The Gents have always been fans of parody and cultural references, especially in animated comedy shows. That is why when Family Guy did a highlight for Barstool's One Bite (2:00), EstoBro and TV greatly appreciate Seth MacFarlane for always staying relevant with their jokes. As they depart the roller coaster that was the cold open, the Gents freely riff the multimedia and entertainment episode. It takes them a minute, and they finally reach the point where they address the state of Disney Studios after the release of the live action of Snow White and the Seven Dwarves (26:45). In such a symbolic IP for the Disney franchise, which is shrouded by more controversy than a film should be, the Gents highlight why this film is performing under expectations and why Disney does not care if it succeeds or fails. EstoBro and TV heed the warning on what tightrope Disney is walking, especially when their MCU studio has received lukewarm reviews with the latest entries for comic book films. The summer blockbuster fight will occur between the MCU and DC cinematic studios, now led by James Gunn (48:00). A great debate on the state of films in March, right here on the EstoBro TV Podcast.
