Speaker 4 (03:19):

every Saturday until we crown a national champion in January.

(03:42):
And I just said, you know what, why why why

Speaker 3 (04:15):
Anyways, We've got a lot to get to.

Speaker 4 (04:17):
Bottom line is today's a day that of course, it's
great to have football back in our lives.

Speaker 3 (04:24):
It is any distraction right now.

Speaker 5 (04:25):
That is correct is good, and sports is the best
distraction and best escape of them all always Sports.

And then at six o'clock.

Speaker 4 (05:13):
Swing It and Ding It brand new episode of Swinging
and Ding It, followed by Football Is King with Nick
McLay and Ryan Beef Quail. So keep it locked right
here to the Gambler. We got you covered. With that
being said, let's open up with the Phillies real quick.
Before we get into the world of football, and it's
just important to shine the light on what they're doing
right now, and that is a they're going for the sweep.

(05:34):
I'm not trying to say that it's already happening, although
I do feel that it will happen this evening.

Speaker 3 (05:39):
But they are beating.

Speaker 4 (05:40):
Up a Mets squad that got the best of them
a couple weeks in fact, got the best of them
two times when they went.

Speaker 3 (05:47):
To City Field.

Speaker 4 (05:48):
But here they are, of course done at Citizens Bank
and three straight, including last night eleven to three victory.
Max Kapler, as you heard lighting it up, Bryce Harper,
I saw your people.

Speaker 3 (05:59):
Of course, she hits a home run.

Speaker 4 (06:00):
They're up by eight, like you people, Come on, guys,
got twenty five on here, like relax, relax. But it's
great to see the Phillies back on the winning ways
and that magic number down down to seven the division
what nine? I want to say, t We're up ten ten, Okay,
so right around the corner getting all that accomplished. It's
gonna be a fun September. Anything you would like to

(06:22):
add on to.

Speaker 5 (06:23):
The conversation, Sam, I mean, it's nice when you beat
your rival at home, and you win this series three
at three so far, going for four out of four tonight,
and you have a ten game lead, So like, the
division's wrapped up, right with with a three weeks or so,
I think seventeen games around something like that to go
in the regular season, you can pretty much say the
division's wrapped up and this series that was the goal.
It was, let's win this series to wrap up the division.

(06:45):
So regardless of what happens to night, when you have
a double digit division lead going into seventeen games left
in the season, you gotta feel pretty good at that.
But what I've been most encouraged by is when you
have Trey Turner go down, and you have Alec Bohm
go down, and you've had next man up this series.
And look, the Mets there are division rival, they should
be in the playoffs, but they've also been one of

(07:06):
the worst teams in baseball since the All Stars.

Speaker 3 (07:08):
That's true, they've been pretty bad.

Speaker 5 (07:10):
And that's why it was so embarrassing that we couldn't
beat them at City Field. And that's still a problem
of how we have to come back and win on
the road, especially against the Mets if we face them
in the playoffs. But what you like to see is
the next man up from different guys like Harrison Batter
has been awesome. Oh what a trade deadline acquisition, but
by this team because he just had three straight games

(07:30):
of at least two hits against the Mets against the division.

Speaker 3 (07:32):
Arrival at home. He's been great.

Speaker 5 (07:34):
And you talk about this Max Kepler and the platoon
that they're doing in outfield. It's been working, and everything's
working right now, even when you have guys like Trey
Turner who's out for now, should be back for the
back for the playoffs, and you have Alec Bowe who
should be back in a week or two, and then
Zach Wheeler goes down. Aaron Nola obviously pitched a gym
to open this series up.

Speaker 3 (07:54):
So you're having next man up.

Speaker 5 (07:55):
When guys are going down, and that's what you want
to see because that's what happens with World Series teams.

Speaker 4 (07:59):
Well, we will continue to talk some baseball a little
bit later in the program, taking a look at some
of the numbers that matter, specifically wildcard tiebreaker.

Speaker 3 (08:08):
Yes and no.

Speaker 4 (08:09):
Markets really intrigued, been paying a ton of attention to it.
And if the Mets don't figure it out. I know,
I don't think they're gonna get the job done this evening.
But if they don't figure it out, I don't believe
that they're going to be in the playoffs. I think
this team is leaking too much oil at the wrong time.

