Tick it.
Speaker 4 (00:22):
We're running three wide live. Joining us here on a Thursday.
We're making this a thing.
Speaker 2 (00:27):
Damn it.
Speaker 4 (00:29):
I don't care if it's the summertime. I know it
was a national holiday. Yeah, so that kind of you know,
makes everything change just a little bit last week. But
Natalie Aguanoff's gonna be joining us every Thursday and then
some trust me when I tell you that with football
season right around the corner.
Speaker 3 (00:43):
But excited to have Natalie.
Speaker 4 (00:45):
With us at iHeartRadio if you missed that two weeks ago,
and she'll be joining us every Thursday for the five
o'clock hour. Sam Austry from the Score, I am Sean
Brace and as I said, the great Natalie Aggonoff with us. Natalie,
how are we doing today? How's everything going on in
your world?
Speaker 2 (01:00):
Good? Everything's great. Finally cooled down from the last two days.
I spent a lot of time in the extreme heat
that I normally wouldn't outside doing outside activities.
Speaker 3 (01:11):
I know one you went to the Phillies Mets games
Sunday night? Was that hot?
Speaker 2 (01:15):
That was hot? So I guess three things I do?
And then I went to one of the soccer games
on Tuesday. Yeah, it was wow, Tunisia versus Chelsea. There's
a longer name, it's Esperenza. I can't recall it right now.
Speaker 3 (01:32):
Too hot.
Speaker 2 (01:32):
It was insane. This is a different kind of hot,
like you know when you're hot and it's in the
sun and it just there was nowhere to go. It
was dark. It's like soupy.
Speaker 3 (01:42):
I know they're trying to play out the World Cup.
Speaker 2 (01:43):
Oh, I will tell you. I think we need to
sing more together as fans soccer. Yeah, they were singing, dancing.
I mean it was it was actually it was a
really really cool experience, really great environment. So that was
event number two in the heat. And then event number
three in the heat was the big deal down in
Sea Isle yesterday with Jason Kelsey's Team sixty two events,
(02:04):
which again was so hot.
Speaker 3 (02:06):
All right, so real quick on the singing and stuff.
It's funny you say that.
Speaker 4 (02:11):
So we broadcasted live on Friday from Insfinity Live for
the Mets and Phillies game one my father in law
came and he was like, dude, and because there was
a Chelsea game right across the street at two o'clock
they played. It was ridiculous, traffic was insane.
Speaker 2 (02:23):
All those Brazilian fears come down then. And then I
put it in my GPS. I lived close and it
was literally it was like, no forty minutes and I
was like, I live ten minutes.
Speaker 4 (02:31):
I messed up. I did not I did not know
that that game was going on. We would not have
been live, would have did my research. That was a
bad job by me. Anyways, we made it happen. And
my father in law was like, hey, we need to
come up with a song. That's what we need to do.
And I'm like, no, we don't.
Speaker 3 (02:48):
Man.
Speaker 4 (02:48):
Well, Phillys fights, yeah, Phillies fights well. To soccer, that's
one of the cool things. And shout out to the
Philadelphia Union. They're on top. They got the best record
I believe in the MLSH and they won just again
last night. And I'm telling you that was one of
the things that hooked me, and was going to a
soccer game and being involved in the river end and
they sing and you're able to make an ass out
of yourself and have fun.
Speaker 2 (03:10):
Yeah, and just let it loose, man, and everybody enjoys themselves.
But it's funny because as I'm sitting there listening, I'm
trying to hear the words that they're saying in the
songs and I and you can't hear it. It's just
kind of like.
Speaker 4 (03:25):
The drums a loud blowhorns too, and then drums and
everything during games like you can't get away with that
at Phillies or Eagles games.
Speaker 2 (03:32):
No, no flares. The flares were.
Speaker 3 (03:37):
Stuff into the stadium.
Speaker 2 (03:38):
They never would like I can't even get a bag
in that fits my wallet, but some flares and.
Speaker 3 (03:43):
How they got that flare in?
Speaker 5 (03:45):
No.
Speaker 3 (03:45):
I saw a video that the guy put it in
a hogie.
Speaker 2 (03:49):
Are you kidding me?
Speaker 3 (03:51):
In the buns? That's as Philly as a guy.
Speaker 4 (03:53):
Well it's not. It's a Brazilian guy, I know. But
I'm saying, oh, yeah, he's adopting the so stupid, so stupid.
But yes, the drums I can get down with. Let's
get some music going. Seventh, I tell you right now
our team could use something right now.
Speaker 2 (04:07):
Something.
Speaker 4 (04:07):
Yeah, we'll talk some Phillies, but yes, I want to
get into what took place last night or yesterday done
in Sea Isle City and now this is a couple
of years agoing and I saw you front and center.
How close were you the Jason Kelce when he removed
the bathing suit and dropped it down to.
Speaker 2 (04:23):
The speed off So I actually I was on the
other side, so I'm for you. Yes, I did not
get to see the pull off pants, which I was like,
where do you even get those?
Speaker 4 (04:33):
Hey?
Speaker 2 (04:33):
Where do you get those where you could just remove
them like that? And the American spat flag speedo it
was that was interesting. I saw that video later and
I was like, how did I miss this? And then
people were doing body shots off of Sydney Brown. Uh,
there is lots There was lots of stuff going on
that I think that I missed just because I was
(04:54):
hanging out with like Philly Sports Trips. They sponsored the
Champs bar there, which was yeah, it was super super cool.
So shout out to those guys for having me out.
It was awesome.
Speaker 4 (05:03):
They do so much so much. I remember the spring
training back of the Dugout. I'm like, dude, what is
going on? Like Philly Sports Chips are all over.
Speaker 2 (05:11):
Oh they're everywhere. They're everywhere, so they they hosted me yesterday,
which was really nice. But I saw I kind of
hung out in their little area, ventured out. But again
it was it was ten rows deep. It was Eagles
fans just packed around the bar ten rows deep. Like
I couldn't move, And I don't love crowds, just to
like being tight in crowds like that. And again it
was so hot. But it was a fantastic day. They
(05:32):
raised a ton of money. I saw the Beer Pung tournament,
which was awesome, and again it just seemed like everybody
was having a great time.
Speaker 4 (05:38):
Yeah, they do a lot of fun like stuff like games.
I don't know if they did, like the singing contest.
I thought that was a little over the top. They
did that like two three years ago. Brought him inside,
was yeah, that was year that Actually Travis did show up.
Speaker 3 (05:53):
If I'm not mistaken, it did something indoors.
Speaker 2 (05:55):
He's too big time now. Yeah, so here in swift
Land wherever that is.
Speaker 4 (06:00):
God bless you, honestly he should as far as yesterday
so players only, like, was there any celebrities anybody, Like,
who's the biggest player?
Speaker 3 (06:12):
You got the biggest reaction in your mind.
