Speaker 1 (00:06):
Oh yes, joining us right now, gambler's dream, not wasting
a minute. I'm so excited to get this gentleman on.

Speaker 2 (00:15):
He popped up on.

Speaker 1 (00:15):
My timeline and hasn't left, and that's a good thing
for all of us.

Speaker 2 (00:19):
Damn it.

Speaker 1 (00:21):
Kooby marciall joining us right now in a daily ticket
talking some big picture Major League Baseball, Kolby, how we
doing to hey man.

Speaker 3 (00:30):
I am absolutely fantastic.

Speaker 4 (00:32):
I'm glad I have someone finally going to match some energy.
I hate being the the energizer bunny for every show
I go on.

Speaker 3 (00:39):
I'm just kidding. People have their own version. That's it.

Speaker 4 (00:42):
You and I have very similar dribes. It does not stop.
I felt it through the text message. Damn right, awesome,
damn right.

Speaker 1 (00:50):
I love it, dude. All right, look we got a
lot to discuss. Of course, we do have some live
action right now. Castians just got thrown out at home
bases loaded two outs. I wasn't able to really pay
attention too deeply to it, but Casti he got mowed
down at home. I believe Wan Soto threw him out
a matter of fact, to as well. Tight really close,
but we're still all tied up. It to a piece

(01:11):
Alvarado in for the fightings. At this point in time,
they got to find a way to win a game
up there at City Field right now, Kolby, it's tough
sledding for these Phillies, and of course with the Mets.

Speaker 2 (01:20):
I want to start there with you.

Speaker 1 (01:22):
Actually, hold on, time out, time out, give me twenty.
Let's get a little background on you. Where are you from?
How did you get into this world of content creating?
And of course the Major League Baseball love? Where did
that come from?

Speaker 4 (01:37):
Now, before we get into any of that, I just
want to say, for the listeners out there in the
Philly area, in honor of being on a.

Speaker 3 (01:44):
Philly show, you bet You're Sweet, Bitpy.

Speaker 4 (01:46):
I put a home run bet on Live for Kyle
Schworber to hit a new and it's next at bat.

Speaker 3 (01:51):
So that is for everyone out there. But cash is
if it doesn't, we move on. The day moves on,
we go on.

Speaker 2 (01:57):
You already hit earlier today, you already had a.

Speaker 4 (01:59):
Winner that if every bet was like that, we would
all be rich. We're never here to get rich. I
live in Chicago. I've been in the state of Illinois
my whole life been downtown since I went to the
Paul two time alum Humble Breck Go Mons, Always Go Mons.

Speaker 3 (02:20):
I worked for.

Speaker 4 (02:23):
Live on the Line for two and a half years. Yeah, yeah,
with with Brad Evans. I worked on behind the scenes.
I got to go on a couple of times.

Speaker 3 (02:31):
On the show. That's really I always joke. I talked
to him earlier. I go.

Speaker 4 (02:35):
You know, I tell everyone that I went to the
school of Brad Evans.

Speaker 3 (02:38):
That's just I love Brad. He's the absolute best.

Speaker 4 (02:41):
Basically that show was where I was like I could
do this. I podcasted throughout my college career, had a podcast.

Speaker 3 (02:49):
For three and a half years. We had one hundred
and forty episodes something like that, on and off.

Speaker 4 (02:53):
I love doing this. I love to talk. Do I
like hearing myself talk? No, I will not look back
to this because.

Speaker 3 (03:00):
All go throw up on ourselves shell we I love
this stuff. It's not work, it will never be work.
It's fun. I've been betting on baseball full.

Speaker 4 (03:11):
Time, I guess you could say since twenty twenty three,
so really three years full time betting at every single day.
The grind never stops. I love betting on it every
single day. There's nothing like betting on baseball because of
the value. It's unlike every other sport out there. I
will have a card of ten plays, all worth plus money.
We could win three of those and still be looking great.

(03:32):
But I also love college basketball. I have to be
nearly perfect. I got my rear end destroyed this year
in college hoops. So baseball is near to dear to me.
A website that is near and dear to me is
batters hyphenbox dot com, a friend model debt website.

Speaker 3 (03:46):
It is absolutely free to people that need an extra
tool out there. Use it. I went up ninety units
on the free version.

Speaker 4 (03:52):
There is a premium version, so if you do want
to dabble, I think you will get your money back
if you pay for it. But don't pay for something
you don't know. Try the free version out. That is
my only plug for this show. I don't do plugs
unless I believe in it. Yes, I know the owner
and I use it every single day. No free plucks,
no free plucks. I'm not getting paid for this. This
is a free at, free at. I love it that much.

