We’ve just launched 17 new men’s wedding band designs at Melanie Casey Jewelry, and there’s a story behind this collection. After my husband lost his original hand-carved ring during a frisbee game, it was time for an upgrade — and the perfect chance to take a fresh look at men’s wedding jewelry.

there's a story behind it. WhenI first started out in the fine
jewelry industry, I wax carvedmy husband's wedding band from
scratch. Let's just say it wasperfectly imperfect. Over the
years, it took a beating, andI'd been trying to convince him
to upgrade to one of my currentdesigns for a while, but we kept

dragging our feet Well, wefinally got our reason to
upgrade.
Last month, we were away withfriends, and the guys got really
into lawn games. My husband tookoff his ring so it wouldn't keep
hitting the Frisbee. And as youcan probably guess, at some
point, it fell out of his pocketand disappeared into the grass.
So it was upgrade time. When hestarted trying on bands from our

collection, it felt like theoptions were so limited.
I hadn't realized it had been solong since I designed a new
men's band. I even went onlineto see what other jewelers were
offering and I was shocked athow little is out there. Men's
wedding jewelry is trulyunderserved. So it was time to
expand. I designed 17 brand newmen's wedding bands, more than

My husband chose his new bandfrom this collection, and soon
he'll be wearing the new sevenmillimeter square band in yellow
gold. Hopefully, he keeps thisone longer than the first. And
