In January of 1982, Australian rugby star, Chris Dawson, told friends and family that his wife and mother of his two daughters, Lyn, had gone away for a few days because she needed some time to herself. Over the ensuing weeks, Chris told people that he would hear from Lyn on occasion, letting him know she was fine, and that she still needed some time, before the calls stopped altogether. Six weeks after Lyn was last seen, Chris finally reported his wife missing. However, the police don’t take Lyn’s disappearance seriously and she slowly becomes a forgotten cold case. While it seems as though he is a devastated husband shattered by his wife’s disappearance, the truth is, Chris is harboring a boatload of sinister secrets and it’s not until the Teacher’s Pet podcast exploring the case becomes a global sensation does Lyn finally get justice. ***Visitwww.thedarksideoflove.com for episode transcripts and sources.
