The El Paso Young Democrats hosted a meeting with Rep Eddie Morales so members (and guests) would have the opportunity to learn about and ask questions about the upcoming constitutional amendments up for election. It's useful info, so I'm eager to share it with you all
After the brief, I did ask Rep Morales to unpack what's happening at the special session, and importantly, how we can help -
Spoiler alert - we need to send HAND WRITTEN letters to the Governor's and Lt. Governor's offices. Bury them in hard copy complaints. Make it rain like we're Hogwarts thirsting for Harry's enrollment...you get the idea. Hard copy letters can't as easily be ignored. Demand better for our school system.
