In this enlightening dialogue, I engage with Carolyn Ullrich, a multifaceted practitioner of spirituality, who shares her journey of self-discovery and the emergence of her innate abilities. Carolyn recounts her establishment of various spiritual fairs that serve as sanctuaries for individuals seeking healing and connection. We delve into the generational perspectives on spirituality, particularly how the millennial generation interacts with and embraces these practices. Additionally, we explore the significance of allowing children to express their intuitive gifts, emphasizing the importance of nurturing rather than stifling their natural inclinations.

(00:04):
Welcome to the dead life.
Here's world renowned mediumAlison dubois.
Today is part two of myinterview with Carolyn Ulrich.
She practices spirituality inmany forms.
She'll talk more today abouther story, how she first knew she
had abilities, how her familyfelt about her abilities, and the

(00:26):
millennial generationperspective of her craft.
Maybe, maybe we should sendyou to the Renaissance Festival consistently
for the entire time that it'sin town and you could be around those
people, which is, there's asimilar vibe to it.
It's not exactly the same, butthat might, that might make it.

(00:47):
So you're like, screw it, Iwant a turkey leg.
You know, you just starthaving a good time because you just
realize that you can do this.
You just have to acclimate to.
And when we stay away frompeople for extended periods of time,
we're not, we're no longeracclimated to that kind of energy.
And then we go out there andit overwhelms us.

(01:09):
So totally relate to that.
Tell us about your spiritualaffairs though.
That was my next question.
I'm curious.
Yeah, so I started them in theMidwest, So I'm based out of Kansas
City, Missouri for usuallylike eight months out of the year.
And then for the last fouryears, I've spent the other four
months in Scottsdale.
So I started them on theMissouri side of Kansas City, and

(01:30):
then I moved them to St.
Louis and then we have acouple in Kansas, we were up in Nebraska,
but I've dropped those.
So we just kind of bounce around.
But I started them basicallybecause I wanted a space of inclusion
for people.
And I was like, you know, I do this.
And I started to get more andmore friends that were in the field.
And I loved just going tofestivals and fairs and we didn't
really have any.

(01:51):
We had one and I just did a,you know, met people working affairs
that I want to do this.
And it started as a one dayevent and now it's expanded and you'll
walk in and you know, we haveanywhere from 25 different kinds
of readers, you know, different kinds of energy workers,
healers, all different kind ofmetaphysical spiritual vendors.
We do workshops that areincluded with a ticket.

(02:11):
I.
That's where I do.
I don't read at them, but I dogalleries, which is just really fun.
A lot of people in thecommunity forget that I even do readings
because they just see me asthis huge.
Because it's one of thebiggest fairs out there.
So they just see me as that person.
They're like, oh, you doreadings too?
And I'M like, yeah, that'sactually like my main gig.
But it's.
It's very much needed in theMidwest because we don't have a lot

(02:34):
of, you know, we don't have alot of resources just for, like,
grounding or like holistic wellness.
Like here you can just go to amountain or if you live on the ocean.
So we're not here.
Yeah.
And it's interesting.
You'll find the energeticdifferences between even Kansas City
and four hours across thestate in St.
Louis are very different.
And a lot of people that cometo our events, they have no experience

(02:57):
with anything spiritual.
But what it comes down to isevery person that's coming in there
is needing some form ofhealing or seeking some sort of answer.
And it's really important tome to have a lot of diversity among
the age and the gender and therace and just like all the different
things.
You know, I have people that are.
That are Christians that do work.
I have Wiccans, I have pagans.
And the whole idea is like, whoever you are, you can walk in

(03:19):
and find somebody or somethingthat you need to align to.
A lot of people just hang outthe whole day and they go to the
workshops for free the whole time.
They just talk to people.
I love to go to other people'sfairs because I just like.
I like to be around it andit's nice.
It makes you feel normal, youknow, like, it makes you feel normal
when you're like, oh, I justsaw an elf.
And your buddy's like, oh,yeah, there's a dragon.
And nobody questions that.

