Trump's battles in the courts are leading to important wins, but primarily on process. In the Birthright Citizenship case (Trump v CASA), the Supreme Court shut down those nationwide injunctions. Now the issues can percolate through the Courts in proper order.

Every case against Trump is in the "process" stage. Not one of them has actually reached the "merits" stage, where a court looks at the facts and the law together. All of the "restraining orders" and "injunctions" are based on first impressions. 

We tend to think about lawsuits in the sense of who's right. That's merits. But before the court can even think about the merits, it has to go through the process of keeping both sides inside the lines.

Elizabeth Warren may think that we don't have a right to know what the government spend our hard-earned dollars on, but she's dead wrong. There is language in our foundational document that tells us we have an absolute right to that information. 

We don't need to worry about how the court cases will turn out.

In other courts, we should expect a different answer. Ultimately the Supreme Court will make the decision.

It's easy to see the causes of the LA fires, if you are willing to follow the critical incident chain. Governor Hair Gel wants us to blame global warming, which isn't hot enough to start fires. There are multiple causes for the fires and the inability to fight them. Every cause points a finger directly at Democrat governance.

Because Trump has a big win in the Georgia case, you won't hear about it from any of the usual talking head. We break it down. Also, we consider the Biden drilling ban. Finally, the idiocy of the FBI management of the New Orleans and Las Vegas events gets a glancing view.

We have 100k overdose deaths each year in the US. The media breathlessly declares them to be a result of fentanyl, which "is deadly." Nothing could be farther from the truth. Those deaths are unnecessary, but fully predictable, economic effects of drug prohibition.

The Biden pardon flap is magnifying. With pre-emptive pardons for various bad actors, one has to ask what they're trying to hide. And their attacks on Pete Hegseth and RFK Jr add to the picture. These people will take away their places to hide.

We should give thanks without ceasing, but seem to focus at this time of year. I am thankful, but not in the tailgate, football, and loud family event style. 

The people who are screaming about Matt Gaetz and Pete Hegseth tell us all we need to know. They're the right men for their jobs.