Speaker 2 (04:12):
Plug the show though the pickoff correct.

Speaker 3 (04:15):
Yes, that is my baseball show.

Speaker 4 (04:17):
Over on Betting News, I have a show later today
at six or five eastern.

Speaker 3 (04:21):
Excuse five Eastern.

Speaker 4 (04:22):
I got the time zones mixed up because I'm in
Central perfect time. There units upper units at five o'clock
on Betting News and in the morning at nine o'clock
this week because time change, but we usually do it
every Friday at ten o'clock Eastern.

Speaker 1 (04:34):
Nice dude, awesome. Well, be sure to follow Coley. We
tweeted out a bunch as far as our socials are concerned.
You can find him real easy at c underscore his
last name, that's m A. R. C. Hio with the
number two. Why the number two?

Speaker 2 (04:46):
Is there? A one? Was there? A one? One?

Speaker 3 (04:48):
Was taking created that when I was in eighth grade.
I don't recall one.

Speaker 1 (04:53):
I love it all right, yes, and Live on the
Line I watched.

Speaker 2 (04:58):
I was a.

Speaker 1 (04:59):
Consumer of Live on the Line, of course. Brad Evans,
but a good friend of mine, Jared Smith.

Speaker 2 (05:05):
You know Jared Love Jared. Jared.

Speaker 3 (05:07):
Jared is the absolute best.

Speaker 2 (05:09):
There you go, Jared.

Speaker 3 (05:10):
If you're not a.

Speaker 4 (05:10):
Europieurfy fan, you don't know what you've been. You've never
bet on fun, But follow Jared right there as well. Yes,
love Jared, love his dog Jack Pott, Great Vegas.

Speaker 1 (05:21):
Incredible dude man, both on the air and behind the scenes.
Love Jared and continue success for him out there in Vegas.
Sorry Colby, back over to you, Back over to Phillies,
let's talk in El East. I was surprised to see
that the New York Mets at this point in time
are leading the major leagues in e ERRA and kicking
button taking names with the number that they have. But

(05:42):
I'm really reluctant to believe that that is going to continue.

Speaker 2 (05:46):
However, it's baseball.

Speaker 1 (05:47):
Crazier things have happened, right Nobody had the Detroit Tigers
making a run what they did last year, still putting
up some pretty good numbers this year, so on and
so forth. Every year there's a surprise team player stat
whatever it may be. Is this year that the New
York Mets put it together with that rotation. Like I
didn't even know how that guy was last night, shame
on me. But like they're rolling out there, like I

(06:09):
gotta look his name up again, Griffin Kims.

Speaker 4 (06:11):
No, no, no, don't even look the name up. Don't
even look the name. You don't have to look up
the name. I only know Tyler McGill. Outside of that,
it's you.

Speaker 2 (06:18):
And I out there, that's it. But they're good old
arms it.

Speaker 4 (06:23):
I don't know if it's lazy of me to keep
saying this in the month of April and somewhat of March.

Speaker 3 (06:28):
I definitely said this, But we got months. Yeah, we
have months. We have months. Let's keep going.

Speaker 2 (06:35):
We have months.

Speaker 4 (06:36):
We have until Halloween, really un till it feels like Halloween.
So wonder is this team legit or not? So I
really don't Maybe it is lazy for me to be like,
give it time, but there's no reason to pull the
panic button. There's no reason to be all in on anybody.
There's no reason to bet any futures right.

Speaker 3 (06:55):
Now, in my opinion, just hold on, give it some time.
Lets some things go through the hoop.

Speaker 4 (07:01):
It's April, the winter or the spring weathers just creeping up.

Speaker 3 (07:06):
We're now having the windows cracked in the mid Midwest. Midwest.

Speaker 1 (07:09):
Yeah, we just did it to yesterday and in Philly.
How love that our windows were wide. But then my
daughter runs over and closes them because she's cold, and
she gets her way. But you know, the fresh air.

Speaker 3 (07:20):
Human furnace, I get your paint, human furnace.

Speaker 1 (07:22):
All right, So again that's where I stand, Like, hold up,
you know, we have this postgame show here in Philadelphia
that's so boring and they do it every single year
and they literally you an awful announcing there's a clip.

Speaker 2 (07:35):
John Cruck was asked like the panic Should I hit
the panic button? Oh? And it's so funny. You never
heard this before, and it's just like, dude, you're that
they're lazy. That's a lazy take what we discussed. We're
realistic and you have to come back to guys. It's baseball, man.

