Have you heard the hype? The Enneagram is the personality test to beat all personality tests. But, it’s much more than just giving you a bunch of numbers or letters to tell you about your traits and strengths. This model is actually designed to be a tool to tell us what to watch out for in our habits and tendencies and also to increase our empathy and understanding in relationships. That’s what Jess, the Enneagram coach, is here to tell us about today!

Jess Gartner has a hard time describing herself because she has her hand in A LOT of things! One of those is podcasting, which is how we first got connected. I was on her show a few months back and had such a fun time talking with her that I knew I needed to get her on my show, too. The most important hats that she wears, though, are those of mom and wife. That was probably my biggest takeaway from today’s episode - how the Enneagram can make such an impact on the close, personal relationships in your life! Since we chatted, I have already recounted so much of the information that Jess shared with me in conversations with my friends, my husband, and even my counselor!

If you’re a personality test skeptic, let me tell you this isn’t your average strengths-finder quiz. The Enneagram is so much more! In Part 1 today, Jess is explaining all the major components of how the Enneagram works, where it comes from, and how to use it in our every day lives. We’re also diving into the nine different personality types. Heads up - you might start sweating when you hear your type identified! We’re just discussing the first three today so you’ll have to tune back in for Part 2 to hear the rest. But whatever number you identify with, remember that learning about all the numbers can be so helpful to your relationships at work and at home.

Are You A Charlotte?

Are You A Charlotte?

In 1997, actress Kristin Davis’ life was forever changed when she took on the role of Charlotte York in Sex and the City. As we watched Carrie, Samantha, Miranda and Charlotte navigate relationships in NYC, the show helped push once unacceptable conversation topics out of the shadows and altered the narrative around women and sex. We all saw ourselves in them as they searched for fulfillment in life, sex and friendships. Now, Kristin Davis wants to connect with you, the fans, and share untold stories and all the behind the scenes. Together, with Kristin and special guests, what will begin with Sex and the City will evolve into talks about themes that are still so relevant today. "Are you a Charlotte?" is much more than just rewatching this beloved show, it brings the past and the present together as we talk with heart, humor and of course some optimism.
