God, damn. Jeremy Bernard, I'm a slant in Alabama gets
on the board.

First.
Speaker 1 (00:28):
Is that a family member, Shamanard, Jeremy Bernard.
Speaker 3 (00:33):
Giovanni Bernard is my first cousin, not Jeremy g.
Speaker 1 (00:37):
E R M I E Jeremy Bernard.
Speaker 3 (00:42):
Yeah, Giovanni came from the Italian side, but Edablie, Yeah, all.
Speaker 1 (00:45):
Right, Daily take it with you here we got Shamanard
and Sean Brace and then joining us ladies and gentlemen.
This man, he needs no introduction because when he walks
into a room, everybody just pauses what they're doing, the
look over. Who is that guy right there? His name
is Beef. Ryan Coyle joined in the Daily Ticket here
(01:07):
on a Tuesday. Great to have your board, Beef. How
you doing today, sir?
Speaker 2 (01:12):
I appreciate the introduction. I don't know how true that is,
but I'll take the compliments when I can get them.
Speaker 1 (01:19):
Oh, beef. Kill mkindness. You know what it's all about.
Kill m makindness. All right, So here's the deal, man,
we got a lot to chew out here in the
world of college football. I'm just gonna keep it open.
Let's like cam Ward said, Let's keep it a buck.
Jane Franklin, gotta go, you gotta go, gotta go.
Speaker 2 (01:41):
You've been telling me forever that he's never gonna go.
You said that as long as he's as his little
ten and two, he'll he'll be there forever. You're switching
up your tone.
Speaker 1 (01:50):
It's not a matter of like, am I saying that
this is going to happen, but Penny, it should exactly
Penn state. They need to realize that he is not
the guy.
Speaker 2 (02:02):
He is the guy.
Speaker 1 (02:03):
Before the guy, I think is the correct way to
put it. And he has been there, and he's built
a hell of a program and he's a great recruiter.
But there's just something missing with James Franklin. And I
look Drew Aller I've never bought into and I think
you saw more of that that he played better at
the end. Sure, but I'm not a Drew Aller guy.
But enough of the excuses. He's built up a great program,
(02:26):
but it's never going to be better than Ohio State.
It's never going to be better than Michigan, it's never
going to be better than Oregon. It's not going to
be Georgia or Alabama in a national championship game. I
just feel like he's going to continue to fall short.
So Penn State it would be in their best interest
to start looking around and saying, James, thank you, but
it's just time for a fresh approach and there's no
(02:48):
harm in that.
Speaker 2 (02:50):
Would you consider that kind of like Andy Reid with
the Eagle situation, where it's just like and.
Speaker 1 (02:57):
Then look what happened, Doug Peterson. Doug Peterson of all
people won a Super Bowl, Doug Freakin Peterson.
Speaker 2 (03:04):
If Penn State comes open, do you think that's automatically
the number one job out there? Because I feel funding
with the conference and then with the patients as well
that they've shown James Franklin, I feel like that has
to be a super attractive job, not just for anyone,
but for like some of these potential top coaches, whether
it's an SEC coach or another big tank coach, to
(03:25):
kind of make that move and leave They're already really
good program to at Penn State.
Speaker 1 (03:29):
No doubt in my mind was that. I look at
what Penn State is college football, right, Like, don't confuse anything.
They got some other sports up there. They're doing great wrestling, hockey,
women's volleyball. But we were just there. It's in the
middle of nowhere. It is a college town, true and true,
and all eyes are on the football team. Yes, that
(03:54):
is an unbelievable opportunity, one of the best in the
country bar none. If it does pop, and I think
it should if if he doesn't get to the properce
Land this year, which is still a possibility.
Speaker 2 (04:06):
But you're like looking through the top twenty five, Like
Kirby's not leaving Georgia, the Boar wouldn't leave Alabama, Stark's
not leaving Texas, Freeman's not leaving Notre Dame. Where else
do you want to go? Brian Day's not leaving Ohio State,
crist of Ball's not leaving Miami, Elco's not leaving A
and M. Like, who are you really getting? Maybe like
Gillingham from Arizona State, we want to go Stignetti within
(04:30):
the conference? Yeah, would he want to do that?
