, and I'm so excited to get backat it.
There's so many things that Iwant to share with you and talk
about, and today is no exception, so we're going to get right
into it right after this.

Okay, so let's start with somereal talk here.

Have you ever felt like you aretrapped in a really obnoxious
group text that went completelyoff the rails, like you didn't
ask to be in it and you don'teven know half the people that
are in it?
Be in it and you don't evenknow half the people that are in
it.
Yet your phone is blowing upwith arguments about politics
and gender and race and who's toblame and why.

You have to pick a side oryou're going to be canceled.
Yeah well, that's basicallywhat modern America is all about
.
And while we're at it, can wejust go ahead and acknowledge
the not so little elephant inthe room?
We are being manipulated likeso bad and so on, purpose and so

consistently by both sides ofthe argument, that's whether
it's the political aisle or thesocial construct aisle.
It is every major media outletthat knows, without a doubt,
that outrage equals ratings andfear equals control.

(02:54):
It's probably like the oldesttrick in the book divide and
conquer and spoiler alert it'sworking like really, really well
, but it doesn't have to.
Let's break it down with howthis game is being played
against us, the left-leaningmedia.
They'll have you believe thatif you question a biological
male in your daughter's lockerroom, you are a hate-filled

bigot, right.
You're harming trans kids.
You dangerous.
And the right-wing media willshow clip after clip of liberal
insanity and, trust me, there'sno shortage of it but they will
wrap it up in a headline soalarming that you're going to
think that Armageddon hasalready hit my loves.

We are not being informed,we're being influenced.
Let's talk about politics, okay,are you ready?
When the Democrats lost in 2016, all we heard about was Russian
interference right.
And when the Republicans lost,it became all about stolen
elections, right.
Whatever side or part that youmight agree with, even just a

little bit, there is one commonthread in that, and that is
there is a pattern to it all.
Both sides preach democracywhen they win, but when they
lose, suddenly the system isrigged.
And I'm not saying that there'sno truth to that, but
regardless, we're the ones whoare left with, like election
fatigue and this absolutemistrust of our governing bodies

Why does it work and why doesit keep happening.
Well, because we let it.
We just eat up those headlines,we repost the memes, we
unfriend people we grew up withbecause they voted differently.
But hang on a second.
Okay, let me read this to youfrom Matthew 24, 10 through 12.
Many will fall away and betrayone another and hate one another

, and because lawlessness willbe increased, the love of many
will grow cold.
Does it sound familiar?
The division is spiritual andit's strategic.
And oh and, by the way, satanloves it.
He is dancing in the streetswhen the churches are split over
masks and families and theystop speaking over Facebook

posts.
But here is the good news wedon't have to play along.
Let's get practical.
Okay, here's what we can do.
Turn off the rage machine, andI mean this so seriously.
Take a break.
So seriously take a break.
Stop letting cable news orTwitter I'm sorry, x shape your

entire worldview.
If you read Proverbs 18, 13, itsays To answer before listening
.
That is folly and shame.
So let's do more listening andless reacting and yes, I am
preaching to myself here, like100% to myself and if it
benefits you, even better.

and not yelling across thecomments section.
Real, respectful humanconversations, ask questions, be
curious and speak truth in love.
And yes, of course that'sbiblical 1 Peter 3.15.
Just look it up Next.
And so super, super, superimportant teach your kids to
think biblically.
The schools won't do it, so wehave to.

We need to teach them to spotmanipulation and teach them to
ask what does God's word sayabout this?
In Proverbs 22.6,.
Train up a child in the way heshould go right.
Yes, number four, be a bridge,not a barrier.
You can be bold and kind at thesame time.
Remember and it's my favoriteJesus flipped tables, but he

also washed the feet of others,so we have to remember both.
Okay, so here's the takeaway thepowers that be want us divided,
distracted and disillusioned,but we serve a kingdom that
isn't shaken.
We're called to be peacemakers,not pawns, and Jesus said in
John 13, 35, by this, all peoplewill know that you are my

disciples if you have love forone another.
So, as hard as it is, let'srise above the outrage.
Let's speak boldly, lovefiercely and never back down
from the truth.
