Speaker 1 (00:00):
Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls.

Speaker 2 (00:01):
Hello, My name is Sean Brace, joined by the great
jam and Jesse from one oh four five of course
iHeartRadio in Philadelphia, Fox Sports to Gambler Jesse.

Speaker 1 (00:10):
We're out on location today.

Speaker 2 (00:12):
We are They allowed the kids to get outside, as
they say, we outside.

Speaker 1 (00:18):
We out here, all right.

Speaker 2 (00:19):
So we are currently live from Gerhart's Appliances, the brand
new showroom in Phoenixville's beautiful. Oh, it's incredible.

Speaker 1 (00:27):
Now.

Speaker 2 (00:28):
I've been doing a little bit of research finding out
what this place was before. Oh, but they have took
it up to a whole nother level, and it was.

Speaker 1 (00:37):
A an appliance store.

Speaker 2 (00:38):
I guess in previous times they saw the opportunity to
get into this great area of Phoenixville. Tremendous, gorgeous drive in.
We were talking about that a little earlier. But just
a shopping center right here where Gerhart's Appliances is located.
We'll go over to the address. Of course, everything will
be located in the link. You just go to Gearharts
Appliance dot com. You'll be able to see the brand

(01:00):
new showroom here in Phoenixville. Jesse, I walk in, you
know where we're at home ownership. Yeah, I could take
one of each.

Speaker 3 (01:08):
I want everything, Yes, so I've It's not that I
went like the cheap route, but I didn't realize that, Like,
you know, I have my own place, and I'm like,
I'm a pretty simple person. So now when I'm like cooking,
like what did I get this oven? Why did I
get this microwave? I think it was just because, but
it's not. It's not the best.

Speaker 1 (01:28):
They're old.

Speaker 3 (01:29):
I come here, everything is so nice, it's so new,
and I'm like, you know what, maybe I do need
a little bit of an upgrade.

Speaker 1 (01:36):
Well, if you do, you're in the right place. I know.

Speaker 3 (01:38):
Seamus is yo. If you come here, you need to
find Seamus.

Speaker 1 (01:42):
Seamus is really good at his job.

Speaker 2 (01:44):
Yeah. Matter of fact, you know, look over the last
year or so with of course teaming up with Mike
Powers and his great relationship with the folks here at
Gerhart's Appliance. Bottom line is everyone we have dealt with
it really takes it to heart and wants to give
you the.

Speaker 1 (01:58):
Best customer service as possible.

Speaker 2 (02:01):
And then it's real easy, in my opinion, to do
that when you are serving up these great brands to people,
whether it's the Webert grills outside. I was out over
there talking to the gentleman from Fridger Gallery. Uh.

Speaker 1 (02:13):
The monogram I believe is over.

Speaker 2 (02:14):
In the back corner, just custom kitchen sets, talking about steel,
stainless steel, Raine stoves.

Speaker 3 (02:23):
See that Batman smooth like steel, like you can't even
get fingerprints on it.

Speaker 2 (02:27):
It's so nice and it's not literally a Batman, but
you're saying it looked like Batman, Like I totally know.

Speaker 4 (02:34):
It was really good of you to try to clarify.

Speaker 2 (02:37):
No, well, I say, it does feel like something that
would be in the back cave.

Speaker 3 (02:41):
It was so cool also too, like the sails wraps,
not even just saying this. They're like cool.

Speaker 1 (02:47):
They're not that annoying in.

Speaker 3 (02:49):
Your face, like hey, I gotta tell you something. They're
like I said, Seamus, ask for Jamis. But everybody here
has been super cool, super nice, really really approachable, not sales,
the type of energy like it.

Speaker 4 (03:03):
It's really pretty in here.

Speaker 5 (03:04):
I love the lighting.

Speaker 1 (03:05):
Well, they are rolling out.

Speaker 2 (03:07):
It's a fair essentially like a fair grand opening, and
they got all sorts of cool things for the kids here.
They got popcorn over there, they got a cotton candy
stand of course, all the ore nerves that you can,
like you can chew up free drinks on.

Speaker 1 (03:24):
The house sushi. Did you see that?

Speaker 2 (03:26):
I did not see the sushi. They got somebody rolling
up sushi over there. Ye insane, absolutely incredible. You know
one thing I wanted to come back to too is that,
you know, we always want the lowest price, like that's
going to get you to where you want to be,
right Like, Okay, I'm in the market for let's just
say a brand new dishwasher. Let's just throw it out

(03:46):
there first of all. Okay, there it is, And I
know how this works for everybody. We're on the same boat.

Speaker 1 (03:51):
You're gonna go outside, Can I just have some you
want water? We will make that happen you ma'am. Absolutely,
you know what.

