Season 2, Episode 25 of The Eldritch Estate is about Diane Downs. A mother of three, Downs shot her own young children in the back of her car and attempted to place the blame on a "bushy-haired stranger" that she claimed had attacked them on the side of the road. It is believed that she murdered her family in an attempt to continue her long-term affair with married man Robert Knickerbocker.