Speaker 3 (08:24):
You got to be playing your best baseball now.

Speaker 5 (08:26):
And they still a two game lead over the Giants
and the Mora excuse me and the Reds. Red's correct,
who are with the other teams in the wildcard hunts?
So yeah, I mean, they're playing pretty poor baseball. If
it keeps up that they obviously could slip, but they're
still in.

Speaker 3 (08:38):
That final wildcard spot for now.

Speaker 4 (08:40):
Hey, Susuzardo on the malamtus one thirty one favorite at
the Citizens Bank seven to fifteen first pitch plus one
oh seven for David Peterson eight and a half.

Speaker 3 (08:50):
How about nine to eleven you get the Mets in town? Yeah?
Nine on the How old were you innight or even more?
Six months? Wow? Six months? O? Have We've forgotten? S
doesn't even remember?

Speaker 4 (09:00):
No?

Speaker 3 (09:02):
Have we forgotten? Is a song? Hell we for that?
I was it? Alan Jackson. It's five o'clock somewhere. Have
we Forgotten? That might have been who knows.

Speaker 5 (09:14):
Yeah, I was six months old. Idn't even think about
that when you talk about sports is a unifier, which
which is what you.

Speaker 3 (09:19):
Need right now. We were all gathered back in those days.

Speaker 5 (09:22):
I mean, of course I remember the not remember, but
have seen the videos of the George Bush first pitch.
Oh even twenty eleven when I was ten years old
when they captured Osama Ben lad.

Speaker 3 (09:32):
We were gather there, babe, all.

Speaker 5 (09:34):
Around baseball stadiums, all around the country. Ye when when
they were chaining USA USA. Sports is a unifying time
and that's what it's used for right now. And yeah
it is not eleven.

Speaker 1 (09:43):
You know.

Speaker 5 (09:43):
Sometimes you just you go by the county, you forget,
you forget the days twenty four years I was six
months old.

Speaker 3 (09:49):
Very uh.

Speaker 4 (09:50):
Yeah, it's ridiculous when you look back and think about
that those times and just how fast twenty four years
blew right by, and where I was in that moment.
Of course, everyone's you know, always tells you the story
where they were. But for me, I will bring up
the fact that when we got bin Lotten and I
was in Vegas celebrating my thirtieth birthday.

Speaker 3 (10:10):
Wow, and I was passed out.

Speaker 4 (10:12):
After partying hard at Rehab at the hard Rock all day,
and I woke up.

Speaker 3 (10:18):
My boys antique to me, do you know what antiquing is.

Speaker 4 (10:22):
It's something that Jackass started, Bammar Jared, Johnny Knoxville. And
what it is is you take baby powder, clump it
up in your hand and throw it off the head.
Really and so like they did it while I was sleeping.
So I smack you across the head. I don't even
get No, you don't hit them, you throw in your hand.
I'll do it to you this weekend, alright, So it

(10:44):
didn't get antiqued, right, So anyways, I wake up, No
one's in the room. I'm just it's Vegas. It's my
thirtieth birthday, Vegas. I was a reab, which was the
party of all parties as far as day parties are
concidered out there for years. And all I know is
I'm like this. I had hairback in those days. I'm

(11:04):
looking on I'm nothing, right, no, nothing, And then all
of a sudden, I'm sitting on the couch. I don't
even think I looked in the mir yet, so I
have no idea. This stuff is not what I look like. Whatever,
And I'm just sitting on the couch and then there
it is. The Phillies and Mets were playing and on
the crawl ba blah blah blah blah, upseven been lot

(11:25):
and capsure. I got goosebumps just saying it. I call
the old man. I'm just gone. I'm still, like, you know, recovering,
but you know this half in the bag. I call
the old man. I'm crying with my dad. The boys come,
the Calvalry comes back to the room because we got
ben lad get up, get it, We're going up. Let
me tell you it was an excuse to go out