Speaker 2 (04:03):
I will grab Mike Powers right here, and Mike Powers
will be able to help you out as far as
with waters. Yes, I know you're out front, thank you.
See we do it all here at Garharts.

Speaker 1 (04:14):
We do it all.

Speaker 3 (04:15):
Doesn't even matter if we're in the middle of a broadcast.

Speaker 1 (04:17):
We're here for the people.

Speaker 3 (04:19):
That's why you got to come here and hang out
with us.

Speaker 1 (04:20):
What were you saying about dishwasher.

Speaker 2 (04:21):
So back the story, I was thinking about this in
a way, and this is how I would deliver Gerhart's
message and let people know that they need to visit
a showroom near them. They've been serving, obviously to Philadelphia
public for over eighty five plus years, right. We want
to support those people that support us. That's number one.
But number two is putting all that to the side.
We care about the price. So if I'm in the

(04:43):
market for a new dishwasher, I'm gonna go online and
go look at what's out there, who's selling what? Oh,
that price might be fifteen twenty five, fifty dollars cheap
or a hundred dollars cheap or whatever it is.

Speaker 1 (04:54):
And that's automatically gonna get your attention.

Speaker 2 (04:55):
And that's understood. And I don't even know as far
as when it comes to the prices and what's not.
I know that these prices are absolutely the best brand
new showroom. Of course, they're trying to.

Speaker 1 (05:05):
Roll out the best deals possible.

Speaker 2 (05:06):
Yeah, but what goes into that more is, like you
discussed the customer service, dealing with people that want to
deal that you want to deal with. How about the
fact that if something does go wrong.

Speaker 3 (05:18):
I know he was just telling me about it, like
you're not getting a one eight hundred number getting them
like right away, I cannot tell you no, you would
know any one eight hundred Verizon nightmare, every single whatever,
doesn't matter where I call it.

Speaker 2 (05:32):
That.

Speaker 3 (05:32):
The fact that he told me that, I was like, dude.

Speaker 2 (05:36):
Sold well, that's what means a lot to me. And
I like, I try and put up you know, like
we do this for a living. When we talk to
the listeners, talk to people on air. You know, we
put we're in your car seat, we're right next to you,
so like we're friends, we know how you operate. We
all operate the same way. And all that I was
thinking about is like what's important to me? Yes, price,
of course, but you want to be comfortable. You want
to do business with people that you want to do

(05:58):
business with.

Speaker 1 (05:59):
Right it's playing in SIMI.

Speaker 2 (06:00):
But these are the little things that I think people
if they do appreciate that, they need to get to
a Gearheart's showroom, check them out, support them. Obviously, if
you are looking for a brand new doesn't mean you
have to go walk out of there with the dishwasherit, no,
but come and checking them out first, great locations all
across the board, all throughout the course of the Delaware Valley.

Speaker 1 (06:19):
And as I said, Gearhearts Appliance dot Com, it's.

Speaker 3 (06:22):
Like big box retailers, Like you don't have to deal
with that here. This is what I really like again.

Speaker 5 (06:28):
Like I won't.

Speaker 3 (06:29):
You know, you get a dishwasher somewhere, that's fine, you
pick it up, then you have to call somebody else
to put it in for you. It's like a whole
run around. And here I'm all about the family businesses
and you know, been doing everything local over eighty years,
Like there's a no brainer. Plus me and you were similar.
It's like we would only support something that we actually

(06:52):
fully are behind, believe in, and Gearharts is one of
these places. And yeah, I will never do a big
box retailler ever again.

Speaker 2 (07:01):
Yeah, look, trust me, it's one of those deals where
you just don't know until you do.

Speaker 1 (07:06):
And like you said, we're not here to pooh pooh
anybody else.

Speaker 2 (07:12):
We're here to just build up what Gara Arts has
already built and try and put it out there for
the people a little bit more, because it's one of
those things where maybe you might be a little reluctant
to go into a local showroom. Maybe you don't know
anything about the history when it comes to Gearharts, and
I think it's important for people to understand that they've
been doing this that long and they deliver. They absolutely

(07:33):
they deliver and their promises. It starts it ends with
the products. The products are top notch. You could go
walk across anyone over their showrooms, but this one, specifically
in Phoenixville, have everything from the unbelievable full kitchens so
sick like.

Speaker 1 (07:48):
The crazy thing to me was like the color scheme.

Speaker 3 (07:52):
He said that they can custom like you just tell
them what your kitchen looks like or what you're thinking.
They can custom design certain appliances to match your That
is something that is so cool.

Speaker 2 (08:02):
Yeah, yeah, that that's important of course, you know, And
I know my wife's gonna love this because I try
not to put words into her mouth, but you know,
it's one thing where I'm like, hey, we got a
stainless steel. Well she liked to have some options, right, like,
oh yeah, that stainless steel is great, but what about
the black? What about this silver? What about like I said,
they have like a royal blue? I am I love blue.

