(00:00):
So the other day I was watching Casper the friendly ghost with my wife it had been a minute since I've seen that movie

(00:09):
Do you remember that movie? I do remember that movie. I remember it very well
Oh, it was so cheesy there were parts of it where I was just going man
This is like a fever dream like I'm just like wow and then the part where like she was like
Yeah, I'm gonna let you be a real boy and it's like until 10 o'clock and I was looking I was like at
Most it was probably nine o'clock before they got all that stuff done. So he really only only had an hour

(00:32):
I would have been like nah, I'm good, bro, and then I'll laugh when he came when they finally showed his face
I was like, haha, I started roasting him
But yeah, that movie is cheesy is cheesy and then like have you noticed some of the story lines?
like I know it's written towards kids and Casper's is this way, but isn't this way
but like we were my wife and I were watching Scooby-Doo the other day and

(00:53):
There was some of the stuff in there. I was going man. We're teaching our kids some bad stuff with this
One it's like there was a professor in this one and he was like yeah
My lab is because they're supposed to be like California or whatever, right?
And he's like, oh, yeah, my labs in Massachusetts like let's all pile into your van and go to Massachusetts

(01:14):
I'm like we're talking about taking minors across state lines
We're talking about taking a group of minors across state lines, but I don't know about you dude, but
It's kind of interesting
I used to get scared by some of the Scooby-Doo characters back then like some of the villains and things like even though it was a
Cartoon like sometimes I'd get a little freaked out by them. I don't know about you
Which one scared you was it Jeepers Creepers? You're gonna laugh. No, you know what it was

(01:38):
It was the it was the sea monster that always came out the lagoon
And then there was also
For some reason it was always like the ones coming out the water like there was like the Scooby-Doo that like glowed
Like I don't know why he freaked me out
I think it was like the sound effects to like they had like the noise and I don't know used to freak me out and then

(01:59):
I
Don't know there were some of those movies back then I don't know you probably weren't allowed to watch this
But did you ever watch any of the goosebumps?
Series like the VHS tapes or anything. I read the books, but I never watched the watch the show
I read the books though
So I watched the show and I remember the show like I don't remember what episode I watched

(02:21):
It was like a werewolf one or something and I remember it scared the bejesus out of me
And then I saw I saw when I was an adult and I was like man
This was cheesy as mess like it wasn't scary at all and it was it was actually really goofy like I laughed really hard
I was like man. I got scared at that. I don't I don't know
Maybe it's just because the effects were you know, that was good effects for the time and now it's not so much

(02:44):
But it was just kind of funny. It's spooky season and I'm Chris and I'm like a and this is the
Dona box podcast
Well Christopher we are on episode
150 dude, we've been doing this for 150 weeks straight. That's pretty wild
And we just getting started man

(03:04):
It's crazy to think that and we'll kind of talk more about this when we do our own special
Three-year anniversary episode here in a few weeks, but what are maybe some parts where you're like hey
I've seen the show change this way or maybe some of your favorite parts of doing the show
150 episodes in well, I mean
The entire intent kind of changed a little bit. Yeah

(03:27):
We had the show and everything and but you know
just the fact that we had a website at one point and
We kind of had a vision for that and it went a totally different direction than what we were thinking it was going to go
With the emergence of a lot of free
streaming services out there we wanted to create one when there really wasn't one out there and

(03:48):
So it was like we kind of had that and then we moved to more of like I think it's even the side items like
You know we move more to the social media side to like the YouTube side even like introduced like aviation stuff to it
but not
necessarily introduced that into the podcast a ton and
Like we've tried a few different things and I think that when it comes to us and

(04:13):
Doing this. I mean even talking about having the structure and then now we're doing free flows sometimes. I
Think that's a big difference and you know
There's a lot of aspects that I've enjoyed about what we've done in the past, but I'm really happy with where we're at
Here and going forward like I'm really happy with it
I think the I think the show hasn't evolved as we has a we have evolved as people so like I can see kind of our growth from

(04:41):
The first episode as people now to like all the other side not saying we've made it or we've arrived
But I see the show like evolving
I think we've just changed and been like, you know what this works really well
And I'm really glad that we have tried things out of the box and not been like, yeah
We're just only gonna stick to this format every single week. I love that we have tried new things

(05:01):
So yeah, absolutely. It's it's for us and you know, this show is really about our like we enjoy doing this sort of thing
but at the same time we also understand that
We've been on the receiving end of having something that's been mundane and you know doesn't change
So it's definitely something we want to keep fresh all the time. So man

(05:22):
We got a great hundred and fiftieth episode in store
We got a ton to talk about what where do you want to start with this thing?
We can start. I mean this episode is kind of our free flow a hundred and fiftieth
We're gonna make it special
So we're gonna talk about some things that we love hobbies that we love
Just kind of things that we are kind of current on

(05:43):
As you guys know, I'm big into wrestling love WWE and you know what really fries my doughnuts and this is not that segment
But people always when I tell them that the first thing they tell to tell me is you know, it's fake, right?
I'm like, really it's fake
What?
No, I'm just kidding. I'm very facetious, but I enjoy it's entertaining. It's a story for me

(06:06):
I really when I put on wrestling it allows me to three hours every week to just not think about my worries or think about
My responsibilities are what I have to do and so as we're recording this bad blood, which is the next WWE
They don't call them pay-per-views anymore. They call them premium live events
And they do one a month usually and that is going to be

(06:30):
Playing this weekend, of course, you we know that when we release when we release this this is a Monday
But it happened over the weekend
so I'm gonna go over kind of the card and
Give you Michael some backstory because Micah has watched a little bit of wrestling with me and
Micah tolerates it and it's okay. So yeah, it's not that I don't

(06:54):
It's not that I don't like wrestling is just
It's just not my it's not my favorite thing, but at the same time
I will say this there are some story lines that I could gravitate to and after talking with Chris
Then we got another buddy Adrian that we talked to or that I talked to about wrestling as well
you know, there's some story lines that are actually interesting and you know one of the things that

(07:18):
I'd be interested in talking with Chris about another episode at a different point is like
What he would do for certain story lines because I mean you always have a really good take of like and
You know, I like the storyline, but I would have done this this and this with it
So I think that would be cool at some point too, but yeah, no, it's it's it's a cool sport for the folks that are in it

(07:41):
And you know, these guys are amazing athletes. I'll say that a lot of these guys that say it's fake
I'll say this sure
But at the same time the amount of moves that they're doing and the kind of moves that they're doing
It is definitely a sport like there to make it look the way that it does to make it as flawless as it is
With a lot of the dangerous maneuvers that they're doing takes a true professional to be able to do that

(08:07):
And that's why a lot of these guys do have wrestling
Backgrounds and I mean a lot of these guys. They're not just chumps off the street
That's what I'm saying. Anyways, a lot of them do have injuries though. So you tell me if it's fake or not
so
Bad blood is it gonna be held in our old
Stomping grounds of Atlanta, Georgia

(08:28):
It's gonna be held in Atlanta, Georgia
And really the theme is bad blood and all of these people on the card. They have bad blood
With each other. So the first match I'm gonna talk to you about
It's gonna be CM Punk versus Drew McIntyre and this match is gonna be a hell in a cell match
Do you know what hell in a cell matches? Is it kind of it's similar to a cage match, correct?

(08:52):
Yep, it's a big steel cage anything goes within the cage
You can you know use the
The steel cage to beat up your opponent, but the way that you win is you either escape or
you
Or you pin or submit them or they do pinfall so

(09:12):
Do the one two three count so CM Punk actually was in WWE and was really popular around probably
2011 to and he left in 2014
Very known for being outspoken. He's kind of a polarizing figure when he left
He spoke out about against the company and just said I'll never go to WWE ever again

(09:34):
And he had this big long podcast whatever went to AEW the rival company had some issues with that
But last year a year ago
Around Thanksgiving he returned at Survivor Series and nobody knew that he was gonna show back up
And so like no one in the locker room knew and so when he showed up

(09:56):
It was a shock to people and Drew McIntyre
legitimately was very upset that
That CM Punk was was back in WWE
And so CM Punk goes on to go to the Royal Rumble and while
What basically how the Royal Rumble works is there's 30 guys in a ring and then the last one standing is the winner

(10:18):
And so while Drew McIntyre and CM Punk were in the ring together Drew actually injured CM Punk
Okay, so injured his
Tri-sep and CM Punk is out for nine months all during that time CM Punk is still coming back doing promos
all that stuff and their feud is heating up and so

(10:39):
Drew McIntyre would attack CM Punk backstage this and that and then
CM Punk had a bracelet with his wife's name and his dog's name on it
Drew McIntyre beat up CM Punk stole his bracelet and so their first match
Drew McIntyre won and
every week, of course, you know, they're sabotaging each other beating each other up and then

(11:03):
CM Punk and Drew's home country of
Scotland he
He cost him the world championship by interfering in the match and making him lose so Drew was very upset so
Last month they had a strap match, which means they were attached by it with a strap to their to their wrists and

(11:26):
An opponent had to touch all four corners. So CM Punk won that match. Well
They thought it was over and Drew McIntyre said it's not over. So basically they're having their
Third match to see I guess kind of who wins two out of three
Matches so they're gonna be in hell in a cell match. So who do you think is gonna win and maybe your thoughts on that match?

(11:48):
logically, I think it's gonna be CM Punk and I think mainly because
From from what I hear from the storyline and whatnot. I feel like that's what's building since he was gone and came back
CM Punk, even though he was a very polarizing figure
Because he even jumped the UFC for I think a fight or two or something like that and he was

(12:08):
Quite the you know people are kind of paying attention to him over there as well
I mean that was quite a while ago. I think that was like 2017 2018 when that happened, but
I think that he's popular enough because
I'll say this Drew McIntyre I've heard of him, right?
But I haven't heard of him like I've heard of CM Punk before and since he left and came back. I feel like

(12:34):
They're gonna they're gonna keep him a little bit more prominent while they could make some money on him, especially
Cuz let's face it. He is getting older. Correct. I mean he's getting
At this point, he's getting a little bit older. I wouldn't say he's it's hard to say that wrestlers are past their prime
Especially for somebody who's not in there before but I would imagine like any sport you get past 40

(12:55):
It's a little bit tougher, right?
And so if he's still in the fight, I think he's gonna be a little bit more popular
Right. And so if he's still performing at you know his best and it seems like
You know, it seems like he is just based on what I've heard what you just said
I think they're gonna bank on that as long as they can

(13:17):
So I think I think it'll be CM Punk for that reason the good thing about CM Punk is whether when lose or draw
He still draws money just because he he's like a cat Williams
What he says isn't always popular, but he always tells the truth and so I could see it going either way because
CM Punk is at the point in his career where maybe he might be trying to pass the torch

(13:39):
To the younger generation and they have a term in the business called putting someone over. Do you know what that means?
Yeah. Yeah putting somebody basically it's
From the way that I understand it. It's basically they give them a string of
events, but it's
Events that they choose and essentially they're gonna make it look really good

(14:00):
But they're still gonna take the fall for the for the other guy like they're gonna yeah
Putting someone over means just making the other guy look really good or hey like I have the belt and I'm an older guy
So I'm gonna lose the match so I can you know really help this guy get promoted and but make it look really close
Yeah, look really close to the point where it's like don't damage right like my reputation or anything like that

(14:25):
But we'll make it look incredibly close and yeah, absolutely. Yeah, so you are marking down CM Punk
Okay, cool deal. We can come back to the other matches after I think you have some things you have some questions and stuff
I figure we could maybe just bounce back. Yeah for sure man. So
My two big hobbies that Chris so I know Chris. He knows football, right?

