Speaker 1 (00:02):
Big five o'clock hour here Daily Ticket. Matt Jericho hanging
with us. Great to have him in studio, having some
fun behind the scenes, talking a little bit more about fanatics,
vest and the monster that Michael Rubin created. And I said, Matt,
you need to get the invite to the White Party, man,

(00:22):
so keep our eyes on that one, the big White Party,
which Michael Rubin throws. I saw a what hell is
his name? Joey Joey. He's a fantastic comic from Indiana,
and he did a bit about the Entourage gang Joey Marlino.

Speaker 2 (00:40):
Is that it? I want to say that Skinny Joey?

Speaker 1 (00:43):
Yeah there, no, no, no, no, no no no no,
not him, my bad different guy from Indiana comic.

Speaker 3 (00:48):
But I know you'd work with Skinny joe. I thought,
that's a Joey Morlena. Yeah, yeah, that's right down the block.

Speaker 2 (00:53):
Have some cheese steaks. Make sure I'll check it out. Yeah,
I'm right. How good are they over there? Oh incredible?
It's all so fresh too. Thanks.

Speaker 3 (01:00):
No choice, It's got no choice but to be fresh
when you have people down the block. I mean, it's
it's straight off the grill coming to your mouth.

Speaker 1 (01:06):
That's amazing. Yeah, those guys are killing it. It seems
like there's a line all the time.

Speaker 3 (01:10):
Arranging the game, and we're linking him up with some
of the guys so like they're getting some athlete endorsements
over there. The coast signs, the birds are coming through.
They're liking it. It's it's a big deal, very nice. Yeah,
Snuff is my guy too. Yeah, he's the that man
could sell water to the ocean. I swear he is incredible.
He is so well versed and he's another one. You
could have him on here and he could just talk

(01:32):
for hours. He's the best. Yeah, he is good. People
over there.

Speaker 1 (01:35):
But they did this Entourage bit and it was pretty
damn funny. It was about, you know, he was playing
the scenes of all these guys from Entourage about getting
the invite to the White Party, and I thought that was, okay,
a funny bit. And of course that that is being
thrown by Ruben every summer. So I'm sure they'll be
coming to a timeline near you again, big big things
for Matt and in the future. We were talking a

(01:58):
little bit about Deuce mcbrig and be meeting up with
anything else as far as big time events coming up
here soon for you next weekend.

Speaker 3 (02:04):
Got a little camp with Mike Gseki down in Barnegut,
so that's really cool. Got some other things kind of
just in the works, a lot of moves to be made.
The thing in the sports world and that I'm learning
is that everything moves at a snail's pace until it
doesn't and then all of a sudden, you know, within
a short time, you go from hey, like we're not
sure if this is gonna happen to it's a full

(02:26):
blown event next month, you know, and now it's all
hands on deck and everything is going.

Speaker 2 (02:31):
All the focuses on that.

Speaker 3 (02:32):
So there's a lot of cool things, a lot of
cool people that I was able to connect over these
past few months working in all these different areas, you know,
working with clear Vision and then also other brands and
other you know, fanatics and all these other places Pinstripe, Pride,
at American Dream Mall, with the Yankees, I mean, all
these other things that I've been able to do and
also extend my network too, has allowed me to then,

(02:54):
you know, connect the dots between people and it's a
win for everybody, the athletes, you know, we went off
of it because you know, we're making events happen and
the fans ultimately win because it becomes an experience for
them too.

Speaker 2 (03:05):
Yeah, no doubt about that. I've been trying to get
to that mall up there. It's ridiculous. Yeah, it's it
really is absurd.

Speaker 3 (03:11):
I mean I got to see the pinstripe Pride was cool,
and the unvaulted or card vault by Tom Brady, that
unveiling that weekend with Ruben where they did that little
panel that was I mean, it's wild and it's in
a great spot. People love it and you get there's
no doubt that you're gonna pack it out with fans
and there's enough room for it.