(08:22):
I don't know what it is.

Speaker 1 (08:23):
I'm a royal blue guy. I am a blue guy.

Speaker 2 (08:28):
Yeah, my house growing up, my dad painted it royal blue.
We were the only blue house on the block. Ridiculous.
My mom gave him hell forever about that. Anyways, but
we're here royal blue all right. Gerhart's Appliance dot Com.
Check them out online. Brand new showroom in Phoenixville. And

(08:48):
as I said, the link, you'll be able to check
out as far as the address is concerned. And uh,
like they got the showrooms all over the place. The
one that I can't wait for is the one that's
on South Tenderson Road, King of Prussia.

Speaker 1 (09:01):
That's right hometown. That's it.

Speaker 2 (09:03):
And look, ultimately they opened up the two new ones.
They're not stopping there, but these are the focus right now.

Speaker 1 (09:11):
It's huge for them.

Speaker 2 (09:12):
And with this fair deal that they're rolling out. They
got people cooking outside, they got all sorts of games
for kids.

Speaker 1 (09:17):
A lot of funnel case. I have yet to have
the funnel cake out there. I know I will.

Speaker 2 (09:24):
Gerhart's Appliance dot Com in Phoenixville also too.

Speaker 3 (09:31):
Like I'm from King of Prussia. It's super excited about
the King of Prussia location.

Speaker 1 (09:34):
Yep.

Speaker 3 (09:34):
But if you're like waiting, dude, you just drive through
Valley Forge Park. You just get on it and what
twenty three and you just take it all the way
straight shot through and boom.

Speaker 1 (09:45):
You're here on georgeous road. Yeah, Nut Road. Thank you.
You knew all along it was Nut Road.

Speaker 2 (09:49):
You knew all lost.

Speaker 1 (09:51):
Seven hundred Nut Road. I was over here. It's an
unforgettable road name. Let's be let's be frank, seven hundred
Nut Road. That's do I remember.

Speaker 2 (10:02):
We'll save the suite and all that because you can't
miss it you drive down the road.

Speaker 1 (10:07):
It's a brand.

Speaker 2 (10:07):
It's a shopping center that has a bunch of grocery stores,
a lot of stores on the other side that choose from,
and then right front and center brand new Gearheart's Appliance
in Phoenixville.

Speaker 1 (10:17):
On seven hundred Nut Nut Road. I like that. Jam
and Jesse one oh.

Speaker 2 (10:22):
Four five die hard Philadelphia Phillies fan rocking the Phillies
Tank day off for our fightings day off for the.

Speaker 1 (10:31):
How do you how do you deal with we got
Mike powers.

Speaker 3 (10:35):
They control my emotions, so I don't even know where
this is going.

Speaker 1 (10:38):
So how do I deal with it.

Speaker 3 (10:39):
I don't even know.

Speaker 2 (10:40):
All right, Hey Sean Brace here, Now, when you shop local,
you're not just making a purchase, You're making a difference.
Gearheart's Appliances, they've been serving our community for over eighty years,
supporting the neighborhoods we call home. Instead of sending your
hard earned money to a national chain, support the home
team at Gearhart's probably serving all the Philadelphia, Glenside, Doylestown, malvern,
Ardmore and beyond with top quality appliances and unbeatable local service.

(11:03):
Shop smart, Shop Local, shop at Gearharts, Visit Gearharts Appliance
dot com, or visit any of their six locations.

Speaker 1 (11:10):
I am here with the mister Gearhart's, Jerry Gerharts.

Speaker 2 (11:14):
Jerry Jesse and I were just talking about your fabulous
showroom here in Phoenixville, seven hundred Nut Road, and I
just want to be upfront with you because I was
driving in and I was coming up with the ideas
of like what's important to me when I'm looking for
whatever appliance it is.

Speaker 1 (11:29):
And I think a lot of us are in.

Speaker 2 (11:30):
A similar situation where we'll go online and we'll look
and we'll say, okay, compare dollars and cents, But there's
more to it. As I'm getting a little older, and
one of the things that stick out to me the
most is customer service. Heaven forbid, if something goes wrong,
people that I feel like want my business that I
want to deal with continue basis and exactly what you

(11:51):
guys specialize here.

Speaker 1 (11:53):
Look, this showroom is unbelievable.

Speaker 2 (11:56):
Obviously you guys have been in the area for eighty
plus years. Yes, but the bottom line is the customer
service top notch, and I think that that for me
is the thing that that shines through the most everything. Obviously,
comparison prices, you guys are rolling out the red carpet.
You guys have everything that you can offer here.

Speaker 1 (12:15):
But when it comes to customer service, that delivers the
most for me.

Speaker 4 (12:18):
Yeah.

