I've been toying with the idea of a podcast for a while now, but couldn't think of a format. Then it hit me: I talk way too much, but I don't listen enough. I don't try to learn. I think too often about what I'm going to say next, instead of concentrating on what other people are saying. Likewise, I've come to feel that these days, everyone wants to convince, but no one wants to teach. This is a guest phone-in, prerecorded podcast where you get to teach me about something you're interested in or care about. We may disagree, and we may discuss. But rather than argue, my intention is to learn about what matters to you, whether it's political, religious, philosophical, or about your favorite movie or video game, cooking, card-tricks... whatever. I want to see the world the way you do. I know that many of you have great views, and passions for your interests. So if you like the idea of sharing and discussing them, send me an email at EgotistPodcast@gmail.com, and we'll get started.
What happens when criticizing the president becomes a crime, when free speech is rebranded as “hate”? From Charlie Kirk’s death to school shootings, from the First and Second Amendments to late-night satire, let's peel back the rhetoric, the power moves, and the danger to society. What does this redefinition of dissent under Trump really cost us — and can free speech survive the spin?
In this episode, our completely unlicensed quack of a podcaster delves into the fun, fascinating world of anxiety, complete with ways to help yourself through it.
In which our intrepid podcaster rants about how Trump and the GOP have betrayed Republican values while also taking random pot shots at the Left. Flavored with a smidgen of speculation, a pinch of naughty language, and a dash of good old-fashioned conspiracy theory!
After a four-year hiatus, The Egotistical Podcast is back – this time with a fresh, free-flowing format. No interviews, no script – just me sharing whatever’s on my mind in a stream-of-consciousness style.
This episode dives into the fascinating world of dreams (with just a small side of political ranting). Pop in your earbuds, and enjoy!
