In our 2nd episode, we talk about the trailblazer Harriet Tubman. Tubman played a crucial role in the fight against slavery and brought freedom to so many through the Underground Railroad. After her many trips South to bring family and loved ones to freedom, she took on multiple roles during the Civil War and became the first woman to lead an armed expedition in the war. After the war, she continuing to care for the vulnerable and helped spread awareness of the Women's Suffrage movement. Born into a life of slavery, Tubman persevered and earned the title "Moses of Her People".