Speaker 1 (07:50):
These guys are gonna slow have slow starts, some are
gonna have unbelievable starts and then hit a rough stretch
coming up here in June. Like we know that this
is how it plays out year after year. But with
that being said, the Phillies are flawed, and specifically about
the bullpen. Let me ask you a big picture Kolby,
when it comes to the world of Major League Baseball's bullpens.

(08:11):
Is this something that could be figured out in the
middle of a season, you know, because I thought they
had some decent names. I thought they had a little
rhyme and reason on why they put the the the
the rotation or the or the the the layout. As
far as you're gonna go to this guy in the seventh,
this guy in the eighth, this guy in the night
that Dombrowski. I liked some of the names he brought in.
Of course, Jeff Hoffman left last year, which was a

(08:34):
tough one. As far as in the offseason is concerned,
he's having early success. But can the bullpen figure itself
out or do you think that maybe it's an uphill
climb and they could be dealing with doomsday all the
way throughout this this season, maybe into August.

Speaker 2 (08:47):
Let's just say that much.

Speaker 4 (08:49):
I'm I'm really excited we're talking about your your team
this because.

Speaker 3 (08:53):
They're so interesting. They're so interesting.

Speaker 4 (08:55):
I don't think it's just the bullpen, the rotation you're
gonna get you got you get some guys banged up
right now, you'll get them back.

Speaker 3 (09:01):
I think you'll be fine.

Speaker 4 (09:03):
You would just pray that they're a serviceable bullpen, because
really that's your only flaw right now, outside of what's.

Speaker 3 (09:10):
Going on with the Bats.

Speaker 4 (09:11):
The home away splits are atrocious. They can't play outside
of any anywhere but the bank. Right now, they were
my most my most favorite.

Speaker 3 (09:20):
Team to hone in on.

Speaker 4 (09:21):
Because I'm a F five, diehard team, total guy. I
will admit no, literally nothing about bullpens. I will not
know anything about bullpens because I this is where a
handicap and where I look at stuff. I just never
look at bullpenk It's because there's more value in the
first five you under you know what to expect. You're
not going to know who's coming in from the pen.
From a gambling perspective like that. What they were so

(09:44):
weird at the gate. They've turned it around somewhat, but
they were dead last and first five scoring, but then
top five in the rest of the game in scoring.
It was like the six through the ninth they were
scoring six runs a game. That was the most interesting
start of the season my opinion, not even just trying
to brag about your team, the Phillies. It's just what

(10:04):
are you doing in the first five innings that you
can't get it wrong? They need to get it roll.
The bats need to kind of wake up. They're kind
of waking up. I mean at home averaging five runs,
but on the road three three and a half.

Speaker 3 (10:15):
That's terrible.

Speaker 2 (10:16):
Yeah, you can't have it and it's frustrating.

Speaker 1 (10:19):
And I get it from the Philly fans perspective because
what took place last year, right, it's still fresh in
our brains, fresh in our minds. We could still taste
that terrible defeat to the New York Mets.

Speaker 2 (10:30):
And for a majority of this season.

Speaker 1 (10:32):
Last year, the Phillies were great and they had that
World Series. Look, they handled the Dodgers when they came
to Citizens Bank Park in August, and then of course
they just handled the Dodgers earlier this year as well.
So that tells you all you need to know about that.
It's just the regular season series. Not much you could
put into it other than that. But oh, in all,
this is a good team you have. Really, you spend

(10:52):
a ton of money on guys like Trey Turner, of course,
Bryce Harper and Sharber at the top.

Speaker 3 (10:57):
It should be the Wonder Years. It should be the
Wonder Years. Loaded.

Speaker 2 (11:00):
Yeah, it should be loaded.

Speaker 3 (11:01):
It's just I think maybe the expectations are too high,
but they should be that high. I have a heavy
top of the lineup. They should be crushing the ball.

Speaker 1 (11:12):
So as far as the Mets are concerned, and the
Braves and the Phillies. Those are the three teams that
will be duking up for the NL East Crown. I
know you said too early.

Speaker 4 (11:20):
Are we going to see the Braves turn around? Is
the time to hit the pantic button on the Braves?

Speaker 2 (11:23):
That's a good question.

Speaker 3 (11:24):
Dead last nine wins, seven games back. I think they'll
turn around.

Speaker 1 (11:28):
Yeah, And I know that the one stat that was
being tossed out there is no team has ever started
oh A and made the playoffs and I and I
like that from the historical preference. But yeah, it's a
whole different day and age with the new additional playoff team.
And the Braves are good, they have good players, and
they're gonna get a coon you back and right now
there's some bad stuff happening behind the scenes.