(03:40):
You're, like, saying all thisweird stuff.
You know, I found with peoplethat haven't been read before, it
does help if, if.
I mean, since you're doing afestival anyway, if you had like
a tent or an area where theycould do chakra clearings and alignments,
when they.
When they're able to dobreathing exercises and sort of visualization

(04:04):
techniques, it tends to openup something in them that flows better.
Like their energy flowsbetter, and they're able to receive
messages more easily andengage as being in being a part of
it.
I also, I don't know if youhave an area that does this, but
I was in Lilydale years ago.

(04:26):
Have you been to Lilydale?
Is that of a New York?
Yeah.
Outside of Buffalo, New York.
Okay.
It's an entire town of mediums.
Their homes look like pinkgingerbread houses.
They're all these bright color homes.
There's a lake and canoes, andit's actually really fun.
And they open up to the publicin the summer, but you have to be

(04:47):
a medium to actually live there.
And they've got 150-year-old,at least pet cemetery, and they have
a school for the children thatgrow up there.
And I got to teach some ofthose kids.
It'd be kind of cool if atyour fair you had like an area for
the children to sit in acircle with their pad of paper and

(05:08):
pencil and write them impressions.
They get connected to oneanother and practice pulling impressions.
Because I found that children, once they know what to do with the
energy, put it in on paper, write, write it down, and they learn
how to automatic write.
It really helps them to putthat anxiety somewhere.
You know, it's kind of akin tojournaling, but it's.

(05:30):
It's in action.
You know, it's reading peopleand learning how to do that.
But it was just cool.
That's all you're making methink about when people leave to
the event, that there should be.
I should have, like, somebodythat literally just like, clears
them and grounds them beforethey walk out.
It's also really neat.
We get a lot of parents thatbring in their kids, and they're

(05:53):
basically like, my kidsspecial help me.
And it's so neat that they're,like, open and, like, willing to
do that.
Like, it's like it skippedthat back like a generation again
where they're doing that.
And some of these little kids, man, their auras are so big, people
aren't even getting close to them.
I had a little kid once that.
It was so funny.
My business card has my faceon it.

(06:14):
And one of my friends had atable selling crystals, and she said
she walked this little boypick up my business card off the
ground, set it on the table, look through this basket of crystals,
pick a specific crystal, andset it on my card and walk away.
And of course, it was the exact.
It was a carnelian, which iswhat I was wearing that day.

(06:34):
Like, this little kid waslike, I was.
And I'm like, of course Icouldn't find him.
I'm like, where is this little child?
I need him to come fix me.
Where's the chosen one?
I need to speak with thechosen one.
Those kids all need blackobsidian necklaces or something to
get them through theirchildhood and ground their energy.
Because that was.

(06:56):
The first big crystal I boughtwas a massive black obsidian.
They're really.
They're actually so helpful.
And I think it's a smokyquartz that I have.
It's a ring my mom gave me shewas a little over the top.
So it's a rather large rockand I put it on my hand because I
was going to the nail salon, which is no fun anymore these days

(07:16):
because everybody.
No borders and boundaries, they've got their kids and their
dogs and it's just like, whatever.
But I wore the ring that dayso that I'd be more grounded and
it would repel things from mypsychic energy space and protect
me psychically.
And so I wore it.

(07:37):
And honestly, it was the bestexperience I'd had in a salon in
years when I was there becauseof that stone.
So for the people that don'tbelieve in it, I'm just going to
continue being helped by itwhile you don't believe in it because
it works.
No, I absolutely agree.
I went to a holiday once and Idon't remember.

