Speaker 1 (00:00):
Hello, we are live.
How are we all?
Welcome in.
I have got a few differentthings going on here.
We're recording live over inGoogle Meet, we have my podcast
set up over there and now we'relive on Instagram.
So welcome in.
And I've got another one heretoo.
So if I'm jotting around, that'skind of why, but I'm so, so, so

(00:22):
keen and really just I know, Ijust it just feels right to come
on today and to speak with youall.
It's so, so exciting, somethingthat I've been kind of working
on for almost I guess you wantto say 18 months from trial and
error of just different things.
And yes, hello, yes, we've gota few people in here.
Hey, mate, mate, you're sowelcome.

(00:43):
I think it was Xavier.
Hey, xavier, yes, please, asmuch as you can, wave comment.
If you have questions aboutwhat I'm about to share as well,
please don't be afraid to dothat too.
So, even if you're watching thereplay, comment in, and it's
just awesome to be with you all.
So, thank you so much forshowing up and for being on live
.
It's awesome to see you allhere and I just, yeah, as I was

(01:05):
kind of like planning this live,it's not going to be too long,
like 30 minutes max.
I just want to give you theexact things that you need to
know.
I want to share a little bitabout my story and how this kind
of came to be and why I thinkit's just going to be a really,
really useful tool, powerfultool that you can take into 2025
.
But yes, as I was planning thislive, I actually realized

(01:26):
something pretty, pretty amazing.
It's almost been a year since Ilaunched the dive podcast.
I've got my podcast set up overhere, if you're watching, and
in that time, we've actually haddownloaded or someone has gone
on and clicked and listened toan episode 7,883 times across 52

(01:49):
countries and 290 cities in thepast year and it just like when
I see it like that, I'm likewhat.
There's seven, nearly 8,000people that have been listening
to the episodes and been gettingvalue and feeling inspired and
taking the things that we'vebeen speaking about to integrate
into your careers.
It's just been really, reallyawesome and, honestly, it's what

(02:11):
lights me up and makes me wantto just create more things for
this community, because I havealways believed that we are all
facing the same things.
We're wanting to get into theindustry and even if you are in
the industry, there's so manychallenges when you even get in
and I think the moreconversations that we can have
around it and the kind of thewalls that we can just break

(02:34):
down and just showing up andknowing that we don't have to
have it all figured out becauseyou know what, guess what we
actually don't, no one does, andI think we get, we have more
conversations like this, I thinkit's just going to and I know
it is going to just help us allfeel a little bit more chilled
and relaxed, because it is acrazy industry to be a part of.
It's so wonderful, but I thinkwhen we don't communicate and we

(02:56):
don't show up as a community, that's where it can get a bit
overwhelming.
So thank you everyone who'sbeen an avid listener of those
that nearly 8,000 we actuallyhad.
4,000 out of the nearly 8,000downloads come from Melbourne
too.
Amber, she's on.
I'm just seeing her run jump insome of my best friends hello,
my darlings.
So good, okay.

(03:18):
So let's get into it.
It's December 15th and Iactually just can't believe it's
only a couple weeks away fromthe new year.
I actually really love December, but besides the point it's, I
think it's always a reallypowerful and beautiful time to
just take a step back to reflecton where you've been and really

(03:38):
just start setting yourself upfor the success and setting
yourself up for what you kind ofwant to bring into the new year
.
And today I really want to helpyou and guide you towards
something that can really helpyou go into the new year and
bring that into fruition.
So by the end of this live, orthis episode, you'll not only
feel a little bit more inspired,a little bit more clear about

(03:59):
your next steps, but you'll alsolearn how to join a
transformational community thatI've been putting together that
is just going to really help youfeel supported every step of
the way from 2025 and beyond.
So let me just share a quicklittle backstory.
So then, before I share withyou exactly what it is, but
after wrapping up the year, I'vealso done a lot of reflecting

(04:19):
on my own journey in this pastyear and just really how far
I've come since graduating andnow been working, and, honestly,
what I've been able to learn is, through this, to be able to
sustain a long and healthycareer in the arts wild.
It actually doesn't allnecessarily come down to talent.
Talent will get you in the door, but how to sustain it over a

(04:42):
long period of time comes downto how well you're looking after
yourself and the people thatyou surround yourself with.
So you can put them into twocategories mindset and a
community.
And I truly believe when you'vegot a supportive community
around you and you have a strongmindset one that's uh, depth
and dip dipped in self-, thenyou're able to just take on this

(05:05):
mammoth role of an artist alittle bit easier.
So let's go back for a secondwhen I actually graduated
full-time from Patrick's Schoolof the Arts.
I graduated halfway between mysecond year.
I was so excited and at thetime I actually had a show.
But before that I was reallydriven and maybe you are on here

(05:26):
too, a driven performer.
You know you want to have acareer in the arts.
You know this is what you wantto do.
I was the same and I actuallyjust didn't know where I was
going.
I think I wanted to be acontemporary dancer in Europe
and it wasn't until my one of mybeautiful mentors, todd Patrick
, actually, oh, am I here?
Have I come back off?
Oh yeah, I just came out for asec.