Speaker 2 (11:47):
Strider gets the engine. Yeah, it's come back.

Speaker 3 (11:51):
I hate we're just rambled about it. Just to sub
everything up. It's April. Every every class, is it lazy?
Anyone listening? Just let me know, go on Twitter, just
tell you. But it's April.

Speaker 4 (12:01):
Why are we going to get ahead of ourselves when
we're what are we on the the first drive of
the season. If this was the NFL first ride, it's
barely the first quarter.

Speaker 2 (12:09):
Yes, yeah, you're right about that.

Speaker 1 (12:11):
No, I guess, I guess every question I have for you,
just say it's April and then we'll just keep it
moving and we'll get into some other stuff that we
get to. All right, Colby, So you said F five
is what you get into. But you are a big
home run type of prop player as well.

Speaker 2 (12:26):
Do you look?

Speaker 1 (12:27):
I mean, how do you come up with your card
on a daily basis when it comes to home run hitters?

Speaker 2 (12:32):
Is it pitching matchup? Is there all sorts of magic
that goes into this.

Speaker 4 (12:36):
So I will tell anyone out there that is like
I just want to hit home run bets, don't do that.
None of my plays do. I go in thinking is
this a good price for a home run?

Speaker 3 (12:47):
Without a doubt.

Speaker 4 (12:48):
But I like making the videos and having fun with
it because it's the most electrifying thing that happens in sport.

Speaker 3 (12:53):
So good the home run, it's it's the best.

Speaker 4 (12:56):
The home run derby is ruined because we can't appreciate
every single one of those.

Speaker 3 (13:00):
Just saying now back to what we were talking about.

Speaker 4 (13:03):
My rule is if you like somebody to get a hit,
if it's a good price, if it's worth paying the
price in the juice if it's worth if you like
somebody go over their base problem, sprinkle the home run.
It's just it's a possibility you're getting a good value.
That's if it's good value. If you know what the
player's usual worth is. The value is know that check
it out every single day. You'll find out what the
usual is. Like Shorter's usually around three p fifty four

(13:25):
to fifty range. If it's higher or lower, that's a
gift maybe to some that read it and be like, hey, the.

Speaker 3 (13:31):
Books are trying to say it's gonna happen today. I
don't believe in that. Yeah, but that's really where it is.

Speaker 4 (13:36):
It's like, I like this guy today. I like the
labor tourists to go over his basis. I'll sprinkle on
the home run because it's six six to one to
higher bus that.

Speaker 3 (13:43):
I had today. That's usually what it is, and it's
just luck. Really it gets gambling.

Speaker 4 (13:48):
But when the numbers speak for them to have some success,
I'm like, Okay, they could hit home run today. I
don't typically look at the weather, but when I'm looking
at Sacramento and Tampa this season, I'm gonna be looking
at because Tampa, especially, they're outside, it's gonna be ninety
five degrees. That ball's gonna fly, especially with the short
courts and right at Steinbredder.

Speaker 2 (14:07):
What's going on in Sacramento that's caught your attention so far?
I like the Athletics.

Speaker 3 (14:14):
I like the Athletics a lot.

Speaker 4 (14:15):
Yeah, maybe they'll benefit from that minor league field. I
don't know, but I do have a ticket for them
to make the playoffs this season. I'm just very very
happy that they at least look serious. They they're keeping Butler,
they're keeping Rooker, they're paying guys they usually just let
walk and then they go and shine in other places,

(14:37):
showing me that means you actually want to win. And
I don't think there's any athletic hater out there, so
I think we all want to see that team. They're
kind of like the Browns of baseball. I guess they're
always bad, but they're kind of lovable.

Speaker 3 (14:52):
I want them to be good.

Speaker 4 (14:53):
I've wanted every bad team that I grew up watching
in all across sports to be good, like the Jaguars.

Speaker 3 (14:57):
Wanted them to be good for my whole life for
no reason.

Speaker 1 (15:00):
The Jags, Yeah, that is interesting. Yeah, we have a friend,
a resident host here that's a Jags fan, and it's
mainly from Trevor Lawrence's perspective.

Speaker 2 (15:11):
Now, Trevor Lawrence's discussing, Yeah, Ashton Jens could be the
new new Jaguar player, possibly going top five pick.

Speaker 4 (15:21):
I've stopped paying attention to the draft really because I
just like saying, people who care about the drafts, your
team sucks. No, so so Chicago fans.

Speaker 3 (15:33):
Hey, maybe we get up Dual Carter.