Speaker 6 (12:18):
So I'm the third generation and that's kind of what
how we build our business is. You know, everyone can
sell an appliance, yep, but not not everybody can to
deliver it. So after it gets delivered, that's what we have,
this customer service.

Speaker 4 (12:31):
So in a nutshell, Gerhard doesn't sell applients as.

Speaker 1 (12:34):
We sell customer service.

Speaker 6 (12:35):
I like that We've been here for eighty years third generation.
Fourth generation is absolutely doing a tremendous job. The fifth
generation we're still working on. That's gonna that's gonna be
a little bit.

Speaker 1 (12:47):
You're setting them up nicely though.

Speaker 4 (12:48):
The fifth generation is here.

Speaker 6 (12:51):
Uh the thing you mentioned things about price, So we
have computers. Our computers are looking at all of our competitors.
I don't want to name them, but sure my computer
looks at five different box stores and competition, and we
adjust our price every fifteen minutes according.

Speaker 1 (13:07):
To what get that out of here? Okay?

Speaker 6 (13:10):
And that way, when you walk into a store, you're
going to see a price that's going to be lower
than you're going to see on the internet, unless it's
a scratching den or some store down Philadelphia or off
the truck. But time you're going to walk in my store,
you're going to see a price that's lower than everywhere else.

Speaker 4 (13:27):
We're not shy about it.

Speaker 6 (13:28):
Almost everything in our store has a price on it
that has the dimensions on it to plenty of it.
So if you look at it and you go on
your phone, you're going to say that we're the best
price out there.

Speaker 1 (13:38):
Amazing.

Speaker 2 (13:39):
Gerhartsplients dot COM's where you can find Gearhart's all of
their showrooms and as I said, brand new one here
in Phoenixville. Love the fair thought. I love what you
guys have done with this. Of course like the duds,
the stripes that you got going on, but something for
everybody here, and of course rolling out the red carpet
with the food and the drinks, getting all the vendors

(14:00):
here too to talk a little bit more about their
product and depth.

Speaker 1 (14:03):
Very nice work today.

Speaker 6 (14:04):
Well, thank you very much for that. So I owe
that to my marketing team. They do a tremendous job
of marketing. There's sixty two billboards out there on both sides,
like every forty seconds, we're up and down the turnpike,
so they drive customers into the store, and once they
get into the store, we're able to sell them.

Speaker 4 (14:23):
It's just a great thing to be part of a family.

Speaker 1 (14:26):
Business as well. Yeah, absolutely when it's success.

Speaker 2 (14:29):
It's not easy to be successful, as Garrethart's has been
all these years, but I can imagine it's a lot
of fun obviously being a part of this.

Speaker 1 (14:35):
Talk to me about why Phoenixville. How'd you guys end
up here?

Speaker 6 (14:40):
We had seven locations and we really just wanted to
go a little bit further out from the Malvern store,
a little bit further north. So this store became a
great location. It's in a shopping center. Next to us
is a hardware store, there's a supermarket, a liquor store.

Speaker 1 (14:58):
Yeah.

Speaker 6 (14:58):
So there's great traff that comes in and out of
here a lot like some of our other locations. Sure,
and then the King of Russia store just just part
of the deal. But that's on a very busy street.
And when you go to the King of Rush store,
up and down there's whiting places, there's lumber places, there's
kitchen in bath places, marble places. The King of Rush

(15:22):
as much as it's on a busy road, it's kind.

Speaker 4 (15:24):
Of like a one stop shop.

Speaker 1 (15:25):
Yep.

Speaker 6 (15:26):
You can drive up and down within five minutes and
find everything you need for your kitchen.

Speaker 2 (15:30):
Yeah, I'm right. I look at Concha Hocken, yep. So
I drive that road often and it's always busy. Let's
put it that way.

Speaker 4 (15:38):
See the traffic's right there.

Speaker 6 (15:41):
So when we acquire store, we always look at traffic
and the amount of cars that go by, the amount
of parking spots that have at both of these places
that ended up well as far as traffic.

Speaker 1 (15:50):
It's fantastic again. Gerhart's appliance dot com is where you can.

Speaker 2 (15:54):
Find all of the showrooms across the Great Delaware Valley
and uh, once again, nobody does it better. You just
heard from the gentleman himself talk to you about how
they come up with the pricing. All the best products
here over in that back part. I mean that's those
that's the eye openers back there. When I was looking
over there with the with the brand new stoves and

(16:15):
like the custom kitchens where you can get it all
changed up to tailor made to the colors that you want.

Speaker 1 (16:20):
I mean, these guys were selling me. I called my wife,
I'm like, I think we need a new kitchen.

Speaker 4 (16:25):
It's not your typical showroom.