Speaker 2 (06:14):
I mean, Kelsey always got so it was. It was
Jason Kelsey, Cooper Dejean was there. I'm trying to think
of who else was there. Connor Barwin, you know Kelsey's buddy,
he was there, Sydney Brown, Big Tom was there. You know,
they brought out the whole squad. Ross Tucker was there. Nice,
but yeah, I mean it was pretty much the whole team.
Speaker 4 (06:36):
I'm going to ask you about one of the more
popular young guns on this team, and there are some
concerns to the point that are one of our guys.
Ryan Beef Coyle got a text message from his dad going,
should we be concerned with Cooper de He's all over
the place.
Speaker 2 (06:52):
So it's funny you bring that up because somebody else
just said that to me earlier today. Look, he's a
twenty two year old Super Bowl champion. You're damn right,
And you know it's crazy. I looked Ali, I'm like,
oh my god, he looks like a baby, Like he
has such a baby face. You know, he just looks
so young to me. But he's out there. I'll tell
(07:13):
you that my guy's out there. He was out there
yesterday too as well. He was out there yesterday too
as well, raising money for chair raising money for charity.
The ladies love him, of course, you know, I mean
everybody loves him and he's he's just he's great. I
think will be okay, you know, I think we'll lock
in when it's time. But they're definitely all having a
lot of fun this summer, as they should. I won
(07:34):
the super Bowl.
Speaker 3 (07:34):
This is the prime hon'est sly peak of his life.
Speaker 6 (07:37):
For being honest, he's coming off with super Bowl win
as a twenty two year old where he got to
pick six.
Speaker 2 (07:44):
Can you imagine, like what do you have to do
to be born and then have that happened to A?
A first of all, that you're good enough to make
the NFL because it's actually so rare to make the
NFL in the grand scheme of things. A that you're
that good, be your first year in the league, you
make it to the super Bowl, and then see you
have that play in the super Bowl and then become like,
(08:05):
you know, the most beloved.
Speaker 6 (08:06):
Like the individual success coupled with the team success that
never can I give you some fine print?
Speaker 3 (08:12):
Maybe D he's a white cornerback.
Speaker 2 (08:13):
Can I just say that too, like making a good
crazy he's unbelievable crazy. It's crazy, but he did.
Speaker 4 (08:20):
And it's funny because I forgot about the whole birthday
on a Super Bowl thing, right, because I was like
just looking up exactly what you just Yeah.
Speaker 3 (08:26):
The first thing that hits me, dude, he's.
Speaker 2 (08:27):
Young is he had just had such a baby face.
Speaker 4 (08:30):
He just turned twenty two, Like, let the kid live.
But it is funny because you can tell the story.
You said it to me, We said it on air.
You remember it was Memorial Day around Yeah, he was Margate.
Speaker 3 (08:43):
We were at the same bar.
Speaker 6 (08:44):
Then I heard he was in Seattle the next day,
and then he was back in Margate that night. He
could hit in the Jersey shore. That guy was everywhere.
And you know who he was with, Mark Andrews from
the Rain, from the Ravens.
Speaker 2 (08:56):
Actually, oh boy, yeah, the town together to me because
I'm like, he's I love how he's also embracing the
city because he could be anywhere in the world right
now if he wanted to be. He could be, you know,
staying in Miami for the summer in a beachfront mansion.
But he's like, no, I'm going I'm going to ocean
or I'm going to Wild.
Speaker 6 (09:17):
Jersey Shore is probably a little more fun than whatever
he does in Iowa, so I don't blame him for
sticking around.
Speaker 2 (09:22):
He's like, what is this. He's walked into a whole
new life.
Speaker 3 (09:26):
Over the last twelve months.
Speaker 2 (09:27):
Oh well, we love him here.
Speaker 6 (09:28):
Yeah, you can do whatever he wants.
Speaker 4 (09:31):
He's putting in the work. He is, he'll be playing
a position that he's going to get beat. So there,
let's just get that out of the way. But he
is a stud I'm referring to him as the chosen One.
Like somebody sent me a picture like, look at a
beer guy. I'm like, bro, that ain't a beer gud.
He's wrecked. Be stopping.
Speaker 2 (09:49):
That's somebody. That's somebody in a basement. That's a hater.
Speaker 3 (09:53):
You could just already envision.
Speaker 2 (09:55):
That's looking for very man.
Speaker 6 (10:00):
He's ripped kelse too, like he's he's just gallivanting the
world with Taylor Swift.
Speaker 4 (10:05):
He must be out of shape. Oh look at his gut.
It's like, all right, this guy's Travis Kelcey. He's still
a menace of an act.
Speaker 2 (10:11):
I did see his back hair though.
Speaker 3 (10:14):
My wife shaves mind, so you know.
Speaker 2 (10:18):
True story I asked my five year old daughter to
do it.
Speaker 3 (10:20):
Believe it or not.
Speaker 4 (10:21):
Yes, weird, I know, but trust me, she's nuts. So
I go, hey, mommy, can't help me? Can you help me?
And she goes, no, perfect, yes, great, great segue. As
far as he could be anywhere, but he's here in Philadelphia.
There is no doubt about it that Cooper dejen is
loving life being an Eagle, playing in this city for
(10:42):
this fan base. Earlier today on The Gambler, Colin cow Herd,
who was just drafted last night, did you did you
hear you see that?
Speaker 3 (10:49):
Yeah?
Speaker 2 (10:50):
Ridiculous, but you know we all make mistakes.
Speaker 3 (10:52):
It is what it is.
Speaker 2 (10:52):
Anyways, cow Herd had Lane Johnson on his show.
Speaker 5 (10:56):
Now.
Speaker 4 (10:56):
They were talking about what it takes to get ready
after one in the Super Bowl, and then Lane took
the conversation to playing in front of Philadelphia fans. And
this is something you know you always hear it, right, Like,
what's it like playing in front of Philadelpia the best
passionate fans ever? Blah blah blah. But I don't think
I've ever heard this before. Listen to what Lane said
to Colin Coward earlier today.
Speaker 2 (11:17):
Okay, well, I thank for all of us players.
Speaker 7 (11:18):
We want to channel all the Philadelphia pride and everything
they have and how they care about football into how
we play. So it's a lot easier said and done.
But I mean I feel like there is there isn't
a greater city as far as motivation is concerned in Philadelphia.
Speaker 2 (11:33):
They really get you wired.
Speaker 7 (11:35):
In in the right way, in the best way.
Speaker 2 (11:37):
Now, the fans are incredible.
Speaker 4 (11:39):
Yeah, Look, you know when it comes to keeping them honest, right,
like keeping them in line? Yeah, Now, I know that
we could be over the top, and I'm sure that
there's somebody that's going see all the time that I
was talking like to go affect them. Yes, And you
know this because you've been at boat stops, so you've
heard it all from the passionate fan that's over the top,
(12:00):
and then of course the good fans that you know
we all strive to be. But when it comes to
keeping them in line, like keeping them honest, I don't
know that that's interesting to hear it from who's going
to be a super or a Hall of Famer in
Lane Johnson, multiple Super Bowl ring winner. Here it plays
for the Eagles, which is the toughest team to play
for in Philadelphia. Yeah, and you get a guy like
(12:21):
Ace Bailey. Last night he was like, I don't want
to go and play in Philly.
