(00:21):
With me I have, as always, myco-host, my good friend Val
Stadium.
Food Girl, what up, girl?

Speaker 2 (00:27):
Hi, I'm so excited.
Happy Monday.

Speaker 1 (00:29):
Happy Monday indeed.
Are we ready tonight?

Speaker 2 (00:33):
We are ready and I'm so excited because today we have
a super special guest and oneof my best friends, oh man, and
I want to give her the title ofbeing the biggest Angels fan
that I know.
Aka tumble travels on socialmedia.

Speaker 3 (00:49):
thank you for joining us today yes, thanks so much
for having me.

Speaker 1 (00:53):
I'm so excited oh man , so you telling me that we can
ask her all questions regardingVal now.
Regarding Val now, is this whatI hear?

Speaker 3 (01:05):
I mean we did go to the Arizona Fall League and we
did share a room, so got a lotof secrets.

Speaker 1 (01:14):
Here we go, here we go.
I love to hear this.
This is how this is going tostart.
I love it, val.
It's all you, girlfriend, allyou.

Speaker 2 (01:23):
Well, thanks so much again, alex, for being on here,
and I'm so excited because Ihave been.
We've been following each otherfor a very long time, and I
have to say that I know I'm notspeaking for myself when I say I
have learned so much aboutthings to do in different cities

(01:44):
when you travel.
I feel like you are like thealmost like the sports travel
encyclopedia that I've alwayswanted to like, follow and like
really know, because you'vetaught me, like think, the best
hotels to stay at when going toa stadium, right Like the ones
that are like themed to thestadium or to the team, and then

(02:05):
like, like, more importantly, your page has taught me so much
about the Angels, a stadium thatI really love.
I love the city of OrangeCounty, and so, yeah, I'm just
so glad that we like now knoweach other and that we follow
each other.
Yeah, no, I'm following her tooby the way, just so you know,
Val.
Oh no, I'm following her too, bythe way, just so you know, val.

Speaker 3 (02:26):
Oh yeah, we do follow each other, but Val has taught
me so much about eating oncamera, can I just tell you that
it's all thanks to her.

Speaker 1 (02:37):
I'm like a five-year-old when I eat on
camera.
So you know there's, there'sthat.

Speaker 2 (02:43):
I mean, it's fun.
It's fun, you know, and I feellike she does a really good job
of not only eating in front ofthe camera but showing us the
great eats at Angel Stadium, andI can't believe it's been 2019.
It'll be six years if I don'tgo next year, but we're going to
change that.
Yes, we are.

Speaker 1 (03:05):
You know that I've never been to California.

Speaker 3 (03:07):
What Like the whole state?
It's so big.

Speaker 1 (03:10):
The whole state.
I've never been to California.
I've flown over California toHawaii Never been to.
California.

Speaker 3 (03:17):
You've got to make a pit stop.

Speaker 1 (03:19):
That's wild, right, that's just crazy.

Speaker 2 (03:22):
It's expensive, but there are a lot of stadiums, a
lot of options for sports there,so it's nice all right.

Speaker 1 (03:30):
So I have a question, alex what, why, why did you
decide you know what I'm justgonna do why this right?
Why?
Why on instagram?
Why you decided that you'regonna just get into this you
know instagram, world, world anddo all of this Like what got
you interested in it?

Speaker 3 (03:49):
Yeah, so, like Val said, we travel a lot, my
husband and I, and we've been.
I think our like journey to 30started in 2016.
That was like our extendedhoneymoon, because we got
married in November 2015.
We got we started going tostadiums in 2016 and it's just
like what are we going to dowhen we're there, what are we

(04:13):
like, what are we going to eat, what are we going to visit?
And it's really hard to find allthose things kind of in one
place and like what's convenient.
And so I plus I was feel like Iwas spamming all my friends and
family on like my personalpages and I was like you know
what we should like, justdocument all this in one spot.
I think part of that, too, wasI knew that we wanted to have

(04:35):
kids and I did it.
Well, just one.
And I knew I didn't like reallywant to front and center my
child on Instagram.
So, like to strangers, we wouldadd people like all the time on
our travels and I'm like well, what if some of these people
aren't as friendly as I thinkthey are?
So, um, that kind of went outthe window a little bit, because
I do feature my son a lot oninstagram now, um, but I made

(05:00):
the page in 2019 and I didn'tmake it public until 2022, I
think.
So then, in 2022.
I started making it public, Istarted interacting with people
and I started learning about, like, new places that we hadn't
been, or maybe places that wemissed when we explored, and I
always would get questions likewhere should we go?

(05:20):
Like to this, um, like in thiscity.
Like where would?
Where could we go for drinksbefore the game?
Where should we eat?
Like, is this like in this city?
Like, where could we go fordrinks before the game?
Where should we eat?
Like, is this worth it?
So things like that, and so Ithought it would be great to
share that with everybody thatwas interested.
And along the way, I've metlike a lot of really cool people
I mean Val included who arealso doing these journeys to 30

(05:41):
or just exploring new cities inthe United States, so it's been
really great.

Speaker 1 (05:48):
Interesting.
I love it.
Now, do you do just MajorLeague Baseball, or no, you know
what?
Actually, because I'm lookingat your Instagram, you do all
the sports as well.

Speaker 3 (05:58):
Yeah, so it's mostly baseball, but we do do other
sports.
So we live in Orange County sowe have a hockey team.
We're just up the road from LA,so we've done some basketball
games.
There's like the G League arein LA County and now in San
Diego, so the best essentiallylike the NBA minor league.

(06:19):
So we've been trying to go tothose games and so it's really
kind of focused a little bitmore on taking our son to these
games and how we could stillenjoy the games with a toddler
in tow.
So, um, I think, like I mean, you would know, right, like life
changes once you have a kid andyou have to adjust.
And our travels have definitelyadjusted, like from 2016 to

(06:42):
2020.
My son was born in 2020, solike we've had to make
adjustments.
Like we never used to getrental cars.
We get rental cars now we likedon't uber it as much like.
So now we've been focusing moreon like getting a hotel right
by the stadium so we can walkthere and like can we bring our
stroller?
Like what should we bring toeat for him, and all that kind

(07:03):
of in one place is really kindof a focus of that.

Speaker 1 (07:08):
That's actually.
That's actually very smart.
That's something I will be like.
All right, listen, alex, I'mtaking my six-year-old what's up
, you know, because it'sinteresting as a parent, right
when you're like you know, tryto go, because we go through the
same thing.
Try to plan, like I currentlyhave in my car.

(07:29):
Obviously, besides our boosterseat, I have a stroller in my
wife's car and I have a strollerin my own car, because you
never know you know, and it'slike you know, you, there are a
lot of people like you know, andno, and I'm not trying to be,
but, Val, like you don't thinkabout those things, right, like
you don't think about, like youknow, what am I going to do?
Like you know, entertainment, not just for myself but for for
a kid.