Speaker 1 (03:30):
Yeah, it was a monster facility, so nice work by
those people.

Speaker 3 (03:33):
You could probably find some bubbles in there too, Yeah,
he probably could, exactly. Brady seems to be wrong with Ruben.
Rubin and Brady are tight these days. Tom Brady has
taking like the craziest pr turn. I mean, like people
didn't like him, and not that I didn't like him,
but I didn't love him. And now I'm just like
this guy. He's like the next coming of you know,
the Messiah, Like he loves the people. He loves giving back,

(03:55):
and he's always like out and about taking pictures with
fans signing, like.

Speaker 2 (03:59):
Really behind the scenes, tom Brady's cool.

Speaker 3 (04:02):
Everything that I've seen from Tom Brady has been like
he's the absolute man and he I mean, at this point,
he's about to be dating Sidney Sweeney.

Speaker 2 (04:10):
I'm sure we've seen those rumors you know that around
and I mean, is that real? You think you have?

Speaker 3 (04:15):
Listen, man, at this point, what can we put past
this man? There's nothing he is. He's the ultimate goat.
And like that's the thing is that, like I'm standing here,
I mean I've gotten to meet him or like not
meet him directly, like have a conversation with him, but
I'm working hand in hand with you next to Tom
Brady like three or four times now, and every time
I'm just taken back by like, Wow, he is the

(04:37):
greatest quarterback ever and he is this cool of a
person Like that is super wild to me because they
don't have to be Wow.

Speaker 1 (04:45):
Yeah, man, Sidney Sweeney. Everybody loves Sidney Sweeney.

Speaker 2 (04:49):
Type right there.

Speaker 1 (04:51):
It's everybody's type, all right.

Speaker 2 (04:55):
That Jerry Hanging went to us again.

Speaker 1 (04:57):
Phillies ended up losing Game one, Game two coming up
this evening.

Speaker 2 (05:01):
Let me go ahead and fire up DraftKings.

Speaker 1 (05:02):
See exactly what time we got six to fifteen first
pitch Christopher Sanchez versus Dylan Sees on the mound minus
one fifty eight for the Phillies, plus one twenty nine
for the Padres. Here low low total of seven and
a half, which is intriguing. I would say, don't dance
to the devil against Sanchez because he has been lights out,
especially in the month of June. Five starts one point
four eight e r a last time out, eleven strikeouts.

(05:26):
He's showing six plus at plus one thirty. Maybe take
a little flyer on that action there, five and a
half at plus one thirty to get to six on DraftKings.
So that would be something that I would look at.
Definitely be interested because he has been ripping it up.
As far as Schwarber, Schwerber's my guy, Matt. He went
yard in game one. I'm gonna back him again here

(05:46):
in game two, even lower price. So that tells you
a little something there. I don't have a feel for
this Phillies team to go out there and win tonight,
but I will back Schwarber on a two plus bases
and get those six strikeouts and we'll locked that.

Speaker 2 (05:59):
In on DK see if we can get a winner there.

Speaker 3 (06:02):
Let me put you onto a little game that me
and my friends play. So I'm in a group chat.
I'm a Yankees fan, but I'm in a group chat
with a bunch of Mets fans from Queens and all
over Staten Island area. And a game that we play
is that we send the Mets lineup and the odds
for that player to hit a home run that night. Okay,
And so if say, you know, we're looking at Kyle
Schwarber plus two twenty five. If you get that right

(06:24):
and Kyle Schwarber hits a home run, you get two
point twenty five points, and at the end of the year,
the person with the highest point total wins. If that
guy hits two home runs, then you're gonna get five
and a half or four and a half points. So
it becomes a game where like you're betting on the
odds and you're playing with the odds, but at the
same time, like you have a long season where if
I get on a heater of just picking the right guy,

(06:45):
and now it's become like, guys are really looking at matchups,
so all of a sudden, we're looking at we know,
it becomes like you're more of a fan of the
game all of a sudden, because you're dissecting every single thing.
So it's like, oh, you know, what does Trey Turner
do against you know, in the state of Houston, or
you know, when it's sunny out verse when it's rainy,

(07:06):
And then we're having these conversations and all of a sudden,
these point totals, you know, at the end of the season,
the point totals are ridiculous, and it becomes a lot closer,
like you would think somebody runs away, but it's tough, man,
and it becomes a really fun game.

