Ep. 115: Who is Ben Reilly? part 1, What Was the Clone Saga?

The Clone Saga is perhaps the most infamous Spider-Man story, and not without good reason. It was loved and hated. Great and terrible. Important and irrelevant. It lasted 3 years, redefined Spidey for a new generation of readers, and ruined him for others. It happened during a tumultuous time in the comics industry as a whole (the boom and bust of the 90's) as well as at Marvel comics (3 EIC's in 3 years!) In this episode, Searnold and Zach will break down the history of Spider-Man's clone, Ben Reilly, his original creation in 1975 and why the 90's was the right time to bring him back!