Speaker 3 (07:48):
So that's, that's super smart yeah, because, like
also it, the child tickets likeit's not consistent across major
league baseball.
So like, for example, like theMinnesota Twins, like your kid
needs to be 32 inches or shorterto be free, and I'm like I

(08:11):
don't like the last time I wentto the doctor they said he was
this much like I don't know howtall he is Right.
And then like Petco Park, it'slike 30 inches, detroit, the
Tiger Stadium, you have thatyour kid could be four like and
not need a ticket.
So it's just it varies and it'shard to try to find that all in
place.
So I try to do that before theseason starts to just say hey,

(08:33):
like this is all of the MajorLeague Baseball, like criteria
on child tickets.
And then also just like food andwhat we bring, like we bring a
clear bag, even though we don'tneed two diaper bags are an
exception, but just makes it somuch easier to go through
security.
But just like tips and tricksis really what I've been trying
to do.
In addition to like, what we asadults really like to do is

(08:55):
like we like to eat, like here'swhat we're eating.
Like I mean, it's really aboutjust like the whole family
experience in your life doesn'tend just because you have a
three-year-old that you knowwants to eat applesauce all day
for real girl no, no, I'm tryingto understand.

Speaker 2 (09:11):
I'm trying to uh understand that more, that life
doesn't end because it's like,oh, like, once you have a kid,
everything changes.
But I've seen following yourpages become like more goals.
You know that lifestyle oh forsure.
The family and continuingpassing on what was passed on to

(09:33):
you.

Speaker 1 (09:37):
You know, let me ask you and I'm looking at the
webpage right now, so I want toask a bunch of questions.
By the way, you say you're inOrange County, so you're a Ducks
fan.
I take it.

Speaker 3 (09:51):
I'm not like a huge hockey follower, but I am a
Ducks fan.
Yeah, I would say I'm a.

Speaker 1 (09:56):
Ducks fan.
That's a great answer.
That's what I was looking for.
We're okay there.
That's it Perfect.
Because the original logo it'sit Perfect, you know, because I
mean the original logo, it'samazing, which also, you know,
we're talking off of hair Right, the, because we both like me
and Val, we both like the, theone A with the wing on it, and
then obviously, that logo wasoriginally for the hockey team,
was originally a Disney logo, so, like the fact that they're

(10:18):
actually able to use that nowit's amazing and it makes me so
happy because that's the best.
Know, anaheim ducks local thereis.
Fight me, I promise, know what?
You guys are not gonna win thatone, I agree.
So so let me ask you this walkyou, you know, walk us through
that that step.
Like, what do you do when youknow, when you're planning that

(10:39):
trip, what's, what do you lookfor?

Speaker 3 (10:42):
yeah.
So I like to see what we can dowith my son when we're not at a
game.
So like, what child-friendlyactivities are there?
And we always do that.
I met up with Val in San Diegoand I said, yeah, we just went
to the aquarium and now we'rehere, right, so like we try to
do something for him and alsoit's a little bit to tire him

(11:04):
out, but really just likesomething that's focused on him,
and then we'll go to the game.
And my son loves the game sohe's gonna have a good time too.
But it's just something morefocused on him initially.
So it's like what are what arewe gonna do?
Where is it like, where is thislocated?
What you know?
Then what are we gonna eat forlunch?
Um, and then we head to thegame.

(11:26):
Then, when we look at tickets,it's like are there any
all-inclusive areas?
It was all.
It was easier when he was free, because it's like I did the
like mom math maybe, like Idivided by three, and I'm like,
oh, these are pretty inexpensive.
But now we have a different ballgame there, but, um, but yeah.
So it's like, what is theregoing to be to eat for him?

(11:47):
Like, do we have enough snacks?
Um, I have to say um,uncrustables are like lifesavers
for us in case there isn'tevery flavor here Raspberry,
grape, strawberry, uh, honey, wehave all of them.
We have all yeah, yeah, yeah.
He definitely likes those too.

Speaker 1 (12:05):
So we'll grab that.

Speaker 3 (12:06):
I do have to also say one of the things that we do is
like when we find, when we getto a new city is after we pick
up our rental car, we gostraight to Target and we'll do
a mobile order before we get onthe plane and we'll pick up like
when he was in diapers, we'dpick up a pack of diapers.
We'd pick up a pack of diapersbecause that's one less thing in
our suitcase.
We'd pick up uncrustables.
We'd pick up snacks, um, justso that we have those already

(12:28):
like with us and then we don'thave to make those stops along
the way.
Um, and if we and we can go towhatever restaurants that matt
and I want to go to, becauselike he'll have his uncrustable
right, like he doesn't needanything on the menu, so um,
yeah so that's because those arekind of the things that we do
to kind of get ready for ourtrips.
And you know, I used to do a lotmore of looking up on, like the

(12:51):
food network, but I feel likethose shows have kind of come
and gone um so I'll either getlike recommendations from others
.
That was like another goal ofour page.
It's like finding people indifferent areas that we can ask
like their personal opinions andrecommendations.
I think that's um huge to likeknow other than yelp.
I think my biggest pet peeve isto get to a new city and like

(13:14):
jump on yelp or like google andlike see what we should, where
we should go, because, like Imean, people are gonna be like I
went to this lobster place andI hate lobster, so one star and
it's like well, you know they'renot like real reviews a lot of
the time.
So yeah.

Speaker 1 (13:29):
If you hate lobster, why go to a lobster place Like
if you go to?
You know people really make memad sometimes.

Speaker 3 (13:36):
I'm just going to say that, yeah, and so, yeah, so
when we went to like Kansas Cityand St Louis, we looked up like
the best barbecue places.
You know, we only had a fewdays in each city.
So it's like where are we goingto go?
Does it make sense for us todrive across the way?
Okay, we're going to drive, sowhere can we stop halfway?

(13:57):
So, yeah, things like that.

Speaker 1 (14:01):
That's smart, super smart.
I really liked what you saidabout that.
You are not, yeah, likeobviously you take a handful of
them, but like you go in and yougo to target right away, like
you look for your target, you dothat mobile order and then boom
off, you go.
That's so smart I I could.
I never really thought aboutthose things right and you're
like you know you're putting upyour luggage.

Speaker 2 (14:22):
Everything falls out.
Make room.
You make your luggage way more.

Speaker 1 (14:26):
Right, well, you could be putting other stuff in
there.

Speaker 3 (14:30):
Yeah, and then like, so, anytime I'd get like a
target gift card for likeChristmas, a birthday or
anything like that, I would justkeep it in my mobile app and I
would never use it until we'reon vacation.
And then like, okay, I'm goingto put in a mobile order, what
are we getting?
And I would, I would use that.
So then it like kind of bringsa little bit down the cost right
, cause like normal life, you'regoing to use, you're going to

(14:51):
go to target, you're going toget toothpaste, whatever like,
and you're going to that.
Those are things that youbudgeted for, cause that's life,
but when you're on vacation I'mspending my time.
If I have these like stowedaway Again, maybe it's mom math,
but I think it's always helpful.

Speaker 1 (15:06):
Smart math, that's what it is.
So and the fact that you pickup on crustables, that's awesome
.
What's your son's favorite oncrustable?

Speaker 3 (15:18):
He actually got the honey one recently and he really
liked it.
But he likes the strawberry alot.

Speaker 1 (15:23):
I'm all about the strawberry.
My daughter has been big on thepeanut butter and honey one.
Recently he really liked it,but he likes the strawberry a
lot.
I'm all about the strawberry.
My daughter has been big on thepeanut butter and honey one
lately.
I'm not going to lie.
Listen, I eat one of thosebefore I go for a workout, so
it's a great snack.
Because we buy the Costco sizebox here.
We don't mess around nowanymore.
We buy the big box and then weput it in our chest freezer in

(15:46):
the garage.