(14:48):
He knows college. He knows pro, but I would say probably he just doesn't follow them, right?
And it's not because he doesn't like them. I think part of it is his job
working on Sundays, I
Mean that kind of prohibits you a lot of the time from watching a ton or keeping up with it because when you know
That that's your prime day of working and that's the prime day that you know then if fell happens and then college

(15:13):
I feel like
College is okay, but you never really had a connection to any college, right?
And so it's a little tougher to like college football if you have like a connection if you don't have a connection so I've got some football questions for you
And you know, we've kind of done this before and Chris has asked me questions about
Football in the past and so we're gonna kind of do a little bit of a it's not the donut hole segment where we're gonna do a kind of a

(15:38):
Donut hole style quiz
It's actually 20 questions. So it's a little it's a little longer, but we're gonna see I've got I've got a couple of them
I'll give you the option
Which one do you think you know better starting quarterbacks or NFL stadiums that have been played in?
Definitely NFL quarterback NFL quarterbacks. Okay

(15:59):
So here's what we're gonna do. We're gonna run through
I've got a quiz about the 2009 quarterbacks that we're starting at the time
And then I've got a quiz about today's quarterbacks and we'll see how you how you do on both
All right, let's go for it. Who was the starting quarterback of the New England Patriots in 2009?
Pretty pretty simple one there. I can go through the options. Yeah, there you go. Tom Brady question, too

(16:24):
Here's another one. That's pretty darn easy
Which quarterback led the New Orleans Saints to a Super Bowl victory in 2009 Drew Brees three and it's another pretty easy one here
Who is the starting quarterback for the Green Bay Packers in 2009 and Rogers? There you go
So you're you're moving through these now. Here's a little bit tougher, but you probably remember this guy

(16:44):
What team did Mark Sanchez start for in 2009? Is it Miami the Jets or the Chargers?
the the Jets the Jets do you remember Mark Sanchez and
Yeah, I thought it was didn't he play on the Chargers for a little bit if he did
He didn't he never did no
I don't think he did if it was it was later in his seat in his career

(17:05):
But it's kind of confusing because that one season they had like the throwback uniforms and the Jets kind of had a uniform
That looked like the Chargers so my oh, that's what it was
That's what because he was infamous for I'll never forget them being in that
Jersey and him having a hot dog on the sideline you remember that where like it was a whole thing where everybody was mad because he
He'd eaten a hot dog all he was on the sideline at a game

(17:28):
All right, who was the Bears starting quarterback in 2009 was it Jay Cutler Rex Grossman or Chad Haiti?
Or I'm sorry Caleb Haiti Jay Cutler. It was Jay Cutler good old Jay Cutler
He always looked mad like he always looked mad
All right, which quarterback was the starter for the Indianapolis Colts in 2009?

(17:53):
I can you could probably already tell was it Peyton Manning still yeah
I was Peyton Manning still I don't remember when he retired was it 2011 when he retired
Peyton no Peyton Manning went a little further than I think it was like 2015 because you remember he went to Denver for a while
He was in Denver. Oh, yeah, that's right. I forgot he went. Yeah, you forgot his Denver era
He you know people he won a Super Bowl there, but he really wasn't that good. He like got benched the last couple years pretty bad

(18:20):
Alright this one might be a little interesting
Who was the starting quarterback for the San Francisco 49ers in 2009?
Was it Alex Smith Sean Hill or Colin Kaepernick Alex Smith still yeah, it was Alex Smith. You're right
All right, just a couple more questions of 2009 here
I think you know this one which quarterback led the Atlanta Falcons in 2009. Oh Matt Ryan. Oh Maddie Ice

(18:46):
That's right
This one's kind of kind of interesting because of the timing, but who is the starting quarterback for the Minnesota Vikings in 2009?
Was it Tervaris Jackson Brett Favre or sage Rosenfels breath far
It was Brett Favre. I was trying to trip you up with Tervaris Jackson. See if you remembered that guy
I did not remember him at all. Oh, yeah

(19:07):
He was he was supposed to be like the next big thing and he really washed out. All right
And last one for 2009 which team did Josh Freeman start for in 2009?
Was it the Buccaneers the Chiefs or the Bengals? Oh
I want to say the Bucs the Buccaneers dude. You got all those right from 2009. That was it's pretty good

(19:29):
Yeah, I have to remember it's been a minute, but yeah, I think I remember
Well, it's one of those things too. It's like there were some pretty popular ones in there as well
But what's gonna be interesting is you're gonna see some familiar names in this in the next quiz here
So you're ready to do
Nowadays who's starting now? How do you think you're gonna do on this one? I think I have a pretty decent knowledge

(19:53):
well, we could do some easy one so
The first question and of course, it's got to be a softball one
But who is the starting quarterback for the Kansas City Chiefs?
Patrick Mahomes, he's just a red raider who they told couldn't play in the NFL
Hey, oh gosh, is that what people around around your city be saying? Please tell me that's what Patrick Mahomes said himself

(20:16):
Oh, God, he said I'm just at Texas Tech quarterback
Who's they told that he couldn't make it in the NFL? Okay, dude. All right
Who is the current starting quarterback of the Pittsburgh Steelers? Is it a Justin Fields?
B Russell Wilson or C? I
Don't know just pick between those two. Oh, it's a we think it would it's not Russell Wilson or is it?

(20:43):
They're trying to get him back. He's been injured, but yeah, it's been Justin Fields to this point
But yeah, oh Russell hadn't been quite the same since he left
All right, here's another one. This is gonna be pretty hard
Who is the Patriots starting quarterback right now? Is it?
Is it a Jacobi Berset Jacobi Berset?

(21:04):
Sage Rosenfels, I'll add him again because you know, it's not gonna be him. Is it Chad Hitty?
It's I think you know, hey, well, yeah, cuz the rest of them you could tell that I've made up
So that was probably pretty yeah, I get to help. I want I watched the
Sports network on when I go to sports clips. I kind of know. All right
Who is the starting quarterback for the Baltimore Ravens? Is it a Brock Purdy?

(21:30):
C or B Caleb Williams or C Lamar Jackson? Marge. Everybody loves Lamar Jackson. Everybody loves
Jackson this one might be a little bit tougher
Who is the starting quarterback of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers? Is it a to Sean Watson?
Be bow nicks or C Baker Mayfield. It's Baker Mayfield. I know he's actually doing pretty pretty decent this year

(21:52):
Yeah, that's what I heard. I heard he was doing actually pretty good. I'm kind of like I've never been a full Baker Mayfield fan
But like he's actually it's like, okay, you know what not not too bad. He's actually matured out a lot, which is cool
um
All right, the Indianapolis Colts. Is it a Matt Ryan B. Anthony Richardson or
Uh c jaden daniels. It's Matt Ryan. No, it's Anthony Richardson. Matt Ryan's retired

(22:17):
He's he's a commentator. He's a commentator on CBS now. All right, just a couple more here
The Atlanta Falcons is it a Matt Ryan, which you obviously know is not that B. Kirk Cousins
C. Daniel Jones or or D. Trevor Lawrence. It's actually Kirk Cousins. Kirk Cousins yet
You know who you know who it is. I watch sports on tv on sports clips. I'm gonna try to get you

(22:41):
Oh, I don't think you go get this one. You ready for this to Carolina Panthers
Is it a Bryce young? Is it b Gardner Minchew or is it c Andy Dalton?
I want to say it's Andy Dalton. It is Andy Dalton. It is Andy Dalton
Yeah, I knew there was a couple washed up guys that went to uh, Atlanta Carolina. Yeah, so it was uh, NFC south is just washed up

(23:06):
Quarterbacks. Yeah, because um, I mean, you know the Saints. It's Derek Carr right now. So I mean, he's been around for forever too
um
But yeah, Andy Dalton and he actually got
He actually went into the starting spot after their starting quarterback Bryce young
had a decent rookie season and then he uh
Really struggled this year and got benched

(23:28):
So they put Andy Dalton in kids. It's never too late to shine. It's never too late
And then the other one that I got right now. So we talked about the Colts, right? And we said, um, it's a bonus question
So Anthony Richardson with the Colts is actually injured. Do you know who's starting for him right now?
It's a it's an old it's an old hit
It's one of these dudes that you're gonna be like that dude's still playing you have do you have a thought

(23:50):
John Kittner. No, god if he was still playing that would be very interesting. It's actually Joe Flacco
Joe Flacco's their quarterback right now. I forgot about that guy. Oh Joe Flacco. All right, jump it back to the
WWE train, uh, I'm gonna put these next two together
Because I kind of go together, but we'll go first one. So Damian priest versus Finn Balor now

(24:11):
Damian priest and Finn Balor were in the judgment day group together along with Rhea Ripley
Uh and Dominic Mysterio
um, and so
Basically Damian priest while Rhea Ripley was out. He kind of stepped up as the leader of the judgment day
um
Judgment day was going strong for a good like two years and so they they pretty much dominated 2023

(24:36):
um for sure for sure, but at SummerSlam
Finn Balor betrayed uh Damian priest and cost him the world championship
he interfered and turned on Damian priest and uh he uh
He he cost him the match and so then goon third one
Yep goon third beat

(24:57):
Damian priest
And now he's the champion so
uh
Damian priest wasn't too happy. Who do you think is going to win Damian priest or Finn Balor now Finn Balor's been in the
WWE for
long time probably about
uh
10 years and he's been a former world heavyweight champ
so I think Finn Balor and from and again

(25:19):
I don't know too much about the storyline, but besides what you told me here, but I got a weird feeling that they're going to
They like to keep the villains going for a little bit, which is good or what necessarily say the
He would be a villain in this. Would you say he's the villain role in this storyline? Yeah, so it's funny because um

(25:39):
Yeah, because judgment day all of them were kind of villains and so then Damian priest
I guess he kind of turned Amory Ripley kind of turned into good guys. I think they would turn it turned into faces
I think yeah, I think Finn Balor, but I think it's mainly because um
Like you said been in the game for a while
But I think that the storyline is still going to continue to build and I think that in to do that

(26:05):
I mean you have to have rematches you it's you know, it's not going to be the only
Bad blood beef that they're going to want to keep going
You know what I mean? So I think that that's what's going to happen so that they set up for the future
Future matches. Yeah, and they uh, so they
So they kicked Damian priest and Rhea Ripley out of the judgment day and they've been beating up on them every week

(26:28):
And they added more numbers. Uh, even while Rhea Ripley was gone. So there's probably
Five in the judgment day. So it's been kind of five on two and then last
Uh
PLE uh, they had a mixed team match where it was Damian priest and Rhea Ripley versus Liv Morgan
And Dominic Mysterio and priest and Rhea one, you know, I think I think it's going to keep building to where it's like

