Welcome to your first companion episode of The Dark Side of
Light Work. I'm Wynn Thornley.
I'm happy to be able to offer a deeper look into the topics I've
already offered on my podcast. This episode we'll be exploring
a few of the prophecies that arerecorded within the Edgar Cayce
readings. Prophecies that have already
come true with one that has the potential to expand on what has

already been discovered. If you have not heard my
two-part exploration on Edgar Cayce yet, make sure to visit
those older episodes either before or after this companion
episode. So no need to wait any longer,
let's get right into it. The first prophecy I want to

share with you is Edgar Cayce's foresight on the stock market
crash of the fall of 1929. The first reading that gave
warning of an impending economicshift was recorded in the year
1925. The reading index number is
recorded AS2723-1. Now before I continue, I want to
(01:15):
share a little bit about the index numbers of Casey's
readings for a moment here, as Ididn't really get into that
within the first episodes that Irecorded.
You can reference any of Edgar Casey's readings as long as you
know the index number. As a reminder, there are over
14,000 Edgar Cayce readings recorded and filed in the
(01:37):
archives that were created by Casey's stenographer, Gladys
Davis Turner. She spent 24 years compiling and
organizing these archives for future generations.
In the case mentioned above, theindex number we have to work
with IS2723-1. The first set of digits
(01:58):
represents the individual or groups name who received the
reading. This was to maintain
confidentiality of Casey's clients.
The second number refers to which session this was for that
individual or group. So if this client were to come
in again for a reading, they would be assigned the same
reference number of 2723, but itwould be indicated that this was
(02:23):
the second reading with the second number being A-2.
It's a pretty simple yet effective way to keep client
records together and sorted. So this particular reading was
given to a young doctor, only the age of 26.
Within the reading, Casey statedthat his client would come into
(02:43):
a substantial amount of money. Casey warned his client to use
discretion and caring for his wealth due to quote adverse
forces that will come then in 1929 UN quote the second reading
that has been given value in theprediction of the stock market
crash was received by a New YorkStock broker in March of 1929.

This coming from the reading index number of 900-425 where it
was recorded that Casey stated quote.
We may expect a considerable break and bear market.
See this issue being between those of the reserves of nation
and of individuals and will cause unless another more stable

banking conditions come to the relief, a great disturbance in
financial circles. This warning has been given see
UN quote. Beginning in September of 1929,
the share prices on the New YorkStock Exchange began to collapse
with October 24th, 1929 known asBlack Thursday, being the day of

the largest sell off of shares in American history.
This event would be the spark for the Great Depression which
lasted until at least the 1930s.The next prophecy I would like
to share with you is Edgar Cayce's foresight on the next
pool shift to occur on Earth. This coming from what appears to
(04:14):
be a couple of philosophical readings, this first one from
August 11th, 1936. The reading index number is
826-8. The question Casey was asked
was, quote, what great change, or the beginning of what change,
if any, is to take place on Earth in the year 2000 to 2001
(04:37):
AD? End Quote.
Casey answered, quote when there's a shift of the poles or
a new cycle begins, UN quote. It seems this was a follow up
session referring back to an index reading of 826-1 where
(04:58):
Casey indicated that the pole shift would become apparent by
the time we reach the next century.
It is well known in these times that our Earth goes through
magnetic pole shifts every 200 to 300,000 years.
I also read in my research that we seem to be overdue for this
shift with the last pool shift being estimated to happen about
(05:20):
780,000 years ago. So what exactly does this all
mean and should we be worried? I will attempt to give you a
brief overview as I have attached some links for you to
explore this topic a little deeper in my show notes.
To put it simply, our North and South poles shift positions
(05:43):
regularly and over thousands of years.
If you were alive 800,000 years ago and had a modern day
compass, the North and South would read opposite of what it
reads today. From what I read in the NASA
article I provided for you in myshow notes, it takes thousands
of years for a complete shift totake place.

