Our guest today was introduced to me by a good friend of the podcast, Ryan Sprague, and when he sends someone my way I know it will be a good conversation.
Back in 2004 our guest became the first Westerner to be recognized as a Maestro Medico Vegetalista or Amazonian Plant Medicine Expert. Since receiving this title of distinction he has guided over 3,000 plant medicine ceremonies and has assisted over 15,000 individuals on their healing journeys.
To say he is well versed in the realm of plant medicine is an understatement. He is also a coach, author, teacher and artist. He has been featured by Time Magazine, National Geographic, The New York Times and The Aubrey Marcus Podcast.
He is here to take us on a deep dive into plant medicines and the indigenous wisdom teachings of the Amazonian Jungle.