Speaker 2 (15:47):
Yeah, Big thumbs down because the best flavor is the
grapes.

Speaker 1 (15:53):
You need to calm down girl.
Okay, best flavor is strawberry.
Grape is delicious.

Speaker 3 (15:59):
I don't like grape really kind of anything because
it always brings me back to likeDiamond Tap.
When I was like a little girland I was sick, my mom would
give me diamond tap.
I think anything great tasteslike diamond tap my wife is the
same way.

Speaker 1 (16:11):
Well, she cannot stand the smell of grape because
of her childhood and andmedicine.

Speaker 3 (16:17):
She cannot totally like jolly ranchers no, thank
you.
Like Jolly Ranchers no, thankyou.
Wow, I do like wine though whodoesn't?

Speaker 2 (16:30):
Hey, hey, Okay, fine, I forgive you as I'm learning
about how organized you are.
There's another question that Ikind of want to get into on
that note of like organization, and it's how did you freaking
organize an entire wedding atAngel Stadium?
Because I'm sure a lot ofpeople don't know this about you

(16:52):
, but you got married at AngelStadium, which is goals.

Speaker 3 (16:58):
Yeah, um, I mean, I had like a really amazing
coordinator.
I'm going to send this to herafter I'm done.
But, um, I had a really amazingcoordinator I'm going to send
this to her after I'm done.
But I had a really amazingcoordinator and she kind of laid
it all out for me.
But I did, you know, did I didmost or all of the planning as
far as like the little details.
So you know, there's a lot ofPinterest and we have been
planning it for a long time andI had a lot of really amazing

(17:22):
talented friends too.
So, like one of my best friendsfrom college, he designed our
logo.
So if you notice it, if youzoom in a little bit on some of
the photos, they have like thelittle points at the end, so
it's the angels font.
So he helped design that for usand then we use that on the
tickets like a lot of Etsy.
It's like a lot of Etsy.

(17:43):
And then one of my friends fromwork, he did our flowers and he
did like the peanuts in thecenter pieces, kind of tie it
all in.
We did.
I had a friend who used to workfor a baseball equipment
company and he got me like a tonof baseball.
So that was really helpful tojust have them and be able to

(18:06):
use them and all of ourdecorative things.
Um.
So yeah, and I just got a lotof ideas off Pinterest and um,
and just like little details,like like I wouldn't, I know I
would notice and I would like.
So we got all the boys stancedance socks.
They're angel dance socks.
I thought that was cool.
The red Vans is quintessentialCalifornia and the red like

(18:31):
matched perfectly with, like thegirls' red dresses, and I knew
I wanted to incorporate red andgray.
Those are some angels' colorstoo.
So, yeah, just like just littlethings, and I didn't want to do
too much because, like you know, you don't want, like your whole
wedding to be a Pinterest board, but it was just like those

(18:52):
little things that I thinkcaught on.
And so, um, we like the lastthing I like, when you're
planning a wedding, you want tokind of like what are your must
haves and what can you dowithout?
So, like, one of the things Idid without was the um, like the
wedding, the party favors.
So I'm like nobody really wantsus, like nobody wants a coaster
, like nobody wants this stuff.
But then, at the very lastminute I was like you know what,

(19:13):
let's just do it like.
And I bought.
I bought a bunch of, um, uh,can koozies, like everyone can
use a can koozie, so yeah, so wedid those things, um, and then
what else?
did we do?
Yeah, so it was just likelittle things.
And then what, what could thevenue like kind of support us
with right?
So we did um like the hawkerappetizer, so we had them like

(19:37):
kind of walking around with likethe baskets of um like peanuts.
We did hot dogs and then yeah,so yeah, it's just like what we
could do.
And they had some things too.
Like they laid out some likebig heads for the, for the what

(19:59):
is it called?
The photo booth.
They brought out some thoselike just like lawn games and
stuff like that.
So that was like really coolthat they had there, so that's
cool.
There was a lot of planning, too, though, so we were engaged for
like gosh, like 18 months.
Maybe we were engaged a longtime, but I mean it was worth it

(20:21):
because we were able to doeverything we wanted to do yeah
that's awesome when you firstcame up with the idea, did you
think that it would actuallyhappen?

Speaker 2 (20:32):
because I know I'd want to get married, like at the
las vegas ball park.
I just don't know if it'llhappen you never know, girl, you
never know.

Speaker 3 (20:39):
So I knew that they did weddings.
That was like.
The one thing is like I knewAngel Sadum did weddings,
because there was a weddingthere.
It was featured in the OrangeCounty newspaper and my in-laws
like left it on the kitchentable and they were like, oh
yeah, just you know, just foryou guys to look.
I I bet they didn't even thinkthat we would do it, but that

(21:01):
was like I always had that inmind.
Like after that, I'm like, oh, Iwant to do this, Cause, like
everyone gets married at a golfcourse or like some random place
, like a hotel, Like it's likethis is like different and it's
close, it's close to us and ourfamilies, Like both my and my
husband's families, like we alllive relatively close.
And so, yeah, it was like wehad to do it.

(21:24):
And so I also was like there'sno way I'm going to be able to
afford to do this.
But hey, let's just send thisemail and see what happens.
And yeah, it's like supercomparable to like any other
place.
Um, like I mean honestly, I'mlike super open book.
I probably paid like a hundreddollars a person.
Like that's like appetizers forreal, like open beer, wine and

(21:49):
champagne for three hours andlike dinner that's legit good
yeah, well, that's okay.
Then I also paid for theceremony on the field, right, so
like, so, just like the rentalof like the location.
So it was like super comparable.
I mean again, that was in 2015,so prices have changed everyone

(22:12):
um but it is like you know, myfriends were paying like 75
dollars a person at a golfcourse, and and there were other
things too, like um, that youdon't think about when you're
planning a wedding.
Um, like one of my friends waslike make like check to see what
time we can get in to startgetting ready, because some
places don't let you startgetting ready at the location
until like two hours before.

(22:33):
Let's say yeah and um, and thenyou have to pay for like a hotel
or somewhere for you and yourgirls to get ready, because you
want all be in the same place.
So they let us in at like sevenin the morning maybe.
And then the boys got ready inthe visitors clubhouse, like I
just asked.
I'm like hey, I heard that thatyou guys have done this before.

(22:54):
Like any chance the boys coulddo this down there.
And they said yes, and I waslike hey, since we're getting
married outside of baseball oroutside of wedding season you
know, wedding season is usuallyduring the summer and we're
getting married on a Friday likeany chance we can get a
discount and we're going to.
You know, we're going to paylike we're not putting this on

(23:15):
credit, things like that andthey were like, yeah, sure, like
a two thousand dollar discounton our ceremony.
So it's like it doesn't hurt toask.
Like the worst they could sayis no, we don't do that.

Speaker 1 (23:25):
And I mean listen right.

Speaker 2 (23:32):
Like.
The worst thing that could sayis no, at least you asked.

Speaker 3 (23:36):
Well, they'll say something nicer, but they'll at
least say you know, this doesn'treally.

Speaker 1 (23:41):
Well, unfortunately, this is the price for everybody
and we have to follow theseguidelines.