Speaker 4 (15:34):
If they get up Dual Carter, I'll say one thing
about football.

Speaker 3 (15:38):
I will fully be back on the Bears.

Speaker 2 (15:39):
Okay, well, it's funny you say that because I could not.
I barely.

Speaker 1 (15:45):
It didn't register at all for me. The NFL draft.
And it's because the Eagles won the Super Bowl. It's
they won the Super Bowl.

Speaker 2 (15:52):
That's it.

Speaker 3 (15:52):
Your team's good. You don't care, you don't care, you
don't care. I don't know.

Speaker 1 (15:57):
I go, yeah, I go up into line, maybe defensive line.
Other than that, let's keep it moving. Wake me up
when the season kicks off.

Speaker 3 (16:06):
Well, Burks.

Speaker 1 (16:09):
Goby Marshall joining us here having some fun on a Wednesday.

Speaker 2 (16:13):
All right, back over to MLB Big picture.

Speaker 1 (16:15):
Let's talk about the Dodgers and specifically the NL West,
because right now it's pretty jumbled up there. You have
a team in the Padres that I thought would be competing.
I did take a flyer onto Padres only because of
the price. The price was so ridiculous for the Dodgers,
so I just give me something to root for for
one sixty two. So I did take a piece on

(16:35):
the Padres to win the division. Very small, small play.
But you have the Giants there at fifteen and nine.

Speaker 2 (16:40):
The Diamondbacks were an extreme disappointment last year.

Speaker 1 (16:44):
They look like they bounce back. They're fourteen to nine
right now. Is it all fools gold? After one sixty two?
Is it going to be the Dodgers at the top
or is there a team out there out of those
other three the Giants, the Padres, and the Diamondbacks.

Speaker 2 (16:56):
Do you think really will give them a run for
their money.

Speaker 4 (16:59):
I have a future on the Diamondbacks win totally. I
think it'st eighty five and a half. I really liked
that team. I can't believe that they make the playoffs
last year. But in your rotations kind of math and
you give up more runs than you score when you're
top five in scoring, it's kind of insane.

Speaker 3 (17:16):
I think they're gritty.

Speaker 4 (17:17):
I did write down I think a decent price to
look at is the Giants to make the playoffs at
plus one forty five on some books, but I also
have are they.

Speaker 3 (17:26):
Worth dabbling in it? It's April?

Speaker 4 (17:29):
Is it really worth taking a plus one fifty bet
in April? I don't think it is, but I think
it's a decent price that's plus money.

Speaker 3 (17:36):
I was never high on the Giants.

Speaker 4 (17:39):
I was never high on the Podres either, because I
don't know what I didn't know what to expect with them,
so I just had really minimal thoughts. But the Giants
rotation is actually pretty solid. They have a lot of
young talent that is.

Speaker 3 (17:50):
Fun to watch. They're a fun team.

Speaker 4 (17:51):
I think that's the problem with the They're gonna have
be They're gonna be a problem because they're fun. Fun
teams are dangerous. They have really nothing to lose. I
don't think anyone had any expectations for them this season.

Speaker 3 (18:01):
Webb's great.

Speaker 4 (18:02):
I can't think of the other guy off the top
of my dome. But they got Hailey, Ramos Fitzgerald, and yeah,
this is fantastic. Yeah, they're a decent team, and are
they gonna it's tough in that division though, are they
gonna stay successful in that division where there's three other
good teams outside of them?

Speaker 1 (18:19):
It's funny you say they're a fun team and that
frees you up, because that's we were discussing this with
our Phillies insider Luke Arcaney. I think yesterday, if I'm
not mistaken, h yeah, because I played golf on.

Speaker 2 (18:30):
Monday and it was just it was beautiful. It's unbelievable.

Speaker 1 (18:33):
So yesterday I did the show with him and he said,
you know, remember what it was like to be a
fun team with zero expectations. That was the Phillies two
years ago when they went to the World Series and
lost of the Astros.

Speaker 2 (18:42):
Like no, they fired Girardi.

Speaker 1 (18:44):
First month of the season, second month of the season,
nobody had any expectations or plans for postseason run. And
the next thing you know, they're playing in the Fall Classic.
It does change things for that team inside and maybe
you can hit you could bring that over to today
as far as present with this team, with the Phillies team,
it's like they need something new. I just don't know

(19:04):
if it's a new player from Triple A, if it's
a new trade piece. I just don't know, Like it
just feels like, man, there's a lot of pressure on
their shoulders right now. They could just free the energy up.
It would be the best thing possible for them. But
these guys are making crazy money and they should have
all the expectations playing here in Philly.