Speaker 2 (12:24):
Yeah, which I mean, look from a from an outsider's perspective,
if you were to if I were him, and I'm
looking at the organization as a whole and a Bailey, Yes,
it's Bailey and a lot of the decisions that they've
made over i'd say the last five years, particularly like
think about let's go back twenty eighteen. That playoff run, right,
(12:46):
that was I think probably the closest that the Sixers
have been in the last decade. Sure through the process,
if you will, ye, I can see where a player
may have some reservations about wanting to play for the Sixers.
Were going to see because it seems like there's mismanagement.
I don't like to use that term loosely, but it's
(13:06):
just I felt like they just kept throwing band aids
on things for you know, the Paul George signing him
last year, you know what I mean, Like, there's some
questionable decisions that I think, uh the organization has made,
so I can see the hesitancy. However, don't disrespect us
like that, you know what I mean, Like I can
see both sides of it and good riddance. So I'm glad.
I'm glad we got Edgecomb.
Speaker 3 (13:26):
Yes, no doubt about that.
Speaker 4 (13:28):
I think he made life real easy for Dale or
Murray by saying I'm not playing there. But there was
no doubt, Like, don't there were you know what? Let
me back that up because there were plenty of Sixer
fans on my timeline. I'm sure yours, Yeah, who cares draft?
And I'm like, dude, we've been through like nonsense. You
want to bring this in now?
Speaker 2 (13:45):
Yeah? Exactly.
Speaker 3 (13:47):
Harden Simmons with the Ace Billy thing.
Speaker 6 (13:50):
It was also the fact that he didn't want to
not play for the Sixers.
Speaker 4 (13:53):
This guy was trying to choose his destinations, right. I
don't want to play for the Sixers. I don't want
to play for the Hornets. I don't want to play
for the Jazz even though in the begame there. So
this guy obviously had attitude concerns.
Speaker 6 (14:02):
I always think back of when Jason Kelsey talked about
the Ben Simmons situation years ago, when that whole saga
was going on and Ben Simmons asked to get traded
in didn't want to play for this team, and Ben
Simon or excuse me, Jason Kelsey said similar things that
Ben Simmons used to, or that that Blane Johnson was
just saying, where he would say, this fan base is
going to keep you honest, and that is a good
(14:23):
thing if you have the right mentality.
Speaker 3 (14:24):
If you don't have the right mentality, it's going to
break you down.
Speaker 6 (14:27):
But if you don't have the right mentality, you probably
shouldn't be playing in this city anyway. So Jason Kelcey
and a lot of other Eagles players have had long
term success here have the right mentality. Ben Simmons, of course,
had the wrong mentality, so he wasn't built to play
in the city. But I think when you hear players
talk about that, it kind of invigorates the fan base
and it tells them, all right, we're actually justified in
our passion and how much we support these guys.
Speaker 3 (14:47):
So I love it.
Speaker 2 (14:48):
Yeah, as long as it's like, as long as it's fair.
I don't think that we should ever cross the line.
I don't like personal threats. I don't like fans from
over people like go after people's families. I don't think
they should go after people's appearances, you know, I mean,
like all those low blows. But I think, you know,
especially for an organization like the Sixers, we have to
keep them accountable. I mean, it's been it's it's it's
(15:09):
it's horrible.
Speaker 3 (15:10):
It really is exhausting.
Speaker 2 (15:12):
It's exhausting, and I think we've spent so much mental
energy trying to piece it together and pick it apart
and kind of scheme with them because they've been scheming. Right,
the process was a scheme. It was a scam, right,
it was a scam. It was a sham. It was
a shot in the dark, and it didn't work good tried.
I understood the vision.
Speaker 3 (15:30):
I wasn't a fan of it.
Speaker 2 (15:32):
Here's the thing, I'll admit I was okay with it.
I'm like, yeah, let's throw it all in there, see
if it works. It didn't, and here we are, yeah,
you know.
Speaker 3 (15:39):
Because it's just well that is said Sam, Thank you guys.
Speaker 2 (15:43):
Get here.
Speaker 6 (15:44):
Let me bring in Brian Colangelo was a burners on
Twitter that was talking about people's collars and people are
insulting his collars and has to defend himself on Twitter.
So now he's gone, and now we're going to restart.
Speaker 3 (15:55):
If it.
Speaker 4 (15:56):
Can happen, it will happen to that organization. Yeah, that's
where I'm at.
Speaker 3 (16:00):
I'm with you.
Speaker 2 (16:01):
This is bizarre drama.
Speaker 4 (16:03):
So a good segue from of course birds not anything
going on, although I do know this much, dude. August
seventh is the first preseason game. August seventh, Like, we
are here, it's football season.
Speaker 2 (16:16):
Yeah, that's crazy.
Speaker 3 (16:19):
Last first preseason game August. I just looked that up.
I'm like, wait a minute, what is going on.
Speaker 2 (16:23):
I mean, it's also nuts now too, because I feel like,
and you guys tell me if you agree, I don't.
I don't like the seventeen game season. I don't like it.
I liked I liked six sixteen. I thought that was fair.
But now it feels like it's so quick. I like,
the super Bowl was the super Bowl, prey was Valentine's Day.
I feels like that was yesterday and now it's already
(16:45):
the preseason. Like the season is so long now.
Speaker 6 (16:48):
They got to cut the preseason short.
Speaker 3 (16:51):
It's so it did now, yeah you know it three yeah,
but they're gonna cut it, but they're games.
Speaker 6 (16:58):
Hurts is going to play second in the preseas. Sae
Partley's not gonna play second in the preseason. None of
this offensive starting line is going to play a second
in the preseason. Cut it short because it's not a
real evaluation period. It's just for the NFL to profit.
Speaker 2 (17:09):
So it's true.
Speaker 4 (17:10):
Over to the Sixers again, we got plenty of all
of July to talk about the Birds. We'll manufacture those conversations.
But as far as the Sixers are concerned that And
I'm curious to know where you're at with this take
because last night Darryl Morey takes the podium during the draft, Yeah,
which was interesting, and then he said about dwell Embiid's health,
(17:32):
he will be ready right around quote right around training camp.
Speaker 3 (17:36):
So it's like, here we go again.
Speaker 2 (17:38):
I that's how I took it.
Speaker 3 (17:40):
How did you take it?
Speaker 2 (17:41):
I take it as I'll believe it when I see it.
Nothing that again, the mistrust in nothing that they say,
do I believe, especially when it comes to injuries, yep,
because there's just it seems like, what was it the
end of this past season when Nick Nurse didn't even
know if uh Max he was shut down? How are you?
(18:03):
Here's my thought, how are you going to game plan.