(07:59):
I remember doing this andthinking, why am I doing this?
I got out of the shower, Ididn't put on any crystals.
I didn't put on any of myessential oils.
And then I went to be aroundmy family, knowing that it was not
going to be good.
And I left with a migraine inan hour.
And I was like, why did you do that?
Like, you knew better.
It was almost like I wastesting my own ability to just like,
boundary myself or something.
That it was like, no, youknow, if I don't have a crystal on

(08:22):
it, I'm really big onessential oils, you know, on that,
too.
I have my own shield of my ownprotection, but I want the extra
help, so I'm going to take it.
It's there for us and it'spart of the earth.
All of the ingredients andproperties are part of the earth
and so naturally part of us.
I don't know how it doesn'tmake sense to some people, but that's

(08:42):
a.
Whatever, you know, everybodyfigures it out in their own time
in their own way.
But I want to make.
It's going to be my fourthformula of vodka.
I want to make a protectionformula that's infused with the ingredients
for protection.
Because a lot of times peopleare out and they're not comfortable
or they don't want to be there.
And I thought it would protecttheir energy so that they can.

(09:06):
They can wet weather the stormof whatever work dinner they're at
or, you know, breakup with aboyfriend or whatever it is.
So the protection oils are legit.
I've used them.
They really do help.
And that's good advice foryoung mediums, too.
I have a lot of my listenerswho are like, really amazing moms

(09:28):
and dads that buy thoseessential oils, especially the protection
oil, for their small children.
And so when the children go tobed, they can anoint themselves with
it and know that they'reprotected and they sleep more easily.
Especially intuitive children, which I find almost 100% of children

(09:49):
are intuitive.
Until we corrupt thatbeautiful light inside of them with
the world, and they startshutting down from peer pressure
or being mocked or notbelieved, and they just start shutting
down.
So if you have a child outthere and you're listening and they're

(10:10):
sensitive and they most likelyare the essential oils, the protection
oils can be very helpful.
Granny Magic.com has them.
Do you also have a store?
I just make them and sell themto, like, friends and things like
that.
I used to do that, but not anymore.
I will say there's a lot ofpeople that make something called

(10:30):
Monster spray for kids.
Yeah.
And it's those.
And they spray it underneaththeir bed and things like that.
Makes it fun for them.
Yeah.
No, that's.
That's excellent idea forchildren because children are the
most exposed.
They have the least fewestboundaries of us.
Any of us out there, with theexception of the mentally ill, have

(10:53):
no borders or boundaries.
But children is.
That's a place where we can actually.
The way we raise them, canchange who they become.
And them seeing their gifts asa positive rather than a negative,
it's not something that theyshould have to hide.
They just have to find theirpeople out in the world as I went
out and did.

(11:13):
And 20 years ago, it was verydifferent than it is now.
And I'll tell you, even goingto Canada and hanging out with other
mediums, because I was on tourin Canada at the time.
I toured for 18 years doinglive events, and it was a whole thing.
And I was hanging out with oneof the mediums.
They had a barbecue for me.
So There was like 200 women there.

(11:33):
All of them smoked.
I'm like, it's how theygrounded themselves with the tobacco.
Hilarious.
They were all sort of witchyin nature, which I kind of loved.
And I just had the best time.
You didn't have to askyourself what they thought of you,
where you stood with them.
I have found most mediums arevery direct people because they know

(11:54):
life is short and they don'thave time to mince words.
And I really appreciate peoplewho are.
Who are really forthright withhow they feel and what their thoughts
are, because you don't have tospend all your energy digging to
try and know them.
They're Just like, this is whoI am.
It's like, great.
But it was interestingtraveling the world and seeing people

(12:15):
in the spiritual realm fromdifferent countries and how they
had a slightly different toneto them from other countries.
And I, I really did enjoy that.
But your, your festivals, it'dbe cool if at some point it becomes
21 and older and you just likeopen up, open up a bar and let them

(12:35):
drink and have a good time andget some more readings.
And I found that tends tolower their defenses and they're
just like, this is great.
As we found.
When you were doing readingslast weekend, people were drinking
the money potion, the love potion.
They were intention setting, they were having a good time.
And then you were there forany question that maybe they wouldn't

(12:58):
have asked before because theywere so hesitant of what someone
would think of them or maybe Idon't want the answer.
And they just did it.
And I'm so glad that you were there.
It made the event fantastic.
And I know you don't oftenmaybe do this or can people come
to you if they want to haveyou at some of the larger events?