(11:47):
for the night. Well, we were going out to celebrate.
We were going out no matter what to celebrate. But
let me tell you, walking through that casino, everywhere we
were USA Chance going, we were all brought together. Man,
you're exactly right. We were all one, one country under
a groove at that point in time. And yeah, things
are extremely different, to say the least in twenty twenty five,

(12:09):
but that was a good memory to revisit there. Anyways,
nine to eleven and the New York Mets are in town,
so I know that there's going to be some honoring
of some firefighters down there at the game that nobody
does it better than the Phillies and that team as
far as you know, in game day displays and and
showing pride and doing things the right way for people

(12:31):
that deserve to be honored. The Phillies are going to
roll out the carpet and then some. So I thought
it was pretty cool if you're heading down to the game,
love to hear your thoughts at Fox Pho Gambler, get
involved in the conversation. And oh, by the way, break
out the brooms, babe, break out the brooms.

Speaker 3 (12:45):
With that being said, let's do it.

Speaker 1 (12:47):
Sam the daily ticket opening dry, no warm ups, no stretching,
just straight into the action.

Speaker 3 (12:58):
Tursay Night football. Let's go. What a matchup to open
Thursday night, really open Thursdays.

Speaker 5 (13:03):
Let me tell you this game's got me fired off,
especially for US Eagles fans. I mean, these are our competitors, Yes,
these are the ones chasing us.

Speaker 4 (13:11):
The question you have to ask yourself, or at least
I'm asking myself, is who's real and who's not. Twenty
seven to thirteen Green Bay beat down the Detroit Lions
and Week one of course on Sunday, short week for
both teams here twenty one to six, the Commanders beat
the New York Giants.

Speaker 3 (13:29):
Who's real? Who's not?

Speaker 4 (13:31):
Is there somebody that's a fraud in this game? Were
you more impressed one way or the other?

Speaker 3 (13:37):
Sam? In Week one? As far as those victories are concerned.

Speaker 4 (13:40):
Commanders over the Giants, Green Bay Packers over the Lions.

Speaker 3 (13:43):
Who's real? In your mind? The Packers over you?

Speaker 5 (13:46):
And I'm not getting off my train that the Commanders
are gonna have regression this year and I don't have
them in the playoffs. And nothing about that Week one
game changed my mind.

Speaker 3 (13:55):
Nothing.

Speaker 5 (13:55):
I mean, they played the New York Football Giants, thank you,
with Russell Wilson at quarterback, Like where your mind is,
there's not a lot. And they didn't even dominate the game.
I mean, the Giants had some red zone woes kept
them off. They were all flowing in the red zone too.
And Russell Wilson can't throw a forward pass anymore. We're
just times taking until Jackson Dart his career really launches.
And Russell Wilson will never be a starter in this

(14:17):
league after this year. Again, So this is an awful
team right now that the Giants are their offensive line
is decimated. They couldn't score in the red zone. There
was nothing impressive from the Commanders that I saw, except
for the fact that they had one of the worst
rushing defenses in the league last year. The Commanders correct
they did a great job of stopping the Giants running backs,
and look, that's partly on the Giants offensive line, who

(14:39):
was one of the worst run block lines in the
league last year. But that was still impressive because the
Commanders went out and got some free agents to shore
up that defensive front, and they did a better job
against the run because that was their weakness last year.
They were one of the best passing defenses and one
of the worst rushing defenses.

Speaker 3 (14:53):
So there was some promise there.

Speaker 5 (14:55):
But again, they were playing the New York Football Giants,
one of the worst organizations we've seen over the last
five years in the NFL. So there's nothing nothing promising
that I saw that that gives me hope that the
Commanders aren't going to regress this year. The Packers, on
the other hand, okay, their defense was unbelievable and Michael
Parsons didn't even play that many snaps when he was

(15:16):
great when he's in YEP twenty nine snaps. He was
great when he's in. Obviously, you have to double team
when when he's on. He's on when he's on the field,
and he was rushing from rush, from right, from left,
from the inside, he was rushing from all over, and
you could when he's on the field, you can use
him in so many unique ways and it forces a
double team which opens up other rushing opportunities. But that
entire Packer's defense in front was unbelievable. Getting to Jered

(15:38):
Golf and the Lions of their own woes lie still,
the Lions are a good team. That was so impressive defensively,
and forget about all offense. I think Jordan Love is
one of the best quarterbacks in the league. I think
he could be an MVP candidate. They have a really
deep receiving corps. We know what Josh Jacobs says, but
that Packers defensive front was so impressive. I'm really impressed
with this Packers team. And nothing really sold me on
the Commander. So you know where I'm leaving tonight. It's

(16:00):
where I'm at as well.