How are you gonna plan for the game? How are
you gonna game plan? How are you gonna get when
you don't know if you're playing, when you don't know
if one of your star players is playing. So like,
I can't, I can't listen to anything they say. I
believe it when I see it. But Joelle has been
here now for eleven years. Eleven years talk about that. No,
(18:26):
it doesn't feel like it. And what's upsetting to me
is I do it's a again. I feel like it's unfortunate.
The best years are behind him and they've been squandered.
We do see still so much productivity from him when
we can and when he's healthy enough to play somewhat,
but it's I don't know what we're in store for
this year. So I'm hoping that this new guy, you know,
I don't know if he'll you know, immediately make an impact.
(18:48):
But they say he's a good two way player, defensive guy.
Speaker 4 (18:51):
Sock Sam was on him before Ace Baileyan or like
he wanted Edgecombe even if before they.
Speaker 3 (19:00):
Got the third pick.
Speaker 6 (19:00):
I said, VG Edgecombe is the guy, and so I'm
glad they made the right to system there because a
lot of people were saying Ace Bailey is the third
best prospect, He's the best talent in the draft. I said,
fit wise, who's going to make the most immediate impact?
I thought it was BVG. So I love the pick
from the Joel Embiid perspective. My question is why would he.
Speaker 3 (19:18):
Not be ready by the start of training camp?
Speaker 6 (19:20):
And you can say injuries, but he hasn't played basketball
in forever.
Speaker 3 (19:24):
He got surgery months ago.
Speaker 4 (19:26):
What's the reasoning that he wouldn't be ready for the
start of training camp?
Speaker 2 (19:29):
How is he not healthy right?
Speaker 4 (19:31):
Training camp is completely over September, late September, October.
Speaker 2 (19:35):
Yeah, how is even a question? Because I don't believe yeah,
and I don't believe that he's he's remotely close to
full health. If that's how they're saying it, it must
be bad. And what when they wanted to fix his knee,
remember the surgery, They wanted to break his hip in
order to fix it, And I'm like, what, what what? What?
What are we talking about here?
Speaker 6 (19:56):
That was like a semi invasive procedure with they through
with yeah, which isn't like a full surgery that he got.
So that tells me if there's even a question he
might not be ready. It tells me probably didn't work.
Speaker 2 (20:07):
No, And you've got to think about his his size,
his stature. He's so big, he throws his body around.
He's always on the ground, you know, Yeah, he's always
on the ground. He just he just flails flails around.
Speaker 4 (20:20):
He's not the again. We know father time always wins.
That's number one and number two, he's not going to
be the first big man that's career is going to come,
you know, fall short because of things catching up to him.
Speaker 2 (20:31):
Yeah, it's just it's a shame. It's I loved I
love him as a sex ser I've loved him as
a Philadelphia and he's done so much for the city.
You know, I feel like he's wrapped us really hard.
He's always been vocal, but I think he's a little
upset with the organization now too.
Speaker 4 (20:44):
Yeah, that would be interesting to see what would happen
if he said, you know what, it's time to go,
time to go.
Speaker 3 (20:49):
I think you know, it just has no market out there, correct, Right.
Speaker 2 (20:53):
That's that's the unfortunate part too. It's like, because at
this point, for the best interests of both parties, I
would be okay parting ways with him because it's like,
do you realistically think that we're going to reach his
championship this year?
Speaker 3 (21:06):
Yeah?
Speaker 2 (21:07):
With the team that we have right now? You got it? Like,
unfortunately we're back at the rebuild. We're back in twenty eleven.
We do have a again.
Speaker 4 (21:16):
And Sam, I'm curious to know your thoughts on this
because I believe that there is some sort of bright brightness,
you know, like the future is somewhat bright with a
guy like McCain, with a guy like Max, with VJ
Edgecomb with carsh slud. Yes, So it's like, all right,
I guess maybe what I'm asking is, like, if we
(21:36):
can get through the next two seasons, do you think
those guys are enough that we can build around that
type of core and get something going here. I think
Maury deserves a lot of credit for setting the Sixers
up for the post and beat era, which may be
coming sooner than anyone actually wants to admit. But he's
drafted really well Tyrs Maxy in the twenties, Jerry McCain
in the twenties. Now we have the third pick, got
vg Edgecomb, he has all star potential. So this team's
(21:59):
actually set up where there gonna have to go full
tank mode whenever that post embid era comes. They have
young stars to build around.
Speaker 6 (22:05):
So I think Darre Moore, he's done a great job,
and I think it's always been in the back of
his mind that this Joel Embiid experiment may come crashing
down at any moment.
Speaker 3 (22:12):
So I think you're right.
Speaker 6 (22:13):
The Sixers are set up where it's not gonna have
to go full tank mode if they're going to be
fine whenever Embiid's career or time as a Sixer is done.
Speaker 4 (22:22):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, like you said, could be a little
bit sooner than what we.
Speaker 3 (22:26):
Because I said last year, I had a terrible.
Speaker 4 (22:28):
Feeling and I was losing my mind when people were
telling me he's going to play more than such and such.
Speaker 3 (22:33):
On my I don't even think he's going to reach
the thirty game mark. And he didn't. Well if we
hear ramping up in October, my mind.
Speaker 2 (22:39):
Yeah, I mean think and this was last year, and
there's one thing you can't defeat his father time. Now
it's a he's another year older. I'm sorry, Sean, I
feel it. I feel a year older Spring Chicken over.
Speaker 3 (22:54):
Yet you think Cooper Zeene feels it.
Speaker 2 (22:57):
I wake up in the morning and I'm like, how
did I? Oh? I did? Was sleep this way? That's
it now, that's all it takes.
Speaker 4 (23:04):
This guy over there, he's got the ones out in
the youth working for m right now.
Speaker 2 (23:09):
Nice and Young, God bless you.
Speaker 6 (23:12):
The vancouper Deine, because I'd be doing the same thing
about a Super Bowl champ.
Speaker 4 (23:16):
Really a quick turn off of this one because I
want to get over to the Phillies with you that.
But I'm curious because it is news. Do you dabble
it all in the w NBA? Does Kate and Clark Mason?
Speaker 2 (23:26):
Yeah?
Speaker 3 (23:26):
Yeah, okay, yeah.
Speaker 2 (23:27):
I was like, I'll turn it on if it's on.
I'm not as invested as I would like to be.
I hope to get more into it, but it's piqued
my interest and I casually watch games. Nice.
Speaker 4 (23:37):
Yeah, she's out tonight with a groin injury, which is yeah,
that sticks. And again that she is the league.
Speaker 2 (23:42):
She's amazing.
Speaker 4 (23:43):
The numbers are unbelievable. How many people watch because of her.
Speaker 2 (23:47):
I think it's fantastic for the league, Like, it's awesome.
I hope that Philly gets a team I know that
they've been talking about it. Hold why don't we I
don't know, because I despite the Sixers and they're losing ways,
I do think that Philadelphia is an exceptional basketball town.