Speaker 2 (19:22):
So I don't know.

Speaker 4 (19:24):
Yeah, I would just say for the Giants going back
to them, Yeah, ten and six on the road is insane.
Fifteen and nine overall in the season, I just want
to see them come back down to earth a little
bit if unless that's really what they are going to
be this season, I want to I'm curious to know
what they do and at the deadline if they're even
there or if they get worse. So I think they're

(19:45):
really interesting, and I think fun teams are the most
dangerous team in sports.

Speaker 3 (19:49):
They have care well what's their we made the playoffs? W Well,
we weren't supposed to be here. Yeah, so that's dangerous.

Speaker 1 (19:56):
Speaking about fun teams, Go Cubs, go fifteen and ten
and to the on top of essentral right now, Brew
Crew thirteen eleven, Reds eleven and thirteen, Cards ten and fifteen,
Pirates nine and fifteen. It's pretty surprising, tight division, not
so surprising that the Cubs are at the top. They
were favored going in, if I'm not mistaken, right, they were, Yeah,
they were.

Speaker 3 (20:14):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (20:15):
Where do you stand as far as the Cubs? What
do you like so far?

Speaker 1 (20:18):
And is this a team that we need to be
eyeing up potentially for a little bit of an interesting
run over the summer months here.

Speaker 3 (20:24):
I will be there Friday to watch your boys.

Speaker 2 (20:26):
Oh, I can't wait for that. I've never been to Wrigley. Man,
I'm dying. I'm dying here.

Speaker 3 (20:31):
You need to go.

Speaker 2 (20:32):
I need to go now.

Speaker 4 (20:34):
You feel history when you go. It's a weird feeling.
And I'm not even a Cubs fan, and it's it's
worth it. It's really nice. It's awesome. I think it's
better than Fenway. And I went to Fenway last summer.
Wasn't it wasn't I was. I didn't get that feel
that I got from Wrigley. No, we're but the Cubs
playing above expectations. I think right now there was a

(20:54):
stat I saw They're just playing well above where they
should be right now. I don't think the pitching is there.

Speaker 3 (21:01):
Obviously.

Speaker 4 (21:01):
We saw ninety eight runs yesterday and we saw ninety
eight runs the other day. I think the rotation is serviceable.
The bullpen definitely needs help. Every Cubs fans complaining about
the bullpen. But the offense is electrifying, the offense is fun.
I just I really hope they buy the deadline. I
hope they're buying. I hope they become serious because Chicago

(21:24):
fans deserve it.

Speaker 3 (21:25):
Yes, they really do.

Speaker 4 (21:26):
Even though I'm not the biggest fan of all Chicago teams,
but when you have one of.

Speaker 3 (21:31):
The best fan bases in sports, you should be buying.

Speaker 4 (21:34):
You have Disneyland over there at Wrigley Field, and you
want to be the cheapest owner imaginable.

Speaker 3 (21:39):
Oh that's a typical Chicago owner. But they're good. I
was never high on them.

Speaker 4 (21:45):
I was like, Okay, I think the Brewers are a
good price to take to win that division.

Speaker 3 (21:48):
But the Brewers are kind of rocky too.

Speaker 1 (21:51):
Again, April April, the call comes back to April. Man,
that's it, Kyle Tucker. Is he going to remain with
the Chicago Cubs or you think he's a free agent
and somebody else is gonna sign them that whole deal.

Speaker 2 (22:02):
Yeah, I'm sure that's been beaten to death in Chicago.

Speaker 4 (22:06):
You're not gonna bring him in and pay him. I
don't know what to expect. They're they would be hated.
I mean they're probably already hated by their fans somewhat.

Speaker 3 (22:15):
Yeah, you be hated even more not paying a bat
like that? What is he? Top ten player in the league?
Top fifteen if I'm forgetting some names, he's one of
the guys. Yep, he's one of the guys. And he's
overperforming right now.

Speaker 4 (22:25):
Maybe maybe that's how well he's gonna play this season,
but he's playing out of his rear end right now.

Speaker 3 (22:30):
And if you don't pay him, who's on that team? Who? Oh, okay,
I'll give you that.

Speaker 1 (22:36):
Other than that, though, you're right, we got Kobe Marshio
exactly join us right now. A couple quick hitters on
the way out here. First and foremost, it's not looking
good for the fight ends. First and second, h there's
two outs. I take that back. First and second. We're
in the bottom of the ninth right now, and we
will keep you up to date. Francisco Lindor, who's just incredible.