Speaker 1 (04:32):
Yeah?
Speaker 2 (04:32):
Brian Kelly.
Speaker 1 (04:33):
Does he go back, No, don't do that, Go get
siggs Man. All he does is win. Google him.
Speaker 2 (04:39):
You think you think he would do it. He is.
He did start his career coaching too at iup UI,
so he does know kind of that the middle of
Pennsylvania type of area as well. I just think it's
a situation where Penn State I feel like it's comfortable.
Obviously there's angst, there's anxiousness within the fan base probably
you know within Franklin even said it the other night.
Now he's like not a narrative that like we have
(05:02):
struggled in the big games, that it's factual, Like, ye,
you can look at it and that's the God's honest truth.
But like, who are you going to go get that?
You'd be confidently saying we'll have you at ten and
two every year. That's I'm just playing devil. I know.
I agree as well, where they could make this next leap,
make a next jump and bring in someone else to
(05:22):
try and switch it up, because this is like the
insanity definition thing doing the same thing over and over
and get and getting the same result. But like you
got to look at it from the Penn State view
of the Penn State Athletic Department, where they're like, all right,
we're still selling out every game, one hundred and seven thousand,
We're still going ten and two. We're probably going to
go to the playoff regardless this year. You know, maybe
(05:42):
this kind of the program that we are at this point.
Speaker 1 (05:45):
They could lose the Indiana, they could lose the Ohio State.
That's three losses. They ain't getting in the playoffs.
Speaker 2 (05:49):
At that's in case they could.
Speaker 1 (05:52):
I would just say this every time and shout I'll
let you go. Every time there is a coach that
has been at one location for a number of years,
five six, eight years, extended period, the same talking points
are recycled. Oh the grass isn't always greener, be careful
what you wish for. And then Doug Peterson replaces Andy Reid,
(06:13):
and then you move on to Nick Sirianni out of nowhere,
and you get back to another so you get back
to two more Super Bowls, like there's always another guy,
and I just think it's it's it's okay to say
that what James has built has been incredible, but it's
not good enough. We need to raise it up. And
he's the guy before the guy.
Speaker 4 (06:30):
Well, and I had this take with Sam Ostry when
speaking on Monday, which I wanted to hear your guys
thoughts on because it makes some geographical sense as well.
Is Penn State the Pittsburgh Steelers of college football. They
just win exactly the games they're supposed to. They're never
a legitimate threat, and their coach has been there forever
sort of in the same kind of loop here.
Speaker 1 (06:50):
It's sure.
Speaker 3 (06:50):
I think that's the take for me.
Speaker 1 (06:52):
Yeah, I don't argue it, don't hate it. It's in
the middle of nowhere. Well, Pittsburgh's different but still kind
of out there. Yeah, look, I think it's a good
compared there some beef your thoughts on that, Yeah, I could.
Speaker 2 (07:03):
See the for sure. I just think it's so much
harder to compare NFL to college just because it's ten
and two to the nine to eight pretty much. It's
like there's so many more games in the NFL on
that side of the ball. But I definitely see what
you're saying, just kind of I feel like the Steelers
are more kind of stuck in like mediocrity than like
Penn State's still not elite, but still like very good
(07:25):
and up there at least where where you're like, Okay,
maybe they actually have a shot. I never really view
the Steelers kind of as that legit contenderant we've got.
Speaker 1 (07:32):
Ryan Beef Coyle talks to college football. Do you want
to update the Cubbies and Padres? It's now three to
one Cubs as they just scored in a sack fly
in the bottom of the eighth inning free one Cubbies
taking on the Padres. Will keep you up to date.
What's happening there? Socks and Yankees coming up here at
six oh eight. First pitch. Love the Yankees. Let's keep
it moving. Stick with some college ball. Beef. Georgia and
(07:56):
Alabama twenty four to twenty one final score. Bama beats
Georgia in Athens. Kirby Smart can't find a way to
beat Alabama. That's another factual stack there. Your big takeaway
from that game was what though opened ended here.