Do you think about all the talent from the streets
of Philly, like scouts come here. You know, we have
(24:07):
really pure talent here. And the women play here too,
I mean, and we would pack that house.
Speaker 3 (24:12):
I think so too.
Speaker 4 (24:13):
Right, Like that's the thing that really moves me to
the point that like we need a team here, is
that you look at some of these other teams that
are these other cities that get teams and they're filled,
like Atlanta. Atlanta is a terrible sports city, right, and
they packed the place.
Speaker 3 (24:27):
You know, you go down and look at what Vegas
is doing.
Speaker 2 (24:29):
Vegas.
Speaker 4 (24:30):
I know the Vegas school Knights are great, but the
aces and they want a lot, but they packed the place.
Speaker 3 (24:34):
I just feel like Philly would pack the place.
Speaker 2 (24:36):
Oh, we would definitely pack the place.
Speaker 3 (24:38):
They all politics with that stuff.
Speaker 6 (24:40):
But I do think the next round of expansion, we
bet Philly will be including my state just got a
team in the latest round of expansion.
Speaker 3 (24:47):
Do you think I think the six or the Phillis.
Do you think they were scared to give Philly a team?
Speaker 4 (24:52):
What? Because well we could be a little great, as
we said, you know, you were like, I don't know
if the league's ready for Phillies Jelly.
Speaker 6 (25:00):
It's a pretty good thought you think about some of
the harassments.
Speaker 4 (25:05):
Yeah, not cool, not cool. We need a team, let's
go all right. Yes, Caitlin Clark, I wanted to bring
that up there. We do talk about her a lot.
Speaker 2 (25:12):
I mean, she does it. She's getting the Jordan treatment though. Yeah,
she's getting beat up.
Speaker 4 (25:17):
They come after you know, a lot of people that
cover the sport will say she brings it upon herself.
She's one that doesn't back it up. You know, that
will come at you, you know, let you know so,
and she backs it up.
Speaker 2 (25:29):
Yeah. Well, And what I think is interesting around this
topic in particular, and when you're talking about women, it's
funny because it's like there's all these opinions about it.
It's like, oh, wow, they're so nasty to each other. No,
these are just competitive women playing professional ball and and
they're playing their hearts out and it's not always pretty.
Speaker 3 (25:46):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (25:47):
We talked about this the last time I was on
it was a little bit of a turney.
Speaker 5 (25:50):
Well.
Speaker 4 (25:51):
You know what's funny is what I learned last year
about everything was it's about us.
Speaker 3 (25:55):
It's about the people that are viewing it.
Speaker 4 (25:57):
We don't know how to react to the to the
women that her competing like that, Like that was the
big takeaway for me. It was like everybody needs to realize,
like it's you that's watching that's the issue. These girls
are out there doing everything that's sports and you love basketball.
Speaker 2 (26:12):
And I can see you know, women have been you know, women,
they're supposed to be pretty and nice and YadA, YadA YadA,
but you know, these are athletes. These are competitors and
they're gonna they're gonna compete. Who's your one teammate? The
here a black belt choke the girl out, Like yeah,
(26:32):
I love I love that. See that's what Sarah. I'm like, yeah, girl,
you get them, you know, like it's that's the nature
of the beasts, and these are competitive, top of their
game women, And I think it does it makes it's unfortunate.
I want to see anybody get hurt, but it makes.
Speaker 6 (26:45):
For And what she said after the after the game
was she was like the w n B a never
defends Kaitlyn Clark because the referees are never tossing these
people out.
Speaker 3 (26:53):
We're coming after Caitlyn Clark fire.
Speaker 6 (26:55):
So I guess I have to defend Kaitlyn Clark if
the league isn't going to for her.
Speaker 3 (26:58):
She did that, and she's a black belt. Like I said,
she's actually black. She played football on high school.
Speaker 2 (27:04):
She was a kicker.
Speaker 4 (27:04):
She filled in and played football, put the pads on
and everything. Yeah, she imagine no joke.
Speaker 2 (27:10):
I talk about sports guys, because I could never really play.
Speaker 6 (27:15):
For me and all Sam dabbles in the world of
hoops hoop, but it's been I was nowhere close to
that type of level.
Speaker 4 (27:23):
While I'm sitting here, all right, let's get on over
to the Phillies. Unfortunately, and they just finished the Yeah,
this is this is brutal.
Speaker 3 (27:31):
I don't now.
Speaker 4 (27:32):
They roll into Atlanta, and I guess the big question
would be should we take anything more than what took place?
Obviously with just the final score, because you got the
trade deadline coming up on July thirty first, you know
you have to do something. Harper was quoted at. Dombrowski
was quoted in a podcast with Jason Stark. I want
to say that it was like, yeah, he said go
(27:52):
out and get a right handed bat. Yeah, you know, like, Okay,
this is your guy saying that this team is good enough.
And and at the end of this series, even though
you did get swept, the starting pitching was unbelievable.
Speaker 2 (28:06):
It's you know, that's what they had. One hit the
whole series or one run the whole one run ridiculous.
Speaker 4 (28:12):
Yeah, absolutely ridiculous what they'd put up against Houston. No,
Houston's a great team, no doubt about it. But do
you think I guess the big picture question that I'm
taking away Nat, and I'll come to you first on this,
is like, do you think that this would have an
impact a little bit more?
Speaker 3 (28:26):
Uh?
Speaker 4 (28:27):
I guess is this a good thing for people that
want Dave Dombrowski to go out there and get somebody
else that can help out in the outfield.
Speaker 3 (28:33):
I'm pretty sure he's probably gonna be active.
Speaker 4 (28:35):
Yeah, but maybe this cements it even more, Like, dude,
you got to make something happen here.
Speaker 2 (28:39):
Well, I think just based on the injuries issues that
they're dealing with, they should just for security purposes regardless,
because Bryce comes back, great, You know what I mean, fantastic,
But is it gonna last? You know what I mean?
And we're getting to the point now we're coming up
on the All Star break, were connect with the Mets.
(29:01):
It's only going to get more competitive. We'll face them
again in the end of August. I think where I
think we'll really see maybe a little bit of what
this team looks like as we enter the playoff picture,
because I don't think we have that full picture right now. Uh,
but yeah, he has I think he has to be aggressive.
He has to get somebody just just to help for
security purposes.
Speaker 3 (29:20):
There are some decent names out there.
Speaker 4 (29:21):
We were talking about yesterday, Jeff Jeff Jeff Passon's report
on ESPN dot com. Some really good bats out there,
some good good pitching that you can bring in to
help out the bullpen as well, which we know, yeah,
which is blessed has to because Dobrowski did say that.
Speaker 2 (29:36):
Even year, why it's like every year and you.
Speaker 3 (29:41):
Know, and get suspended.
Speaker 2 (29:43):
So that was oh, Rod John, I just black I'd
like block that out. I blank that out. Well, it's
it's impressive because what they've.
Speaker 4 (29:49):
Been able to do without, you know, without without him,
without proper. No, Uh, there's there somebody else I'm forgetting.