(13:21):
Yeah, I do.
I do it a lot of during, likethe seasonal type events and around
like Halloween and things like that.
I really do enjoy the group aesthetics.
It's kind of hard after likethree hours.
You got to work in breaks.
But what I found was reallyneat at this event was they were
friends.
When friends would sittogether, it was so much better because
I would say something and afriend would gasp.

(13:43):
And it was like the sitterdidn't have a choice but to admit
what I was saying was true.
And it was like, it was so.
It was so fantastic.
Like, they're like, yeah, no,no, you're.
You're right on.
Just keep talking.
And I'm like, thanks for the confidence.
It's always better.
It's always better whenthere's a friend or a sister there
because they totally give awaythe person that's being read that's

(14:04):
got the poker face.
And it's like, oh, thank you.
Like, this doesn't have to be hard.
Let's just.
It's just actually reallyenjoy doing, like, I've done a couple
of bridal showers andbachelorette parties where it's just
10 women and they go one at atime for readings, but they all sit
around and listen to each other.
I have a group of girls thatthey do that once a year and it's
so neat because they all chimein on everybody's reading.

(14:25):
It's like Their life advice.
Yeah.
So those are really funparties to do.
I guess I've done those overZoom, too.
I guess the only bad momentthat there could be is when their
friend says, I told you he waswrong for you.
I told you.
I told you.
I'm like, yeah, I did have acouple reading ones.

(14:46):
And I was like, he.
She wouldn't leave for me todo the.
The partner at this Halloween party.
And I was, like, looking athim and he's looking at me, and I
was like, we just, like, connected.
And I just did say what Iwanted to say because.
Yeah.
And then, like, he just keptstaring at me all night long.
And I'm like, no, I'm readingyour mind.
I'm not going to tell her, sir.
But I was on his side, so it's.

(15:07):
It is funny with the guys, though.
They have more to hide.
They're afraid to shake our hands.
The ones.
I always tell Joe and myfriends this when a husband of someone
who's introducing me to him isafraid to shake my hand.
They're the people who havethe most to hide.
They always are the peoplethat have the most to hide.
It's like, don't worry.
I don't actually care whatyou're doing on the weekend or if

(15:30):
you took your secretary out to dinner.
I don't care.
It's a misconception withmediums and psychics that they think
that we always are digging intheir head.
It's like some.
Most of the time, we don'twant to know if we're not working.
Right.
That's borders and boundarieswith ourselves and preserving our
energy.
I mean, it's just.
It's exhausting.

(15:52):
It takes a lot of energy toread people's energy, especially
if you want to dig deep intheir head or in their soul.
And so we don't do that whenwe're out socially.
We're just socializing.
Well, when people ask that, they're like, did you read me or
did you pick up anything off me?
I'm like, listen, you.
First off, you don't reallywant me to.

(16:12):
You know, if I meet men in thedating world and they're like, ask
about readings, I'm like, onceI know these things about you, I
can't unknow them.
Once I hear them, I can'tunhear them.
Do you really want me to haveaccess to your energy and your chakras
and, like, tell you what'sgoing on in your deep, darkest childhood
wounds?
Like, probably not.
Right?
Right.
No, it's, you know, You.

(16:34):
It's so true.
My friend Rich Barra, who.
He's a morning show host onKiss fm.
He's a funny guy.
Years ago, I told him howpeople are always like, are you.
Are you have advice for me?
Like, what are you getting on me?
It's like, I'm just trying toeat lunch, but now I'm not really
looking into your energy.

(16:55):
He's like, just tell them, Allison.
Just tell them.
Never turn left and walk away.
And I was like, okay.
And I've actually said that acouple of times.
And people get totally freakedout because now they're afraid to
ever turn left because they'relike, am I going to be in a car accident?
Am I going to die?
It's like, yeah.