Speaker 2 (08:12):
I think Alabama's just ability to adapt over these last
three weeks. You know, going into that Florida State game,
I think a lot of people expected them to roll
in that one. Obviously, the shoes on the other foot
if Florida State took care of business in that one.
I think Alabama walked out of that. Maybe that was
the best thing to happen to them, because I think
last year the biggest thing was they weren't ready for
(08:33):
those type of opponents like the Vanderbilt And then we
see a Week one against Florida State. Then obviously they
take care of business these last two weeks, but then
they get to buy and then they go to Georgia
and win, and Georgia hadn't lost at home since twenty sixteen.
Was listening to some stuff today. Alabama's kind of commitment
to the run was the big difference maker in that one,
because they ran the ball thirty eight times for only
(08:53):
one hundred and seventeen yards but three point one yards
per terry. But if you look at all those success
in the passing game, it came off of play action
passes from Tyson. He's looked a lot better since that
Week one game. That Week one game two, he was
running for his life. I think the Alabama offensive line
has definitely improved, and it's getting a little bit better
week after week. We know they have the talent and
the horses up there. It's just kind of getting getting
(09:14):
better each and every week. And coaches will tell you that,
but that's kind of the gods own is truth at
the end of the day. And it's just Georgia too,
where I think Georgia is the program, maybe out of most,
that has suffered from the nil in the transfer portal,
just because they had those five star studs kind of
waiting in the wings, they would know that, all right,
we'll have to wait one or two years, but then
we're gonna get our opportunity. Now the rosters is not
(09:36):
as deep and not as talented as it used to
be because those guys are going elsewhere getting money and
the opportunity to play right away. They don't really care
about kind of waiting there and developing at Georgia. Georgia,
I don't think I've really seen any major difference makers
on the defensive side of the ball, and that's been
their bread and butter under Kirby. So came out of
that one obviously very impressed with Alabama. Anytime you find
a way to win at a school that hasn't lost
(09:58):
a home game in nearly ten years as something super
positive to take away. But then you got to walk
away from that one feeling a little bit worried about
Georgia too, and kind of the identity of this program
and where it's going under Kirby Smart from what it
once was.
Speaker 1 (10:10):
It's crazy right now, boys, you look around the SEC
like you could make the case for a number of teams.
I don't want to pour dirt on Georgia. I don't.
I didn't want to pour dirt on Alabama after one loss.
I don't want to pour dirt on Oklahoma after losing
their quarterback. They got a nice little stretch where they're
winnable football games and he could come back at the
right time. Vandy's a big question mark. Missouri's undefeated at
(10:32):
this point in time, Old miss could potentially be the
best team in the country, could be The SEC is
up for grabs, Beef, what's your big tight when you
start to dive into the conference and how you believe
this is going to unfold over these next few weeks.
What do you have your eye on potential matchup? And
I guess Crystal ballet for me, what are you looking
(10:52):
at here a potential winner?
Speaker 2 (10:55):
It's funny because I don't even think you mentioned Texas
there as well. Yeah, and they haven't. I think they
would be the first team to admit it they haven't
played nearly close to what they believe they're ceiling is
and over these next kind of a couple of weeks,
I think that they had the potential to hit their
strike because they play at Florida, which I think right
now is dead program walking. Then they have the Red
River game with Oklahoma. I don't think John Mattier is
(11:18):
going to be ready for that one. If he does,
it might be a little bit of a rushed kind
of getting back and he might not be at one
hundred percent. Then you got at Kentucky, who's probably the
worst team in the SEC. Atmsissippi State, who has been
very impressive thus far. They just lost an overtime last
week kinnes See. But I think you got a couple
of winnable games here before you end your season with
Georgia Arkansas and Texas A and m SO Texas. I
(11:40):
think they have the opportunity maybe coming out of their buy,
maybe they figure out some stuff going on with Art.
That was obviously the team coming into the season that
was the favorite. Let's see what they can do. But
I think when you look at Alabama right now, in
that win, that was their toughest game left on their schedule.