(22:57):
His number surprised the hell out of me. What he's
been able to do in is he's well on his
way to a Hall of Fame career.

Speaker 3 (23:04):
I have a future on him.

Speaker 4 (23:05):
This season it hit thirty home runs paired with Jose Ramira,
So hit all the home runs you want.

Speaker 1 (23:09):
Hey, he's been off to a great start. I'll keep
you up to date if he gets one here as
he has done. I think two already against the Phillies
in this series so far. All right, Colby, a couple
quick ones. First of all, you are doing, of course,
the show. A little bit later today you said, is
there a play that you would might like to recommend
our listening audience. Is there a hitter out there that
you're potentially looking at maybe a little sprinkle on the

(23:31):
home run, definitely coming through it with a base A.
I'm a total basis guy. I love total basses too.
Total bases always play that. Is there a player that
you would recommend right now?

Speaker 3 (23:41):
Uh huh, you teed this up perfect? Nice.

Speaker 2 (23:44):
Nice.

Speaker 3 (23:46):
We're gonna go back to my roots.

Speaker 4 (23:47):
If you didn't know my roots, I'm Italian, so we're
gonna be betting on the Italian Nightmare. If you don't
know who that is, that's Vinnie Pascatino of the Royals.
We're taking his bases at plus one ten and over
to the one and a half, and we're sprinkling on
the home run at eight to one. Now, just I
looked at that first and I was like, why is
it eight to one? Other books have five to one.

(24:08):
That should not be that high. I mean, he is
a guy that's a double machine. But that is well
worth paying anything that high. Eight to one, nine to one,
ten to one, and you like the guy to at
least go his bases, it's well worth sprinkling on the
home run. Has not gone over the basis prop since
the eighteenth of April, has not Homer since the twelfth.

Speaker 3 (24:28):
I wrote in my notes, is he do? Can we
say that? I always say that when I like somebody,
So He's due.

Speaker 4 (24:34):
So has an elite rating on batteris hyphenbox dot com
has eighteen elite ratings in his career. On that website,
sixty one percent of the time records a hit goes
over this prop thirty three percent of the time. Not
the sexiest trend there goes over one and a half
h to the double r fifty five percent of the time.
Homer's twenty two percent of the time. Does not have
the sexiest trench. But let's talk about Herman Marquez, who

(24:57):
has an eight twenty seven ERA.

Speaker 2 (25:00):
The Rockeys are brutal, bro the Rockies are brutal.

Speaker 4 (25:04):
That that, but for poor fan base. You have cool jerseys,
terrible team. That's usually how it is in sports. The
coolest jerseys have the.

Speaker 1 (25:12):
Worst players and the hilarious and the Rockies ended up
signing the helmet Chris Bryant.

Speaker 2 (25:19):
There you go, that was the money that they spent
all the money on him. And what did you mistake?
That was? Guy can't even want to be there.

Speaker 4 (25:25):
But there's more to talk about, mister Hermont. We gotta
get all to these stats.

Speaker 3 (25:29):
Please.

Speaker 4 (25:30):
Gross last three starts has allowed five plus hits, four
plus runs. He has a bad bit of three sixty four,
a little bit above average, but he's that.

Speaker 3 (25:38):
Bad, so I understand why it's that high. Sixty three
percent of his pitches are below league value.

Speaker 4 (25:43):
According to Fangrafts, his average pitch is a negative two
to one three.

Speaker 3 (25:46):
That's just not a good pitch at all.

Speaker 4 (25:48):
He has a poor average hitter matchup Iso extremely high
hard contact and has a low averagehitter matchup pay percentage.
Vinnie Pastino has a plus twenty two percent heart contact
change against Marquez and has prety good numbers against his repertoire.
I think it as well worth a plus one ten sprinkle,
and especially the eight to one home run that is
just super high.

Speaker 1 (26:07):
Well, let's give him a roaring round of applause on
that one. Vinnie Pascatino breakdown her mom Marcus for the
Colorado Rockies. We'll see how this one plays out, all right, Coleby,
Let's have some fun on the way out here. Sarah
fire up the game show music. First time daily ticket debut.
I feel like we know each other very well. Of course,
live on the line, alum, it speaks volumes there.

Speaker 2 (26:31):
I like to cheat. I'm a big cheater, right. I
work out in the morning.

Speaker 1 (26:35):
I forget, like what the workout, the exercises from the trainer.
I'm in this like whatever group Alma brag and I look.

Speaker 2 (26:41):
Over and I'm like, you know, I feel like I'm
in high school again, trying to cheat off of her.