Speaker 3 (23:49):
That's all they'll tell you.

Speaker 1 (23:50):
They'll say no, like that.

Speaker 3 (23:52):
But that's the thing.
You have to know what to ask.
I know I'm not going to get adiscount on food.
This is a menu.
This is a menu and that's howmuch they're going to charge you
.
But for us to have a ceremonyon the field, like how much is
that really going to cost?
Like could you do a discount onthat?

Speaker 1 (24:06):
yeah well, and not only that, but like the fact
that, like not everybody gets toget married at a ballpark on
the field you know what I mean.
So that's like looks like ubercool.
That's like, you know, liketrue big, huge, massive baseball
fans.

Speaker 3 (24:21):
You know that's their dream right there and you got
to live that yeah yeah, I, Imean, I remember even saying
like I'm like I can't believeI'm getting married here.
Like on, right before I'm aboutto walk down the aisle, I'm
like I can't believe I'm gettingmarried here.
Like I said, that's my weddingcoordinator.
She was like standing next tome I was like this is so
freaking weird, um, and then, yeah, and so we, we did that.

(24:44):
We got married.
Well, we got the girls gotready in a suite upstairs, the
boys got ready in the visitor'shouse, like I mentioned, um, and
then we, we took pictures onthe field.
Um, I was gonna mentionsomething else, but yeah, I mean
that's awesome, oh, and so whatI did?
so what I did, too, was like, when I was looking to see people

(25:05):
that got married there, Ilooked up a wedding coordinator,
like who they use as a weddingcoordinator, and so, like you
want somebody that's familiarwith your venue too, or like
someone that's done somethingsimilar.
So I went with her and Iactually happened to know her.
We used to work together likeyears before that so that was
also really helpful because shewas like someone familiar to me

(25:26):
and I knew like she was going tohelp me as much as she could as
far as like recommendations.
And then I hired vendors thatwere either familiar with either
a wedding there or each other, because that's also important.
You want like cohesiveness inyour vendors, so that was that
was great and we had likeamazing people, um, on our day

(25:46):
that's awesome.

Speaker 1 (25:47):
That's actually again .
Val is like probably looking.
I was like can I get married atthe las vegas?

Speaker 2 (25:57):
I would love to, and vegas is really.
I started my life, so it makessense.

Speaker 1 (26:01):
So dude ask.

Speaker 2 (26:03):
Yeah, I will.

Speaker 1 (26:03):
You know people there .

Speaker 2 (26:06):
Yeah, but what are they telling now?

Speaker 1 (26:07):
All I'm saying is that the ballpark offers a
variety of indoor and outdoorspaces for events, including
field pool, batting cages, partydecks and suites.
That's from the Las VegasAviators.
I'm just saying I'm readingwhat they're telling me.
Yeah, it Las Vegas Aviators.
I'm just saying I'm readingwhat they're telling me.
It has a full serviceproduction booth, broadcast
infrastructure and event power.
So I mean catering.

Speaker 3 (26:29):
I think you might know the catering people there,
just saying you need to lookinto it, because a lot of
ballparks do do it.
So you never know.
I mean, they do events all thetime.
One of the things that theyweren't gonna do for us is like
turn on the um, turn on like thebig scoreboard um, because like

(26:50):
that would have been extra andwe were like no, that's okay,
like I don't want to pay forthat, and they ended up turning
it on because there was an eventearlier that day.
So that was like really coolthat that was there.
Um, you just like never know,we couldn't bring like outside
food and beverage though.
So, like because you know theyhave the catering company, like

(27:10):
they wouldn't like necessarilyallow that.
So we just like bought beersand stuff like for the boys to
get to drink before they gotready.
And yeah, it was really cool.

Speaker 1 (27:19):
It's your husband, as big a fan as you are yeah, yeah
, no, he, he played baseballgrowing up.

Speaker 3 (27:27):
Um, he played little league, he played um and like
the like beginning of highschool and then he um had
surgery on his arm, he had tommyjohn surgery and so he never
played again.
Um, but he's a pitcher.
I hear he was really good.
My husband's super humble hedoesn't like to talk about
himself, really anything at all.

(27:48):
He, uh, he, uh, yeah, he wasreally good.
From what I hear, he likerepresented the us and canada
when he was younger.
Um, like played out there.
So he's um, he's a huge fan andhis family, um, they're all
like big fans, like they've beengoing to spring training.
I think like his first yeargoing to a spring training game

(28:10):
was like in 1987 or somethinglike that, or in 89, um, when,
yeah, like um, and when they, when angels were playing in Palm
Springs, wow, yeah, and so yeah.
So he's been going for years.
His whole family has and theyhave family friends that were
like Angel season ticket holderssince the Angels came in 1961.

(28:35):
And so we've just always hadthat and that's like something
we have in common.

Speaker 1 (28:44):
So that was really, really, really cool for us see,
like, there you go, I like that.
Yeah, I'm the same way.
I play what?
Maybe half a season in highschool and I'm six for two, and
then I'm a catcher, and that wasit I was done.

Speaker 3 (28:57):
Oh yeah, that's gotta be running your knees.

Speaker 1 (28:59):
Yeah what?
I have no knees.
There's just an empty holethere.
There's nothing there anymore.
Anyways, that's awesome, thoughI mean.
Again, I go back to it's likenot everybody gets to do this
and that's like one of thecoolest experience for anybody.
Right, we got to live ourexperience for our wedding when

(29:24):
we we got married.
Right, we had a destinationwedding, but like as if you're a
massive baseball fan, the factthat, like you know, you got to
do all of that.
You know, like I mean, and thenif I'm like the groom and I'm
like holy part in my language, right, holy shit, I get to get
dressed in the visitors.
You know dressing room and allthat.
Like you know, that's awesome.
Right, you know the clubhouseright there with you know, with

(29:46):
like plenty of players you knowAaron, judge and and then
Ramirez for my, my baseball team.
You know like all these playersget to get dressed there and
like I'm putting my, my, my suithere.
Now, that's awesome.

Speaker 3 (29:59):
I mean they, they showered in those showers here.
Now that's awesome, oh yeah, Imean they, they showered in
those showers, um, they were.
They also told me that, um,there were like the lockers had
the names on the top for thekansas city royals, because this
is when we thought that wewould the angels would be
playing the royals like, I thinkfor like a wild card game or
something like that, and so theyhad prepared the clubhouse for

(30:22):
that and so that was kind ofcool to like know that a little
bit.
So that was yeah, so that wasawesome.
Yeah, I think everybody enjoyedit, everyone had a great time.
Like we kept hearing like thisis so cool, like so yeah, it was
the best time ever.

Speaker 1 (30:39):
So see, Val, you're next.

Speaker 3 (30:42):
Yeah, you got to do it.
Oh my gosh, val.
Also, we had to do a foodtasting to decide what we wanted
to have.
So that was really cool.
They laid out all this food.
I'm like, can I have someTupperware or something?
So we tried three differententrees and some appetizers and
then we settled on on um what wehad think about all the content

(31:04):
you could create.

Speaker 2 (31:06):
I know that's what I'd say, if it's set up the way
it would be set up where it'slike the bestie, chef gary doing
everything, I know he would setup the foods that I like.

Speaker 1 (31:17):
I would just skip the tasting like see, alex, you can
see her right now.

