Two student groups from my class take center stage to present thought-provoking conversations that reflect their curiosity and creativity.
First up, Snaptech dives into the fascinating intersection of AI and psychology. Through a unique and engaging skit, they explore the question: "Will AI one day serve as therapists and psychologists?" This imaginative discussion brings forward some of the ethical, social, and technological challenges and possibilities of AI-driven mental health support.
Next, Tech Unplugged takes us on a journey into the future of medical technology, focusing on Neuralink. This group unpacks how the groundbreaking brain-implant technology hopes to restore mobility to paralyzed patients by stimulating neural activity. They explore the possibilities of controlling devices with thoughts and discuss how science fiction is rapidly becoming a reality.
As educators, we often talk about the importance of giving students a platform to share their ideas and take the lead in discussions that matter to them.