Speaker 1 (16:26):
Yeah. I like that. Yeah that's good. That's good. Well,
I'll tell you what I know. You're very busy today.

Speaker 2 (16:32):
Can't thank you enough for stopping by and giving us
a couple of minutes here on of course Fox Sports
Radio Philadelphia. iHeartRadio, but continued success and I will definitely
see you at the.

Speaker 1 (16:41):
King of Prussia showroom. Looking forward to that one. But
this is unbelievable, a great job. You're welcome, awesome stuff.

Speaker 4 (16:47):
So our customers make us successful.

Speaker 1 (16:52):
Great customers.

Speaker 2 (16:52):
I mean, look, if you've been doing it that long,
you know there's definitely proof behind that.

Speaker 1 (16:57):
Right.

Speaker 2 (16:58):
That's great. All right, that's great. Hey, thank you very much.
You want to continued success once again. Jerry Gerharts joining
us once again live from the Phoenixville.

Speaker 1 (17:08):
Showroom, brand new Phoenixville Showroom here for Gerharts Applients. These
guys are the best.

Speaker 2 (17:14):
Hey, Sean Brace here. Now, when you shop local, you're
not just making a purchase, You're making a difference. Gerhart's Appliances.
They've been serving our community for over eighty years, supporting

over eighty plus years helping out the folks of the
Delaware Valley and beyond and Shamusy'll tell you what, man,
there's no surprise why you guys have been around as

(17:59):
long as Gerharts has been because the customer service a
be the great people.

Speaker 1 (18:05):
Hey one second, we're live right now. You've got to
sight over here. That's all right, you're all right holding
He's good. That's a future start, right.

Speaker 5 (18:11):
I can't get enoughing.

Speaker 1 (18:12):
Yeah, see, that's it. That's how it works, all right.
Speaking of people that like to ramble, that's me.

Speaker 2 (18:17):
I apologize. So handing it over to Shames. What a
great day, great celebration, and of course cutting the ribbon.
It's got to be a big day for you.

Speaker 5 (18:23):
It's a big day for us. We've done a couple
of these now. But yeah, we opened Phoenixville. We opened
Phoenixville two months ago, really, but today's the grand opening,
grand opening ceremony. We've got another one coming up to
kop there are two newest showrooms. Oh yeah, that brings
us up.

Speaker 2 (18:36):
Eight wow, eight total? Yeah, all right, great to hear.
And of course I can't wait. I'm a little partial.
I kind of let that out earlier. The King of
Prussia ones right down the road. You can't wait for that.

Speaker 7 (18:46):
One.

Speaker 1 (18:47):
Yep.

Speaker 5 (18:47):
Yeah, so big expansion for us, right, this was very sudden.
It's been a whirlwind for us. Of course, this event
itself has also been a bit of a whirlwind for us.
Appreciate having you guys here though.

Speaker 1 (18:57):
Oh yeah, man to be a part of it. Well,
thank you very much for the invitation number one, number two.

Speaker 2 (19:02):
It's just great to be out and about and of
course dealing with people that are having a great time.
You guys have a band back there that was killing it.
They're still rocking out right now. Great food and the
giveaways you kidding me, the raffle at the end, so
people walked home with unbelievable prizes.

Speaker 5 (19:18):
Yeah, I mean, I'll tell you what like. The place
you want to be for giveaways an appliance company between
TV small applians is countertop, you know what I mean.
But yeah, it was awesome. You can get your own
here in the show room.

Speaker 2 (19:29):
So Gerhart's Appliance dot Com for the people out there
to find a showroom near you.

Speaker 1 (19:34):
That's one.

Speaker 2 (19:35):
You know.

Speaker 1 (19:35):
We were talking to Jerry correct, Gerald correct, and he was.

Speaker 2 (19:38):
Saying, you know, the difference what makes Gerhart's go is
the customers. I'm sure that that's kind of a tagline,
but how important. Of course, at the end of the day,
they're the people that come here. They're the ones that
write the checks, that buy the products. But to get
them to come back, it's so important and it's got
to be so difficult, But that's where customer service comes int.

Speaker 1 (20:00):
Right.

Speaker 5 (20:00):
Well, she's heard me say this already, but client experience
truly is the most important thing for us here. It's
something that separates us from big box especially right Like
you know, you go to a big box store, no
offense to them, but the same person that's selling paint
and Aisle seven is selling your kitchen, you know what
I mean.

Speaker 1 (20:18):
And we.

Speaker 5 (20:20):
Our team here, they're ap clients experts. That's what we
focus on, right. So you can come in here having
done all the homework in the world or none of it,
know nothing at all about appliances. We'll help you out
either way. We'll walk you through the whole process and
we'll have fun doing it. And the showroom is something
we pride ourselves in, state of the art, real luxury displays.
We just put a sub zero display in here, the

(20:40):
sub zero Wolf. We've got Monogram blue Star. Also the
core products really everything you need. But again, it all
starts with the client experience, both in the showroom and
then after delivery as well. And to that point too,
we have our own service company, so it's truly from
front to end, something that we pride ourselves in and
we can help out.

