Wendy is also an author, producer, Host of her own comedy-cooking show, film producer, documentary maker, gay activist, animal activist, and New York Nightlife personality. Wendy has had so many adventures and stories to tell. Wendy believes that successful performers must draw from their own life experiences.
New Yorker Wendy Stuart-Kaplan is a ’70s club kid and model who has done it all, from basking in the dazzling lights of the legendary Studio 54 and rubbing shoulders with the likes of Carl Bernstein, Andy Warhol and Calvin Klein, to saving elephants on treks to Thailand.
Model With A Mission is a series of videos Wendy created, interviewing an international group of everyday people and experts, who are protecting endangered species, and cultures from environmental impact.
Wendy's recently published memoir She’s The Last Model Standing is a hilarious, occasionally poignant story of coming to New York City with dreams of becoming a supermodel, and ending up becoming one of the most sought after fit models in the industry. The path along the way for Wendy was often rocky but led to meeting Andy Warhol, shooting with Francesco Scavullo, and starring so far off-Broadway Wendy was almost in the Hudson River.