(26:55):
They ousted those two from judgment day, right? There's going to be something in the future where
They're going to be back to the
Head of judgment day. I think you know what I mean and dominate everybody or just take judgment day down completely
And though storyline of build to that I'm sure that's what that's my guess at least
So you got Finn Balor on that one and that brings me to the next match

(27:18):
Which is it's going to be Liv Morgan versus Rhea Ripley for the women's world championship
And uh, there's a stipulation to this match. Dominic Mysterio is going to be
Hanging above in a shark cage
Okay, okay. Hold on
So
basically what happened was
two years ago

(27:40):
Rhea seduced Dom and got him to be part of the judgment day and of course they were having their thing, right? And so
before Rhea Ripley became champion in 2023
She
accidentally injured Liv Morgan and Liv Morgan lost her rotated or like had to get surgery on a rotator cuff

(28:00):
And she was out for like nine months. So Rhea Ripley goes on to become the world
Women's world champion and dude. She's like dominating WWE right now like not just in the women's division
I would say she's probably like the number two or number three like most popular
Person in the WWE right now like she's a she's a freaking beast

(28:20):
So, uh, basically Liv Morgan was pretty upset and then when Liv Morgan came back after
WrestleMania
This past year
Liv Morgan injured Rhea Ripley
Um and got back on her and she called it. I'm on the Liv Morgan revenge tour. So, uh, she told Rhea

(28:42):
I'm gonna take everything away from you. So while Rhea's out
Liv was trying to seduce
Dom
Mysterio
She was trying to seduce him a lot and as Jim Ross and probably the people in Wiggins, Mississippi would say she was a
Yes, Bill and Dom was like resisting and resisting and like she kissed Dominic Mysterio like on live tv

(29:05):
um, and then Dom was resisting and resisting and then right as uh,
Liv Morgan and Dominic were about to kind of like I guess
Dom was starting to cave because Liv helped Dom with beat Rey Mysterio and right or
Dom and never won over Rey Mysterio before so right at that moment when Dom was like starting to cave and they almost kissed

(29:31):
Guess who shows back up?
Rhea Ripley after being injured for four months and she is mad like she's mad
And she's like Dom you got some explaining to do well
A couple weeks go by and she's still mad and Dom
Apologizes and makes it up to her and he says please forgive me like I'm here for you this and that

(29:53):
and then at SummerSlam
That's when the big turn comes and Dom cost Rhea
though though the match because they had a rematch Liv and Rhea had a rematch for the women's world title
and at the end of the match
Dom turned on Rhea and then I guess Dom and Liv are together now

(30:13):
and so uh
Rhea's pretty mad so this match they're gonna they're gonna fight and Dom is gonna be in a shark cage
suspended
Well, okay then
So that's a that's a good storyline. So they're gonna they're gonna fight basically over him, huh?
I I kind of but not really um

(30:37):
It's they're not fighting for him
But I think it's just an entertainment piece to keep Dom away from interfering
um
This is not the first storyline where Dom
Was attempted to be suspended between uh two people
Originally between Ray Mysterio and Eddie Guerrero and uh SummerSlam at 2005. They wanted to suspend Dominic Mysterio

(31:01):
Uh above them and them climb the ladder to see who got Dom, but Dom was only eight years old. So
They weren't gonna do that. So they put a pretty cool custody papers to suspend in a ladder match
They wanted to put him
That's crazy. That's who do you think is winning this match and what do you think of this storyline?

(31:22):
You know, it's actually a pretty good storyline. So um, I'll I'll take it back to when I watch WrestleMania with you
right and we were
uh
Probably the best storyline of WrestleMania to for me was the Dominic Ray Mysterio
storyline, right? Now they could have done some different things that I think would have made it a little bit more believable and a little bit

(31:44):
I wouldn't say believable, but just a little bit more
uh entertaining with it. Um, but
You know, it was already somewhat interesting watching
the
storyline with the whole re-riply thing back then and now that it's
I mean, it's one of those things. It's like I I don't know. It's kind of weird, but

(32:07):
Kind of as a guy, you just like dang Dom. You'd be playing two women like this
You know what I mean? And he's got a real life wife at home. Yeah, exactly
It's like it's like he he over there just you know, having himself a good old time on on tv and whatnot
um
But I I think the storyline is very entertaining and of course dangling them over a shark tank is

(32:28):
something interesting some like dr. Evil stuff and just put some laser beams on top of the shark's head and call it good. Um
No, I think Liv Morgan just because so re-riply is good and you know
She's from what you've told me and from what I've heard
She's vastly improved over the years and like her character is definitely and like a lot of dudes really like her

(32:51):
Um, not just because she's very good looking and the accent and whatnot, but like she's
A villain, but she's like pretty personable as well. But I think that again, it's one of these things of
I think it's going to be they want it to on go for a little bit of time and I think
like you kind of said before

(33:12):
um
I think re-riply has kind of become
um, the hero villain in a way like the likable villain to where people even though she's
That villain character people like her and so I think that people are going to be secretly pulling for and let me know if I'm wrong here, but
more than Liv Morgan

(33:32):
And I think that it's
Would you say that in this case she's more the villain in this situation?
It's what it seems like to me and it's again
It's kind of ria has kind of turned into the the good guy
Um in this situation and the reason why dom explained why he went with liv was because when he was with ria
Ria was always the one bossing around like making him do stuff

(33:57):
But liv liv was the one that was kind of like catering to him and like she was like kind of
propping him up like she got him
She let them play video games like this man is living out every 15 year old boy's like dream is like
Let me have a girlfriend that'll bring me chicken nuggets and let me play video games. So um

(34:19):
So I I think it's a I think Liv Morgan
Yeah, I would say yeah, and the crazy thing is like people don't understand like people love to hate on dominant mysterious
Mysterio number one the guy is really talented at the ring
But think about it like with his character work
He already was a piece of crap for like being horrible to his dad
And then like they just made him an ultimate piece of crap by like, you know what like I'm gonna cheat like

(34:46):
On my girlfriend
Quote on quote in the storyline and it's like you kind of feel bad for ria Ripley and you you're like man like
But then at the same time you're also like you kind of feel you kind of see why dominic did it and you're kind of torn and
You know, I I like Liv Morgan as far as like her character development everything
Uh, she's kind of annoying a little bit, but and I think that's to make you hate part of it

(35:13):
But I'm just like man the storyline is really good. Like it's it's entertaining. It's really good. Yeah. No, I I agree
I because even as a non wrestling fan, it's like I'd be I'd be interested to
To know how that turns out. You know what I mean? I'll let you know, uh, I'll let you know
After uh after it airs so
All right sounds good

(35:35):
Do I got only one more left or do you want to switch back to football? I don't mind. Well, we can
We'll save the one more I've got we're actually going to switch to aviation a little bit if that's all right with you
I got another quiz for you, but this this one's going to be a little bit harder now. This is
um
So every year, I don't know if you've heard of this probably not it's only for aviation nerds like myself here

(35:59):
Um, there's a company called Skytracks that does a annual report and it's from consumers and it's it's about airlines
Just on a lot of different things on time reliability. How's their customer service?
um
Are their planes aging and then they come out with the score at the end of it, right?
And then they rank all the airlines best to worst in different categories and all sorts of stuff, right?

(36:23):
And so this quiz is based off of how
um
People how their reputations are basically come out from this from this survey or test. So
um
Let's see if you know some of these which airline out of this list is the most often criticized for poor customer service delayed flights
Especially during the winter months. Is it a Ryanair?

(36:47):
Is it b american airlines or is it c spirit airlines?
Oh, probably spirit. You would think it's spirit. It is a american airline. Is it american?
Yeah, it's american airlines. Oh, I was gonna go with american. American is the worst. Yeah, so they're they're the number one
criticized
airline for poor customer service and delayed flights
Especially in the winter months. It's weird because they used to not be that way. Yeah, and really

(37:11):
A little over 10 years ago now
They merged with us airways to become the largest airline in the world and when they did that it just they got
As they say in the south they got too big for their britches and that's exactly what I was gonna say
I was gonna like they got too big for their britches. They got too big for their britches and now they they're still trying to atone for
You know, how big they are and when you're that big of an organization, it's it's hard to run if you don't have it managed right so

(37:38):
um
All right, so question number two known for its low cost model
Which airline has faced numerous complaints regarding hidden fees and unprofessional staff? Is it spirit?
They're actually not on this on this list. So is it a southwest airlines b frontier airlines or c jet blue airways?

(38:02):
Jet blue it's actually frontier so frontier is actually so think about spirit frontier is like on the same playing field as spirit
They're pretty much the same exact thing except they have nice animals on the tail of the plane instead
That's pretty much the only difference. All right question number three
Which airline has been labeled as one of the worst long-haul flights?

(38:22):
So long haul is eight hours plus. So you say eight hours plus they consider that long haul long haul flights due to
inadequate legroom and in flight services
Is it a air india?
b united airlines or c turkish airlines
Uh, i'm gonna go with a you're gonna go with a air india. That is correct. Yeah air india

(38:43):
Oh, it's it's it's atrocious. You can there's a ton of youtubers who do reviews on doing business
Like think about this business in first class where you're actually paying decent amount of money to fly overseas and like it's been
It's like dirty and they'll take uh
Like they'll give out hot towels and like i've seen these dudes take and like just wipe a little bit down

(39:05):
And it's just like grimy as all get out and it's just absolutely disgusting
Would you would you do a video like that?
Listen if i had my aviation channel making money absolutely, but if i'm not making money for that. Yeah, bro. That's that's hard
I mean that's one of those things of like you're talking eight ten hours and just going there and then coming back

(39:25):
Um, and that's that minimum. I mean if you're flying like air india goes out of dallas and then they also go out of houston
Um, if you're talking about going through there, it's like those those are like
14 15 hour flights. Could you imagine that on a 14 15 hour flight? I'd I'd man
I don't know about all that that sounds pretty pretty darn bad

(39:46):
But hey if i'm getting paid for it money talks money talks
Uh question number five which airline was involved in a very high profile incident
This was all over the news not like there was a celebrity involved, but it was just all over the news about this
Uh in 2017 where a passenger was forcibly removed from an overbooked flight
Which you know what really fries my donuts?