Speaker 1 (07:19):
I like that because you know, and again, look, we
all want people to gamble responsibly, and it's really cool
because you're not really locking.

Speaker 2 (07:27):
In money on that. You know, you guys are having
an inner competition. Of course, there's probably money at the end,
I would.

Speaker 3 (07:31):
Assume, right, right, But Fantasy baseball like is a lot
you know what I mean, Like, I feel like fantasy
baseball is very overwhelming. I only play fantasy football. I've
tried baseball and basketball in the past because there's nothing
for games during the week exactly, so this makes it
more manageable. I look at things once. Really, you know,
it takes me five to ten minutes of my time,
if even I mean most of the time, I'll just

(07:52):
pick a random that i'd like, you know, oh, Pete Alonzo,
you know what I mean, Like Francisco Indoor. You can't
really go wrong there. And then it's become where you
can pick the same guy to two out of three games,
and it really changes things up and makes it so
you know, there's an even playing field, and you know,
like you're saying, like you get to you gamble on
a little something, but you know you're not there. There's

(08:12):
nothing crazy, and it's still having fun with your buddies
while still getting that like Fantasy Baseball type feel.

Speaker 2 (08:18):
I like that.

Speaker 1 (08:18):
No, you're right, and it's pretty cool stuff there again,
keeping it fun with the friends in the group chat
and a little banter back and forth.

Speaker 2 (08:25):
You always gotta love that.

Speaker 1 (08:27):
Again, Philly's game two tonight and Christopher Sanchez has been
lights out, definitely something that has my attention.

Speaker 2 (08:33):
There. You said you're a Yankee fan. Correct.

Speaker 3 (08:35):
At the end of the day, I am an entire
New York sports guy. I've just been finding myself in
the niche of Philadelphia. And the thing is is that
I really don't like There has been no.

Speaker 2 (08:49):
Like.

Speaker 3 (08:49):
I don't hate any of the Philadelphia teams by any means.
I mean, I know Sean hates the Knicks. Sean absolutely
despises this.

Speaker 1 (08:56):
He's built that up and right, you know that's that's
his go to, right, he is filed. He runs that
territory of like the hatred of the Knicks. Because we
have a friend who has a roommate who's a diehard
Knicks fan and he's like.

Speaker 2 (09:09):
Dude, I can't stand Bernard. Yes, right exactly.

Speaker 3 (09:13):
And I said to Sean, I think I don't want
to take cit credit because Sean's incredible in his own self.
But when we first collaborated, a lot of my Nick's
timeline got a taste of Sean, and once I said
to him, I said, Sean, you might have to just
be that the villain, and he was like, you think
that will get good engagement. I'm like, dude, I know
it will. New York fans will fall for anything, and

(09:34):
he's ran with that, and so all power to him.
For just taking it, and you know, he gets a
little out of control sometimes. I mean he was telling
me Kate Cunningham's a better point guard than Jalen Brunson.
We were going to let you know all these things,
but no, at the end of the day, it was
it was so awesome to see the way that like
his interaction and everything, and he's built his like identity

(09:55):
and brand, and you know what, somebody has to be
that guy. So if Sean takes and being the ops,
you know, I don't have any hate for the Sixers.

Speaker 2 (10:03):
I mean maybe because we won.

Speaker 3 (10:04):
The series that last year, but it's like, I don't know,
I like attending Sixers games. I attended a Sixers game
before I attended a Knicks game. My first ever NBA
game was when James Harden dropped like fifty seven eighteen
and nineteen triple double at Wells Fargo and MBID had
like forty five that night. I think it's like twenty
eighteen or twenty seventeen even, and uh, just wild stuff.