The magnetic North Pole has moved more than 1100 kilometers
since the early 19th century, averaging about 16 kilometers a
year. However, there has been some
dramatic movement recorded in the last 30 years in regards to
the magnetic North Pole. Recent recordings indicate
movement up to 64 kilometers a year, placing the magnetic North
(06:30):
Pole somewhere over Siberia. These days.
The fear around planetary pole shift is how it affects the
magnetic field that surrounds the Earth.
This magnetic field is quite expansive and it helps to
protect our planet from solar flares and corneal mass
projections from the Sun, basically solar radiation.

And when our poles are on the move, it is believed this can
weaken the magnetic field as thepoles pull and push on one
another. Doomsday propaganda would have
us believe that a dramatic pole shift will cause our magnetic
field to disappear altogether, which seems to be wildly over
exaggerated. From what I've read in the

studies of our last major pole shift 780,000 years ago, science
came up with no dramatic effectsto the animal or plant
populations. What we can expect is a natural
weakening of the magnetic field and the appearance of the Aurora
borealis in more southern parts of the world than normal, which
(07:34):
is something I believe we're already experiencing.
It might be beautiful to experience, but we must be
mindful that this could indicatesome extra solar radiation is
washing over the planet. NASA didn't seem too jazzed up
at all about the pole shifts, but I think it is worth keeping
tabs on the last prediction of Edgar Casey's that has already

come true. I wanted to share with you in
this episode involves Casey for seeing the use of blood to
diagnose disease. In a reading given in the year
1927 index #283-2, Casey states quote 4.
As it is seen, there is no condition existent in the body
(08:21):
that the reflection of the same may not be traced in the blood
supply. For not only does the
bloodstream carry the rebuildingforces to the body, it also
takes the used forces and eliminates same through the
proper channels in various portions of the system.
Hence we find red blood, white blood and lymph all carried in
(08:43):
the veins. These are only separated by the
very small portions that act as builders, strainers, destroyers
or resuscitating portions of thesystem.
See. Hence there is ever seen in the
bloodstream the reflection or evidences of that condition
being carried on in the physicalbody.

The day may yet arrive when one may take a drop of blood and
diagnose the condition of any physical body.
End Quote. At the time of this reading,
blood testing was a fairly new practice in modern medicine.
There was already test for bacterial infections like
tuberculosis, but it wasn't until the 1930s where blood

testing for syphilis and rubellabecame standard.
In our current time, we take forgranted the routine blood test
we are asked to do from our General Medical practitioner.
It surprised me to learn that testing for blood borne diseases
beginning with Hepatitis B did not become routine until the
(09:48):
1970s. Beginning in 1971, it became
mandatory to test for Hep B in order to protect the blood
supply being stored in blood banks.
The testing expanded into the 80s with the appearance of HIV
and AIDS. Today, blood is tested for a
variety of diseases and medical science has refined screening
(10:09):
for other vital minerals and multiple layers of blood health
like red blood cells, white blood cells, and plasma levels.
As an example for you, Edgar Cayce is also known for
predicting World War 2 and the life of the Essenes.

The reason I didn't really want to cover those in this episode
is for a really good reason actually.
They were not that unbelievable in my opinion.
As far as World War 2, the way the world was in great turmoil
after World War One, World War Two kind of seemed inevitable
and many psychics of the time predicted this.

So Casey was not alone in this foresight.
With the Essence, Casey could have had prior knowledge of them
due to his deep studies of religious texts.
If you have not heard of the religious group known as the
Essence, which I might be pronouncing wrong, and please
correct me if I am, let me give you the coolest notes.