I think going forward that you know they played Vandy,
this is that a letdown spot? I don't think so,
(12:02):
because if they just have that game circle from last
year at Maszoom, Azu's been off to a good start.
But who have they really beat. I'm not taking too
much stock into them. They get Tennessee at home this year,
they have some very uh. I think more of the
they're tougher games are at home, and I think going
anytime you go to Georgia, that's as impressive as a
win as you can get. So I'm definitely buying more
stock in Alabama right now. But like you said, Brace,
(12:24):
it's wide open. I think, sitting here today on what
is it, September thirtieth, we're already a month into the season.
It hurts to even say that out loud, but you
can still make a legitimate argument here for five to
six teams to win the SEC, which is pretty awesome.
How open it is, it's gonna be a fun ride
down the stretch.
Speaker 1 (12:41):
Not buying the letdown spot, he says, Sean Minard ten
and a half won too many points for you.
Speaker 2 (12:49):
I think I think it is just because it's gonna
be too. That game is two circled, I think on
the calendar like that one's highlighted in a sharpy whatever
you want to say there. I don't think they're gonna
let Vanderbilt coming there again. If they do, Diego Pavia,
we got to kind of go in and study his
his genetics or whatever whatever witchcraft spells he has up
his sleeve to be able to beat Alabama twice. But
(13:12):
I think that one is a major point of emphasis,
and they're gonna be ready for that one and not
let Vanderbilt sneak up on them again.
Speaker 1 (13:18):
Ten and a half. I think I'm buying. I'm taking
the cheese boys, I'm taking Vandy. I'm all vandied up.
Speaker 2 (13:23):
I'm with you.
Speaker 3 (13:24):
Diego Pavi, Diego Pavia.
Speaker 1 (13:27):
Let's go.
Speaker 2 (13:28):
That one kind of reminds me of the It kind
of has reminded me right now of that Indiana Illinois
forever where I feel like everyone's gonna be like, oh,
that's way too many. We're gonna take the dog, and yeah,
the whole team takes care of business in that one.
Speaker 1 (13:42):
A lot of good games this weekend that's not being discussed,
and one of them for my money needs happens to
be Sam Austry's Terps catching six and a half at
home against Washington. Now, we watched Washington and Ohio State
play and it was a decent game, I think, aided
by the fact that Washington has a great home field.
That's an awesome spot. Well, who are they to give
(14:03):
six and a half to a dangerous Maryland team. I'm
kind of looking at the Terps yet again as an
underdog that everybody needs to have actionean or maybe is
this the time that this is just you know, people
are cashing that ticket one too many times and this
is a husky play beef.
Speaker 2 (14:17):
Yeah, I'm I'm right there with you. I agree with
Washington having to fly. Keep in mind all the way
across the country. Now, after just playing the number one
team in the country. You got to imagine Washington's not
really coming out of that one feeling the most fresh.
I think Maryland might be coming off of bye as well. Yeah,
they eat Wisconsin in twenty seven ten two weeks ago
(14:38):
coming off a bye, So this is arrested team. You
got Washington flying all the way across the country after
playing the number one team in the country. That's a
tough spot for them to kind of get back up
off the mat. So I'm right there with you Maryland too.
They shout out to them, they've been a surprise as far.
Haven't you exactly beat the best teams, But they've taken
care of business sitting there at four and o, and
you got Washington, you got Nebraska, who never know what
(15:00):
team's gonna show up, and then you go to UCLA.
There's a legit chance I think right here that damn
Austri's Turps actually started out the season potentially seven to
zero before they head into the Indiana game, and that
would easily clear their win total. I want to say
that wins to was probably four and a half.
Speaker 1 (15:14):
Fired up, all right, another game from the card here
on Saturday that everybody should be talking about. And it's
unfortunate that we ended up losing on Friday with Florida
State at Virginia. But of course Miami and Florida State.