Speaker 1 (26:44):
Oh that's the exercise, all right. So I use chat
GBT here. Everybody's favorite, and I throw in MLB fun
questions and it gives me a few different categories to
choose from. So I'm gonna go with one from E
You're ready, yes, all right, Here we go.

Speaker 2 (27:02):
Here we go. First one, Hot takes and hypotheticals. Would
you rather have a lineup of nine Bryce Harper's or
a rotation of five?

Speaker 5 (27:13):
Garrett Coles Kobe, Oh my god, that's a good one
day you're going, Garrett Cole, All right, I like that.

Speaker 2 (27:26):
Let's see here, which what's the one underdog team you
define underdog here that you would sprinkle on a World Series?

Speaker 3 (27:34):
Future Diamondbacks?

Speaker 2 (27:38):
Oh I like that. Yeah, they've been impressed.

Speaker 3 (27:40):
And Rangers. I have them to be in the World Series.

Speaker 2 (27:43):
What do you like about the.

Speaker 3 (27:44):
Rangers that I was hoping you were? Asked you about them?
Because there's bats need to come alive. Jock Peterson's not
in fifteen fifteen.

Speaker 1 (27:53):
He hasn't got a base hit since like April third.
I think, yeah, I saw that this morning.

Speaker 3 (27:57):
They should be good.

Speaker 4 (27:58):
They should be better than what they they're in first place.
They should be better. Moving on, moving on?

Speaker 2 (28:02):
All right, Final one, final one, Here we go, Here
we go, Here we go, should baseball embrace more bat
flips and trash talk?

Speaker 4 (28:11):
Colby I said when people were getting up in arms
about the bat flips, I don't care if they shuck
that bat into the stands and kill a couple of people.

Speaker 3 (28:19):
It's a home run. It's a home run. How many
of us hit one of those in our lives? None
of us?

Speaker 2 (28:24):
Yeah? Exactly.

Speaker 4 (28:25):
Oh I said it.

Speaker 3 (28:26):
When I was well. Shut up. It wasn't off of
ninety five basketball ninety five spider, shut up.

Speaker 2 (28:31):
Nice wear a Colby across the board. We'll give you
the organ there.

Speaker 1 (28:35):
Great job man, excellent stuff. Daily ticket debut once again, Colby.
People can find you on all things socials. You do
a bang up job. Are you just straight up on X?
Do you do Instagram? You got TikTok? You do anything else?

Speaker 4 (28:47):
TikTok is so tough. I'm mostly all the contents really
on AX, same Twitter or whatever the cool kids call it.
So if you want to follow me on there, come
have fun. That's all I want to do. It's it's betting.
We're betting on sports. We're betting on baseball. It's not serious.
It's fun.

Speaker 3 (29:00):
Stop taking yourself seriously. We're not gonna win every day.
It's fun.

Speaker 1 (29:03):
It's fun except for tonight when Vinnie Pascatino goes yard.

Speaker 3 (29:08):
I'll have the most Italian video of all time.

Speaker 1 (29:10):
Fee Homers can't wait, man, awesome stuff on the timeline.
Keep it coming. We'll be doing this again.

Speaker 2 (29:16):
Sarah. Can't thank you enough for stopping on. You're the best.
Good luck on those plays, Go Royals. We'll catch up later.

Speaker 3 (29:23):
Sir, Thank you, sir.

Speaker 2 (29:24):
A going my man. There he is once again, Colby
Marshio on the Gambler stream.

Speaker 1 (29:31):
Fantastic job across the board if you like. But he's selling.
Tell me at Fox Pho Gambler. At Fox Pho Gambler,
we are in extras. And not only that. Nick Castianos

(29:52):
comes through now. Harper opened up the inning on second.
Of course he's on third.

Speaker 2 (29:58):
I don't know.

Speaker 1 (29:58):
I had my head down, no idea, but Castiano's base
hit to left.

Speaker 6 (30:02):
Harper scores. How about that? The fightings, ah lord, are
up by one top of the tent, three to two.
Edwin Diaz coughing it up. You gotta love that, Hey,
you also have to love Mark Henry Jr. He's joining
me on the other other side because we.

Speaker 1 (30:19):
Are talking a little bit about the NFL Draft.

Speaker 2 (30:24):
I got all the bells and whistles going today.

Speaker 1 (30:27):
Once again, get involved in the conversation at Box PHL Gambler,
don't go anywhere. Let's talk about a Phillies victory on
the other side and the NFL Draft with Mark Henry Jr.

Speaker 2 (30:35):
More War after this