The Essens were a Mystic Jewish sect that flourished from the
2nd century BC to the 1st century CE.
They were said to have large numbers at their height and
lived in many areas, but they'remost often connected to an area
once known as Roman Judea, and they were not really mentioned
in the Bible. It is said that the Essens were
(11:36):
very strict in their beliefs andrituals.
Striving to live a clean life free of sin.
They took on vows of poverty, celibacy and the absence of
earthly pleasures of all kinds. They are also known as the
people who wrote the now famous Dead Sea Scrolls.
These ancient scrolls are considered one of the oldest
(11:58):
documented forms of the Old Testament and also contain the
Essence Extended Library. They were found in the Guamran
Caves in 1947, two years after Edgar Cayce's death.
The Quamron Caves are located onthe north shores of the Dead
Sea. Carbon dating revealed that the
(12:18):
Dead Sea Scrolls dated back as far as the 3rd century BCE to
the 1st century CE, so this would align with the time frame
of when the essence were active and where they might have been
congregating as a community. And on a side note here it is
also said that Jesus of Nazarethmight have spent his missing
(12:41):
years living and learning from the Essen community.
Edgar Cayce mentioned the essence within 171 of his client
readings. Many were in the form of past
lives of his clients where greatdetail was offered by Casey.
With Edgar describing the Essenes in great detail.

Many sources regard this as a prophecy to the Dead Sea Scrolls
being discovered and the validity of the essence being
exposed. My thoughts return to the fact
that Edgar Cayce studied religions meticulously, and
though the Essenes are not spoken about in the Bible, the

Jewish historian Josephus wrote about them in the 1st century
and anyone willing to dive into religious studies as deeply as
Casey did would have been aware of this.
So though I believe Casey pickedup on past lives that included
the Essene community, I personally do not consider this
(13:42):
a prediction. To close this episode down, I
want to talk about one last areaof interest and predictions that
Edgar Cayce is famous for his insights on the mythical land of
Atlantis. Atlantis was a subject that
intrigued me as a kid and I haveread a lot about it.

I have watched all the shows andI'm always curious when there
are predictions as to where Atlantis can be found.
Many of Casey's life readings contain past lives lived in
Atlantis. I have a book called Edgar Cayce
on Atlantis that goes into greatdetail of these readings and his
predictions about when and wherethe remnants of Atlantis would
(14:28):
be found. I have also left you a link to
read more about this later. But Edgar Cayce once prophesized
the appearance of a great landmass that would appear in
around the 1960s. It would rise in the region of
the Bimini Islands located in the Bahamas.
Though this did not come to fruition, something else
(14:51):
intriguing was found, the BiminiRd.
The Bimini Rd. is an underwater rock formation that is close to
a kilometer long. Many archaeologists agree that
this seems to be a man made structure that could have been a
wall. It could have been a road, a
pier, or even a breakwater. It's made of sub rectangular
(15:13):
limestone blocks and has caused quite the buzz.
Though it has not been accepted as a direct connection to the
mythical Atlantis, it does call to question what ancient
civilization might be hidden beneath the waters off of
Bimini. Edgar Cayce's predictions of
Atlantis's existence, location, and demise have been studied by

many professionals in the field of archaeology.
Ancient Civilizations and treasure hunters.
Many have their theories on where Edgar was pointing them

to achieve fame and fortune. Quite the opposite really, and

Cayce's fascinating life. Though some considered him the
most accurate psychic of the last century and others a
charlatan, Edgar Cayce's life work continues to fascinate the
public. To me, he's a personal hero and
I like to believe he was a legitpsychic and healer.
There was nothing I found in my extensive research on Casey that

indicated he took advantage of others or used his talents only
to achieve fame and fortune. Quite the opposite really, and
that is what has me respecting the work he has done to further
the advancement of alternative medicine and the potential of
tapping into the Akashic Records.
He seems to do this work from anauthentic place of service and

for that I'm grateful. Thank you so much for popping by

my professional practice has found a new home.
I've taken the leap and opened abeautiful studio that now houses

all of my work. I call this new space the Sol
and Energy Studio which is located in Olds, AB.
In studio my focus is on all things woo woo and services
include mastery level holistic energetics, soul coaching and
education for the self guru and high level practitioner in the
spiritual arts. I will also be doing all the

work for the Dark Side of Light work in studio with two fresh
haunted field trips planned for 2026.

but I'm not playing with the kids over there too much yet.
