As well as updating you on my writing progress, I read a short story that I wrote in 20 minutes at a new writing workshop that I have joined in my hometown…

Also, despite what I said in the podcast, there will be an episode tomorrow… When I recorded it I forgot that I had promised to do an episode every day in June. Oops.

I celebrate signing off five chapters today, meaning I should easily hit my target of completing the remaining four by the end of Sunday the 18th! Go me!

I’ve done screen sign off of nine chapters during my time away, can I get those signed off fully on paper before I go back to work on the 19th? It’s a challenge. Plus I get all shy when attempting to describe a newly added vaguely sexual moment in one of those chapters, I can’t even say it here without getting embarrassed!

It’s the final day of my short holiday to Phoenix today, I reflect on my time here, the writing I got done, and what writing I need to do when I get home tomorrow…

I’ll tell you about the graduation ceremony that I was expecting to attend today, as well as the one I wasn’t expecting to attend. I also tell you about something rather lovely that happened at the first one.