Speaker 4 (21:00):
With, you know.

Speaker 1 (21:00):
And Jerry joined us earlier.

Speaker 2 (21:02):
He kind of let us in on the pricing point
on how you guys developed that and come up with it.

Speaker 1 (21:07):
He said to us that.

Speaker 2 (21:09):
You guys are on the money when it comes to
the price point. That literally every fifteen minutes it updates
and it will tell you what certain people are charging
at certain locations, and you guys are gonna top or
not top that, but you guys are gonna come under
that number. I forget what the correct terminology would be,
but you're gonna have a better price.

Speaker 1 (21:25):
So look, at the end of the day, you're gonna
get the.

Speaker 2 (21:28):
Best customer service, beautiful, brand new showroom no matter where
you're at, state of the art to choose from.

Speaker 1 (21:34):
And then, oh, by the way, the best price. Why
would people shop anywhere else.

Speaker 5 (21:38):
That's what we're saying. And again, I mean so at
that point, that's it, and that's a big thing, right
is that? Like when you compare us to big box store,
we talk about client experience, but I think a lot
of people are under the impression that you shop local,
you sacrifice price a little bit. That's really not the case.
Like you just said, our pricing normally comes in under
the competitors to begin with, but we price match.

Speaker 2 (21:57):
When and where we have to excellent stuff. This was
an incredible day to be a part of. Like I said,
thank you very much for the opportunity to be broadcasting
out here.

Speaker 1 (22:06):
Jam and Jesse joining me, that's always fun.

Speaker 3 (22:08):
Yeah, dude, he threw one hell of a little rager here.

Speaker 2 (22:11):
Now he joined me. Shamus joined me in studio a
couple of weeks ago. I'm not sure if he made
the car wash and made it down your way next time,
next time, full car wash experience. Let's go with that
being said. He's a big time Philadelphia Union supporter.

Speaker 1 (22:26):
Yeah, big union guy here.

Speaker 5 (22:29):
And the company is also a union supporter. I don't
know if I just stole your there.

Speaker 1 (22:32):
No, you know what. You guys gave away two tickets,
that's right.

Speaker 2 (22:36):
Please tell us about the sponsorship that you guys just
started this year, correct.

Speaker 5 (22:39):
Yeah, so this is our first season with the Philadelphia Union.
So yeah, so it's Austin Warpool's to joint venture. So
you'll see our signing and Warpool signing down at the
stadium on you know, Billboard's email blast for the game,
et cetera. As a huge soccer guy, I was especially
proud to be on that venture.

Speaker 1 (22:55):
That's awesome.

Speaker 5 (22:55):
Haven't haven't gotten to use the tickets yet myself, really,
but we will. But you'll see me down there at
the games either way. Uh yeah, Okay, so I lied,
So we were down there for that.

Speaker 4 (23:09):
We did it.

Speaker 5 (23:10):
Yeah, we did have a sweet night down there.

Speaker 1 (23:12):
That was great.

Speaker 5 (23:12):
The Union, great hosts, but that's my sport. Uh. We
We have a Costa team around here called dm A
Young Boys.

Speaker 1 (23:17):
I just had to.

Speaker 5 (23:18):
Shout that out.

Speaker 2 (23:18):
Yeah.

Speaker 5 (23:19):
I took a lot of stick for that. Last time
I was on and I didn't mention that. I was
literally talking about the league. Everybody was listening and they
were just like, you missed your chance.

Speaker 1 (23:28):
Yeah, man, show some love to this team squad.

Speaker 5 (23:30):
Cost A team. We were in the final at the
Union Stadium last season. Not a big gal, no big
but it's not about that. Uh, super proud to be
sponsors with them, up and coming team, up and coming
sport in the country, and we got the world couple
look forward to next Yeah about that should be some
tailwinds there.

Speaker 2 (23:46):
But I know by the way we're talking about the
first place phill w Union to put that out there,
first place on top kick a button, taking names, and
they do have a home game coming up Saturday night,
taking on Charlotte there. So get on out there and
of course support the philadelph Union. And while you're there,
it makes you look for the banners and the rotating ads.
They'll be flashing Gerhart slash wirlpool man.

Speaker 1 (24:07):
Pretty cool.

Speaker 5 (24:07):
I'll be there. I'll see you there.

Speaker 2 (24:08):
Are you gonna be there on Saturday night? Awesome to hear?
All right quickly on this one, Phillies. Now we were
yelling about this earlier. I got a question for you,
and this is like a big general question. Are you
one of these people that like to freak out after
they lose fire everybody five straight? Or were you panicking
last week when they lost five straight? Are we still panicking?
Where we at right now?