Speaker 2 (31:21):
Her brain is working right now so hardcore, the main
course would have to be hisOklahoma City Burgers, because
they're not the Dodgers anymore.
So Oklahoma City Burgers, thoseare the best at the Las Vegas
Ballpark.

Speaker 1 (31:37):
See, but no, you're not thinking about it at all.
You're not thinking about oh, Iwant this food item, I want
this food item, I want that fooditem I want this drink pair
with this.

Speaker 2 (31:47):
Yeah, plus, the upstairs area is perfect to host
people.
Oh my gosh, let me not gosidetrack.
On the note of food, though, you guys want to know something
that I learned just this seasonfrom following her page they
have an entire.
Is it a brewery?
Alex?
It's called brewery x, right, but is it an actual brewery?

Speaker 3 (32:07):
well, brewery x is a brewery in anaheim.
It's like one of our localbreweries and um, and it's
awesome, like the actual breweryitself in anaheim is super cool
to go to.

Speaker 2 (32:19):
But um, yeah, the restaurant is called brewery x
and they serve brewery x beersthere oh dope, okay, kind of
like in kansas city they do well, I guess everywhere they do
something like that everybody.

Speaker 1 (32:28):
yeah, like nowadays, that's the cool thing about like
you know baseball that not alot of other um sports can do,
but like the fact, like inbaseball you can actually, you
know, pair, you know, pair abrewery with a ballpark, with a
team, and all that, and that's,that's something super cool.

Speaker 2 (32:46):
Yeah, so obviously it's been.
It's been a while since I'vebeen at Angel Stadium, but I see
when you go to Angels games youpost on your story like the
menu you can order in advance orlike like how do you do it when
you go?
Because I just see like photosbut I don't really know like how
you do it when you go, becauseI just see like photos but I
don't really know like how youdo it.

Speaker 3 (33:04):
exactly, okay, this is like, probably psychotic, but
I like keep the link to themenu on my phone in, like my um
and like my windows and so whenthe game starts, I like refresh,
and then it's like the new menu.
Oh my God.

Speaker 1 (33:22):
That's smart, that's not that's not psychotic, that's
smart.

Speaker 3 (33:26):
Cause I'm like well, do I want to eat there today, or
do I not, like before I evenget there?
And then, um yeah, so that'swhat I, that's what I've been
doing.

Speaker 2 (33:35):
Does it change every homestand or every game?

Speaker 3 (33:45):
So it changes.
Every homestand they have aspecialty dog.
So the chef I call him chef rad, but he does like a like a
specialty hot dog, depending onthe opponent.
So, like the houston dog wasreally good.
It had like corn and black beansalsa on it.
The seattle dog obviously hadsome cream cheese.
They had um, like a, a dog withlike burnt ends on it, or like
one with brisket.
So, like every homestand it'ssomething special.

(34:07):
Sometimes it's a burger, um,but it's always like I feel like
the food there is elevated and, plus, like the bartenders there
are super cool, um, laura andashley gotta give them a shout
out and marco.
So it's just like a cool vibein there.
And it's open to all ticketholders, which a lot of people
don't know because it's in theclub level.

(34:27):
So people think you have tohave a club level ticket but you
can just go up there, um, youhave to like go up, like near
the right field gate to go up,because if you go on the other
side, the ushers will stop youbecause you don't have a ticket.
So you have to go all the waydown.
Trust me, I've tried it andit's really a long walk.
So you have to go-.

Speaker 1 (34:47):
But worth it.

Speaker 3 (34:49):
Yeah, through the right field gate and then go up
the ramp.
It's right there.
So if you can find a table, great.
It's like they do have sometables that are just like first
come, first serve inside, butthen you can put your name on a
waitlist and they might have atable outside.
Sometimes I'll try to findtickets on I use like a ticket

(35:09):
website to get tickets in thelike the seating, so you sitting
outside, like toward the bottom, and just kind of like the like
the bar seating outside, um,and then you can have food
ordered and delivered down there, um, but sometimes I'll just go
in there and I will order thefood for pickup and then I'll
just go back to my seat and eatit.

(35:30):
Or my son likes to just kind ofsit outside in like the
courtyard and like run around,so we'll I'll just grab food and
then we'll go down there andeat there.
But I'll try to like a lot ofreally good foods, like, like I
said, it's elevated.
So it's almost like you'realmost like like it's almost
like fancier for like regularticket holders, right, like you
think you're to yourself, I justpaid five dollars for this
ticket.
I'm getting this like amazingmeal, um, so like we really like

(35:54):
the chopped cheese sandwich.
That's new this year and thatwas really good.
Um the carnitas, no, I thinkthe nachos there are better than
the other nachos because theyuse what feels like or tastes
like, um like maybe fresh friedtortillas toward um chips versus
like maybe like the testitosones, sorry, um, and then um,

(36:17):
like the carnitas on it withlike the pickled red onions and
like the sour cream, so bomb.
And also like I I had gottenlike the grilled tacos there,
the grilled shrimp tacos.
Those were really good.
They had this corn with likechicharron like around it and
and the aioli.
So anyway, the food there islike amazing and I love that you

(36:39):
can get it to go.
So they package it up reallynicely with like the nice thick
napkins and like they put likecondiments in there and like
utensils and you can just takeit with you to your seat.
Um, which is awesome too.

Speaker 2 (36:53):
Is it hard to get a table there?
And I ask because the d-backshave something similar at their
uh at their restaurant, um, andit's, and every time I go it's
always easy to get a table.
So is it easy at Angel Stadium?
Do a lot of people know aboutit?
You think?

Speaker 3 (37:08):
Yeah, I think it depends.
Like some people do know aboutit, and I think some people buy
tables ahead of time too.
So there's that.
So you're like not onlycompeting with people that are
like trying to like put theirname in, but also like people
that just buy the tables.
So it could be a littlechallenging sometimes.
Um, the indoor first come, first serve tables those could

(37:29):
be a lot easier.
Um, some of them have chairsand some of them are just like
the high top tables.

Speaker 1 (37:34):
You just stand around and I'm sure it also depends on
the team.

Speaker 3 (37:39):
You know that you're gonna go see, depending on the
game yeah, but it's like it'sit's like kind of hard to like
get there early too because likethere's so much to see outside
of the stadium, like that youlike before you even get in
right, because like I mean, myum, like my, I think angel
stadium has the best home plategate right, so you want to like

(38:02):
take it all in before you walkin.
So there's that like element toit too, like before you even
get up there.
But yeah, I'm just planning, but I think like if you get
there right away or do two games, you can do that first.

Speaker 2 (38:20):
Yeah, yeah, I'm so excited to cross off a game
there next year.
I planned a weekend with you.
Was it sometime in June?
Oh no, it's for the Hawaiianshirt giveaway.
Oh yeah yeah, yeah, I loveHawaiian shirts.
I'll steal one for you.

Speaker 1 (38:38):
You don't understand.
I even have my own Durham BullsHawaiian shirt.

Speaker 2 (38:41):
Yeah, I love Hawaiian shirts.

Speaker 1 (38:44):
So cool.
I love that, oh yeah.

Speaker 3 (38:48):
You can have an extra one.
My husband will wear it.

Speaker 1 (38:53):
I have to wear them.
I can't wear them on my wife.
I was like you can wear it, notaround me, we're not going to
the same place.
That's awesome.
That's awesome.
That's cool.
I got to make it to Californiaone day.
One day, I'll make it there youdo.

