With the 97th Academy Awards in the rearview mirror, the Gents could not get over how Adam Sandler was able to steal the show, thanks to host Conan O'Brien (1:15). All the major wins of the award ceremony led our hosts to talk all things sports to kick off the month of March, and there was no bigger news story than what happened in the aftermath of Elimination Chamber. The internet was taken by complete surprise witnessing John Cena's heel turn (19:15), the first time he has ever done so in his wrestling career. TV highlights what this means in the storylines leading up to the events of WrestleMania 41 as the megastar is poised to challenge Cody Rhodes for the Universal WWE Championship next month. EstoBro was delighted to see the Los Angeles Lakes celebrate One Piece in their series against their crosstown rival Clippers over the weekend, as TV finally says his piece over the aftermath of the Luka Dončić trade (33:50). With Spring Training and the NFL Combine in the air, EstoBro acknowledges the comments made by Heisman trophy winner Travis Hunter, stating his claim that his commitment to being a dual-threat athlete is 'more difficult' than what Shohei Ohtani does in baseball (49:45). A controversial commencement indeed; the Gents know that the statement made by Hunter is only trying to inflate his draft stock for the NFL Draft coming soon. With it being March, the Gents are excited to partake in March Madness once more (62:40) and make a formal invitation to their dedicated listening audience to partake in the podcast's bracket challenge.