(17:16):
So sometimes we have to havefun with our abilities and our profession.
Like, I've used it to pickslot machines.
That'll pay off.
Why not?
My dad loved Vegas.
He'd want me to.
And I feel like we were giventhis gift to help other people, but
it's inside of us, so let'senjoy it as well.

(17:36):
So I'm not someone who won't.
Won't use it if.
If I need to, to protect my energy.
That's happened.
So funny.
I just won money at the boatsa couple weekends ago because I waited
my.
My buddy and was gambling, andI waited until a machine lit up.
It took about 30 minutes andit lit up.

(17:57):
Yeah.
Like, wow.
I should do that more often.
Yeah, absolutely.
Especially if you have arelative that love to gamble.
They'll highlight the slotmachine for you, like, cast a light
over it so, you know, that onepays off.
So they give my dad.
So there you go.
Yeah.
He took me to the boat on my16th birthday or on my 21st birthday.

(18:18):
We call them the boats in the Midwest.
Okay.
Water.
Yeah, the casino on my 21st birthday.
And I won sixteen hundred dollars.
And so.
Yeah, you won last weekend or.
Or recently.
That was your dad's way ofsaying, I'm taking care of you, baby.
See, I blessed you.
Yeah.
Like, because you were there, you.
You feel connected to him.

(18:38):
And he's saying, I got you.
And I love that.
So some people say, don't useit for things like that.
It's from God.
It's like, okay, God let uscreate casinos.
And I'm sure God would want usto enjoy our.
Ourselves while.
While we're here.
And that's the point that thedead always make to me.

(19:00):
Stop worrying what everybodyelse thinks about you.
They won't even be at your funeral.
Who cares.
So that really hit home for me.
And I'm just gonna live lifekind of irreverently and go out with
my hair on fire.
That's my plan.
Not literally on fire, but figuratively.
Just.
Yeah.
The people that thinkspiritual practitioners are supposed

(19:22):
to struggle financially andit's like they just don't understand
abundance.
They don't understand the mindset.
And my agreement, spirit, isas long as you take care of me, I
will pass on your message andtake care of other people.
You know, I made that dealwith them years ago, and it's still
work, hard works for me.
It's an exchange of energy.
I'm always telling people inthe business that are younger, and
I'm happy to hear that youhave such strong borders and boundaries.

(19:45):
It's an exchange of energy andit's okay.
And you have to charge orpeople don't value the reading.
You can't do them for free, oryou're going to get the people who
don't value it.
And they'll come back to you19 times and never listen to anything
you have to say.
But we all do our fair shareof an occasional donating a reading

(20:10):
for somebody that actually, you know, really, really needed it.
And we donate our time.
Maybe not formally, but we.
We do the reading for someonewho needs it, and we know we're there
in that time, in that placefor that reason, and we do it.
I've been on tour in Canada, and there was a missing picture,
a picture of a missing girl,Tori, that was everywhere.

(20:32):
And I looked at my cousin whowas my.
My tour manager, and I said,I'm gonna have to go to where she
disappeared.
I said, I have bronchitis.
I have an event tomorrow, butI gotta go to where she disappeared.
And I did my write up and Iturned it over to.
To the law enforcement who wassitting on the plane next to me on

(20:53):
my flight to Canada.
I'm like, okay, so obviouslythis is a case I'm supposed to work.
I mean, her face and name keptcoming up before I ever went to Canada.
And then when I was sittingnext to the guy in charge of the
investigation on the flight,I'm just like, okay, I got it.
I'll go.
And I did it.
And I never charged for anyreadings I did for murders, like

(21:16):
the murder cases.
I worked for 20 years.
I did pro bono.
That was my way of giving backto the universe for the blessings
that I've received and for my gift.
And that brings balance to my life.
So each individual, I think, with Abilities has to decide what
feels right to them and stickwith that and not worry about what

