah, I'm I'm going to continue to look at Schwarver.
I mean, I'm I'm riding the hot hand. You can
kind of take whatever you want with that guy. At
this point, he had he had a really good month
of May. He hit two eighty eight six forty four,
slugging with a one oh four to seven ops in May.
He's hitting three forty eight over the last seven days,

(06:50):
two ninety eight over the last fifteen. The guy's just
he's on a tear the first, you know, month and
a half to two months of the season.

Speaker 4 (06:58):
I'm going to continue to ride Kyle Warber on the books.

Speaker 8 (07:03):
Does the hot start to the season for Schwarber worre
you that we might not get the June Schwarber that
we've kind of come to expect.

Speaker 7 (07:09):
No, I think because tonight you finally get the first
look at June Schwarber.

Speaker 4 (07:12):
I'm gonna take him to go yard.

Speaker 7 (07:15):
This This doesn't seem like a hot.

Speaker 4 (07:19):
Start, slow ending kind of thing.

Speaker 7 (07:21):
I don't really think Schwarber is that kind of guy
in the first place.

Speaker 4 (07:25):
I think he's just really good.

Speaker 7 (07:27):
He doesn't really strike me as a guy that you know,
gets hot early and then just like freezes the rest
of the year.

Speaker 4 (07:34):
I think we saw it last year a little bit
with Boem.

Speaker 7 (07:37):
But yeah, no, he he he's the guy if if
you're going to look into props, he's He's the guy
you have to continue to ride because he's gonna give
you your best chance, even though you know the odds
are never too fond for him, especially in the home
run market. I have to check what he is tonight.
It's it's you know, it's rarely over a plus three

(07:59):
hundred him to hit a home run. So tonight Kyle
Schore would have hit a home run is plus two
thirty five against Bowden, Francis Price Propers plus two ninety
five and for some odd reason JT. Realmuto's the next
and odds there.

Speaker 4 (08:17):
So yeah, I mean I would continue to look for.

Speaker 7 (08:21):
I think Harper as well, seemed like he was honestly
probably could have played Sunday if they were like truly
really desperate, but there was no reason to really throw
him back in there.

Speaker 4 (08:35):
So I would just I would just ride the big
guns tonight.

Speaker 3 (08:39):
Before you get out of here, our question of the day.

Speaker 2 (08:41):
Since the Phillies had to head north, they had to
stop by customs at the border.

Speaker 3 (08:47):
Luke Arcadie Shan Bernard named.

Speaker 2 (08:49):
The Phillies player that would be stopped by the Mounties
the border patrol up there and the reason why.

Speaker 4 (08:57):
Jordan Jordan look at the.

Speaker 2 (09:05):
Good God dude, I'll just kidd At least.

Speaker 7 (09:10):
Honestly, I think the casios just look at it, look
at the last name, just feels like a guy that
would be the one that's randomly stopped. And then I
think he would have some fun with the guys up
there and and make it really quick on the Toronto thing.
Did you guys see Jan Roass was flying a helicoter yesterday?

Speaker 5 (09:30):
I did see that he was flying it. Yes, he was.

Speaker 7 (09:34):
There was one point of his Instagram Live that they
were up there like with like a professional. Obviously it was.
It was marsh Rojas and Castianos. They did a helicopter
ride over Niagara Falls lovely and at one point Ross
was actually in the drivers of Hell.

Speaker 4 (09:54):
So it seems like they enjoyed their off day today.

Speaker 7 (09:57):
I know a few of the guys, Uh, they got
the chance to go to ni Falls yesterday.

Speaker 4 (10:01):
I think I saw a mundo.

Speaker 7 (10:02):
I was there yesterday as well, But it seems like
the boys enjoyed their off days.

Speaker 2 (10:07):
Yeah, there's a lot to do up there north to
the border. Everything's everything's a little bit better. When it
comes to alcohol. They do triple X. They do triple Yeah.
They go look at the alcohol content or whatever the
terminology is the ABC levels for their beer, Molson Triple X,
Bat's Triple X. Yeah, they go, they go hard north
to the border and oh, by the way, uh and

(10:27):
I've never been, but apparently the strip clubs are pretty
good too as well. But to each their own, they're
pretty good all over the globe.

Speaker 5 (10:34):
Anyways, you guys brushed over to the answer to this.

Speaker 3 (10:37):
Yeah, I was gonna say, hold on back to the question.

Speaker 6 (10:39):
You name the Philly player that gets stopped at the
border by customes and the reason why, go schop.

Speaker 5 (10:45):
The answer is Brandon marsh and the wet hair.

Speaker 8 (10:47):
That that is the signal there that I think that's
an automatic we need to look into that.

Speaker 2 (10:51):
You guys are just saying like, oh, these guys are hippies,
and like, man, we gotta stop them because we know
they're bringing some of that contramand up here and we
don't want that.

Speaker 4 (11:00):
Yeah.

Speaker 5 (11:01):
See, I think it's JT.

Speaker 2 (11:02):
Realmuto because he was somewhere on January sixth, and they
haven't been able to fight.

Speaker 8 (11:07):
He did, he did have some lore, if my memory
said its correctly, he did have some problems crossing that border.