(10:27):
And I mean I have nothing against the Sixers. I
love the Philadelphia but at the end of the day,
I am a New York sports Yeah. So yeah, back
to what you were saying, Yankee fan. No, yeah, Yankees
are killing it, man.

Speaker 1 (10:37):
They are going through a little bit of struggle, but
again they went through that last year.

Speaker 3 (10:41):
I think they're in the same boat as the Phillies though,
to where like even if like there this timeline or
in this window of opportunity has been open for so long.
I mean I was talking to my dad like last
week and I was like, I got a memory in
my phone twenty eighteen and it was like a picture
of Stanton and Judge, and I'm like, we've been trying
with this same like core concept for almost a decade now,

(11:04):
and it's like, how many times are we gonna keep
doing this? And me and Sean I clipped up last
night that you guys had posted Sean basically equating you know,
that Phillies diamondback series to the Sixers Hawks series and
the same thing there. It's like, how many times are
we gonna run back with this window of opportunity before
it's too late? And so like, what's your feeling of
like the Phillies, I feel like they have to win

(11:26):
within this next year or so or else things are
really slipping away.

Speaker 1 (11:30):
Well, they're gonna have an interesting decision to be made
with Kyle Schwarber. I know they want him back and
everybody does, but that's gonna be a high price contract.
Trying to think they're gonna have to try something new
with Casianos, I don't think casian is delivering, although his
contract isn't too crazy, but at the end of the day,
you need more power from that position. Boem is a

(11:53):
Scott Boris guy, so I'd assume he's gone. Ranger Suarez
probably gonna be gone as well, So there's gonna be
a lot of movement no matter what happens. But I
think that if this team makes the playoffs and losing
that first round, probably Thompson would get the h it
would be removed. Whether that's gonna lead you to bigger

(12:13):
things next year, it's just how it works professional sports.

Speaker 2 (12:16):
Not sure.

Speaker 1 (12:16):
So, Yeah, winning cures all and if they don't do
that in the playoffs this upcoming year, if they are
lucky to make the playoffs, continue to play well in
the second half of the season, then yeah, there will
be definitely some trade, some changes that will be made.
But you know, you could say that about every team,
and there's only one team that wins it every year.

Speaker 2 (12:33):
Right, It's so tough. It's just so tough for professional sports.
But nobody wants excuses. They just want winners, that's it. Yeah.

Speaker 3 (12:40):
And even when the Dodgers won, I feel like it
was like, all right, it's about time, you know, like
their window is from like that, I mean twenty fifteen
almost to like twenty twenty. I mean they're still in
that window, but it's just like not expected. But like
for the Yankees, for the Phillies, for the Dodgers, and
even that one year with the Padres, it was like
if you won the World Series, it was like you

(13:01):
should have.

Speaker 2 (13:01):
Your team was stacked.

Speaker 3 (13:03):
So I feel like at this point there's it's lacked
its luster when it comes to both the Yankees and
Phillies as far as the playoff runs, because they should
have been winning.

Speaker 2 (13:11):
It's funny.

Speaker 1 (13:12):
We have a big monitor in front of us at
the studio and I love the YouTube four box, So
we got a bunch going on, and of course the
big topic with the Knicks hiring Mike Brown. There, they
were just showing a stat about minutes played by starters
tips was like thirty two point nine, and Mike Brow
is thirty one point two, So right there, nipping at
the heels again. It's just that's fine, the averages, that's understood.

(13:36):
But there is clearly a difference between the way TIBs
operates and any other coach at the NBA level, so
things will be different. And oh, by the way, like
I said, you gotta like the moves that the Knicks
have made so far. You have Selly's gonna fit a
nice role, Jordan clars is gonna fit a nice role.
You already have your starters locked in yep. Not saying
that they're done. They possibly could be done, but we'll see.

(13:57):
But there's definitely a new vibe with the as far
as the bench is concerned, for sure. I mean I'm
excited to see.