(21:38):
other people think we shoulddo with our life.
They can worry about their own life.
Don't tell me about mine.
That's amazing.
I don't know that I wouldthink that most people didn't know
that about you, that you didall that work for free.
Yeah.
Yeah.
I just didn't feel right evercharging for anything like that.
It was.
And actually, I did it at myexpense because I'd have to travel

(22:01):
to some of these places inorder to do it.
But I did, and it was theright thing.
And I.
It sort of goes back to mychildhood, when I knew I was going
to grow up to put bad guys away.
I just wanted to help children.
I wanted to help the victims, and that was my way of doing it.
And that and the Amber Alert.
I initiated the Amber Alertfor the state of Arizona in 2001

(22:26):
and served on the task forceto design it.
Or no, in 2000.
That was 2000.
So that was me saying tolittle Allison, you did it.
You grew up and you did it.
And I think that's a healthyway for people to look at the accomplishments
as adults, is to acknowledgethe child in you that maybe wasn't
heard, so that.

(22:47):
That part of you has thisresolute feeling of knowing that
she grew up to be exactly whoshe wanted to be.
It's all part of the soul, andit just feels right.
So before I let you go, do youhave any advice for young mediums
who feel like they don't fitin because you got a couple generations
coming up under you now thatdon't know what to do when they experience

(23:11):
what they experience.
Maybe advice for their parents.
Well, if I'm speaking toparents, I will say, I mean, this
is me as an educator, not as aparent speaking.
But I just think the greatestgift my parents gave me was never
making me feel, Never judgingme, never making me feel bad for

(23:32):
being different.
There was never a point in mylife where I remember my parents
saying anything mean about meor questioning.
And it was always like, okay, well, this is happening and this
isn't.
We can't.
You know, you can't do this atschool, but how do we fix it?
And so just.
And that's why I built acommunity that I did out of non judgment,
because I always felt sojudged and so criticized by my outside
world.

(23:52):
I mean, I was also a foottaller than everybody growing up
that didn't.
I was surprised at how tallyou were when I saw you.
I'm 5 11, so.
Yeah, but holding space andbeing patient and understanding and
validating people's feelingsof all ages is the most, you know,
you know, even if a kid actsup, it's, you know, I understand

(24:14):
you're angry.
You're allowed to be angry, but you can't throw chairs or hit
your sister when you're angry.
Right.
And a lot of times too, youhave to ask people what they're thinking,
not what they're feeling,because they don't know what they're
feeling.
Especially that works withreally well with grown men who don't
know how to articulate stuff.
It's what are you thinking?
But I just think for anybodythat wants to do this kind of work,

(24:35):
well, the first and foremostis learning and understanding boundaries
with spirit.
And, you know, how is the mostimportant thing you have to do before
you dabble with spirit at allis learn about grounding and protecting.
Yeah, but I just thinksurrounding yourself not with people
that are going to blow smokeup your butt, not that kind of people,
but people that are going tobe honest and true and authentic
with you that you cangenuinely be yourself around.

(24:57):
I always say, you know, ifyou're not your authentic self, those
people can't find you.
And that is what helps your, your gifts develop.
When you can truly be yourselfand find spaces where you can go
and you can be seen and youcan be heard and you just feel normal
for like, lack of better words.
Right.
Like not listening to thejudgment, not reading the stuff,

(25:19):
not going down, you know, therabbit hole of the stuff on the Internet
and the bad comments andstuff, like focusing as much as you
can on the positive.
And you know, I like, I loveto read, I love to see things from
other people's perspectives.
I have an open mind.
Like most of my beliefs and mythoughts are the way that they are.
And I have my own relationshipwith spirit.
But I also am open to change.