Speaker 2 (39:10):
I was going to say if you're coming to Vegas next
year, ed, it's a four-hour roadtrip.
Y'all got to make the time.

Speaker 1 (39:17):
True story.
That is true.
It is four hours I've been toVegas.
I just never made it past that.

Speaker 3 (39:25):
What happened?
I was like you can fly home outof California.
You can get a rental car fromVegas, drop it off in California
and then fly out of here.

Speaker 1 (39:36):
See, now we're talking.

Speaker 2 (39:38):
Now we're talking.
Yes.

Speaker 1 (39:41):
You guys do this for a living on instagram, so there
it is no, seriously that'samazing um, but also at angel cm
.

Speaker 3 (39:50):
I do want to give some extra props on the food.
So there was a abeliaquesadilla that was um
introduced this year.
That was a big hit and that wasso good.
Um, and then you can get likeguacamole on it or like a big
hit and that was so good.
And then you can get guacamoleon it or a corn salsa.
And there was these shrimpDiablo shrimp tacos.
That were really good.
They were like fried shrimp.

(40:11):
Those were amazing.
And then you have to get thehelmet nachos, but you have to
share those with people becausethey're way too big.

Speaker 1 (40:19):
Do I have to?

Speaker 3 (40:21):
No, I was about to say you do, because then you
want to eat the rest of the food.

Speaker 1 (40:25):
Because I actually, when I went to Kansas City, they
had the I had the helmet nachosand I did not share with
anybody the brisket nachos.
It was yummy, yummy.

Speaker 3 (40:37):
Yeah, I got those too .
I was like barbecue sauce onnachos.
I don't know if I'm going tolike this and it worked.
It actually did.

Speaker 1 (40:46):
It did, didn't it?
I was like, okay, I still gotthe helmet somewhere around here
.
Actually, I still kept it.
I actually put a bunch ofbaseball on it, because I have
so many baseballs.

Speaker 3 (40:56):
Yeah, totally.

Speaker 2 (41:04):
I think, alex, you posted something a while ago
that and actually I don't knowif we're gonna do it this year,
but we had the plan I think Imessaged you about it how we
were gonna stay at that hotelthat you went to in St Louis.
That's literally right acrossthe sidewalk from Bush, and so I
just I love keeping up with, like the, the theme hotels, like
I think the rockies have one.
I've never been to, course, field beautiful ballpark yeah,

(41:25):
oh, my god, I can't wait.
Uh, I think the rockies have ahotel literally right in front
of the ballpark.
Obviously the rangers have onelows, but like the royals don't
have one because it's out in themiddle of nowhere, and so I
love seeing, like, how you shitput put those hotels that are
like.

Speaker 1 (41:42):
Cleveland.

Speaker 2 (41:43):
That almost partner with the stadium oh Cleveland
Nice.

Speaker 1 (41:48):
So with Cleveland, the cool thing is you have the
progressive field and you alsohave the cube, which is the
basketball arena.
They're all both right next toeach other, so, like you have
the parking, you have East 4thright there, so it's like good
places to go eat.
You have, uh, east fourth rightthere, so it's like good places
to go eat, you know as well.
And then there's plenty ofhotels nearby, so it's like they
have it all around that area.

(42:09):
And listen, a lot of peoplehate on cleveland, but cleveland
has actually made a big come upand you guys need to go check
that that ballpark out I'venever yeah I want to go oh nice
I haven't been to Cleveland orCincinnati.

Speaker 3 (42:22):
I mean, I think what I say is like the ones we have
left are the ones that areharder to get to.

Speaker 2 (42:29):
You've done 21 out of 30, right?
Wait, what did you say?
You've done 21 out of 30 so far.
No, we're at 23.
23.
What are the seven that?

Speaker 3 (42:40):
you have left.
So Cincinnati and Cleveland, the Brewers, the Braves and the
two Florida teams, and one more.
What am I missing?

Speaker 1 (42:55):
You might have a hard time with that oh.

Speaker 3 (42:57):
Pittsburgh, pittsburgh.

Speaker 1 (42:59):
Oh.

Speaker 3 (43:00):
I know, I really want to go to.

Speaker 1 (43:01):
Pittsburgh oh what a ballpark we're going to the Maya
weekend.

Speaker 2 (43:06):
Hopefully you can join us.
Well, not recently, but we hadRudy ballpark food guy on here
and he laid out the wholeitinerary for us, so we're ready
.

Speaker 1 (43:16):
That ballpark is legit.

Speaker 3 (43:20):
Yeah Well, I like.
So we don't like layovers, because I like hate to fly, so I
only want to be on an airplaneonce a day, and so you can't
like fly direct to pittsburghfrom anywhere in southern
california.
So it's like what are we like?
How are we going to get there?
So one of the thoughts is likewe can fly into cleveland and

(43:43):
then drive and then uh, two hourdrive, that's it, yeah.
So that was kind of one of thethings that we were that we're
planning, um, but then we haveto do cincinnati too, right,
because they're all like there.
Um, I mean, we even looked atlike leaving pittsburgh and
going to like atlanta, like tofly home.
We'll see Eventually.

Speaker 1 (44:04):
Cincinnati might as well be in Kentucky, though.

Speaker 2 (44:07):
Drive to Vegas, park your car here and then we all
just Uber to the airporttogether and then we can try
Cincinnati Chili or SkylineChili.
Finally, I'm so excited.

Speaker 3 (44:20):
What is it called Goodyear Stadiumrizona?
We had, we had skyline chilithere.
Stop, they have it.
Well, they had it like that.
That was one year we went, but Ihaven't gone back to when they
had concessions open, becausearizona fall league last year
year they don't have concessionsopen that much.

(44:42):
So we had, we didn't have itthere, but I'm like I don't know
.
I haven't heard anyone else saythat they've had it.
But yeah, it was like on ourhot dog, it was like a lot, it
was good.
But my father-in-law isoriginally from Cincinnati or

(45:03):
from Ohio, and he makesCincinnati chili at home.

Speaker 2 (45:07):
I'm so excited.
I'm so excited.

Speaker 1 (45:10):
I'm not a fan, I'm sorry.

Speaker 2 (45:11):
I'm sorry, I'm sorry.
Well, I know Goodyear is not onour itinerary for March, but I
will make that change.
I'll take out Sloan Park andadd in Goodyear, just to try it.

Speaker 1 (45:23):
Goodyear is a beautiful ballpark.

Speaker 2 (45:25):
It's a nice little ballpark.

Speaker 1 (45:27):
I've been to that one because of my Cleveland team.

Speaker 2 (45:31):
Because they share the ballpark.

Speaker 1 (45:32):
It's Cleveland and Cincinnati.
They share the same ballparkfor spring training.

Speaker 2 (45:37):
Oh, okay.
Well, Alex and I and a coupleof other friends, we're going to
spring training all in the sameweekend, and I told her tempe
has to be one that we go to.
Um, I really want to go back tocamelback because they have the
18 inch slice of pizza, but Idon't want to go in.
The dodgers are there and so Idon't know if we're going to do
that.
But I also really want to goback to sloan, which we did for

(45:58):
the Fall League.
It was my first time and so,but I might have to sacrifice
one of those.
Tell me how you feel about the.