(40:08):
Not like it's the segment, but when airlines overbook a flight. That's the dumbest thing in the world
Why would you oversell the seats? I I I never understand that because then they're getting on there like hey
We'll offer you a thousand dollars to give up your seat and you're going isn't that just a ginormous waste of money anyways?
Um, just don't oversell the seats is my thing. Um

(40:28):
But was it a delta airlines b united airlines or c american airlines?
Uh, I want to say american, but let's go with united. Yeah, it was united united
um
The passenger was forcibly removed because basically they didn't have enough volunteers to um
And so they had to get person so they forcibly removed somebody off the flight

(40:51):
It was pretty pretty crazy and so that made national news, of course
That person get like compensation or anything or did they sue they they got compensation?
But if I remember correctly they sued in return to
Do um, which I think got settled out, but I it was definitely a big deal
And because a bunch of people took video of it, of course
And that person definitely made a big deal about it as they should have I mean

(41:13):
You're getting removed off a plane because they overbooked. It's not really their fault, you know question number five
This low-cost airline has been known for extremely limited leg room and frequent cancellations in europe
Um, is it a easy jet b ryan air or c air asia?
I'm gonna go with b. You are correct. It is ryan air ryan air has a very bad reputation

(41:37):
You've you've probably heard of ryan air before I would imagine nope never heard of her you've never heard of him
So if you ever look at them their ceo is actually hilarious. He's this little irish guy
The whole the whole thing he's actually pretty insane. Um, so they're known for extremely low cost
They actually copied off of southwest airlines model and the way that they do things but they'll offer flights for like nine euros

(42:02):
Which is the essential of like 12 13 bucks
American right and you can go from these different european towns back and forth and then a few years back he got
Uh in trouble for this idea because he was really going to go through with it
He wanted to take the bathrooms out of the front in the back of the plane and have a standing room only section like a bus
and charge one euro a pop for it and

(42:23):
And in the european government the e you said heck no that's that's dangerous and he's there was a whole interview
He's like that's not dangerous and he's like went on this
I don't know why I came out australian there, but he went like super angry irish about how it's not dangerous
And how there's no turbulence all this other crap. He's kind of insane, but yeah ryan air
Um, they're they're kind of known for some they're they're the spirit airlines of europe for sure

(42:49):
all right
Question six which airline historically has struggled with on-time performance
um
And customer service to the point where they received the lowest satisfaction ratings in these areas for three years running so
um
So this is for just strictly on-time performance and customer service

(43:10):
So is it a spirit b frontier or c aligant air? Oh, I was going to say american airlines
Uh, uh, a legionaire, I guess. Hey good guess. Yeah, a legion has been so have you even heard of a legion?
Is a legion one you've heard of so that's one it's a lot like spirit or frontier. They're extremely low cost and

(43:31):
They'll nickel and dime you for everything the joke is they'll charge you for the air you breathe, but at the same time
Um, they run really old raggedy planes that break down all the time. So they have a really bad reputation
so
It's always fun. All right
next question this airline has faced criticism for delays operational issues and

(43:52):
um
Frequent accidents and this happens in south america. Which airline am I talking about is it a avianca?
B latam or c goal. There's literally an airline down there. Just like, you know, it's like go
Yeah, there's one go well goal
um
So is it so it's let you say latam?

(44:14):
It's actually avianca is the one. Um, they are they're out of
columbia and they're like
They've been they've been also known and been called out for
Knowing that their pilots are not adequately trained or like don't have that many flight hours
And they'll just throw them in the seat and fly them around. It's pretty nuts. All right two more questions here

(44:36):
Which airline has received the worst negative reviews about baggage handling and poor communications in regards to baggage to its passengers?
Was it a air france b norwegian air shuttle or c easy jet anytime you have a air shuttle
Uh in the name i'm going with i'm gonna guess it's not that good. So air shuttle whatever it is. Yeah, no

(45:00):
Yeah, that's a good guess norwegian air shuttle. Um, think about this
They're like spirit, but they are a
Global airline so like they do long haul flights, but they're really cramped and they're like they don't care like they don't care at all
So yeah, norwegian air shuttle. All right, so question 10
It'll be awesome if you know this one here

(45:21):
Known for having the lowest ratings out of all airlines and international aviation
Which airline operates under the strictest government control in the world?
Is it a air choreo
b air china
Or c china southern airlines china southern airlines. We're gonna go with that one. It's a good guess man

(45:42):
But it's actually a air choreo. It's the national airline of north korea. Yeah, I was gonna guess that because of the
They're the lowest uh, they're the lowest ranked airline in the entire world and reason being is because of all the sanctions
They're still having to fly
Um over 50 year old planes like one of their oldest planes like 80 years old
They're old soviet birds and I don't see how they keep them flying

(46:03):
But they've been banned from the eu
Even like think about this. They've been banned from
Even soviet countries or like former soviet countries because their planes are so decrepit
And they they're worried that they're gonna fall out of the sky pretty much
So the only places that they fly are pretty much from beijing china and back. That's like the only flights that they have
um

(46:24):
But like the food's bad like everything about it is bad apparently according to sky tracks
So there you go, man
Um, see you knew some of them and then you had some some good guesses on others
Um, was there anyone that necessarily surprised you out of the list of like, okay? These were this was the worst
I can't believe they were the worst or were they all about on pause?

(46:45):
I was just gonna guess american every time
It's a fair assumption. They're they're ranked pretty darn low back to uh bad blood
This is actually the last match in bad blood and then
Uh, once we switch back, I'll go over some storylines maybe in the past
Um, and see what you think of those maybe ones that you're not familiar with but this is the main event

(47:08):
Okay, cody roads is from atlanta georgia. So he is main eventing and
Basically four years ago. There was what was called the bloodline which was headed up by roman reins who was
the undisputed universal champion wwe champion and it was his
At first it started off with just him and then his cousins, uh, jay and jimmy usso

(47:33):
And they were the longest reigning tag team champs for a long time and then they brought in and they were cousins of the rock
Yeah, they're cousins of the rock. Yeah, they're a part of that samoan dynasty all that good stuff. Well, uh
They bring in solo sokoa
Eventually, which is uh jay and jimmy's
brother younger brother

(47:54):
And solo becomes the enforcer so basically every match that roman's in the bloodline is going to interrupt it and they're going to
Cheap to keep roman on top as champ. Well last year
Finally jay and jimmy leave the bloodline because they get tired of roman bossing them around
uh

(48:15):
And last year at wrestlemania cody roads
Uh faced roman reins for the undisputed universal championship, but he lost then after that jimmy and jay usso leave
Or we think they leave jay definitely gets out jimmy turns on his brother j
Um and jimmy's still technically in the bloodline. So fast forward all the way up to wrestlemania this year

(48:38):
cody
roads face faces roman reins again the rock got involved but you can uh
Go do that on your own time. Well solo tried to interfere in the match again, but cody roads had help
Uh to help him win and so cody won making him the undisputed universal wwe champion and roman reins was the longest reigning champ

(49:01):
Uh and oh quite a while he had the he held the title for about four years
And uh, so roman reins is like i'm gonna take some time off
Well during that solo sokoa says you know what since roman reins is gone
I'm gonna be the new tribal chief
And he kind of pushes roman out without roman knowing because roman's at home while this is playing out

(49:23):
Well roman kicks jimmy usso out of the bloodline and
He brings in his new crew of goons, which of course are all part of the samoan family
Samoan bloodline and they beat up mr. Paul haiman they put him through a table and injure him
Not paul haiman. Yep. Not paul haiman man. The famous the famous crap talker. I can't believe they did that to him crazy

(49:47):
Crazy crazy. So solo sokoa has been feuding again with cody roads
And they fought a little bit and cody's like you're not even the real tribal chief and solo was like yes
I am this and that so solo's just doing whatever the heck he wants and roman reins is not happy so
Roman reins at summer slam finally shows up

(50:09):
And he looks at solo sokoa and he puts him in his place and he spears him
Um, but basically the whole bloodline has turned against roman reins
And now guess who's teaming up cody roads and roman reins are teaming up to face
solo sokoa and jacob pa too, which that dude is

(50:30):
Dude, I wouldn't even want to meet that guy in real life on the street. He just looks crazy
Oh, like you really mess you up. Um, so a lot of people are talking about cody roads
and roman teaming up
Um, and they've even kind of addressed this in some promos like hey
I don't really like you but you know the enemy of my enemy is my friend

(50:54):
If that makes sense, I actually watched the promo where they were at the georgia tech stadium
Like I watched that I actually saw it. Yeah, I actually saw that. What'd you think of it?
Uh, it was interesting. It was kind of even from somebody who's not in wrestling
It was shocking because it was like wow, okay
They're actually teaming up because you also have to think too so limited wrestling that I've seen

(51:15):
The last wrestling event that I watched besides aww a few nights ago with my grandmother
Which was kind of a shocking experience was um, wrestle mania
and
Not this past year in philly, but the year before that in la which of course was
um
One of the events was supposed to be cody or it was cody versus roman reigns and then the law

(51:38):
So he had to go against the rock and all that other stuff. Um
And so it was interesting to see the bloodline and then there was also the sammy story that was on the side of that
And kevin owens and all that stuff which i'm gonna go off on a weird tangent here
I got a question for you before I answer all this
Do you think that there's a chance that kevin owens might turn on cody because i've heard that there's been some

(52:01):
Moments where it looks like that he might I think so. I think they're teasing him and randy orton turning on cody because they've been his friends
Um, just helping him and they've been the ones fighting the bloodline even before cody came back
To wwe so they're a little upset that cody's even teaming up with roman reigns
And so I think they're kind of teasing that

(52:24):
Maybe he might they might turn on cody
Um, because everyone wants to see randy orton versus cody rhodes because randy orton
Was cody rhodes his mentor when cody was first in wwe so people want to see that
The only reason I bring that up is because I do feel like that has something to do with what's going to happen
Um, I think there will be do you do you feel like there's going to be a potential part of that storyline that's going to come into play?

(52:49):
Um with this as well. I think so and I also think here's where I think the rock is going to get involved so
um for years people have wanted to see roman reigns versus the rock and
At a match and they were going to originally do it at wrestlemania this year. Um, and so when they told

(53:11):
Everyone hey cody isn't going to fight for the championship
People were pissed people were mad like they started like we want cody trend
And they basically got wwe to change the storyline and the rock ended up teaming up with roman reigns
but uh, I think

(53:33):
With cody and roman teaming up together
The rock could possibly come back and then cody still has a
A match against the rock because they have some unfinished business and then that could also set up for roman fighting the rock at
WrestleMania this year. So, you know, I here's what I'm thinking
just because
So I know the storyline a little bit more in depth going back to what talking about with wrestlemania

(53:59):
Back two years ago that sort of thing
um
Because roman reigns had the title for how long like it was quite a long time, right?
And it got to the point where
They kept building cody kept building cody into the story
um
To the point where again kind of what we were talking about in some of these other story lines

(54:21):
About how you want to keep having the villain
It kind of goes back like me and be an ager and we're talking about this the other day too
It kind of goes back to uh, like rick flair and four horsemen
Right and it goes back to his cody's dad dusty
And it's kind of similar, right? But I think they're kind of going on this trend and

(54:45):
of
you want to have the villains win win win because
Once
Finally the good guy prevails the storyline kind of takes a downward trend because everybody's been waiting for that guy to win
Now that he's on top and he's defending great
But I think that this is still kind of one of those efforts of you team two former enemies together to still fight the bloodline

(55:09):
The bloodline is going to
Are the new reformed bloodline here, right with solo over here is going to
Start winning again, right?
And I think that there's going to be
Again, they're going to build that and build that build that so that the good guy will prevail at the end
But they're just going to be a further story in between here, right to keep it good

(55:33):
Well, really and truly I look at this is they're just doing rocky three like that's what they're doing
Think about it. Yeah, right like first rocky rocky almost wins
But he doesn't and then it's rocky two rocky fights apollo creed again and he wins then rocky three
They team up to fight a common enemy which is even worse than