Speaker 3 (14:03):
Like I said, Douce McBride under Mike Brown, I feel
like Tom Thibdeau is one of those guys that kind
of I get it the young guys like you gotta
have them on a little bit short of a leash
a time when you're contending. But I feel like sometimes
you know they're afraid to make mistakes because of Tom Thibodeau,
And I feel like Mike Brown gives you a little
bit more flexibility, and I do think that there is

(14:25):
going to be a big conversation had about the minutes thing,
because that is something that is I mean, Tom Thibodeau
is the only guy in the league that was running
these guys into the ground, or his guys into the ground,
because it's he's outdated, quite frankly, and it's proven that
you can't teach an old dog new tricks. And that's
ultimately what I think got him fired.

Speaker 1 (14:44):
Yeah, no, you're right about that. That's how I view
it as well. Dude, this was great getting you in studio,
Matt can't. Yeah, of course, fourth of July coming up,
perfect time to get you in studio, have some fun,
mix it up. I know you've got a busy, busy schedule.
Continue to follow you on all things socials. Please plug away.

Speaker 2 (15:02):
Your number one platform is Instagram.

Speaker 3 (15:04):
I would probably say, yeah, Instagram's where I'm the most
active at Matt Jericho. The last part is the zero
or the O is a zero. That's M A T
T C H I R C zero and that is
my Instagram and my Twitter or x and uh yeah,
you could add me on all platforms and if you
want to see the content that I'm making. You could
follow clear Vision on Instagram. You could follow Fox the

(15:26):
Gambler on Instagram, because we're always cutting up clips over
here as well. You could follow Moses the Jeweler. We're
cutting up his clips. I mean, we're everywhere. If you
don't see me, you're seeing one of my clients. So
just know that we're always moving, we're always working, and
we've got some stuff on the way over on this
side for both myself and with the Gambler guys.

Speaker 2 (15:44):
Moses the Jeweler, Yeah, now he is.

Speaker 1 (15:47):
The one that is really all over the place right nuts.

Speaker 3 (15:50):
The guy is incredible. My mind is blown by him
every time I'm you know, working at.

Speaker 2 (15:55):
This stuff that's in one point night. How did you
mix up with him?

Speaker 3 (15:58):
So Dean is good friends with the Ak family and
they own a booth in the Diamond District, and so
we've went in a couple times and Dean is a
big man of faith, and so is Moses. And you know,
Dean went up to Moses and basically just said, man, like,
you know, I love your platform, love what you're doing.
You know, keep up the great work. And then we've

(16:19):
seen him a few more times, a few more times,
and then all of a sudden, you know, we became like,
hey man, how's it going. We talked for a minute,
and his best friend Ben posted one day on Instagram,
We're looking for a video editor and videographer, and so
we came into contact with them, sat down, started showing
him some of the work. And not only was it

(16:39):
the work that you know, we were showing them, but
it was also hey, man, like we see what you're building,
and we think we can contribute something as well, Like
what clearly what you have is working, Like let's get
some NFL guys in here getting iced out, you know,
like let's get some influencers that we know in here
and getting iced out making this content, making deals happen.
And so we just continued to establish this relationship to

(17:01):
where I'm editing clips for them. We're running a clip page,
so if anyone wants to check it out, it's called
Moses Vault on Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube. Right now, we
have a Facebook coming soon and a Twitter coming soon
as well. So there's a lot of moving parts, but
it's it's all the best stuff, man, It's all great stuff.
And like I said, I'm incredibly incredibly blessed to be
in this position, incredibly blessed to be here in this room.

Speaker 2 (17:24):
And uh, I just got to give all glory to God.

Speaker 3 (17:26):
Man, he's done great things for me and continues to
you know, put me in incredible positions.

Speaker 2 (17:31):
You keep it going, man.

Speaker 1 (17:32):
Obviously we're gonna be teaming up and working with some
stuff here in the future. Get you back in here
and on the show and football season right around the
corner where we know we're gonna get busy, so it's
gonna be a lot of fun. But Moses the Jeweler
is the real damn deal. That's pretty crazy, man.