Speaker 5 (11:13):
A couple of years ago. Yes he did, didn't ye who.

Speaker 3 (11:18):
Whoops, forgot about.

Speaker 4 (11:20):
That for a bit of a reason.

Speaker 3 (11:22):
Trying to interject a little humor here, and.

Speaker 2 (11:24):
That's all and yeah, next thing you know we are
getting anyways, we'll keep it moving daily tickets.

Speaker 5 (11:30):
Sham Bernard with us.

Speaker 2 (11:34):
Unbelievable once again, as we do here in the Gambler.
Thanks but no thanks James Dolan to Tom Thibodeau, good.

Speaker 3 (11:44):
Luke Rcady, fantastic stuff.

Speaker 2 (11:46):
Continue to read you at Crossing Brag, look on all
those plays and we will catch up tomorrow. Sir, my man,
there he is Luke Rcaandy on the Gambler stream. All right,
Sham Bernard is with me in studio and we'll be
for the rest of the show. Sam Most she's going
to join the program, Sean and I and Sam Sam,
Sean and I are going to Uh there's a new

(12:08):
f one bar.

Speaker 3 (12:10):
Now. Did you know about this place, Sharmandard.

Speaker 8 (12:12):
I heard a little bit about it, not more mostly
from you. I heard a little bit of buzz elsewhere
as well. I wouldn't say I'm the biggest f one
guy in the world by any means, but uh yeah,
excited to take it in all right.

Speaker 2 (12:21):
So, and the great Natalie Aganop's gonna be there as well,
from Team I heard. I saw her there like a
week ago. She was there before anybody exclusive.

Speaker 3 (12:31):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (12:31):
Now, this F one arcade, it's an F one arcade,
and it's I thought it was the Bankroll.

Speaker 8 (12:38):
It's not.

Speaker 4 (12:39):
It's nowhere near that.

Speaker 5 (12:40):
Yeah, it's up the road.

Speaker 3 (12:42):
It's actually by Lucky Strike.

Speaker 4 (12:44):
Okay.

Speaker 2 (12:45):
So I looked at this the experience, like, this place
looks awesome.

Speaker 4 (12:49):
Now.

Speaker 3 (12:49):
I am not an F one guy, but here's.

Speaker 2 (12:51):
What I will tell you. I am a race fan
when it comes to arcade games.

Speaker 5 (12:55):
Sure.

Speaker 2 (12:56):
Oh man, Daytona used to I used to skip school,
me and my boy we would go to the Viemont
mall up and scram. We'd skip school and we would
just have twenty dollars in quarters and literally just play
Daytona up in the arcade. And the arcade had like
seven games and we would be up there for like
two hours, killing time. I love Daytona. I'll go to
these barcades. If they have Daytona, I play it. But

(13:19):
more times than not, if they have a good racing game,
i'll play it. I'll give it a Shot. You go
to Dave and Busters. They got some good ones. They
got a motorcycle game. So like, I'm a fan of
racing games, and here's the cool thing. Shot you go
to f one Arcade dot com. Check out what Philly
has to offer the racing experience. They got racing modes
like me and you could go head to head and Sam,

(13:39):
we could all compete.

Speaker 5 (13:40):
Okay, head to head to head.

Speaker 3 (13:42):
I think it's almost like a again different sport.

Speaker 2 (13:45):
But like you know how top golf you got your
own bay and you could compete and you know, da
da da da. I think that's kind of like what
this is as well. Okay, very cool, we're moving in
that direction. I think there's a baseball bar that's being built.
Yeah well yeah yeah, I did see that a little bit.

Speaker 8 (13:57):
And as much as like I do want to put
it out on the table, Mario Kart is still the
a one racing game crowd.

Speaker 2 (14:03):
I was never good at Mario Kart, but I played.
I loved it Rainbow Road all day every day. It's
a tough one, but yeah, man I was I just
was not good at Mario Kart. Oh my daughter right now,
she's a gamer five five years old daddy, could you
turn on the PlayStation? Sure for one game? Paw Patrol
in a race. It's just a Paw Patrol race. And

(14:25):
it's like and she's like, could.

Speaker 3 (14:26):
You turn off mayor Humdinger? He always gets me.

Speaker 5 (14:28):
It's great.

Speaker 2 (14:30):
All right, Uh, we got a lot to discuss here.
Sam Ostri's going to join the party. Look, Sam is
mister nick and like he's got to be floored. I
don't know about gutted, but floored that the Knicks have
moved on from Tom Thibodeau. We'll find out where he
stands as far as Jay Wright, if he is the first, second,
or third call. Who else is getting a phone call

(14:50):
on sam Ostry's rollerdecks?

Speaker 3 (14:52):
All that and more.

Speaker 2 (14:53):
Tom Thibodeau, out as the New York Knicks head coach,
will discuss that with sam Ostri from the Score on
the other side more.

Speaker 1 (14:58):
After this, playoffs are here and nobody has you covered.
Like the Gambler Gang, we don't just watch the playoffs,
We bet the hell out of them.

Speaker 5 (15:08):
Oh my