(05:47):
Todd Patrick actually came tome and he was kind of like no,
this is what you need to bedoing.
I actually remember the daybecause I think I said to
another teacher oh, I'm going toEurope and stuff, and she ended
up telling Todd, and Todd waslike you told her that you're so
silly anyway, cut long short.
He really knew where I was as aperson.

(06:08):
I really didn't have or grow upwith, you know, an abundance of
finances.
Especially when you're aperformer and you're doing solos
and all that stuff, it can theprice can jump up.
Anyway, I basically didn't havethe funds to go and live my
dream as a contemporary dancerin Europe, and what he wanted to

(06:30):
help me with is to build acareer that I can start earning
money from and start to becomethat independent version of
myself which I was able to donow and I'm so happy.
I leaned on his guidance andthat mentorship and it was from
that that I can kind of likejust suddenly say how grateful I
am, because it's been 10 yearsand I've been working
professionally in musicaltheatre and it's honestly just

(06:51):
been amazing, such a wild ride.
It's such a wild ride and Iactually did a contemporary show
in there in and around, so it'sall kind of like ticked its box
along the way.
But, like many of you and I, weall have had ups and downs, but
I always put my my.
The sustainability which I'mreally, really passionate about,
about creating a career thatyou love, all comes down to

(07:11):
those two things your mindset, how well you're looking after
yourself, and the community thatyou have around you.
So that is exactly why I wantto announce today that I'm
launching a community, an onlinecommunity, that is only free
for a few months, because Iwanted to A give everyone access

(07:31):
to just jump in while it's hot,but then after some time, it's
actually going to turn into apaid membership, and so let me
give you an explanation of whatit all is.
Yay Saying all the comments inhere, beautiful people.
So that's why I've createdsomething called the Performer's
Mindset Hub.
So I want to give you the toolsand the guidance and the

(07:54):
community I wish I kind of hadwhen I started and give that all
to you now.
So what exactly is this mindsethub and what is it?
In Intel?
So it's super interactive.
I wanted this to not be justanother course or another
Facebook group.
This is going to be a communitydriven space built on a
platform called school, and it'swhere performers can come, you

(08:18):
can connect, you can grow andyou can just feel inspired by
the people around you.
Here we are.
I've got all my things set upand things keep jumping in and
out.
So, yes, but what makes thisreally really fun and really
really enjoyable is that it'salso got this really active
gamified experience where youcan actually get rewarded for

(08:39):
showing up and for doing thework.
Now I know I spoke a little bitabout mindset and community, but
I also want to let you know andI'm a big advocate of this at
the end of the day, if you don'tput in the work, nothing's
going to happen right, but ifyou don't have a community
around you and you don't have astrong mindset, it's really hard
to take those action steps.
So it's my hope that we cankind of bridge the gap between

(09:02):
you wanting to take the actionsteps and maybe doubting
yourself, and then having thiscommunity just flood and support
you so that you can feel braveto go and take that next step.
So I will share a link with allthe details after this.
If you actually comment mindsetto this live, once it's
published, I will send youexactly the ways to be involved,
but, yes, let me give you anexplanation of the exact things

(09:26):
that you can expect inside.
So, as I said, it's got agamification element to it, so
this is really super interactive.
You can ask questions on theplatform, you can share your
wins with the community, you cancelebrate others and what you
do.
When you actually do that, youearn points, and these points
can actually unlock differentresources, masterclasses, yoga

(09:47):
flows, advanced content and evenextra bonuses of masterclasses
and mentoring opportunitiesinside the platform.
So how cool is that?
The more that we actually showup for each other, you can also
get rewarded as well.
So, yes, come on points.
That's it.
So it's going to be a super funway to connect as a community
online and something you canjust go to.

(10:08):
You know, for example, if youjust come out of an audition and
maybe you didn't have the bestpoint, you uh best um moment,
you can actually go inside thehub and ask a question.
There's actually a section inthere where you can jot in,
share your audition experience,so you can actually write in
your audition experience thereand have everyone kind of
support you in that way.
There's a community page andthat's going to be the kind of

(10:31):
heart of the hub, and you canconnect with other performers
navigating the same journey.
Like I said, ask for advice, you can.
It's really, really awesomeplatform to use because it's
very, very simplistic, it's veryeasy to see.
You can get it as an app onyour phone.
You don't need to be on yourlaptop.
Everything is very, veryaccessible.
I want you to think highlyaccessible, very simple to

(10:53):
navigate even if it's a newplatform you've not used before
and super, super encouraging tocontinue in the platform too.
So we'll be doing some live qa's in there as well, and in the
future, we'll be doing monthlyq a's with industry experts as
well.
That's when it will end upturning to a paid membership,
and so let me just talk on thatfor a second.
Imagine this you get in rightnow, you sign up for free, and

(11:17):
then you get it for free forlife.
That would be pretty cool,right?
So what I'm actually doing forthe first two months of this
actually launching this is goingto be a completely free
community that you can come into.
So bring your friends, yourdogs, your family, everyone to
sign up and you're just going tostay inside and then once it
actually ticks over to a paidcommunity, anyone that comes in