Just great to have these two teams back, you know,
in the national perspective, in a national lens, if Miami's
(15:36):
a four and a half point road, a favorite game
being played in Tallahassee dose last week's lost versus Virginia
change your mind with anything when it comes to this. Seamon. Oh,
by the way, I'm not one of these guys that
like to bring up our bad takes or anything beef.
But you were about as anti Miami as somebody could
potentially be possibly be righting into the season. I think
(15:58):
you said disast and they're perfect right now. Carson Beeck
looks the real deal. That defense is incredible. What is
your read on this game? And like, look, you know
we all have bad days, so you know, bad claims
as far as you know trying to predict the future,
Do you think Miami has more of a championship field
to them or you're still not buying what they're selling.
Speaker 2 (16:21):
Yeah, No, definitely eating my Miami words as of right now.
But when you look at kind of historically under Chris
the ball, they'll start out well, you look at what
they did at the beginning of the season last year,
and then kind of down the stretch where they lose
a couple of games that they're not supposed to im
It's still like, all right, Notre Dame, that was an
impressive win. But South Florida, okay, group of five team,
(16:42):
they were getting a little too much hype. I think
coming into it after a couple of big wins, Florida
they've looked absolutely terrible and you can also contribute that
to Miami success. But you know this is this is
probably the game that will tell me the most about them,
especially with not going to say a desperate Florida State team,
but Florida State team that if they want to win
the ACC or they want to pete for to for
at least at birth in the ACC title game, it's
(17:03):
a must win game for them. So after coming off
that Virginia loss, which was a clear look ahead spot
for them, then when Miami has come into town this week,
it's a it's a huge opportunity for Florida State to
get back off up off the map. But you said it,
two brace. The Miami defenses look great. Ruben Bain has
been arguably, if not the best defensive player football thus far.
(17:23):
I think I like Miami in the spot to cover
this number. That was a really that's gonna be a
really tough loss thing for Florida State to overcome. But
I'm still not fully bought in on Miami being a
national title team because the rest of their schedule it's Louisville, Stanford, SMU, Syracuse, NCC,
Virginia Tech, Pittsburgh. This is as of right now, the
only ranked team that they have on their schedule the
(17:43):
rest of the way. So they could they could go
through the ACC and do really well win that conference,
going to feed in the regular season, but they wouldn't
have played anyone over that time. I'd still take in
some of these top teams in the Big Ten in
the SEC over this Miami squad.
Speaker 1 (17:57):
I think Penn State is gonna win by forty against Ucule.
Speaker 2 (18:02):
Yeah. I mean that's a game where you just break
it open.
Speaker 3 (18:05):
Yeah, you see, yet to have a lead on the season.
Speaker 1 (18:08):
They were the play last week. They were They were
the play last week against Northwestern. Too many points for Northwest.
Northwestern also fell behind fourteen nothing like Yeah, I know.
But what I would say is Penn State, this is
a game they go out there to Pasadena, just run
the football. UCA he wants no part of that, and
they need to win by forty. They're twenty six and
a half points spread. Do you see any spots as
(18:29):
far as this week here in college football beef that
is a look ahead, Maybe a team that could be
you know, a spot on the count or on the
schedule where it's you know they're not playing their best
is their potential wagering perspective that you were looking at.
As far as all things college football Week six here.
Speaker 2 (18:49):
Well plug me and maclay will be recording later tonight,
but I'm interested to ask him about this Iowa State
Cincinnati game. Iowa State depends what book people look at,
but like I'm looking on Yahoo Sport right now, I'm
not sure exactly who who they use. That's just staff
I look at for scores, but they have Cincinnati as
a one and a half point favorite here at home
in this one. ESPN earlier I think at Iowa State
(19:10):
as a one and a half point favorite, so I
think that one. It's kind of dependent on what what
shop you're looking at, But I just don't understand why
i was State would be a dog in the situation
at all. Like Cincinnati three and one. They're coming off
a nice win over Kansas last week, but you know
they own wins over Bowling Green in Northwestern State. They
haven't really done much to impressed me. I don't really
think it's that creative a Cincinnati team, so I don't
(19:31):
think I was States really down anybody right now with injuries,
but that's one that has been popping off the page
to me, no doubt about it. I also really like,
if we're just talking about in general played for this week,
Georgia minus twenty and a half at home against Kentucky.