(55:56):
Uh
Than apollo so I'm kind of like man like it's I think it's still good because people are like
Yeah, like
Cody and roman are teaming up Duke
But do they really trust each other like is roman going to turn on kody like how's that going to work out?
So there are so many avenues to be able to get to
This is basically setting up where they're going to be for the next six months because they got to start building the road

(56:21):
To wrestle mania like right now. They got to start building that up
Which where is wrestle mania going to be this next year in vegas? Oh, okay
And now here's the question. Are they doing it in uh,
Allegiant stadium like in the big allegiance stadium. Uh, I don't remember. I don't remember where they're doing it at but
We'll see. I think people have teased that kody roads might fight randy orton

(56:45):
at wrestle mania
So maybe and so building to that. Yeah building to that. I would say for my guess for that, you know, I would say, um
I think solo and whoever comes out with the bloodline will be the victors probably it'll be close
You think bloodline 2.0 are gonna win? I think so. I think it'll be close
But I think there's gonna be like we talked about there's gonna be some kevin oans action

(57:06):
The rock will probably show up with that some somewhere in there, right? And there'll probably be some crazy stuff that happens
But I think that overall
Um, like you said, they're building to wrestle mania. So the only thing I would challenge you with that is
Do you think they're gonna make kody roads losing his hometown though? That is that is tough? But I think that

(57:27):
There is a chance because
How shocking that would be right or how upset that would make people because part of part of it too kind of what you were saying before is
Um
It's it's fun. Um, I don't know when they build the story like that and it invokes the emotions
A lot of what you were talking about in a lot of the storylines was

(57:47):
Even though you could see through some of it. It's still fun because it's like
I can't believe that they actually wrote that to happen. Right? This is supposed to be kody's hometown. This is supposed to be
Uh, especially when you talk about roman reigns too because like he played for george attack, right? Like that's what I got
It gathered from the promo. So it's like

(58:09):
Potentially making those two lose in atlanta
Um
Wouldn't that make it even a bigger story?
I mean, it's been a bigger storyline going forward because it's like now they lost in their hometown now
They they're trying to get that back not just not just
You know, they're trying to get the pride back from that
As well on top of everything else. Who knows? Well, that is uh bad blood

(58:32):
Prediction so I'm just going to go over
Recap so cm punk versus drew mack entire mica pick cm punk
Damian priest versus fin baller mica pick fin baller live morgan versus rhea riftley
Uh, mica picked live morgan and then kody and roman versus the bloodline 2.0
Micah picked the bloodline 2.0. So we'll see and then we'll circle back to that

(58:58):
Next week. Yeah heck. Yeah. So that's all good stuff. So
You're ready to get back to
Bro, I've got I've got other topics here, but um, or they're the same two topics
But do you want to do aviation or football? Which one do you want to do next? This is your show, bro
Fine, I'll pick I'll pick we're gonna split it up. So

(59:19):
Let's do a let's do any of fel stadiums now, man. How well do you think you know NFL stadiums? Not that well
Not even from madden. You don't remember having to pick some they've changed all the names now
I don't know anything. I guess that's true. I chose 2009 for the quarterbacks and for
Um, the stadiums as a reference quiz and things like that versus nowadays reason being 150th episode and 2009 was 15 years ago

(59:43):
So it kind of correlates not really but you know, there you go first. Let's go to the 2009 season
of the stadiums and um, something I'm going to add to these questions is um, once we get to the nowadays to 2024
Um, even if the names have changed, I'm going to ask you. Do you think that's the same stadium that they played in before?

(01:00:04):
And we'll see what you say and see if you're right question number one
Which stadium is home to the Pittsburgh Steelers in 2009? Is it a Heinz field?
Is it be Lucas oil stadium or is it siege a let stadium Heinz field Heinz field darn right
It's Heinz field darn right. It's Heinz field. Okay question number two

(01:00:25):
What was the name of the stadium where the Arizona Cardinals played?
Was it a Sun Devil Stadium be University of Phoenix stadium or C Qualcomm stadium?
Uh, Sun Devil Stadium. You were close. They that was their old stadium
So if you were talking like 2005 2006, you'd be right, but it was that new stadium that they built
You know when old Ken Wiesenhut was there, you know University of Phoenix stadium

(01:00:48):
Oh, Ken Wiesenhut and Larry Fitzgerald. Let's see question number three
What stadium was home to the New York Jets and Giants in the 2009 season?
Was it a MetLife stadium? Was it be the old stadium which was just called giant stadium
Or was it C Lincoln financial field B the old stadium. Yeah. Yeah, it was the old stadium

(01:01:10):
They were just about to open the new stadium in 2010 and it was actually right next door
And something I never understood was they had the old stadium in the new stadium
And I was like why why not just give one to the Jets and one to the Giants and let them have two different stadiums
I don't know and apparently I don't know if you've ever heard of this myth, but in the old giant stadium

(01:01:31):
That's where everybody said that Jimmy Hoffa was buried was in the giant stadium somewhere
I don't I don't know how true that is. Alright question number four
Where did the San Diego Chargers play their home games in 2009?
Was it a Qualcomm stadium be Levi Stadium or C Candlestick Park
Candlestick Park Levi Stadium
That is actually wrong. It is it was Qualcomm stadium, which doesn't exist in it

(01:01:57):
Well, I think it does still exist, but they just don't do anything with it anymore
Alright, this one's gonna be a little bit of a tough one
What was the name of the stadium that hosted the Dallas Cowboys during the 2009 season?
So basically this is like is it the new stadium or the old stadium pretty much is the question
Was it a Texas stadium be AT&T stadium or C Cowboys stadium

(01:02:19):
Cowboys stadium it was actually AT&T stadium. They'd already built the new one by that point
Oh, well, I didn't know that can you believe that sir? It's already been that old. I mean that was 2009 it was already in there
Like it's still pretty state-of-the-art for what it is to which is pretty wild
Yeah, they just need to get a state-of-the-art team. Sorry
We need to get a state-of-the-art owner to I'm gonna say it. I'm gonna say it. We them boys

(01:02:42):
Which stadium was home to the Minnesota Vikings was it a the US Bank stadium be the Metro dome or CTCF Bank stadium
The Metro dome it was the Metro dome you you remember what happened to the Metro dome that thing collapsed
I don't know if you ever saw the videos of it. Oh, yeah
Yeah, remember it was like the snow and it like collapsed the roof of that thing

(01:03:04):
It was just like one of those inflator roofs pretty much and it collapsed the whole thing. It was kind of crazy number seven
What stadium was the home stadium for the Chicago Bears in 2009 dub bears?
Was it a soldier field B camp Randall Stadium or C Lucas oil stadium soldier field good old soldier field
That's correct and that's actually Mike dicker. That's actually the smallest NFL stadium to still soldier field

(01:03:31):
Question eight which stadium was the home of the Miami Dolphins during the 2009 season
Now this is where the names are kind of weird because it's been all these names at one point
Was it a Sunlight Stadium B Hard Rock Stadium or C Memorial Stadium Memorial Stadium
That is wrong. It was actually Sunlight Stadium in 2009. I mean it just changed branding pretty much

(01:03:54):
Alright question number nine. Where did the Baltimore Ravens play their home games in 2009?
Was it a M&T Bank Stadium B FedEx Field or C Nissan Stadium FedEx Field
No, FedEx Field is actually the the redskins you want to try again?
So M&T Bank Stadium Nissan Stadium. No, it was M&T Bank Stadium M&T Bank Stadium. Yeah, M&T Bank Stadium

(01:04:17):
Alright last question for 2009. What was the name of the stadium that hosted the New Orleans Saints
The Superdome B the Louisiana Superdome or C Reliant Stadium
It's not the Superdome because I was destroyed in Hurricane Katrina. So I'd say C
No, it was the Superdome. They just patched it up and they rebuilt it. Yeah, it was the Superdome

(01:04:42):
It still is today too. Alright, so you're ready for 2024. You ready to see who did what?
Yeah, they're all named after some bank or some big business. Pretty much. Pretty much. It's weird. It's like cryptocurrency bank whatever
It's this the naming they have for these new stadiums is absolutely and I'm going to use my favorite word here.

(01:05:06):
Asinite. I mean it's all about the money who's giving us the most money. Alright question number one. Now this has been the same for quite a few years here
Which stadium is home to the New England Patriots? Is it A. MetLife Stadium B. Gillette Stadium or C. Mercedes-Benz Stadium
Gillette Stadium. Yep, it's been Gillette Stadium for quite a while all through the Bill Belichick era that's for sure

(01:05:29):
Question two. Where do the Dallas Cowboys play their home games? You already know. 18T Stadium
Is that the same stadium they played in 2009? Yeah, I think it is. Yeah it is. Okay, which stadium is located in
San Francisco? I'm sorry this one's it's not located in San Francisco but which one is home to the 49ers?
Is it A. Levi Stadium B. Sofie Stadium or C. Lumen Sofie. No, Sofie is LA. It's actually Levi Stadium. Tomato tomato.

(01:05:59):
Yeah, right. Alright, so what is the name of the stadiums where the stadium where the Jets and the Giants play?
Is it A. Soldier Field B. MetLife Stadium or C. Raymond James Stadium. Raymond James. Raymond James is actually wrong.
You want to take another guess? MetLife. Yeah, it was MetLife. Now this is where this is where it's like what the what did the name
change to but I think it's kind of obvious. Which stadium is known as the dome and is home to the New Orleans Saints?

(01:06:27):
Is it Lucas Oil Stadium, TIA Bank Field or Caesar Superdome. I see. Yes, the Caesar Superdome. Did you know it's
been bought out or like the naming rights have been bought out by Caesar's like Caesar's Palace in Vegas. Like those guys.
I thought it was like Little Caesar's. No, no, it's like Caesar's like betting and stuff like that. Like it's gambling.

(01:06:49):
I said word. I said look at what the Little Caesar's can do. Look at what Andy can do. Alright.
And so you probably know this one. Where do the Chicago players, players, geez, Chicago Bears play their home games.
Hasn't changed. I'll give you a hint. Is it Soldier Field with Mike Dickson. You know, they're talking about building another one

(01:07:14):
and like all of Chicago's outrage. Did you know Soldier Field is like from the 40s? Like it's really old. It's, it's, it's,
see, I don't think we should be tearing down these historic ballparks. I don't think so. I was actually pretty mad when they
tore down Yankee Stadium back then. Like not. Yeah, like we can't do that. That's a part of history, man. Like, yeah,
maybe you need to update it a little bit, but it's a part of history. And why can't we still use them for stuff?

(01:07:37):
I mean, I feel like you can still use it for things. Probably because of a seating thing. It's probably doesn't seat enough people.
What is the home stadium of the Miami Dolphins? Now it's changed its name so many times, but it is a Hard Rock Stadium,
M&T Bank Stadium or Deeson Stadium. The Hard Rock? It is the Hard Rock. Yes, the Hard Rock. And did you know,
so they've been in that same stadium for, I don't know how long Miami has. They've been in that one, I think since the 70s.

(01:08:02):
And here a few years back, they said, oh yeah, we're going to put a glass roof over it, but it's still got to cut out in the
middle. So it's like, why the heck do you have a glass roof when it really doesn't matter? You still get rained on. Like,
it don't make any sense to me. We got a couple more here. Which stadium serves the home of the Seattle Seahawks?
Is A, Lumen Field, B, Fenix Field, or C, Empower Field at Mile High?