Speaker 2 (29:58):
I think there's another injury that have and too as well.
Speaker 4 (30:00):
It's like, wait a minute, this team is putting it together, yeah,
and they're dealing with these injuries and that's like you
just don't want to waste this and this is it's
never good when you come up in Major League Baseball history,
as long as this game has been around, this is
just the tenth time in Major League Baseball history that
a team was swept despite allowing no more than five
runs in the entire series.
Speaker 2 (30:21):
That's insane.
Speaker 4 (30:22):
Yeah, like you got the pitching from Wheel or from
ranger from Sanchez today and you can't get.
Speaker 3 (30:27):
The run sport, I don't know, Sam. They got to
be a friend of the bats and you have to
be aggressive.
Speaker 6 (30:32):
It's it's the only solution at this point, because after
what we saw the last few seasons and how things
ended where they couldn't advance runners in scoring positions. They
their bullpen fell apart in that series against the Diamondbacks
a couple of years ago. This is feels like the
end of the run for this team and it's this season.
Speaker 3 (30:48):
So you have to be an all inmode.
Speaker 4 (30:49):
Think about what happens if the Phillies flame out in
the early round, maybe the first round exit in the playoffs.
Speaker 6 (30:55):
Rob Thompson's probably out. You might think about trading Alec Boom,
depending on who he finished the season. The Castillanos might
not be here next year. This is the final run
of this iteration of the Phillies. If they are a
flame out early, so you might as well go all in.
You have to have an all in mindset for this team,
and that's how Dave Dombrowski has to approach this deadline.
Speaker 4 (31:14):
Yeah, I agree when you got again. I hate saying
it like this because it is baseball. It's a different world.
But the bar is set with the Dodgers, like that's
that's who you have to be.
Speaker 2 (31:24):
They're the standard yew and spending spread. That's all they
do is spend. And I don't know, like I just
don't know. I just don't know what they are thinking.
They they just they don't. It's the bullpen that really
bothers me. Is it's we have the same conversation every
single year, every single year, and because our offense has
(31:45):
the potential, we know that they have the potential. They
just can't always execute and like you said this weekend,
being aggressive, you know, playing small ball, you know, getting
the guys on base, advancing on the.
Speaker 3 (31:56):
Not being aggressive, swinging all that.
Speaker 2 (31:58):
Yeah, exactly, like like playing that small really just like
scaling scaling back. I don't think every every obviously you
want to home run every hit, but it doesn't have
to like, you know what I mean, there's nothing, there's
that much. It's it's the bullpen that I think consistently
is the issue. And I'm just praying that that's the
truer that he pulls.
Speaker 4 (32:15):
You know. I know we're on the ara, but as
far as like it'd be a fun thing for the
timeline describe the Phillies with the meme because what just
turble means I can't do verbal means, you know what
I mean? Like, is it the you know that the
house is on fire and this is fine because they
just beat the Mets two of three. Everything was great,
Sunshine and rainbow.
Speaker 2 (32:36):
That's me, Well, the house is on fire, but this
is fine. But but I said at the opening day
this year that I was going to internally ride the wave.
Speaker 3 (32:46):
I like that.
Speaker 2 (32:47):
Yeah, I was not going I was Jalen hurtsing it.
Speaker 4 (32:49):
I'm just I love He's an approach from the beginning,
almost like a.
Speaker 3 (32:55):
New Year's resolution of Phillies resolution.
Speaker 2 (32:57):
I dig that. I dig that. That was it. So
I don't like how the Houston series went, but it's
we're approaching July. I'll see how I feel. After the
All Star break is when I'm going to turn into
a psycho.
Speaker 3 (33:11):
And that's that's when we started going downhill.
Speaker 4 (33:14):
That yes, great, Yes, I love that. Right now today,
I believe is the halfway point. If I'm not mistaken,
I want to say it is.
Speaker 3 (33:21):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (33:21):
So we are halfway through a one sixty two season
and you got Rob Thompson, who approached the media afterwards
to say, quote, we got to get back to the basics.
Speaker 6 (33:30):
That's a you know, that's a stock answer. But like
he always gives the keys answers and.
Speaker 3 (33:34):
One sixty two, like, you can't overreact.
Speaker 4 (33:36):
You can't be too high when you beat the match
two out of three and take first place, right you
get you know, you go down to Houston.
Speaker 3 (33:42):
You can't do anything with the Bats.
Speaker 4 (33:43):
But but when you have these campy issues that keep
coming up, that's my point. Celebrate a big series win,
over the Mets, because you know that the goal is
a World Series championship, and there's these things that are
gonna hinder your ability to get there.
Speaker 3 (33:55):
So my verbal meme is the s here we go again,
you know that one where it's like, yeah.
Speaker 2 (34:03):
I guess mine would be have you ever seen the
guy and he's like sitting there. It's the it's like
a white it's a white ferry monkey and he's sitting
on a chair and he's going, why though, yes, yes, I.
Speaker 3 (34:13):
Know that one.
Speaker 2 (34:14):
It's why though, it's we just had this great series
against the Mets. The verbal meme.
Speaker 3 (34:19):
When I had to write that one down for that
one back, I like that one.
Speaker 4 (34:21):
Yeah, And you know, people are responding and saying, man,
it feels like I watched the same game.
Speaker 2 (34:25):
For three straight days. You're right, yeah, it's just tough.
It was a tough watch.
Speaker 4 (34:29):
It was well, they roll on to Atlanta and maybe
that gets the juices going when you take on a
team in your division. Atlanta is in action tonight taking
on the Mets again. If I'm not mistaking, that was
a four game series. So we'll keep our eyes on
that one and of course.
Speaker 2 (34:46):
And if the Mets win they're back, and first I did.
Speaker 3 (34:49):
Not know that, but yeah, it sounds about right.
Speaker 2 (34:51):
I think.
Speaker 4 (34:51):
I think, yeah, the Mets actually did win. Soto don't
like that. Tell you what after I said some after
I Critici eyes want Soto. So I was at the
game on Friday, as I said, and this dude walks everywhere.
He walks to right field, he was on first base
something better after him got walked.
Speaker 2 (35:11):
He literally walked from first to second.
Speaker 4 (35:13):
And I'm just like, did you just sign the most
expensive contract in sports?
Speaker 2 (35:19):
Yeah, exactly.
Speaker 3 (35:19):
He could do whatever you want.
Speaker 2 (35:20):
Come on, man, you know, I'm like.
Speaker 4 (35:24):
I'll chase Thatthley with it, Like, come on, dude, be
the guy that the young gun's gonna look to. And
all he's done since I was critical of him is
hit home run after home run two in two games. Uh,
he think he's got ten in a month of June.
He's incredible. And I did say, yeah, I did say
the fine print, like, yeah, you can hit forty bombs,
(35:45):
you can do whatever you want.
Speaker 3 (35:46):
Yeah, after it's all said and done at the end
of the season.