Speaker 3 (46:08):
Dodgers.
I don't know if we have enoughtime for that.
All right, I think Sloan's myfavorite spring training
facility.
I mean, obviously I like Tempebecause it's like we go there
every year.
We've gone there for like 15years now.
So I love, I love like thehominess of of tempe.

(46:29):
But, um, I like sloan.
I think it it's like the iconicscoreboard and like it's just
like literally a mini wrigley.
It's crazy.

Speaker 2 (46:37):
So cute.
I hate that my team's springtraining facility is literally
an hour away from everything.

Speaker 1 (46:44):
So, far.
It's just like in the middle ofnowhere.

Speaker 3 (46:49):
I know it's really nice out there, but that's kind
of like how it is in a lot ofplaces in Arizona.
Once you get to where there'ssomething, it's really nice, but
until you get there, it's justlike's something.
It's really nice, but until youget there, it's just like it's
really not yeah, we were.

Speaker 2 (47:04):
I was.
I remember we got to the hotelfor the fall league and we got
to our hotel straight from theairport unpacked and everything
got ready, went downstairs for adrink and I catch a buzz pretty
easily.
My buzz was gone like, and itusually lasts me.
The drive was so long from ourhotel.
To surprise, my buzz wore offin the car.
I was so annoyed.
So I don't think we're gonna dothis or you didn't have a

(47:32):
strong enough drink true, maybetime to pound 10 when we get
there and yeah what happened?
I don't know.

Speaker 3 (47:37):
She is plastered in the trunk when we get there in
March.

Speaker 2 (47:40):
Yeah, what happened to Belle I?

Speaker 1 (47:40):
don't know.
She is plastered in the trunk.

Speaker 2 (47:44):
Yeah, no.
I'm so excited we're going todo Tempe.
It'll be my first time, so I'mso excited for Alex to show me
all the good things.
Is there anything like iconicas far as food in Tempe for
spring training that youremember?
I?

Speaker 3 (47:59):
mean they actually?
I mean they brought, theybrought in like the helmet
nachos, this like last year orthe year before that I never
used to really have those.
But I mean, I don't thinkreally I'm trying to remember I
don't think there was anythingthat I was like, oh, this is
special to this like place.
I know like Sloan has the wellto this like place.

(48:20):
I know like sloan has the?
Um.
Well, we went to like a desertinvitational game before spring
training started last year andthey had all of the condiments
for chicago dog, like the relish, like mini pickles and all that
kind of stuff, like the onionsum out.
So that's cool there.
And then obviously the cincinnChili, if they have that at the

(48:42):
Guardian Stadium but at Goodyearballpark.
But I don't think Tempe hasanything.

Speaker 2 (48:50):
Why did I forget?
Goodyear is home to theGuardians.

Speaker 1 (48:55):
It is.

Speaker 2 (48:56):
Why did I forget that ?
I don't know.
Why am I thinking?

Speaker 1 (48:59):
And the Reds.

Speaker 2 (48:59):
Oh, that's in Peoria.
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (49:01):
It is.
Why did I?

Speaker 2 (49:01):
forget that I don't know why am I thinking On the
Reds?
Mariners Padres.
Oh, that's in Peoria.
Okay, Well, I'm going to do myresearch now.

Speaker 1 (49:06):
Yeah, so like a lot of spring training facilities
now, like it's like the middleis going to be your like the
actual ballpark, and thenopposite of each other there's
the facilities for each of theteams.
Also, it is in Goodyear.
So they just share different, they just share the ballpark,
that's it.

Speaker 2 (49:26):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (49:26):
Pretty cool actually.

Speaker 2 (49:28):
Well, time to do some research.
And if they have the SkylineChili, then I'm sorry to Sloan
Park.

Speaker 3 (49:34):
Yeah, we'll have to find out.
We can reach out and ask them.
Oh yeah, if they still have it.

Speaker 1 (49:42):
For sure, for sure, for sure.
I love it.
Is there anything?
We haven't asked you, alex, because here's the part that
we're about to do again.
Val, we missed this again.

Speaker 2 (49:49):
We know we always forget to give the warning we
didn't give her a warning onthis one.

Speaker 1 (49:55):
So here's what we do, alex, okay, what we do at the
end of the episode here.
That's where we ask you allthese easy questions.
Right, these are the easyquestions we've already asked.
Here comes the hard ones, okay,so, and let me look for my
cards.
I have them somewhere aroundhere but what we do is we ask
you some random questions, right?
Just sort of get to know alittle bit about you.

(50:17):
For example, the one questionthat we would ask, and I'm going
to ask you now, is, out of all,the Disney princess, who would
make the best spy?

Speaker 3 (50:32):
Princesses or the prince.

Speaker 1 (50:34):
No, princesses Female oh princesses the best spy.

Speaker 3 (50:43):
Why is it so hard?
Well, I was gonna say probablylike, um, like elsa, right,
because then she'll just likefreeze, she'll just freeze
everybody yeah, hey, that's agood one, elsa, I haven't heard
that one elsa

Speaker 1 (51:01):
yeah we haven't heard .
I haven't heard that one.

Speaker 2 (51:03):
I'm gonna go with.

Speaker 1 (51:04):
Elsa, I like it, I like it all.
Right, you have to choose.
Well, here's a.
Here's the one question I,technically this is the one I
ask everybody.
So you're going to Angel'sBallpark, okay, what is Okay?
What is your food and yourdrink of choice?
Um, okay, so I?

Speaker 3 (51:31):
well, it depends on what the um hot dog of the stand
that the homestand is.
So I might do that, but I'dprobably go for a um like a
beauty at quesadilla and um, ohwait, no, no, sorry.
I would go downstairs to larotisserie and get the
rotisserie chicken sandwich, like full of chicken, and then I

(51:53):
would get the salsa quemada ontop and like this garlic aioli.
Um, so that is what I would get, and then I would get um, a
halo ipa um from brewery a haloipa I love when when um team.

Speaker 2 (52:14):
I don't drink beer but I love when team's name of
the beer after the team like theball.
Las Vegas ballpark has theaviator ale and I just I love it
.

Speaker 3 (52:23):
Yeah, yeah.

Speaker 1 (52:27):
Our good friend Donnie would actually like this
answer about the IPA.
He actually he's a big, massiveIPA fan, so he would want to
try that Shout out to the mayor.
All right, so I have the mayor, alright, so I have a question
for you, alex.
Okay, you're walking down thestreet, right, you're hanging
out.
Nothing crazy, everything isall normal, everything right.

(52:49):
And then it's just you byyourself.
But on the ground, right thereto your right, you see $10,000.
Okay, now, these $10,000, youdid your due diligence, you were
a good citizen.
Hey, is this anybody's?
This is, does this belong toanybody?
You try to turn it in, but itis yours.

(53:10):
It is yours to keep alec.
What is the first thing you buy?
oh my gosh um I told you thesewere going to be very hard
questions.

Speaker 3 (53:24):
Maybe like some plane tickets.

Speaker 1 (53:27):
Okay, so if you're buying the plane tickets, where
are you going?

Speaker 3 (53:32):
Maybe to Cleveland, Pittsburgh, Cincinnati.

Speaker 1 (53:36):
Now we're talking because we're hanging out, we're
doing the, we're doing the allthree ballparks.