(11:38):
after that will need to pay.
So if you're wanting to lock inthat free for life, then you've
got to kind of jump in and beinvolved and all you need to do
is just stay inside the groupand you get all the access for
free.
I'm literally like I don't knowhow I'm giving this away for
free, but I do know why.
I just want to make kind ofmindset sexy again.
I want to make community andinvolvement and just showing up

(12:01):
and speaking your truth actuallyaccessible and I want to be a
person that is not kind ofhiding behind the vibe of
musical theater and just likeliving my own life and you know
there's no problem with that.
But I just always want to kindof push the envelope a little
bit and actually really justtake us all out as humans and
make us all really connectedwith each other and kind of talk

(12:22):
about the things that reallymatter, which is know, your
health and, like I said, themindset in the community.
So let me just yeah, that'skind of like essentially what it
is.
I know I don't want to go onfor like ever and ever, but it
is an online community you canjoin into.
There's so many other wonderfulthings in there.
Let me have a little look here.
I can't show you on liveexactly what it all is.

(12:44):
We have what you can do.
As soon as you sign up, there'sa video on exactly how to get
started, how to navigate theportal.
So if you've never heard ofthis portal before, you can
absolutely go in and do allunderstand it all.
I've got videos.
I've got everything kind oflike sorted out so you don't
have to think about oh, how do Ieven use it?
You are going to be super, super taken care of.
As soon as you sign up, you'llget an email from me explaining

(13:05):
it all.
There's a five-day mindsetchallenge in there, already
ready to go.
We actually ran this in junethis year, 2024 and it's got all
of the classes recorded inthere.
It's given a breakdown of eachof the classes you can go into.
You can take it at your ownpace.
I've got pdfs.
I've got an audition preptoolkit.
We've got pre and post auditionyoga flows in there, meditation

(13:29):
, breath work and so much more.
I've got so many bonuses inthere and it's all just gonna be
accessible at the palm of yourhand.
Think about this.
You're about to go into anaudition and maybe you're just
like freaking out and you'relike, oh my God, how do I
actually do?
How do I, how can I calm thesenerves?
All you need to do is join intothe platform, either share it
with the community so we cansupport you, or go into one of

(13:50):
the breathwork sessions to helpcalm the nerves and set you up
for success.
This is just one and a bunch ofmany things that you're going
to find in this community, andI'm really, really proud of it.
I'm really proud that we'reable to build this as a

(14:11):
community.
I've always wanted to lead withthis as a community and make it
community-based.
How many times have I saidcommunity?
But I just want to make surethat anything I ever, ever
publish is actually going tobenefit people and it's built
from all of you.
I speak to so many of you outthere that are students.
I work with you one-to-one andI've made sure that everything
you've kind of been goingthrough navigating has been
answered.
In this free Performer's MindsetHub.

(14:33):
There's unlockable features,like I mentioned just as I
finish up, some things that youcan unlock at different levels
depending on how much youactivate your, how much you
activate no, how much you areincluded into the community.
So how much you comment, youshow up you like, you interact
with other people.
By earning these points, youcan unlock things like 14 extra

(14:55):
yoga flows.
You can get a one-hour soundbath by me that I've created.
I've also created a seven-dayworkshop you can unlock that
helps you go from student to proin seven days and even all the
way up to a free self-tape auditand even four one-to-one
mentoring calls, which is valuedat a thousand dollars.

(15:17):
So there's so many amazingthings to help you kind of
interact with the community, toget involved with.
There's so much things alreadyout there for free that I should
probably already lock, but it'sall out there for you ready to
take a hold of.
So let's just take a littlebreath for a moment.
I'm so excited that we'reheading into 2025.

(15:37):
And if, yeah, let me know howyou're all feeling about that.
Comment below, even if you'rewatching the replay.
It's really a really specialtime and I'm so proud that we've
been able to create this kindof together as well.
I'm going to be havingcommunity-led speakers on there,
so there's going to beopportunities for you to also
come on live and share eithersome knowledge, things that

(15:59):
you've been learning in theindustry, and maybe even your
audition experiences too.
So let's just do a quick recapas we finish this quick episode.
We talked about the power ofmindset and how I was able to
really use mindset and asupportive community to really
help build the sustainabilitythat I've been searching for and
looking for for the past 10plus years, and I feel like I

(16:22):
really found that balance andnow I just want to gift it all.
It's just kind of like thiscommunity hub has been like my
gift to the community, and Ishared how this mindset hub the
Performer's Mindset Hub is goingto be a space where you can
grow, you can connect and stayinspired.
You've learned the gamification, all the things that you can

Are You A Charlotte?

In 1997, actress Kristin Davis’ life was forever changed when she took on the role of Charlotte York in Sex and the City. As we watched Carrie, Samantha, Miranda and Charlotte navigate relationships in NYC, the show helped push once unacceptable conversation topics out of the shadows and altered the narrative around women and sex. We all saw ourselves in them as they searched for fulfillment in life, sex and friendships. Now, Kristin Davis wants to connect with you, the fans, and share untold stories and all the behind the scenes. Together, with Kristin and special guests, what will begin with Sex and the City will evolve into talks about themes that are still so relevant today.
