The readings for this week for the Fifth Sunday in Lent are: Isaiah 43:16-21, Psalm 126, Philippians 3:4b-14, and John 12:1-8. This week we look at plants and compare the benefits and drawbacks of annuals and perennials. We see that each has their place and are needed but like Jesus talks about in the gospel, sometimes we need to be okay with putting lots of effort into the present. This does not mean not looking to the future or looking back to the past, but it can't hold us back as well. It is a fine line to walk, but as people walk out the faith, it is necessary. Thanks again for taking the time out to listen to this and I hope this is a tool that you find useful.
Remember to answer this week's question:
How do you see the past, present, and future working together in your life? #FaithandSciPod