(01:08:26):
It sounds like C, bro. That's weird. I'm going to guess C. Empower Field at Mile High? Mainly because I don't have a question about it,
but that's actually Denver. So Empower Field at Mile High, because they always say Denver is like the Mile High City.
Oh, well then it's Fenix. No, Fenix is the Redskins or the Commanders now. It's actually Lumen Field was the Seahawks.

(01:08:49):
It's that weird one that's got the weird triangle in the end zone, like the triangle seating at the end zone. Do you know where the
Atlanta Falcons play way? What their stadium's name is now? The Mercedes Benz. There you go. You already know. It's not the Georgia
Dome no more. And then I said this one earlier, so I'm sure you can get this one. What stadium is home to the Chargers and the

(01:09:10):
Los Angeles Rams? Sofi Stadium. Yep, it's Sofi. It's Sofi. So you did pretty good, man. Like, you know your stadium's pretty good.
I feel like. Yeah, I know the old stadiums. I don't know a lot of the newer ones. Nothing they changed the names.
I'll say this. Some of the newer ones are really cool. Like, Sofi looks pretty cool in theory, but I don't like how it's like open air
too at the same time. It's kind of weird. If you're going to be a dome, be a dome. That's how I feel about it.

(01:09:35):
I've got some old wrestling storylines and you probably have maybe heard of these, but they're kind of pivotal or maybe they're just
important wrestling storylines or maybe wrestling events, I should say. So back in the day, a lot of people, you know, still really
believe that wrestling was very real and the wrestlers did a lot to make sure that, you know, they didn't expose the business.

(01:10:02):
So if you had, if you were a bad guy, like you wouldn't go out to a restaurant or a bar with, with the other guys who were considered good guys.
Like you just didn't do that because you wanted people to believe like, hey, this is real and we do really have real life beef.
Like a lot of guys were getting in trouble during that time because like, for example, the Iron Sheik and Hacksaw Jim Duggan,

(01:10:26):
well, they really were having a big feud in the wrestling ring, but then they got pulled over and got handcuffed because they were riding together.
Some illegal stuff was going on. And then when the news broke in the papers, people were like, what the heck?
So they would keep up this thing, what's called K-Fabe. So K-Fabe is just saying, hey, like I'm going to be in gimmick.

(01:10:49):
I'm going to be in character all the time. Well, during the time of the 90s, when WCW was a big thing, you know, that's owned by Ted Turner and WCW was actually beating WWE
and the ratings and a lot of wrestlers were jumping ship. And so in WWE, there was a group of guys called the click and that's Shawn Michaels, Triple H, Scott Hall, Kevin Nash.

(01:11:14):
They were really good buddies. They hung out all the time, right? So on Kevin Hall, or sorry, Kevin Nash and Scott Hall were going to make the jump to WCW and they decided they were going to go there for more money.
Well, on their last night with WWE, Shawn Michaels wrestles Kevin Nash and they are feuding and all that stuff.

(01:11:40):
Well, after the match is done, all four of them like come together and they come to the middle of the ring and they all give one big hug and together.
And basically that was kind of the first, one of the first moments like on, not on TV, it was not televised, but someone got a video of it and it kind of got leaked.

(01:12:02):
And that's where people saw, hey, like this wrestling thing, like it's maybe kind of not real. I mean, it's what's called the curtain call.
Do you think they should have done that and expose kind of the business or what do you think? Because they were kind of like trying to celebrate as friends like, hey, this is going to be the last night.
This is your tribute to Kevin Nash and Scott Hall. What do you think about that?

(01:12:25):
To me, I think that it was probably inevitable. And you know, what's hard is any sort of expectations like you're talking about before, where it's, you know, kind of like you don't associate if your, if your characters are different ways and things like that.
I mean, I think people also have to understand that it's a business and the end of the day. And, you know, I don't fault them for what they did. I know that it probably put a damper on some things.

(01:12:55):
And again, probably, you know, what you, what annoys you the most about it is people, well, you know, it's fake, right? It probably, what it sounds like is it probably made all that exacerbated a ton, right?
It made a lot more people feel that way and may have lost fans or something like that because of it. But do I think they should have done it? Probably, probably, I mean, do you, man?

(01:13:19):
Like, I don't think that it's, I think it would have come out at some other point. You know what I mean? Like, I don't think.
There were a lot of, there were a lot of wrestlers that were mad about it because they had spent their whole lives, you know, they put their heart and soul into it and trying to kind of protect the business as they say. And then they were kind of like, hey, like Undertaker was one of those that was really mad about it.

(01:13:41):
And Bret Hart was one of those that was really mad about it. And they were like, what are they doing? Like, we're supposed to be protecting the business. So they felt a little bit betrayed by it.
Which I'm sure. Yeah.
The story goes that Shawn Michaels asked if McMahon, if he could do something with some kind of tribute and Vince told him, sure. But Vince didn't know what exactly they were going to do.
So basically Vince had to punish somebody. Well, Shawn, or sorry, Scott Hall and Kevin Nash, they were gone to WCW so they couldn't go anywhere.

(01:14:13):
Shawn Michaels was the World Heavyweight Champion at the time. So he couldn't punish Shawn Michaels. So it all kind of fell on Triple H.
Triple H got punished for it. He took a lot of the crap for it because Triple H was supposed to win this tournament called King of the Ring and he was supposed to get a big push to have a championship match.

(01:14:38):
Well, because of that, instead of Triple H winning that match, it was actually Stone Cold Steve Austin. And this was before Stone Cold Steve Austin was really big.
So Stone Cold, the night of that match, Triple H was supposed to win. Stone Cold, they switched and said, hey, Stone Cold is the one that's going to win.

(01:14:59):
And that was actually the night that Stone Cold cut his infamous promo about Austin 316. So just think that's kind of all how it kind of led to Stone Cold being pushed and becoming a really big star.
All because of that, huh? That's pretty wild. But and then you're talking about it's funny with Triple H because, yeah, they were mad, but guess what? Now he's the man in charge.

(01:15:25):
So it's kind of interesting. Like, it's all good. It's funny because like what's funny is, you know, me and my buddy talk about it now and it's like, yeah, the click actually now runs most of WWE because Shawn Michaels is now in charge of NXT, which NXT is all the developmental talent.
Up-encumbered.
Yeah, so he's in charge of all that. So like Triple H and Shawn Michaels pretty much run the show now.

(01:15:50):
Well, I mean, it wasn't wasn't Shawn Michaels. He was like coaching folks, right? I know he didn't do some stuff with Logan Paul.
Yeah, he's still coaching them. Yeah, that's wasn't he the one that was like coaching Logan Paul, I think.
Yeah, that was the one. Yeah. Yeah. He was the one that helped really help Logan Paul get ready for his matches and I say what you want about Logan Paul, but he can wrestle pretty good.
Yeah, he's a well, say what you want about either brother, right?

(01:16:14):
I know they're really polarizing figures, but they're both, I mean, they're both really good athletes.
Now, I mean, Jake Paul with the whole boxing thing, I do feel like he just pays people off to get beat, but at the same time, I mean, you look at both of them, they're both really good athletes.
There's no doubt about that.
Do I and do I think a lot of it's a cash grab for sure, but at least what you can at least say about Logan with it, Logan's put in time to become a decent wrestler at least.

(01:16:42):
You know what I mean? You can tell that he's actually put the time and he's not just trying to get a cash grab out of the whole deal.
So which is which is cool. Yes, we, yes we. So as far as aviation is concerned, how much have you heard about this is the biggest story and has been the biggest storyline for since 2018 really?
How much do you know about the max the 737 max drama the Boeing 737 max drama?

(01:17:10):
Do you know anything about that?
I know absolutely nothing.
You don't know nothing about it. So for those non aviation listeners, let me give you a brief synopsis. The Boeing 737 max.
There was the Boeing 737 has been a very long line of aircraft.
They've had a lot of good success.
In fact, they're one of the most successful aviation lines of aircraft that's ever been produced.

(01:17:35):
I don't know how the statistic stands up now, but used to be it was every 30 seconds you count, there's at least one 737 taking off somewhere in the world.
So that was the statistic. I don't, it's probably more than that because of how much they produced.
But there was older models and then max.

(01:17:56):
Basically, the only difference is there's a little bit of difference in mechanics and then there's a difference in the engines.
The engines are called the leap engine and it's supposed to be a lot more fuel efficient and things like that.
Basically, it was supposed to be like, okay, this is our next generation, just like cars or anything else, right?
You have your older generation that looks a certain way and has a certain engine on there.

(01:18:20):
And then you release the newer models that are quote unquote next generation.
They look different. They have a little bit different, but a lot of it's still the same.
So, leaving that brief history, let me give you a brief timeline as well.
And basically what I'm going to ask you, I've got a few questions at the end after I fill you in on the whole situation, just as somebody who is an unbiased person who flies occasionally and really doesn't have any skin in the game here.

(01:18:48):
See what you think.
The average consumer, if you will, that's yourself.
So, August 2015, this is the full timeline.
So August 2015, this is the first time that the 737 MAX rolls off the assembly line.
2017 is the first commercial flight that it takes.
So, you know, they went through all the testing, all this stuff.

(01:19:12):
They got approved by the FAA and then by 2017, it had already delivered to its first airline and they started doing this.
So, by 2018, Boeing had received almost 5,000 orders for MAX jets.
So, almost 5,000 orders from pretty much every airline you can think of, including the major airlines in the United States.
So, Southwest, American, United, Delta, all of them have orders or had orders for MAX at one point.

(01:19:41):
Okay, then we get into some bad stuff.
You probably remember this, 2018, Lion Air Flight 610, it killed everybody, plunged into the ocean, and it was a Boeing MAX 8 just off of the coast of Jakarta and the Java Sea and killed all 189 people on board.
So, of course, the investigation started and Boeing was, they were really focused on the flight control system called the MCAS, which you can look up what MCAS is.

(01:20:12):
That's a whole different subject.
Basically, it's an electronic monitoring system.
So, you know how, you know, pilots, when they fly the plane, they do have autopilot, right?
Basically, what MCAS does is say you're flying it or whatever, if it detects a stall, it'll automatically remediate that for you.

(01:20:34):
Like, that's what the system is supposed to be for.
So, if something happens, if the plane banks too far, essentially, think about this.
If the pilot pass out, falls on the flight controls, and it starts taking a nosedive, theoretically, the MCAS is supposed to fix that and say, okay, we're not supposed to do that.
So, they started focusing that the MCAS might actually have been the problem with this.

(01:20:55):
So, very next year, 2019, so this was October the 29th, 2018 was the first crash.
March the 10th of 2019, eat the open airlines flight 302, which was also a MAX 8, crashes right after takeoff.
And Ethiopia killing all 157 people on board.
So, within the second days or second crash, within days of that, the FAA grounded all MAX jets, all 737 MAX jets all around the world.