Speaker 4 (35:49):
But man, that was really crazy to see him just
casually strolling out.
Speaker 2 (35:53):
He doesn't care.
Speaker 3 (35:55):
You don't care at all.
Speaker 2 (35:56):
He's good.
Speaker 3 (35:59):
On him. We'll see if he starts scaring then.
Speaker 4 (36:01):
Yeah, well you know they're winning and uh, he's producing. Again,
it's not it's not his fault that that team loses
when they do that, their top of the order.
Speaker 3 (36:10):
Is too rough stretch. The first couple of Seas definitely
picked it up. Since then, I do.
Speaker 2 (36:14):
I do like the rivalry and I do like the
competition because again, as we get into September, if things
are still neck and neck like this, like I said,
I'll be psycho. But if it's if we're battling the Mets,
you know that every single pitches is when I'm going
to start like pulling my hair out. Yeah, that's what's
going to happen. Last year was insane. I'll be bald.
Speaker 3 (36:36):
Last year was insane.
Speaker 4 (36:37):
I was at the one game and that they came
back to win, and I think I said something along
the lines of like it was one of the greatest
games I've ever been at.
Speaker 3 (36:45):
Yeah, and then then they was the only one. Yeah
that was it. Yeah that was bad.
Speaker 4 (36:49):
So again, good luck charm Sean. I like every game
I'll go. I'm in one on Friday. Let's keep it going.
Let's get back to the winning ways. But I I'm
curious to like how I would really love to be
a fly on the wall as far as inside at
that clubhouse. And you know, look, it's a team, YadA, YadA, YadA.
(37:10):
But when you get that type of pitching in three
straight games, like, come on, dude, does Wheeler look down?
Like really, guys, probably you would hope you like should
do Yeah.
Speaker 2 (37:23):
I mean I think, I mean, I think everybody accountable. Yeah,
you gotta hold people accountable. And I mean again, I
don't think anybody ever sets intentions of going out onto
the baseball diamond to lose.
Speaker 5 (37:34):
You know.
Speaker 2 (37:34):
But at the same time, it's it's these are the
types of this is they could have won at least
one of the last three, yeah, you know, and it's
there's no if there's no offensive support, it's it's not sustainable.
It's not sustainable.
Speaker 4 (37:48):
No, So we'll see what happens as far as next
game out against Atlanta and once again seven to ten tonight,
Mets and Braves.
Speaker 2 (37:56):
Here a fire up DraftKings Sportsbook. Take a look at
what that number is.
Speaker 4 (37:59):
Griffin Canning getting to start for the New York Mets
minus one nineteen and Grant Holmes for the Braves at
minus one oh two. All right, here's the deal. We're
gonna take quick time out. We'll come right back. The
other day, as you said, it was so hot, Natalie,
it was really hot. It was disgusting outside, and you
went to multiple outdoor events.
Speaker 3 (38:18):
Here's what I had.
Speaker 4 (38:19):
So I cooked up something burning questions, and I had
some fun, stumbled into an interesting way to phrase a
question from Luke Arcaney, who has a guilty television show.
Speaker 3 (38:30):
Pleasure Are Do you know where this is going?
Speaker 4 (38:33):
Also, with the fourth of July coming around, we got
a barbecue question coming your way. So I had five
burning questions for Natalie Eganoff on the other side, we
will get into that. We'll put a bow on this
bad boy right here, Sam Oustrien from the score, I'm
Sean Brace Natalie hanging with us every Thursday at the
five o'clock hour more after.
Speaker 5 (38:52):
This, No, no stretchers and daily tickets on a Thursday.
Speaker 4 (39:05):
Yes, indeed Phillies lost yet again. Did manage to score
a run? How about that? Ye? Yes? So two to
one unbelievable. A lot of historical feats, and not in
a good way. Happened in that series down in Houston.
So that's one that I would almost recommend. Burn the
tape right now. I just get rid of its.
Speaker 2 (39:27):
Forgettable and it will be forgetable. You go, and I'm
gonna forget it as soon as I walk out this
store at six o'clock.
Speaker 3 (39:32):
That's it.
Speaker 4 (39:33):
So they roll on to Atlanta. We're having some fun,
of course. NBA Draft Round two tonight. Sam oustriy from
the score, Natalie Agunoff here, Sam, big one for you
as far as and I forget.
Speaker 2 (39:44):
Fleming is his.
Speaker 4 (39:45):
Name from Saint Jose We sheer Fleming yep. And he's
going to be the top dog. And this didn't get
I'm pretty surprised he fell out of the first round.
He was awesome A Saint Joe's really long, great defender,
prototypical three and d Wing can shoot the three ball
really well. So I was shocked he fell the first round.
I think the sixers might target him, but he might
not make it to the sixers. I expect him to
be off the board within the top two picks in
(40:05):
the second round tonight. All right, great stuff, Sam Ostri.
What do you got cooking over there at the score?
A lot of NBA Draft stuff going on last few
days and at three agency next week, and.
Speaker 6 (40:14):
Then things kind of quiet down because it's it's the
off season for sports in general.
Speaker 4 (40:19):
It's gonna be a list week and Mount Rushmore week.
Speaker 2 (40:25):
Yeah, that time the shine. You can always whip up
a good field of sixty four, your little March madness
type of thing.
Speaker 3 (40:33):
Jalen hurts an elite corn.
Speaker 2 (40:34):
There we go.
Speaker 4 (40:35):
I'm I believe Natalie, name your top eleven Philadelphia current
sports stars.
Speaker 2 (40:41):
I did, I did all right, brain hurts just even
entertaining that thing.
Speaker 4 (40:46):
So look, we'll get into this with the question that
I have. So I got five burning questions for Natalie.
Speaker 3 (40:53):
I got off.

for Natalie Aganov.
Speaker 2 (41:35):
Here we go.
Speaker 3 (41:39):
If I can find my damn there you go, bring
that sorry one man band over here. As often five
burning questions.
Speaker 4 (41:47):
I came up with this because it as hot as
hell outside.
Speaker 3 (41:51):
So we're gonna stay with that theme.
Speaker 4 (41:53):
And off of what we were just discussing as far
as bad sports takes out there, what's one sports take
that you've heard this month that really ruffled.
Speaker 3 (42:04):
Your feathers that you were not down with one of
the worst summer sports takes that you have heard this month?
Speaker 2 (42:10):
Well, it was the Jalen Hurts conversation. It was that
was the dumbest, laziest, most asinine conversation after Super Bowl
win with the Super Bowl MVP in the city of Philadelphia,
that you could ever hold, Why would you ever create? Look,
there's sometimes when you create a quarterback controversy because it
(42:32):
does deserve to exist. Right, even when we got Hurts
and Wentz was still here, that was a warranted conversation,
right because we, as the friends, weren't privy to We
didn't know that Wentz's just gave the contract. We just
gave him a huge contract, right, ye.
Speaker 4 (42:47):
Fair, Now you're gonna question, well he didn't make the list?
