Season 2, Episode 26 of The Eldritch Estate is Part 1 of our season 2 finale! H.H. Holmes, born Herman Webster Mudgett, is largely considered to be America's first serial killer. He set up shop in Chicago in the 1880s and set to work constructing his "murder castle," a hotel with several horrors that would claim the lives of many young men and women. In Part 1 we will discuss his background, arrival in Chicago, and the start of his killings. Part 2 (and Part 3) will go up in the proceeding weeks.