Speaker 4 (16:02):
It's a short week, of course, both teams, no doubt
about that, but you have to give the edge somewhat
to the Green Bay Packers because of their home. So
I start my my handicapping there. Whether that's wrong or right,
teach their own on that. I know that there's some
history as far as there's a night football that you
can go back and figure like it was beneficial for
the away team whatever. After week one, I'll take the

(16:24):
go pack go at home after what they showed us.
And this is my second part of my handicap, is
that what you said the defense, and then when you're
adding Parsons, who's going to get extended a little bit
more more than twenty nine snaps, a little bit more
accustomed knowing what he's doing. It really felt like it was, Hey,
Mike could get in there, tap him on the helmet,
go rush the passer, which, okay, that's probably going to

(16:45):
work out, no doubt about that. But now you can
get a little bit more creative with them, should know
the playbook a little bit more, open things up, maybe
change him. He's a little bit more comfortable. Hell, he
even said he didn't even know that they were getting announced.
Pregame like he was throwing way off his his his
normal uh pregame self in that game one and that's understood.

(17:05):
So I think he's a little bit more natural in
tonight's game. That's where it starts for me what Michael
Parsons is on the defense side of the ball. I
like that secondary. That pass rush was ridiculous, especially what
you said with the defensive front. You're talking about the
Detroit Lions, who had one of the most explosive offenses,
if the most explosive offense last year. I know, no
Ben Johnson, but still the names the league game, the

(17:27):
name state is same.

Speaker 5 (17:28):
Yeah, regardless of the play cooler that the personnel is
all bad Gibbs.

Speaker 4 (17:32):
Gibbs is the real damn deal. I could, I will
make the cases the top five back. I could make
the cases the top three back. You know saque Barkley,
Saquon Barkley. I'm not gonna put him above him, but
for me, for my money, I've always been a Gibbs guy.
So what he did in Game one against the or
what he did in Game one against the Green Bay.

Speaker 3 (17:50):
Packers defense is laughable.

Speaker 4 (17:53):
And I know that we want to point the finger
at the fact that Ben Johnson is no longer there.
I know that that's part of the equation. Green Bay
was after Detroit. They were buzzing, they were flying. They
gave me a vibe of last year's Eagles team defensive
wise in that first game. Now you can tell me
overreaction you're lying. Whatever, it was game one, this is

(18:15):
what I was seeing. They were buzzing. There were four
or five guys around the ball every single tackle. And
that's the type of thing that the Eagles did relentlessly
last year. So that's one of the things that stood
out to me the most. And the fact that they
were able to shut down that run game. What gives
in Montgomery the fact that Jared Goff couldn't even throw
the ball down the field. He didn't have time. He
didn't have time. He took one shot over twenty yards.

(18:38):
He did not have time. That's not a fluke tonight.
It's the Packers. It's three and a half. I hate
the hook, hate the hook, but I'm willing to give
it three and a half. Let's go, go, pack Go.
I don't think this is even enough.

Speaker 3 (18:51):
For debates, so am I.

Speaker 5 (18:52):
And the biggest reason is because this is Thursday night football,
three days of rest. Yeah, it's not Week eight where
your bodies are really tired and all that it's weak too. Sure,
it's still Thursday night football, three days of rest after
playing on Sunday. This is the oldest roster in the NFL,
the Commanders versus the youngest spitting in the NFL, in
the Green Bay Packers. When you're talking about coming off

(19:13):
three days of rest, and I already think the Packers
are more talented. But just that factor where it's a
really young team with the Packers that their body's gonna
feel good, they're gonna cover quickly versus an old team
and the Commanders. And that's part of the reason why
I think the Commanders regress as a hole this season
because of how old that roster is. But I'm giving
the edge that younger, more talented group one hundred times
out of one hundred.