Speaker 5 (24:29):
Well, right now, in this very moment, I'm trying to
decide if I'm gonna be honest with you or not.
I'm not the biggest baseball guys.

Speaker 1 (24:34):
Okay, but no, but I am.

Speaker 5 (24:36):
But I am a Philadelphia sports guy. I think it's
thin and so so you know, I am not one
of those guys that is such a typical trade of Philadelphia.

Speaker 1 (24:44):
You have friends that are those people have plenty of friends.

Speaker 5 (24:47):
Yes, And it's really hard to listen to him because
you know, after five games, which in baseball is five
days correct, less than a week. Yeah, it's fire everybody.
It's like, it just doesn't work like that. It's it's
very much like a company. You know, you really don't
want high turn. You want to trust people in charge,
you know what I mean, And you want to trust
him to see if you're thinke of thins.

Speaker 1 (25:04):
Yeah, he's smart, man.

Speaker 5 (25:05):
This is what They're not just all kinds here.

Speaker 1 (25:09):
They're not just putting me in, you know, people like
me in here to run the show. Come on, man,
they gotta have some brains.

Speaker 2 (25:13):
Let's go, all right, So Seamus, once again, Gerhart's rolling
out the red carpet, cutting the red tape. Here, ribbon
came down. Congratulations on the great success that was today.
Of course, brand new showroom. We got Joe gonna be
joining us again.

Speaker 1 (25:28):
How about this.

Speaker 2 (25:29):
Let's get back up here. It's a true Gerhart show
right now. Now here's a funny story. So he joined me.
We talked about the showroom, we talked about everything that's happening,
quick little conversation. Next thing you know, he gets up
and I see his great belt. It's shrewest belt that
he bought at the Philadelphia Cricket Club for the Truest Championship.

Speaker 1 (25:50):
That was just there. And then I come to find
out that he played at the Cricket Club. Are you
kidding me?

Speaker 4 (25:55):
I did not buy this. They gave it. They gave
it to me for shooting a ninety at that track.

Speaker 1 (26:03):
Yes, sir, wow, congratulations on that number. What do you
normally shoot? Let me ask you? That is that? Okay?
I asked, I don't know. I'm a sixteen handicap okay,
but playing to be a sixteenth?

Speaker 6 (26:17):
Yeah. Playing from the pro tips was pretty interesting. And
to have all the pins same placement as they did
on Sunday afternoon, and the cut they had on the
the pin sticks itself. It's typically down the corner edch
was only up the sixteenth. Wow, so a lot of
balls would just come in and just roll around and
take off.

Speaker 1 (26:36):
Did you make it out there at all? Are you
a golfer? Seamus?

Speaker 5 (26:40):
No, that's the next ventures as I age out of
soccer and injury out of So did you make it to.

Speaker 1 (26:45):
The truest at all?

Speaker 5 (26:46):
Or no? No?

Speaker 1 (26:47):
Okay, it was really fun, great course to check that out.

Speaker 4 (26:51):
Yeah.

Speaker 6 (26:51):
See, soccer is a team sport, which I which I
can understand. Golf is like a get it together. Yeah,
and if you don't have it together, you're not going
to do it.

Speaker 1 (27:00):
It's going to be a long day.

Speaker 4 (27:01):
So when you're playing, if you play good, you get paid.

Speaker 1 (27:03):
Yeah.

Speaker 6 (27:04):
If you don't play well, you don't get paid. It's
it soccer you get paid, Baseball you get a million
dollars to show. If you play football you get ten
million dollars. And you can't catch a guy all year long.

Speaker 1 (27:16):
That's true.

Speaker 4 (27:17):
Don't get me started.

Speaker 1 (27:18):
Why do you guys get me started on sport?

Speaker 4 (27:21):
So let's go back to appliances.

Speaker 1 (27:24):
There's so much easier.

Speaker 2 (27:26):
I do want to say this as a man who
is just you know from Afar here is paying attention.
He seems like he's the life of the party, just saying,
just saying, it seems like he's the life of the party.

Speaker 5 (27:35):
He's the life of the party, even when there is
no party.

Speaker 1 (27:37):
I love it. Yeah, I love it. Data there's no
g in party.

Speaker 4 (27:42):
However, there's a why like that that was really really clever.

Speaker 2 (27:48):
Back back to appliances, though, what a party, What a
great day. Cutting the ribbon had to be a lot
of fun doing that. Number one, but number two, just
having everybody here underneath the roof and of course big
smiles in her face in the giveaways.

Speaker 1 (28:01):
Wow, unbelievable.