Speaker 3 (53:40):
let's go, we're doing it all may or maybe to maybe
the tampa, miami and then disneyworld you might want to wait
for the tampa one.

Speaker 1 (53:48):
Just you know it is out of order, right?

Speaker 3 (53:50):
now yeah I like to say that out of order, uh yeah,
I mean, we were waiting till itwas worth it for my son to like
enjoy disney world, you know.
So then it's now.
We have to wait a little bitlonger.

Speaker 1 (54:02):
I got you, I got you.
Uh, okay.
So out of all of the animals inthe animal kingdom, which
animal do you think would be thebiggest party animal?

Speaker 3 (54:18):
The rally monkey.

Speaker 1 (54:21):
Okay, all right.
Okay, all right.
I see what you did there, okay.

Speaker 2 (54:26):
Considering the fact that the party monkey's mascot
is a monkey, that's perfect.

Speaker 1 (54:31):
Well, rally monkey, I like it.
Okay, okay, I see you.
I see you.
All right.
So then, out of all again, allof the animals in the animal
kingdom, who is the biggest inpart of my language?
Who is the biggest a-hole?

Speaker 2 (54:52):
Gosh, I don't know.

Speaker 1 (54:54):
It's a good question Again.
Listen, you come here.
You know you want to.
You were talking about.
You know what you do andeverything on you were talking
about.
You know what you do andeverything on instagram and you
know those.
You think those are hard.
Cats are assholes.

Speaker 3 (55:05):
I'll agree 100 there I was like petting my friend's
cat one time and like the catwas like enjoying it and I'm
just like petting it and itscratches me like it got like
bored or something like yeahthey're dicks.

Speaker 1 (55:18):
That's why like what?
Yeah, exactly yeah they'redicks, I'll say it.
If you don't say I'll do it,it's okay.
Also, I'm super allergic tothem, so I can't definitely
doesn't want them around no, Ican't, you know.
Uh, all right.
Last, last question Would yourather go on a cruise to Alaska,

(55:42):
all right, and then just spentthe whole week doing whatever
you got to do, no thing, or gocamping in the middle of nowhere
with no Alaska?

Speaker 3 (55:53):
I hate camping, I could do no cell service.
I was in Cuba for a week oncewith no phone Like I could do no
cell service.
I was in Cuba for a week oncewith no phone Like I could do no
cell service.
I am not doing camping.
I don't understand why peoplewant to pay to live in a tent.

Speaker 1 (56:10):
I love camping.
Camping is fun.

Speaker 3 (56:13):
I mean it's like on my mom list, like things like I
never thought I'd do unless Iwas a mom.
Right, like camping fishing.
Halloween.

Speaker 1 (56:21):
Oh yeah, I mean, those are the things you got to
do.
I mean, that's how it goes.
I went camping a couple ofmonths ago and I actually stayed
up all night making sure thatmy daughter was actually warm,
because my little angel decidedthat she didn't want to be under
the bedsheets when it was supercold outside.

(56:43):
I'm like, daddy, I was hot.
And I'm like, no, you weren't,because I was watching you.

Speaker 3 (56:49):
Yeah, but anyways my jam.

Speaker 1 (56:53):
Alex, thank you so much for doing this.
This was a lot of fun.

Speaker 3 (56:56):
This was really fun.
Thank you, guys for inviting me.
Oh this was great.

Speaker 2 (57:00):
I learned so much about the wedding process.

Speaker 1 (57:04):
You know she's going to reach out to you, right?
You know she's going to be likeyeah.

Speaker 3 (57:09):
I'm actually going to post soon all the details.
I posted it and then I removedit because I forgot one picture.
I'm going to post it soon.
If you have any questions onthat, I can definitely tell you
where I got everything.

Speaker 2 (57:22):
Yeah there it is no, but you know also, I learned so
much about just like angelstadium it's.
I feel like it's such a gem.
People don't really have ithigh up on their list because
underrated because, I'll behonest, yeah, I'm not really
everybody's like.

Speaker 1 (57:37):
Oh, that's okay, you know like, but I haven't really
heard much about angel stadium,to be honest with you, yeah.

Speaker 3 (57:42):
So I mean it's true, like I know we're like getting
ready to wind down, but likeit's like the inside of it
there's like really not a wholelot of like.
You know it's not really likeall that special inside, like
what it's cool, like you couldsee, like like most of us still
call it the pond, but like thehonda center crossway where the
ducks play, there's like thishuge arch.
That's like the train station.

(58:03):
You can get to it by train, um,but there's like a lot of like
the inside of it like could usesome work, like I'd love to see
a playground in there, like that, but there's just like a lot of
things that need some work.
But if you look at it on theoutside like we I think we have
the best home plate gate likethere's, you know, like there's
like literally like bases andlike a pitching mound, like in

(58:24):
the like right in the front, those two huge hats, like the
new era hats are like 649 and ahalf size, and then you can
trace back the opening daylineup, um, like for years, like
in like the front, becausethere's all these bricks that
have like the names of thestarting lineup.
So there's all these like littlethings like what I really I

(58:46):
didn't like know was there wasthese like handprints from, like
um, like some angels grace.
I'm like where did these?
Where, what do these mean?
Like bobby gritch and like jimfragosi, like their handprints
are there.
So it's just like a lot of likelittle nuggets, but it's home,
it's cozy.

Speaker 2 (59:05):
I think this part is when you're on the five and you
can see that big A.
That is my favorite part.

Speaker 3 (59:12):
Yeah, that is cool.
And now it used to be evencooler because they would only
light up the halo when theangels won.
But now it's like lit all thetime, but like maybe you miss
the game and you're driving homeand you're like, oh, it's lit,
so they won.
But like no, they didn't timeyeah, I know, but my friend was
like I used to hate that becauseI'd like want to go home and

(59:33):
watch the game that I dvr andI'm like who?

Speaker 2 (59:36):
like not to find out the score yeah yeah, I get that,
I get that we'll have to geteveryone ed out, out, out to
anaheim soon and just do like abig head to cali yes I'm okay
with that.

Speaker 1 (59:52):
I'm totally okay.
I've always wanted to go tocalifornia, so yes, we'll talk
to your wife, yeah oh I'm, she'snot gonna say say no to that.
So we're good there, we'regolden there.
So, alex, thank you so much, and where can people find you on
the socials?

Speaker 3 (01:00:08):
Yeah, so my Instagram is tumble travels and I'm on
threads tumble travels as well, and that's it All right.

Speaker 1 (01:00:19):
Perfect.
Well, thank you so much andmake sure that you guys catch.
You know, obviously my cutholes and myself were as well on
all the socials.
Are you on blue sky now, by theway?

Speaker 2 (01:00:29):

I need to learn how to use itmore.

Speaker 1 (01:00:32):
I got you.
I got you and then make surethat you guys show up.
You know, every Tuesday andThursday, 9.
Pm, eastern time, the dad hadchronicle sports show where we
can talk all sports and thenpossibly maybe I don't know have
Val there and talk some of herconspiracy theories.
I don't know.

Speaker 2 (01:00:50):
That's kind of good it's blocked.

Speaker 1 (01:00:52):
Make sure you bring your tinfoil hats, cause it's
going to be fun.
It'll be so fun It'll be so fun, we'll see you guys.