Speaker 3 (19:33):
So that's why I'm with you on the Packers.

Speaker 4 (19:35):
Look, they have some playmakers on offense. It's one thing
that it goes through my mind where I'm like, all right,
you know, can the Commanders like go tick for tack
and score for score with the Green Bay offense if
they're able to hit it, uh, you know, potentially, But
like I said, it comes back to that defense.

Speaker 3 (19:52):
So that's Number one so now it's flip side.

Speaker 4 (19:54):
Can the Green Bay offense put points up on the
board against the Commanders.

Speaker 3 (19:59):
I'll start with you that.

Speaker 4 (20:00):
What is your take as far as the Packers offense
competing against that Commander's defense. I know you said you
love Jordan Love and that's understood, But what else are
you seeing from that Packers' offense that makes you feel
like they're to play?

Speaker 5 (20:11):
Yeah, So part of it is what I was talking
about with the Commanders earlier, was they had one of
the worst rush.

Speaker 3 (20:16):
Defenses in the league last year, and they.

Speaker 5 (20:18):
Did a lot to shore up that defensive front, and
it looked good against Giants. The Giants run game, but
that's the Giants offensive line, and that's the Giants backs,
and that's the Giants offensive hole. It's a completely different
beast when you're playing the Packers and that offensive line.
So I'm not completely sold that the Commanders have completely
fixed their run defense.

Speaker 3 (20:35):
I'm not sold on that just yet.

Speaker 5 (20:36):
Obviously, we know the Packers have Josh Jacobs, who scored
in like ten straight games or something. He's been he's
been awesome, and that they rely on that run game
and him a ton. So if the Commanders can't stop him,
and their defensive front continues to struggle like it did
last season against the run, then the Packers are gonna
be if they can open up that run game and
then let Jordan Love cook from there. That's a completely

(20:58):
different Like the Commanders have no chance in that situation.
So I think it starts with the run game and
whether the Commanders can stop the rush game. But then
you look at Jordan Love and his receivers, they don't
have any like superstars. Ye when you go through their
depth chart with Jaden Reed, Matt Golden only had a
couple catches yes last week, but I still think he's Like,
I think he's gonna be one of the rookies of
the year, but also one of the best receivers in

(21:20):
league in the next few years. I'm a huge Matt
gold fan out of Texas. Then Tucker Crafted tight end,
Romeo Dibbs, all these guys like this is a really
deep receiving corps, and I think Jordan Love's talented enough
where he can hit guys consistently, and this is gonna
go to be a huge offensive outing for the Packers
against Commanders defense not entirely proven.

Speaker 4 (21:43):
Good offensive line for Green Bay, so they did not
get sacked. And you know that Detroit has some pretty
good pass rushers over there, and including Hutchinson who did
get into Jordan Love's face, but he did not get home.

Speaker 3 (21:53):
So no sacks last week.

Speaker 4 (21:56):
And that's one of the things that stood out to
me when you're looking at some recap the tape and
of course looking at some of the box scorer and
the stats and trends for tonight's game on the offensive
side for Jordan Love, You're right, it wasn't all that
great for Jordan Love. There was a play that he
did throw an interception, and we know that he does
have that in his bag, but I don't hate it.

(22:18):
He's being aggressive taking some shots, but man, when he's
on you saw that one ball over the middle for
the touchdown. It was just a thing of beauty, really
dice in the defense and just sliding it in, you know,
inside such a small window to fit that ball. But
he did work it to over eight wide receivers I
think nine total wide receivers cup passes in that game.

(22:39):
And the fact again that they're able to just control
it on defense. They held the Detroit Lions to fifty
yards rushing. I know the Commanders want to come in
and run the football. I think that they're going to control,
of course, where that ball is as far as you know,
keeping the ball and the commander's side of the field

(23:00):
their territory.

Speaker 3 (23:01):
I think that's gonna work out for them.

Speaker 4 (23:02):
Shorten the feel for Jordan Love in that Green Bay offense,
and I think they're gonna put up points three, three
and a half. It's frustrating as far as the hook
is concerned, but that's the price you gotta pay to
bet the green Bay Packers at home Thursday night football.