(01:21:25):
I don't know, do you remember any of that happening?
Like the plane crashes and then them grounding all the jets?
Bro, to be honest with you, when I hear plane crashes, I'll be like, oh, okay, a plane crashed.
Like, I know that's bad, I'd be like praying for their families, but other than that, like, I just see it as a headline.
I don't read the articles.
I got you.
So, a preliminary report between both of these crashes, shown that it was the MCAS that malfunctioned, and basically it couldn't level the nose of the plane manually because of the aircraft speed.

(01:21:57):
So, basically, it locked the plane into a dive, and so the pilots couldn't do anything.
So, basically, it locked it into a dive, and there was absolutely nothing you could do about it, which then uncovered a ton of other things, such as inadequate training of pilots.
Literally, the training for this plane, especially if you had 737 experience, it was a two-hour course on the iPad.

(01:22:20):
That was all that the course was about safety, about how to operate the plane.
If you pass this two-hour course, that's all that it took for you to be qualified to fly this plane.
So, there was problems with that.
They also found that there was instances where Boeing was offering packages.
So, just like a car, they were offering the baseline package of just like, okay, this is the base model.

(01:22:43):
Or, if you want to buy the little bit of better product, it had a lot of these things fixed because they were better products.
So, basically, the two airlines, they deemed that the two airlines that had bought these planes basically bought the base model,
and Boeing knew that there was problems with the base model.
And so, they grounded all the planes, and it was a very, very long road to getting them back to where the FAA and the rest of the world said,

(01:23:14):
okay, they're airworthy enough to fly again.
But that ended up happening in 2020.
They said, you know what? Okay, it's good.
But the FAA literally had to check every single plane.
Like, they went plane by plane and checked every single one to make sure that it was good.
And at the software update that they had put into place for the MCAS was working.

(01:23:37):
So, 2020, late 2020, the 737 resumed flying.
There was a bunch of lawsuits that happened in between there.
Boeing got their CEO fired because basically they just found negligence, negligence, negligence.
They just knew about this the entire time and basically just didn't do anything about it.
Fast forward to 2023, December the 28th of 2023.

(01:24:01):
The FAA says that it was monitoring the inspections of 737 MAX because Boeing was asking airlines to look for potential loose bolts in the rudder control system.
So, think about this.
The rudder is the back, you know, the back tail of the plane, and the rudder moves back and forth.
It helps with turning, helps with all sorts of stuff, right?

(01:24:23):
The rudder is a very important piece.
Potential loose bolts in the rudder control system.
So, that was kind of like, ooh, okay, maybe there's some problems with it again.
Fast forward to January 5th, 2024.
So, early this year, you probably heard about this on the news.
A paneling covering a unused emergency exit blew off of a 737 MAX 9 during an Alaska Airlines flight.

(01:24:46):
The pilots were able to land safely, but imagine sitting there, there was somebody sitting right next to that door and it blew open in the middle of flight.
They were like, I don't remember how high they were, but they were already pretty high when that thing got sucked out of there.
But they didn't ground the MAX planes that time.
And then that's when they started discovering, the NTSB started discovering that the four bolts that were used to secure the doors for the MAX 9s were missing.

(01:25:15):
After repair work at the Boeing factory, they started looking at other MAX aircraft with United, other airlines like that,
and found these same bolts were missing as, you know, called on their safety culture, and they said, okay, we're going to fix it,
and we're going to remediate this, gave a remediation plan to the government, they said, okay, cool.
As long as you guys remediate this, this is fine.

(01:25:36):
Fast forward a little bit.
March the 4th, there was an audit of one of the key Boeing suppliers called Spirit AeroSystems,
and there was multiple instances of them failing their quality control standards, including using Dawn Dissoap as a lubricant.
That was a thing.
And then also using pieces of cheesecloth to have door fittings and things like that.

(01:25:59):
So they were also using hotel key cards to check rubber seals and things like that, which are all, I mean, that doesn't really prove a whole lot, right?
When you're talking about things like aviation, that's not really great.
So what did they do?
They ended up firing their CEO by year end and said, okay, we're going to have this whole management shake up, and we're going to try to do this.

(01:26:26):
So then it gets even more interesting.
The Justice Department says, okay, everybody that was on that 737 MAX plane that had the door blowout, you guys could be victims of a crime,
because pretty much they knew about it.
That's when all the whistleblowers came forward, right?
That you probably heard on the news was like, oh yeah, they definitely knew about it.
Then all of a sudden they mysteriously died.

(01:26:47):
It was like, oh yeah, they got the flu and now they died, right?
And so then the CEO that's on his way out was at the Senate hearing, got just absolutely demolished in the Senate hearing.
The new CEO gets selected and they've recently had another problem.
You ready for this? This happened here at the end of September.

(01:27:08):
So end of September, remember how we were talking about the components with the rudder?
A United flight actually had a problem where the rudder got stuck mid-flight.
And Boeing's directive to fix it, because of course it was reported to Boeing, they went through this whole thing.
This was the directive on how to fix that if it happens, because they know that there is up to 40 airlines that have these planes that are potentially being affected by this.

(01:27:36):
The directive from Boeing was to quote, overpowered the jammed or restricted system using maximum force.
Think about that. That means for the rudder, they're little rudder pedals.
So if it's stuck, literally stomp on it until it stops being stuck.
That's essentially what they're saying.
But that it could be affecting up to 40 airlines, or at the planes, which is basically that saying everybody that has a Max 8 or a Max 9 at this point.

(01:28:04):
And like I said, the CEO, there's a new one coming in and the old ones on his way out.
So there's a little bit overlap, but there's a bunch of lawsuits going on.
There is an absolute ton of potential criminal things that might be coming.
The Department of Justice is doing a full investigation on top of NTSB and FAA.
So all that being said, now that I've caught you up on everything that has been going on all these years with the Max, I got a few questions here.

(01:28:32):
One, what do you think Boeing could have done better with all of this?
Do you think by hearing this story, I think there's some blatantly obvious things, but from somebody who's on the outside end, what do you think Boeing could have done better to maybe mitigate this or maybe have done better to this point?
Yeah, I think it all just boils down to just not taking the cheap way out to fix things and putting a bandaid on things.

(01:28:57):
I think it all goes down to training and quality control.
And again, you're cutting corners and it sounds like they were cutting a lot of corners, you know, with the dish soap and with the cheesecloth, all to make a profit, right?
I'm sure they were like, yeah, we could save some money here and there.

(01:29:18):
And that's really what it boils down to.
And when you cut corners and the small things, you're going to cut corners and the big things.
And that's, again, I think a lot of it was just like, oh, it'll be fine.
Because you really and truly, you know, you and I have probably done that.
When you're putting something together and you can't find that one screw or that one bolt that won't fit just right.
And it's just like a table, right?

(01:29:40):
It's not that big of a deal, right?
Like it's really not that big of a deal.
You're like, OK, most of it's pretty secure.
But when you're dealing with aviation and travel and wind and all that stuff, honestly, really and truly, you've got to make sure all your ducks are in a row.
Absolutely. I feel the same way.
Here's the other thing.
So because of a lot of these problems, a lot of these lawsuits, a lot of these other things.

(01:30:02):
One, there's a delay at the processing facilities to get these aircraft done.
So there's a lot of airlines who have paid the money for these planes, but haven't gotten them in return because of delays or because of a lot of these ongoing litigations that's been going on as well.
What do you what do you think the airlines should do about that?

(01:30:25):
There's so there's I'll give you a little hint to our little example as well.
There's a lot of airlines that are canceling their orders and going to Airbus.
Do you think that that's valid because of everything that's going on or do you think Boeing should be given time to work out their kinks?
No, I don't think so.
I think whenever if there's another option and obviously Boeing is the big one that everyone uses, right?

(01:30:49):
And so they're kind of like, oh, like you have no choice.
No, like it.
No, I'd say cancel them.
I think that's what the airline should do.
They should cancel it because obviously Boeing made their bed.
Now they got to sleep in it.
And it's like my business shouldn't be affected because you decided you want to cut a whole bunch of corners like you made the bed.
Now you got to lay in it.

(01:31:10):
Sorry, I got to like I got to keep handling business.
I can't cancel these orders.
I got to go somewhere else.
Yeah, exactly.
And in right now what's happened in the aviation industry a lot as well is there used to be a pilot shortage problem.
There was a huge pilot shortage problem because a lot of these boomer pilots, the age to retire in aviation,

(01:31:31):
is 65.
Like you get to 65, you're done.
Like that's the age.
And so a lot of these boomer pilots were hitting 65, couldn't go any further.
They retire and then there wasn't a workforce left.
Well, they made a huge workforce push.
And now the problem is there's not enough planes.
There's so many pilots and not enough planes to fly them.
We've kind of gotten to a reverse problem with that.

(01:31:52):
Now my other here's some other questions that I have.
How much of this is the FAA's fault because they're supposed to be the overseeing body of what's going on here.
They're also the ones who certified the 737 MAX aircraft and said, yep, you're good to go.
Even said, yep, you're good to go after the two crashes happened.
And, you know, they did a full investigation, not just on the MCAS system, but on the entire piece of aircraft.

(01:32:19):
You know, they didn't find the door plug problems, which granted they could have been going fine on that initial investigation.
But they knew about the rudder bolts, right?
They knew about some of those things.
A lot of people are accusing the FAA of just passing Boeing's items along because so a little bit about the aviation industry,

(01:32:40):
you were talking about Boeing's the one that everybody knows.
Airbus is the other one.
Pretty much they have a monopoly on the two.
Airbus is, you know, a large European company.
Boeing is the United States.
And there are some other ones out there, but they're not key players.
Like those are the two key players.
If you're going to buy one from the airline, or like an airline is going to buy from, it's going to be from one of the two, right?

(01:33:02):
It's going to be from one of the two.
And so how much do you think it's the FAA's fault for passing them along and saying, you know what, they probably saw the problems too.
But we're going to pass you along because you're the American carrier and every dollar that Boeing gets, we're getting the money from that.
Yeah, I definitely think they should assume responsibility for that if they still pass them and make new.

(01:33:24):
Yeah, they should still assume responsibility.
Do you think there should be more oversight as far as more FAA presence in the manufacturing facilities and like the finishing facilities that are overseeing and doing checks and double checks because currently that doesn't really happen.
Yeah, especially if there have been issues with safety, you got to kind of buckle down until they get it fixed.

(01:33:48):
And I don't know, it's again, I'm going to watch you until I know that you you've got it and you're not we're not having these problems.
So yeah, there probably should be some more oversight for sure.
All right, so a couple other questions here as a consumer, would you so after everything that I told you now that you have this history, there are all the major airlines are flying this plane right now.

(01:34:10):
Right, so any any time I mean you could be on a Max eight or a Max nine, depending on what airline you get on Southwest flies a lot of them, right.
And so would you so say you're booked on a flight tomorrow and it says Max eight or Max nine on there are you comfortable with flying on that as a consumer knowing everything that you just heard.

(01:34:31):
I mean, there's part of me that's got a little worry, but I'm on the belief man if it's my time to go, it's my time to go.
So that's how I live my life in like, it'll be all right, like it was my time to go, it's my time to go.
I mean, and we also have to think to, you know, flying is a very safe mode of transportation.
And we're talking about two instances that have happened out of thousands of times that they've had successful takeoffs and landings and successful flights.