Speaker 3 (17:47):
You got linked wmkay you ever need a bust down
AP you know where?

Speaker 1 (17:50):
You know?

Speaker 2 (17:51):
Come on, I did that. Yeah, you know I don't
even speak that language. Would you say? What's the AP?
What does that mean?

Speaker 3 (17:58):
So a bust down AP is an automar pagette watch
that is coded in.

Speaker 2 (18:03):
Diamonds, and that's great. Yeah, yeah, that's great.

Speaker 3 (18:07):
The bust down is the whole diamonds look like when
you see and it's all covered.

Speaker 2 (18:11):
That's called bust down. Okay, yeah that is hysterical.

Speaker 1 (18:14):
Yeah, look, I am a fan of obviously nice watches. Now,
when you do bust it down with nothing but ice,
that's another level that I don't think I'll ever get to.

Speaker 2 (18:25):
But one day in life, I would hope that I
would rock a roller. We'll see.

Speaker 3 (18:27):
The thing is, the crazy part is that the bust
downs realistically are and this is a little game. You
guys can't leak this. Okay, bust downs are cheaper as
far as for the manufacturer, but they sell for more,
right because they're hired.

Speaker 2 (18:42):
Everyone wants the iced out pet, you know.

Speaker 3 (18:44):
But realistically, the Rolex with the diamond Bazel, the classic
sub Mariner date, just those are the ones.

Speaker 2 (18:50):
That you know you really wanted. That's the status symbol
right there. So I can talk watches, let's go definitely. Definitely.

Speaker 3 (18:59):
I've wasn't really too into watching until I started working
with them, And one of the big segments is watch history.
So last week it was about a watch that was
Pablo Escobar his signature, which became yeah, no numbers on
the dial, completely blank faced dial, and that became the
Escobar look with this signature band. It's so cool, man Like,
there's so much that we don't know about that goes

(19:21):
into these little watches. These intricacies that they serve a
huge purpose in the long run, but you would never
think so. So look at this dude's website. Unbelievable wild
stuff his next level. Yeah, so are you, Matt. Thank
you very much for stopping by. I appreciate it, man,
thanks for having me. I have a great Fourth of July.
Will connect next week.

Speaker 1 (19:40):
We'll get everything going here and I look forward to
seeing more of your stuff on my timeline. Always great
to connect once again. Matt Jericho hanging with us here.
Make sure you follow him in all things socials and
support the brand.

Speaker 2 (19:54):
Coming up next it is.

Speaker 1 (19:55):
Football is King SEC preview coming your way. Nick mcl
and Ryan beef Coyle they'll take over here on the Gambler.
Then at six o'clock swinging and ding it all things
PGA Tour. Just to let you know, we got the
John Deere Classic going off. I had some things written
up if I couldn't mind, If you want to mind,
Davis Thompson and the winning last year, sepstrac A, JT

(20:15):
Posting and Lucas Glover, those are past champions there.

Speaker 2 (20:19):
I would look at Ben Griffin. He's definitely a.

Speaker 1 (20:21):
Guy that I'm I have my eye on at sixteen
to one. That is who I took on my swing
it and ding it one and done play. So we're
gonna ride with him at sixteen to one, one of
the hotter golfers this year. We'll see what happens there.
But all eyes are on the of course, the Open
Championship that is coming on July seventeenth.

Speaker 2 (20:38):
But we got the John Deere Classics. A good look
on all those plays. Can't wait to hear what's swinging
and ding it has to say coming up at six o'clock. Everybody,
I'm off tomorrow.

Speaker 1 (20:46):
Enjoy your Fourth of July holiday, get those barbecues rowing,
get the bubble machine out, take care of the kids
and mixture.

Speaker 2 (20:56):
You're playing that divorce Dad playlist. Need it, gotta have it, Everybody,
Enjoy the rest of your day. Football is King is next.