Speaker 3 (42:52):
Right? Is that.
Speaker 2 (42:54):
He didn't? He didn't make You were just dumb and
reaching for stuff there. And I don't think you belong
in front of a microphone if you if you have
that opinion.
Speaker 6 (43:03):
I think that we Philadelphia was the most blessed sports
city right now, Like the Sixers are struggling about.
Speaker 4 (43:10):
The one guy, yeah, and the one one guy and
the one player on that team who was the MVP
of the Super Bowl. Yeah, but not a top ten
athlete nailed it all, right, question number two one athlete.
This was off of the Iron Pigs who lost air
conditioning on their bus and then had to take a
six hour bus ride to the next game.
Speaker 3 (43:31):
Garrett stubs no shirt.
Speaker 2 (43:34):
He's like, I'm coming back, I'm gonna play really hard.
I'm really sorry.
Speaker 4 (43:38):
I go from the vibes guys in the post six
hours on a bus, dude, that is rough. No ac
all right, So one athlete, coach or sports media personality
you least want to be.
Speaker 3 (43:49):
On that bus with.
Speaker 4 (43:51):
Oh goodness, one athlete, sports media personality or coach.
Speaker 2 (43:56):
For Natalie, that's an interesting question. Who would I not
want to be on You don't want to be on
the bus with.
Speaker 3 (44:01):
The hot that's a great question. Take our shirts off.
Speaker 4 (44:03):
It's too damn hot, and there's no right now, there's
no windows.
Speaker 2 (44:08):
Who would I not want to be on a bus with. Yeah,
I'm trying to think. I don't know. Maybe John Tortorella
is that weird a lot. Yeah, he's trying to think.
He just seems like a grumpy guy and in the
air conditioning. I mean, he's no longer with us, But
you know what I mean, I'm just thinking of somebody
who might not be great in an air in an
(44:28):
air conditioned free situation, like I, he would not be
to be with on a bus, dude.
Speaker 4 (44:33):
That's a great answer for me. I am anti torts
and I was a torts guy at that twenty Get
rid of that dude. Yeah, see ya, Yeah, what'd you
think about the trade.
Speaker 2 (44:44):
I loved it.
Speaker 4 (44:45):
Yeah, aggressive, I'm not big No, I'm that big on
on the pucks and sticks.
Speaker 3 (44:50):
So I go to other for my knowledge.
Speaker 2 (44:52):
Yeah, no, I mean I think I think it's good.
But again, I feel like the Flyers are going to
be similar to the Sixers, where we're just kind of
watching a little bit of a slow.
Speaker 4 (45:00):
Or rebuilt still one to win the Stanley Cup. Sam,
did you take a piece of that?
Speaker 3 (45:05):
I don't even know what trade you guys are talking about.
I'm sitting over here clueless. All right, here we go.
It's my Flyers and hockey Dolge. Question number three.
Speaker 4 (45:12):
You have to create a new Olympic sport from a
summer activity. From a summer activity. You're taking it to
the Olympics. Five burning questions gare hearts for Natalie?
Speaker 2 (45:25):
Is drinking Margarita's works for us? First thinking my mom
was beard pool beer drinking Margarita's on a beach. MARGARITEA
is on a beach.
Speaker 4 (45:34):
Your Olympic medalist, Mark Damn Right, Mark Henry Junior said gambling.
Speaker 3 (45:39):
I was like, Yo, that works. It's five burning questions
for you, all right?
Speaker 4 (45:43):
Question number four, what is your guilty pleasure show or movie.
Our guy, uh luke Arcaney, not Pleasure Island. Pleasure Island, Sorry,
pleasure a different show. But I think a lot of
that happens on some clips I've seen over on that
eye My goodness, yes what sorry? What is your guilty
(46:07):
go to a guilty pleasure shower movie?
Speaker 1 (46:10):
So?
Speaker 2 (46:10):
I I have been watching Sex in the City for
twenty years and there's a new there's a new new
edition of it. Saw that, so I told people that
I still watching. Everyone's like, you still watch that? I'm like,
it's my guilty pleasure. I've been watching these characters for years,
same girls like Carrie brad Bradshaw's Samantha is no longer
(46:31):
no no no, so she's not in the new one,
but I'm still keeping up with these ladies. Yeah, so
I guess that's a guilty pleasure.
Speaker 3 (46:37):
Carrie looks good too.
Speaker 2 (46:38):
She looks beautiful, doesn't she?
Speaker 3 (46:40):
She looks really good.
Speaker 4 (46:40):
Stories Yeah, Howard started like, damn she is good?
Speaker 2 (46:45):
All right?
Speaker 4 (46:46):
Question With that being said, Netflix, we're just talking. Yes,
poop Island, that's the poop cruise I didn't see.
Speaker 3 (46:59):
Would you rather breathe Pleasure Island?
Speaker 2 (47:01):
I want rather be on Pleasure Island. Yes, good god,
I am terrible, all right, Sean, there's an idea. Yes,
Poop the Poop Cruise on Netflix. You must watch it.
You've seen it correct. It showed up and I was like, yes,
I'm like.
Speaker 4 (47:19):
Oh my god, that was mouth on like jaw dropping disgusting.
And you would never ever ever get on a boat
ever again.
Speaker 2 (47:27):
In your life.
Speaker 7 (47:28):
Never.
Speaker 2 (47:28):
What would you have done?
Speaker 3 (47:30):
I would have lost my mind?
Speaker 2 (47:31):
Like would you have like I? I guess I would
have just tried to sleep, you know how they pulled
the mattresses out onto the decks and they were sleeping.
But I don't know what I would have done.
Speaker 3 (47:41):
Have you guys been on cruis? No?
Speaker 2 (47:43):
I've been on one cruise.
Speaker 3 (47:44):
What was it like? Cruise? Okay?
Speaker 4 (47:47):
I was twelve, So I have no desire to ever
go on a cruise.
Speaker 2 (47:52):
I don't think I ever really want to do after
watching that No Poop Cruise.
Speaker 4 (47:56):
No, definitely not what I will say. As long as
there's a casina, you know you got my attention, all right.
Speaker 6 (48:02):
If there's a casino on land, like I do, I'd
rather do so many other vacations, hundreds of other vacations
that I would.
Speaker 4 (48:08):
Rather do ye go on a cruise. Yeah, but I'm
not anti cruise. My wife is anti cruise. I am
now anti cruise after that move, after the show. Yeah,
and the poop Cruise. I'm telling you, they have this.
Natalie saw it, but they have It's like you know,
they're they're there running it back. It's under a title name,
and uh, it's forty five to fifty minutes.
Speaker 3 (48:27):
It's a quick live and it's like perfect.
Speaker 2 (48:30):
You're just hard the whole time.
Speaker 3 (48:31):
Yeah, you really are.
Speaker 4 (48:32):
And man, just nasty, absolutely nasty stuff happening on the
poop Cruise, not poop Island. All right, Final question number

the third person I did these questions with, and both
