In this episode, I invite my good friend Cory McCormick onto the show! Cory has been immersed into music his whole life from skating to his favorite jams on the radio to doing freelance work for bands and mastering their albums to perfection. Cory is not a one trick pony though, he is a musician and song writer at heart. He has written and composed, "And Other Hearsay" in 2018 and plans to drop another album called, "Inner Space", once everything returns back normal due to the Corona Virus. I ask Cory if during this quarantine he's been able to watch Tiger King? haha.... And his reaction is pretty funny! One of the reasons I asked Cory onto the show is because I wanted to know the idea behind the band name, "The Man in The Bottle"? So Cory shares an interesting fact about the name and what meaning it has become to him. Come to find out, Cory works at EastWest Studios, so the Grammys are like the Super Bowl, but Cory offers an opinion that might be controversial (Billie Eilish's name is mentioned lol) even as it may very well make a lot of sense haha. I believe that Cory's journey is very relatable to the songwriter, musician, and creative in us all. There are times we have writers block, times we feel drowned out by the music or need to soul search to identify how to move forward. It's not the same thing for everybody, but Cory offers a unique perspective to the music and human element of it all.