I can't imagine practice down there in Athens. It has
been much fun on this week, or it's going to
be much fun. And that's kind of a Kentucky program
(19:52):
that's dead in the water. They've just got absolutely destroyed
last week by South Carolina, who some people were I've
been up to. Kentucky is central upset in that one.
They lose that game by twenty two. I think Georgia
really puts it on him in that one and really
blows the doors off of Kentucky.
Speaker 1 (20:07):
Right That's definitely a game that I will be eyeing
up from Beef's mouth to my bookie's back pocket, which
is DraftKings. But are do you got anything for Beef
your college football?
Speaker 4 (20:19):
I was just going to say, I know we talked
about it from a Penn State angle pretty significantly. Oregon
deserves their flowers for that win there, and guy right
at the start of it is Dante more there, He's
now climbed to the Heisman favorite and plus seven fifty,
is this going to be the guy that wins the
trophy because at this stage of the game, I kind
of feel like he's the only guy that I've seen
sort of kind of sees the opportunity.
Speaker 2 (20:39):
Very well could be. And there are Organs in a
situation too where Penn State was on schedule at least
their toughest game. Now they got their by coming up,
and then they have the Indiana game, but that Indiana
games at home after that. No ranked teams as of
right now on the remainder of their schedule Rutgers, Wisconsin, Iowa, Minnesota,
USC in Washington. This could very well be an Oregon
team that runs the table and goes undefeated, just like
(21:01):
last year. And if they do that, Dante Morreles certainly
be in the mix. I don't know if his numbers
are exactly like as eye popping as maybe some of
these other guys might be, just because there's such a
well balanced roster. They can run the football. The defense
is a good unit as well. But you know, say
what you want to say if you go twelve to
zero in the regular season and you lead this team
to the number one seed, you're gonna be right there
(21:23):
in the conversation. But the Heisman Trophy odds are such
ever moving. Like we just saw two weeks ago, what
was it Mattier was a favorite, then he gets hurt.
Mendozo is a favorite. He has not that great of
a game against Iowa. I remember last year was Jaln
Milroe had the fantastic game against Georgia and they win
that one. They then they fall the next week against
Vanderbilt and he's completely out of the picture. It's such
an ever changing week, guys, And it's something where it's like,
(21:47):
do you really want to get involved in that market
or more so kind of take take your chance on
some of these teams that you have a little bit
more say and instead of a voter kind of potentially
changing and if that makes sense.
Speaker 1 (21:57):
Jeremiah smid ten to one, still available, holding steady.
Speaker 2 (22:02):
I don't see it for grabs.
Speaker 1 (22:05):
It's anybody's award at this point in time.
Speaker 2 (22:11):
I probably would take the quarterback, though, well just because
the quarterbacks is gonna be slinging the rock more.
Speaker 1 (22:16):
Are you saying you would take the quarterback Julian, Now,
what are here? I'm just saying, just saying, here's what
I'm saying. You ready, Carson Beck eleven to one.
Speaker 2 (22:31):
If Carson Beck wins the highes one, I'll probably just
have to retire.
Speaker 1 (22:36):
Miami schedule real quick. I just want to look at
this moving forward. They have something you just don't know
in the aces. I misster a CC just so you
guys know that beef actually gave me the crowd as
far as that is concerned. So if they beat Florida State,
then they have a bye week and then they have
Louisville at home. Stanford s m U. S m U
is a sneaky game, but I'll still take Miami there.
(22:56):
It's on the road QS NC State. Those are winnable games.
Vo Tech and Pitt. I think Miami care on the table.
Speaker 2 (23:04):
Man.
Speaker 1 (23:05):
That defense is nasty and Carson Beck's a damn good quarterback.
He's slinging it. Uh. This is a big matchup if
they cover. If they win against Florida State this weekend,
which I think they will watch out, Carson Beck could
very well be the front runner for the Heisman and
never relinkish.