Speaker 3 (23:15):
I'm willing to do it. Green Bay is to play
for me time. I also think Jordan Love.

Speaker 5 (23:19):
People forget that Jordan Love is a great rush running
quarterback too. And he only had a couple carries for
not like four yards against the Lions, but that's a
great Lions defensive front.

Speaker 3 (23:29):
He was injured all of last year, even got hurt
against the Eagle.

Speaker 5 (23:32):
He got hurt in the very first game against Eagles
training camp in juriy a groin, knee, his toe, finger,
all of it. Like he was so injured last year,
it was an accurate representation of what he can be
as a rusher because he was holding back because he
was injured obviously, but I think, and I didn't see
it against the Lions great defensive front, I think.

Speaker 3 (23:48):
He unleashes as a rusher.

Speaker 5 (23:49):
And it's similar to the Jalen Hurts Saquon Barkley factor,
where you when you have Saquon, you have a great
offensive line, it opened so much up when you won
some of those Reid options for the quarterback. Like Jalen
Hurts is such a lethal threat as a rusher, not
just because he can take off his legs, but because
he has Saquon Barkley and behind a great offensive line.
So I think you're gonna see Matt Lafleur open that
run game up for Jordan Love a lot more with

(24:10):
the threat of Josh Jacobs buying a great offensive line,
and we know we can sling the football. So I
think it's a big running game against an again an
unproving Commander's running defense. But also when Jordan Love has
to sit back and throw out of the pocket, he's
more than capable of that.

Speaker 4 (24:24):
So I'm really high on the Packers. Forty eight and
a half is our total there three and a half.
As I said on DraftKings sports book. If you're a
new user out there, you don't have DraftKings, please download
the app and use braces to promo Coo. Let him
know that you're listening to us here on the Gambler's
a lot of good things being given away by.

Speaker 3 (24:40):
DK, including that ghost lag. Did you use the ghost leg?

Speaker 5 (24:44):
I didn't, but I heard about a lot of people.
A lot of people were raving about it.

Speaker 4 (24:48):
I got the roaring route of applause for DK the
ghost lag. Man, if you're not aware of what the
ghost lag is, all you gotta do is bet a
same game parlay. Is it four or five? I think
it might be five. I gotta read up on that.
But I ended up cashing in because of I took
the under in the Sunday night football game where they

(25:11):
scored eighty two total points. I had the under and
that one nice work brace. But the ghost leg I
was able to cash in, and it's something you gotta
take advantage of. It's like, especially in the beginning of
the year. DraftKings they do it better than all of
the other sports books out there with everything that they offer.
All you gotta do is click the box. As far

(25:31):
as the tabs. The promo tabs is concerned. And then
when you place your wager, it's gonna have a little
tab that you must click, and then that brings you
into the ghost leg and then all of a sudden,
what you can do from there is, of course, if
you lose one leg, you cash in your parlay. So
four out of five hit you win. If three out
of five hit you lose, they're only giving you one

(25:53):
ghost leg. I love the name ghost Lag too.

Speaker 3 (25:55):
It is. It is a good name. Yeah, you gotta
take advantage of that. That's a great deal. It is
a great deal. All right. So one quick question. There's
a Knight football. Who's scoring tonight? I like Jordan Love
to get in the end zone with his legs legs
Jordan Love.

Speaker 5 (26:08):
Yeah, yeah. I also could see a huge Matt Golden game.

Speaker 3 (26:13):
Jordan Love plus five point fifty eight anytime touchdown.

Speaker 4 (26:18):
I like that, all right, you heard it from Sam.
You can't deny that you got a wager on it now, Matt, Yeah,
I do. Matt Golden also is plus two ninety.

Speaker 5 (26:26):
I think he has a lot of targets tonight, really
not target to night, all right. I think the Packers
are gonna score a ton points here, so I would
take their team total. And if you're gonna if you
think the Packer's gonna score a lot, you might as
well take some flyers on their anytime touchdown.

