When it comes to oxymorons, the moronic practice of fighting for peace comes to mind. In a passionate relationship, a good fight can lead to an amazing breakthrough and a bad fight can lead to a nasty breakdown. The difference between a good fight, and a bad fight, is the intention that we bring into it. The EmPOWERment Couple has been busy doing some market research on the subject of conflict resolution, and what we found was a simple solution to attain peace.
In this peaceful discussion, we address:
Once we drop our swords and knives, lay down our shields, strip out of our armor, and stand naked and exposed, we allow our partner to do the same. Imagine a lifetime spent stripped clean of fear and aggression from and for your partner. It is at this stage in the relationship that The EmPOWERment Couple encourages you to strive. When we feel safe to grow and free to create within our bodies and our relationships, we gain access to a power source that is unlimited, flowing, and life-giving. This source, also known as love, is easily reached when we fight for peace.
