The truth is, pelvic pain is often multifactorial—arising from complex, overlapping issues across the gastrointestinal, urinary, gynecological, musculoskeletal, neurological, hormonal, and even psychosocial systems—making it hard to isolate a single diagnosis. Because our fragmented medical system rarely considers how these systems interact, patients are often dismissed or bounced between specialists without ever receiving comprehensive care.