Speaker 4 (26:38):
Guys, all right, need the Green Bay Packers defense to
show up because you know that the Commanders are capable
of scoring points as they did against the Detroit Lions
last year. Of course they threw up twenty plus against
the Giants, but the Giants are got awful.

Speaker 3 (26:49):
We'll see what happens tonight in Green Bay.

Speaker 4 (26:51):
From DK Network DraftKings Network, Julian Edlin's gonna join us
on the other side. We'll get his thoughts and all
things Thursday Night Football Deep Dive. Of course, he's had
a great breakdown across the board for DK Network. We'll
take a look at everything that he has put out
there this week, including some of the big games in
college football and NFL Week two Survivor plays. Roy Burton

(27:14):
checking in that ghost leg promo came up huge. Save
me from that egg. Mark Andrews lad, Yeah, Mark Andrews
did lay an egg. A couple people laid an egg
in that game, except for Zay Flowers. Josh Allen and
Lamar Jackson. Oh and Derek Henry too. But other than that,
it feels like everybody else was non existent. All right,
we got a lot to do here joined that though.

(27:35):
Coming up on the other side, four o'clock, hot, we're
gonna talk all things college football, big big games. I
can't wish, Yeah, man, I can.

Speaker 5 (27:41):
There pretty boring Week TWOA whoa, come on, all things
considered football is back.

Speaker 3 (27:46):
You're right, you're right, But I mean I was. I
was watching the Clemson Troy game. I was like, all right,
give us something, Troy. That's a good game. I'm saying,
give us something. I want a huge, huge upset. But
then Clemson just smoked them.

Speaker 4 (27:57):
Notre Dame, Texas, Adam Useth, Miami, Georgia, TENNSC, Vandy, South Carolina.

Speaker 3 (28:06):
The list goes on and on. Let's go college football
coming your way at four o'clock. We'll get Julian Needlow's
take on a few of those as well.

Speaker 4 (28:13):
Alabama, Wisconsin, I could keep it going, Villanova, Penn's the
biggest one you buried the league.

Speaker 3 (28:18):
Do we have a number on that? I put them out? Yeah,
I was looking and those one number that's not there.

Speaker 5 (28:24):
Yeah, they don't come. I dam it might even be
the day of the game. I guess fifty. I was
gonna say forty eight and a half. Yeah, the the
look aheadline did have that there.

Speaker 3 (28:35):
It is. Penn State hasn't there, it is, it's up.
What'd you say?

Speaker 4 (28:39):
I said, Penn State hasn't covered? No, would you say
you're in your guest forty eight and a half close?
You were definitely closer to me. Forty seven. Wow, Villanova
is a forty seven and a half point. I'm taking Nova. Yeah,
I'm taking hasn't covered either game?

Speaker 3 (28:54):
Is here?

Speaker 5 (28:54):
James Franklin is supposed to be the guy that covers
these huge spreads, and they haven't covered either game this year.

Speaker 3 (29:00):
Oh my goodness. Forty seven. We got coach front coming
into show tomorrow.

Speaker 4 (29:04):
Coach me, what do you think about being a forty
seven and a half point underdog?

Speaker 3 (29:08):
Do you even think about that? They played a couple
of years Yeah.

Speaker 4 (29:12):
Well, and it was it was close in the first
half and then they got blow Yeah.

Speaker 5 (29:16):
They played in twenty one. The final score was thirty
eight to seventeen. So I don't know what that number was,
but I'm assume they covered if they only won by
if they Villanova covered, if they only lost by twenty one.

Speaker 4 (29:25):
Nova's keeping it close. Definitely, They're not losing by forty
eight or plus. No way, no way, And we're not leaving, Sam,
We're not leaving.

Speaker 3 (29:34):
All right, Julian Hedlow. On the other side, we're having
some fun.

Speaker 4 (29:36):
Trust me, if you're with us, do not go anywhere
you don't want to miss Julian more after this.

Speaker 1 (29:40):
From Tusca Loosa to the Big House Saturday. Start here
our what's it?

Speaker 3 (29:46):
Chris got it?

Speaker 1 (29:47):
And that's the fuck your home for all things college
football coverage. It's the Gambler.