Speaker 4 (23:22):
You're talking about Tommy castlanas there is, he's no walk
in the park.
Speaker 1 (23:25):
Sean Brace, Well, they had their opportunity in Virginia and
they failed.
Speaker 3 (23:28):
Yeah, that's fair.
Speaker 1 (23:29):
That all right. The final thoughts, as far as anything
is concerned college football, anything you want to get off
your chest, I would.
Speaker 2 (23:37):
Say, just to your Carson Beck point, cam Ward was
kind of in the same boat last year, right after
the same start. I think cam Ward was probably even
the favorite for the trophy at this time last season,
and then he was still putting off the numbers. But
down the stretch you start losing some of those games.
And obviously last year was a little bit different with
a running back and with Travis Punter in the mix
(23:58):
as well. But I would still say, let's let's hold
off on crowning Carson Beck, right yet, Carson Beck's probably
my justin Herbert that Sean Bernard. I'm not gonna I'm
not gonna give this guy his praise yet until he
figures it out down the stretch. So let's see him
kind of go and I prove it before I fully
eat my words. But he has had a credit to him,
(24:19):
a good start to the year, and the defense definitely
has been better than last year as well. I wish
they had this defense last year with cam Moore because
it was my national play team. Man, they struggled down
the stretch of that defense. That just caught up to him.
Speaker 1 (24:30):
Who do you have as far as the last year's
Boise State. Who's going to be representing the G six
in the playoffs?
Speaker 2 (24:39):
I mean, as of today, you probably go with Tulane.
They have two wins over Power Power Conference teams, but
then they got blown out absolutely by by Old mess
a couple of weeks ago. But Ole Miss is looking
pretty pretty damn good themselves. Navy is gonna have a
chance to run the table. Really, Toledo comeing into this year, Yeah,
Memphiss have a chance. You're probably looking at a school
(25:01):
from the American this year, I would say. But when
he stay, let's not completely buried than that. They have
Notre Dame this week. If they find a way to
win that game, they're right yet back in that conversation,
but that's a I think that's almost a three touchdown
spat at this point.
Speaker 1 (25:12):
Yeah, it's a big ask. And man, they looked really
bad in that first game. What was that UCF or
us F one or the other us F. Yeah, that
was a bad game by boys, all right, Beef, great stuff, man,
look forward to talking all things college football. Look forward
to hearing you and McLay. McLay the hottest handicapper. Yeah,
in the country, bar none, Nick bleeping McLay. It's got
(25:35):
the receipts, no doubt about. There's nobody hotter than McLay
right now, nobody. That's the ladies. They'll tell you, all right,
we'll give my best to McLay. You can hype him up. Well,
you can hype him up, Beef. I mean he's on
your show. You guys are together, you there tandem. Hype
him up.
Speaker 2 (25:52):
Yeah, Well he's down he's downstairs right now. He's been
laying in bed watching baseball, claiming he was working all day.
Speaker 1 (25:57):
So it's good to be king. Football is king. They'll
be on your airwaves tomorrow. Nobody better. You're the best, Beef.
Enjoy the rest of your day. Will catch up, sir,
My man. There he is, once again, Ryan Beef Coil

What a great time. Shout out to our friends and
partners over at playfly Sports. Can't think those guys and
girls enough. But all in all, man Mark Fronte bounced
(26:40):
back in a big way. That kid David Abbott. Just
hand the ball off to him, Sean, It's all I
was telling coach. I told coach pregame, I said, just coach,
build off of what you had handed to the to
the young stud and allow him to work. And he
has done that, and then so we'll see what happens.
I think they got New Hampshire right.
Speaker 4 (26:58):
I haven't told us he wants to double his rushing
total from last year. He's got some work to catch
there still, so let's key feed him the round.
Speaker 1 (27:06):
He might be doubling the touchdowns that he had from
the year before, that's for sure. Yeah, VILLANOVN New Hampshire
can catch that game right here on the airwaves. Twelve
thirty pre game coverage leading into that will be Sean
Bernard for all Right eleven am Shan Bernard Live, all