Speaker 6 (28:02):
The giveaways were good, but that's not really why we're here.
We were here to get people into the store, getting
familiarized for vendors in this area so they know exactly
what brands we have and what we can offer them.
So it was just a good client thing for vendors,

(28:24):
and it was marketing. So we had people here working
with flooring companies that found cabinet people, that cabinet people
found lighting people that found outdoor people that found grilled people.
We all just the idea is just to tie this
whole thing together.

Speaker 1 (28:41):
Came together in great fashion. As I said, A plus
across the board.

Speaker 2 (28:46):
I don't think it could have went better from my perspective,
and like I said, just smiles by everybody and learning
a little bit more about the brand.

Speaker 1 (28:54):
It's no surprise why you guys been around for eighty plus.

Speaker 6 (28:56):
Years and there's no surprise why you guys been around
as successful as you guys are.

Speaker 1 (29:02):
Thank you, Thank you, We appreciate that.

Speaker 4 (29:04):
I've you know, I've worked with you guys for several years.

Speaker 2 (29:08):
Mike Powers leading to charge for us, nobody better, nobody
better behind the scenes, he's our shamous at at iHeart,
that's what he is. Before you, gentlemen, get out of here.
Final thoughts those seamous, love to hear your thoughts. Putting
a bow on today and of course not trying to
look ahead. We got a summer in front of us,

(29:30):
but exciting stuff with the King of Prussia showroom as well.

Speaker 5 (29:33):
Yeah, hopefully we see guys back there in September.

Speaker 1 (29:35):
Yeah, it would be a lot of fun.

Speaker 4 (29:37):
Yeah.

Speaker 6 (29:38):
Any final thoughts there, Uh, we are good and then
I thank you again for being here and Seamus and
the team. Uh, it's amazing you guys just the best
in the business.

Speaker 2 (29:49):
Well, that is great to hear. Any final thoughts on
the US Open. Did you have anybody going in this one?

Speaker 1 (29:54):
I do.

Speaker 6 (29:55):
Unfortunately, some of the players that I had working today
just didn't work out really well. If you keep the
ball on the fairway like I do, you can score.
If you hit the ball on the rough, you're just
gonna have it, Especially out there, you're gonna have a
really bad day.

Speaker 2 (30:10):
JJ Spahn looks like he's going to finish. I would
imagine they're done out there, right. Yeah, he's gonna be
number one leader in the clubhouse, a leader after one
four under to start the party.

Speaker 1 (30:21):
Surprising. He set that mark early today.

Speaker 4 (30:23):
Yes, and that is good.

Speaker 6 (30:25):
So hopefully JJ stays in the fairway tomorrow because he
was in it today. I think he only had two
balls in the rough. Wow, through all eighteen. His putting
today was pretty good. His chipping was good overall. You know,
he deserves to be where he is today.

Speaker 2 (30:41):
Watch out for Ben Griffin. He's having a heck of
a season so far. How about Brooks kep goat two under.

Speaker 4 (30:48):
I like Brooks.

Speaker 6 (30:49):
He was one of my picks early on five majors, right,
five majors. I think his short game if he stays
in the fairway or the bunkers. He's going to be good.
But I think anyone who gets in the rough as
high as it is just gonna have a tough time
getting out of there. I would I think people should
aim for the bunkers once you get close to the grant.

Speaker 2 (31:11):
It's it is really remarkable how difficult they made that
course and all the details that went into it over
in the past few months and then some Just looking
at the leaderboard right now and not seeing Scottie up
there again, just having my first opportunity to see this.
Not sure what Scotty did today, but he is not
up there. We'll have to talk about that one tomorrow.
Of course, on a Friday, plenty to discuss. But gentlemen,

(31:33):
thank you very much. Again, it was a lot of
fun today. Anytime you want to come on the show
and talk golf, you let me know you come to
the studio.

Speaker 7 (31:40):
Yeah, man, let's go talk some soccer. Well the Gerharts.
I got a quick I got a quick glass thing
for you guys. I sold a golfer today. He had
two pairs of pants on.

Speaker 1 (31:50):
What does that mean? No, it was.

Speaker 6 (31:54):
It was absolutely crazy. So it was brooks cop actually
he was showed up. He's at the practice range. He's
got to bears pants on. As Caddy comes up to him, says, hey, Brooks,
what you got two beers pants on?

Speaker 1 (32:05):
Dude?

Speaker 4 (32:05):
He's like worstpern.

Speaker 1 (32:06):
He goes, yeah, I know, he says why. He says,
in case you'll get a whole one. And on a
high note, nice bang shame is someone to take the
mannequin home with me. Some a great night.

Speaker 2 (32:23):
Hey, thank you very much again, awesome job across the board.
Thank you very much to Garharts for having us out
here and continued success.

Speaker 1 (32:30):
And we'll see you in September.

Speaker 2 (32:31):