(25:40):
I think that's a big part.
And always remembering thatthere are people that can teach you,
because in my community, there's only a couple people I feel
like I can go to that canteach me.
And that's why it's soimportant for me to seek out other
opportunities of growth.
Yeah.
And to know that, like, it'snever ending.
You know, the conversation youand I had at the end of that event
was a five minute conversationand you said a couple things and

(26:03):
I was like, oh my gosh, I needher to adopt me.
Like you just when you said it.
Like it just was like aperspective change like that.
And so always being open to growing.
And, you know, if you have apassion for something, I believe
it wouldn't be there in yourheart if you weren't supposed to
do it.
And sometimes it gets scaryand you just gotta take a step back

(26:24):
and remember that spirit nevergoes anywhere.
We're the ones that disconnect.
You can plug right back inwhenever you want.
That's good advice.
Yeah, that's great advice.
I'm not talking about it.
That's.
And one more thing I'm goingto say to the young people.
Stay away from the Ouija boards.

(26:44):
Get a pad of paper and a pencil.
Write the impressions.
You get connected to peopleyou choose to bring through because
they're family members orfriends that have your best interests
at heart.
You don't want to be openingup any portals to anything that vibes
with your energy.
It's just too.

(27:04):
It's too much of a risk thatsomething can come through that is
darker, especially if thekid's depressed at the time that
they take out that Ouija board.
Frequency is attracted to like energy.
And that's a real thing.
And so people have to becareful about who they call down
to connect with.

(27:26):
And then adding to that, wherecan people find you for reading information
or where your fares are yourspiritual affairs?
Well, my business name isEmpowered Healing kc.
Like Casey for Kansas City.
So Empowered Healing kc.
The fairs are called the KCMystic Fair, the STL Mystic Fair.

(27:48):
Those are all on my website.
My.
I have a couple.
I have a Instagram for them too.
The Casey Mystic Fair.
And then I have a AstrologyMoon Witch is the meme page.
So Astrology Moon Witch.
I do have a personal pagewhich is cunkc, My initials C U I
N, K C.
So I share different stuff andthat one gets people for.

(28:10):
I've had friends for fiveyears not figure out what that meant.
And they say it all weird, butI'm pretty active on all those Instagrams
too.
That's great.
Okay.
So don't be surprised.
A lot of people are going toreach out because there are a lot
of people looking for guidanceand direction.
You're one of those resourcesfor them.
And I had no idea the peoplein Missouri were so spiritually awakened.

(28:34):
So I'm happy to hear that.
That you have festivals there.
Yeah.
And it's a lot different.
When I went up to Nebraska, itwas a whole different ball game.
Even the community here I'vedabbled in and I go to events.
It is Very different here than there.
It's interesting.
It's a very different energystate to state.

(28:55):
And when you tour as a medium, you can feel the difference in energy
in each ballroom or room thatyou're in to.
To do readings.
It's.
And some have very lowfrequency energy and some are just
popping off because they're soexcited and they're like very high
frequency energy people.

(29:15):
It really is interesting tosee the difference.
And it's really hard as amedium and I don't think people recognize
this.
We have to change ourfrequency to adjust and align to
each client's energy that weread as well as the dead frequency
and energy that's beingemitted that we have to connect with.

(29:35):
So we're sort of energy gurustrying to bring some sort of a stronger
connection and balance betweenthe living and the dead.
Literally.
Mediums, we're the middlemanand we're the in between.
And it's just so interesting.
We're always recalibrating ourenergy to adjust to the people around
us.

(29:55):
So even with you going fromplace to place, you know that's going
to take some energy from youhaving to then readjust every time
you go back to Missouri asopposed to maybe Sedona.
It's just very different, right?
It is very.
It is.
It was.
I'm a lot better at it nowthan I used to be.
But it's interesting.
Even when I do readings, I'llhear my tone change.

(30:15):
Yeah.
Because it's like the personneeds to hear that message in a softer
way.
And it so fascinates me.
I'm like, I'm not even doing this.
It's just coming out of my mouth.
Different.
Or you pick up a differentaccent from the dead because they're
from a different region.
If you go to New Orleans, it'sdifferent than if you're in Scottsdale,
like with a cowboy, whichactually we actually were like that.

(30:38):
I know people don't think weare now, but we actually are.
But it's just a very different vibe.
So good for you.
And I hope that the othermediums are out there, are able to
figure it out.
We did, so they can too.