(01:34:56):
So we're talking about very few instances, but at the same time, it's something to where it's like these things a lot of times it's very lethal.
It's not one of those things of like if it messes up, it's not like, oh, there was a little mess up.
It's like, no, people die kind of thing.
So it's quite big.
But what do you think will happen next?

(01:35:18):
Do you think that Boeing will ever fully recover from their their damaged reputation because at this point, even people like yourself, even people who are not avid aviation folks are looking at Boeing going, they're not the company that they used to be.
And they cut corners. Do you think that they'll ever come back from that?
I think there's a way to come back from that, but it's going to be a long slow process and really and truly, to be honest with you, I mean, since they're the only other one and they're the only American one, people don't really have an option.

(01:35:51):
So unless, but out of this comes an opportunity for someone else to take the lead.
So and Airbus has been actually, even though they're located in Europe, they've started putting manufacturing platforms.
They have a really big one in Mobile, Alabama now, and they they're having somewhere they're producing them on American soil and shipping them out.
So some have also said that it's a chance for Airbus to muscle in a little bit on the American market and have, you know, some stuff here in the United States.

(01:36:19):
But no, I find it very interesting just because it's like from so I have plenty of opinions on it, right?
But from somebody who doesn't really know a whole lot about it, it's it's always interesting to hear the perspective of what you how you think they could have done better and, you know, how they could have done different because they definitely could have for sure.

(01:36:40):
For sure.
My last my last thing is going to be I'm going to go through and name my wrestling Mount Rushmore.
So for people on the mouse on the wrestling Mount Rushmore and then that's all I got.
But I would probably say my wrestling Mount Rushmore would be Rick Flair because Rick Flair is one of the greatest of all times.

(01:37:03):
I mean, he's held the championship 17 times.
So 17 time world champion.
I mean, just his just his charisma and what he brought to the business.
I mean, the guy's a legend.
And then I would probably say Dusty Rhodes because Dusty was entertaining.
But like Dusty did a lot of stuff like behind the scenes like creatively and helped develop a lot of talent.

(01:37:28):
He also came up with a lot of ideas for matches like war games that they WWE uses now.
That was all Dusty Rhodes's idea.
And so just, I don't know.
He was just, I don't know.
He was a goofy guy, but I think his wrestling personality and more what he did for the business like behind the scenes is a big one.

(01:37:49):
And then Shawn Michaels, Shawn Michaels is my all time favorite.
The guy can wrestle.
The guy is an incredible performer.
The guy knows how to tell a story in the ring and out of the ring.
And he just is great on the mic.
Cuts one of the best promos.
Definitely entertaining.
And then I would probably say Sting.
Like a lot of people underestimate Sting, but Sting has just been that constant in wrestling and he's done so many things.

(01:38:15):
And really he hasn't even spent that much time in WWE.
He had a short little WWE run, but most of his time has been in other companies.
And so Sting has just been like a staple of the wrestling business and just had great matches and great character work and all that good stuff.
And so those are my wrestling Mount Rushmore.
My current favorite, as you guys know, is Cody Rhodes.

(01:38:38):
Jay Uso is a big one.
I enjoy Rhea Ripley.
I really enjoy Dominic Mysterio.
So those are probably my ones that I really enjoy right now.
CM Punk, obviously, but.
Yeah, heck yeah.
Since you're saying that, I have to do my football Mount Rushmore, my quarterback Mount Rushmore.
I think some of these are going to kind of surprise you here.

(01:38:59):
I know that.
I have to say Tom Brady.
Like I have to say him mainly just because you can't deny that that guy was the greatest that ever played.
So it's really hard.
I don't like the guy.
Don't like his personality.
Don't like the run that he had.
Don't like anything about that.
But like if you if you're being real with yourself, you have to put him on the Mount Rushmore, right?

(01:39:21):
And of course, true to his Troy Eggman, Joe Montana is the third one on that list.
I really think that he was if you look at a lot of his film, I mean, he just was great.
He won a ton of Super Bowls.
Joe Montana was really cool.
Got to meet him in person.
Super nice guy.
Him and his wife both.
Wait a second, you bet Joe Montana.

(01:39:42):
You've heard this story.
Don't go there.
No, I have not.
Yes.
So worked at the at the airport in Lubbock, Texas.
And it was oh, yeah, yeah, I did.
Yeah.
But tell it.
Okay.
It was late at night and it was kind of kind of interesting.
And typically we would get radio calls of planes that would come in and like this plane just pulled up.

(01:40:04):
It didn't say really anything to us, but sometimes that happened.
So we parked the plane and we had to do the same where we rolled out the red carpet for him and all this other stuff.
Pilot gets off and then it's Joe Montana's wife.
And believe it or not, it's kind of weird.
Lubbock, Texas is a halfway point between the East Coast and the West Coast and it's cheap fuel.
So people would stop there.

(01:40:25):
You see all sorts of celebrities.
You've met all sorts of folks.
But so this was when I say this was the middle of the night, it was probably 1130 12 when they came in and they were flying from.
The East Coast to Van Nuys, California, which is like a really ritty part of California and it was fogged in so they had to wait a little bit.

(01:40:47):
So they were waiting a bit.
And so it's it's always one of those moments with celebrities, especially late at night.
You're at work.
You're sitting here going, holy cow, like it's Joe Montana.
And so there they were in this like break lounge area that we had.
It was we called it the pilot lounge, but it's real nice.
It had couches and whatnot.

(01:41:09):
And we had these little crew cars and the pilots said, hey, you know, they're they're kind of hungry and they're looking to go somewhere.
And I'll tell you something about Lubbock, Texas, man.
The only thing that would be open at that time of night would be Water Burger.
And the closest one was for I hop.
Yeah.
And the closest one was at an Avenue Q, which at that time Avenue Q's got a little different.

(01:41:33):
Now it's a little better, but like it's not one of those places like it was that one on 19th and Q and it's like, bro, I'm not sending Joe Montana to 19th and Q at 12 in the morning.
So I had my lunch there.
I had like two ham and cheese sandwiches and some chips and whatnot.
So I offered him my lunch and sure enough, they were just like, sure.

(01:41:54):
And so him and his wife were eating my ham and cheese sandwich and I'm sitting here going, holy cow, Joe Montana and his wife are eating my ham and cheese sandwich that I packed for me.
And I was like, oh, I'm going to have to eat my ham and cheese sandwich that I packed for lunch.
But they're real cool.
Tipped me 100 bucks, which I'll never forget that was because at the time I was broke as a joke and I was like, oh, 100 bucks is great.
But they, I mean, super down to earth people, the problem and, you know, hindsight, now that I'm not working there, they would always tell us like if you take pictures with people or if you get their autographs, you're fired because you're supposed to treat them like, you know, just regular people like they're not celebrities.

(01:42:31):
And so I try to do my best to do that.
But bro, if I had my chance again, like, come on, let's take a, I would at least try to sneak a picture of them eat my ham and cheese sandwich or something.
But yeah, no, they were, they're really nice people.
They're like really nice people.
And we hung out for a good bit.
Like I didn't talk to him a ton because of course I was working, but it was one of those things to where they're real chill and they're really appreciative.

(01:42:56):
And so now that I see him on TV, sometimes it's like, Hey, I met that guy. He's pretty nice.
He ate my ham and cheese sandwich.
Who's the fourth on your Mount Rushmore?
Drew Brees.
Drew Brees.
I think for me, it's probably because so I have family that's in South Mississippi.
And I think I've never seen more of a hero than when he won the Super Bowl, like the year after Katrina.

(01:43:18):
Like that was, I don't know.
He was probably the biggest hero that that whole area had ever seen.
And so to me, there's always like a special place for Drew Brees because he was real good.
And he really has a good story.
I mean, if you look at what he was doing at San Diego before he came to New Orleans, he really wasn't like a great, he was kind of average.

(01:43:42):
But then he came to New Orleans and became really good.
So that was cool.
And that last but not least, I bet you couldn't guess what this last one is.
Probably not.
Terry Bradshaw.
Have you ever seen that guy's footage?
Dude, have you seen Terry Bradshaw play?
Like dude was amazing.
Dude was freaking fantastic.
Like I feel like, you know, nobody talks about him because he was 70s and 80s.

(01:44:04):
But like Homie was a rough dude.
Like Homie was extremely, he was a physical runner.
And like he was, if you've never seen Terry Bradshaw footage, watch him Terry Bradshaw.
Like yeah, now he's the goofy old guy that's on the, on, you know, Fox show.
But he was, he was a really good player and he was one of the best quarterbacks of all time.

(01:44:28):
So if you ever get a chance to watch that for sure.
So that's my football mountain rush more there.
The only one that surprised me was Terry Bradshaw for sure.
Terry Bradshaw.
Yeah, he's, he's definitely interesting, but he just kind of represented the different breed.
Because I mean, dude like, they don't talk about this, but dude like lost teeth.
He never had hair. He was always like bald.

(01:44:49):
I guess it's so different because you look at a lot of the quarterbacks of today.
And even when we were growing up, they were always kind of pretty boys, right?
Terry Bradshaw was not a pretty boy at all.
And a lot of the quarterbacks of that era were not either.
They were rough and tumble dudes.
I don't know.
It's, it's, it's cool to watch him and how good he was in that era.

(01:45:10):
So heck yeah, man.
Well, that's all I got.
Thank you guys for going on this special two hour journey with us through wrestling, through aviation, through football.
Thanks.
Thanks for, if you're still listening, thanks for just being on the journey with us because 150, that's definitely something to celebrate.
And we definitely wanted to do it.
Our style, our way, although I think our style, our way would just be coming up with a bunch of random skits and sketches to do for a whole episode.

(01:45:40):
And people, maybe only 2% would maybe get the humor out of those.
Hey, it is what it is, man.
We got, you know, a lot of times the content we come up with is funny for us.
It's like, I don't know if it's funny for anybody else, but.
And that's all that matters because I'm having fun doing this.
And if me and you are the only ones that are having fun and maybe one other person, then it's definitely well worth it.

(01:46:02):
But check us out on our Instagram.
You can definitely check out more of those videos on aviation that Michael was kind of talking about.
Kind of, he goes into a little bit deeper on some of the stuff that maybe we mentioned.
But yeah, tell them where to go.
Over at the Aviator Society, over on Instagram.
And then we got the Trashcan Network over on YouTube as well.

(01:46:24):
And, you know, there's a lot of stuff that talk about there.
We even have just like some basic things on there.
We've got some, got some nature videos on there too on the Trashcan Network over on YouTube.
Of course, we got our Facebook or other Instagram page, Trashcan Network.
So yeah, man, come check us out everywhere.
Come interact with us.
We really love it.
And I don't know if you saw, but we got another full flight video on there, which has been pretty cool where I was actually landing in Hurricane Helene or the remnants of it in Atlanta.

(01:46:54):
So yeah, go check that out.
That was pretty, pretty bumpy ride there.
So it was pretty fun if you enjoy that kind of stuff.
So yeah, over at the Trashcan Network, plenty of cool things.
And it wouldn't be the DonutBox podcast if we didn't have the stars just take us out.
I'm Chris and I'm Michael and this is DonutBox Podcast.

(01:47:41):
Thank you.
