little bit of Southern charm in USas well. Well, yeah, give

from the booming metropolis of Gilbert,South Carolina, which which is population five
hundred are claimed the famous We havea peach festival and have more cows than

Carolina. Did about five years inAtlanta after college and five and a half
years in New York, but currentlyback in good old sc all right,

of Scranton, Pennsylvania. Our majorthing up there and Troop was a cowflop.
That was our big thing of theyear. So okay, yeah,

From your perspective, the guy whocreated this, bad boy? What's a
feature that you don't think gets enoughattention? What's something that people need to

I mean I think the goal ofcut has always been to bring friends
together in kind of a one stopshot where you can chat with your buddy,

app. I have to laugh whenI tell this. For the genesis of
this app was me and my buddysitting at the lunch table in high school
betting on who scores more points Kobeor Lebron that night. Right, And
then you get to you get tothe lunch table the next day and you're

like, all right, you wantme ten bucks? You know so,
and so it was me twenty andso therefore you know, okay, I'll
just pay you directly, YadA,YadA, YadA. Well I used to
tell that story, and one daymy friends finally said, they said,
listen, man, you got tostop making us look bad because you always
say say we never paid up.And so so I've changed it slightly,
but basically the whole gist of itis that everyone and their friend group has

a betting group, chat, likesto bet against each other, has a
fantasy football group. And cut reallywanted to take that and make it into
a fun, engaging, one stopshot platform, right, And so I
think the biggest thing for me isjust all the social features, right.
You know, I think that thatcould be in the fact that everyone has
a user profile. You can seeyour against them, you can see their

betting history. And then we alsohave things like group chats, right,
and so I know that you guyshave your own group chat on the cut
out, And our goal really isjust to kind of build this community,
right, because I think people inherentlylike to bet with and against their friends.
That's just how betting naturally flows.And you know, one of the
pieces of feedback we've gotten over theyears is that, hey man, look

I've lost a lot of money tothe DraftKings. I've lost a lot of
money FanDuel. It's just not fun. You know, at a certain point,
when you're kind of throwing your moneyaway to a corporation you know that
doesn't know who you are, it'sa bit frustrating, right, And so
I think people just like betting againsttheir friends and kind of keeping that money
in their front group. So Ithink for me and the social features are

really the you know, the differentiator, but also the thing that I like
the most about it. Yeah,I can't talk trash to those those sportsbooks.
You know, it's like playing onlinevideo games. I'm only playing against
computers because when I end up winning, it's what do I do? Do
I tall crap to my Xbox?No, I can tell crap to my
friends. That that's the way todo it. Yeah, I like that
exactly. We don't. We don'thave a casino, but you know,
I'm sure all of us have donethat, you know, late night roulette

spin, you know, want topunch a wall, right because you're like,
wait a minute, I'm arguing witha machine here, it's just you
know, it's just it's not thesame the same experience. So for us,
yeah, the social stuff that Ithink it begins and ends with with
the stuff for us excellent. Nowsim of course with a few of our
people. How does it work fromstate to state? And I know North

Carolina just legalized. I know Pennsylvaniawe can deposit. We're rocking and rolling

media attention, right and and forgood reason, right, but we think
that the non sports betting market isjust as big. I mean, you
know, think about things like politics. You got the twenty twenty four election
coming up, that's very polarizing.You have things like Oscars, award shows,
reality TV. The Bachelor just ended. Like people like to bet on

everything, and and so that isdefinitely where we can differentiate ourselves by offering
these you know, these these othermarkets, you know, whether that's pop
culture, entertainment or finance. Youknow, hey, I want to make

And then what we're also moving towardsand what we also can do are

I can't tell you how many howmany weddings I've been to where my

one day, maybe be able toget a ticket and get in there.

did I didn't even go, didn'teven go men's men's bracket. We're going

I watched three consecutive girls basketball games. I've never done that before. In
my life, never have done that. It was really good. Listen,

It gets a lot of black,you know, pure understandably. So
the South Carolina women this year,they played the best half of basketball of

men or women that I've ever seenin the first half in North Carolina this
weekend. And when you see goodbasketball, which I'm a massive basketball fan,
recently turned on a few NBA games, it's unwatchable. Taylor, It's
almost unwatchable. It's so much isolation, it's so much just one on one
not fun to watch, no defensewhatsoever. And I watched women's basket Caroline's

basketball team this weekend and it wasit was really pretty, really fun to
watch. So so yeah, that'swhat it takes, you know, me
watching women's basketball to get us throughto the national championship. I love it.

now that he signed with the Panthers. Yeah, how about that, I've

got uh yeah, Well, mymy buddy texted me earlier today as it
happened, and he said, Ithink now South Carolina has three or four
guys on that defense right now,so they're there truly are embracing the Carolina
aspect of the Panthers. But youknow, every again, not to go

cheap. It's blood in Honey one. Non't because I'm not going to Because

I don't. I am not goingto do any of these where the copyright
goes up, and whatever that lawis, you're able to start using these
these ips that were created, andpeople using him just in the most shock
value way that they can. Thatis cheap entertainment. That's cheap as hell.
There's no creativity there. It's created, it's creatively bankrupt. There's no

reason to watch that. There's nothere's no reason for me. I don't
care if people say it's good.It's still the The act of using this
as as shock value to me leadsto no creation. That's all it's doing.
It's well, it's not somebody seeingWinny the Pooh and actually going,
here's a creative way to use Winniethe Pooh. Instead, all this person

did was, you know what I'mgonna do with Winnie the Pooh. I'm
gonna make it a horror movie andI'm gonna have him kill people. Because
Winnie the Pooh is the opposite ofthat. In whatever space he's he's he's
a kid's character, he's very lovableWinny the Pooh with Andy. But instead,
now this person whoa, Let's makehim a killer. That's great.
That's that was your creative mindset whenyou looked at the Winnie the Pooh character.

He said, let's make him alet's make him a slashing murderer,
and that's gonna be our win.He the Pooh. That's creatively bank drum.
That's that's not creative at all whatsoever. And that's cheap. That's really
really cheap, lowest level entertainment thatI don't need to watch. I don't
need to go to theaters to watchthat, all right, it's John Jansen.

There are so many other good moviesthat actually have creative ideas, that
are actually there that you can watch. Watch Love Lies Bleeding. That is
creative, that's fun, that's interesting. But Winnie the Poo kills people.
